Purchased an 8 pack of Mercury beer, it was cloudy, tasted horrible, ended up pouring the beer down the drain so that at least I could recover my deposit on the cans, what a waste of money.

I just opened a can of cloudy Mercury that looks and tastes fowl. I was wondering why it was so cheap. Is this normal ? EDIT: I ended up getting a replacement case, and I thought it tasted great !

For starters, there's no tasting room - flights are not available, despite the wood placard on the wall behind the taps that clearly reads "flights!" Perhaps more importantly, I was nearly floored by how poor the alleged flagship Mercury lager was. Seriously, I think it would even make Ravinder Minhas blush. Absolutely not worth the trek. Two stars only because the young man I spoke to during my visit was exceptionally cordial, welcoming and polite. Just too bad his employer makes such a underwhelming brew.

Have been buying murcury strong for probably a year now. Last 2 months i have had 2 beers that were halfway or less full, website doesnt work and sends me to facebook (which i dont have) decent beer, not very good service or quality control.

Well did love this beer both mercury and due north. But bought one of each with in a week from 2 different liquor stores and they both were rotten couldn’t even stomach it. They smelt bad and even looks creamy. Not sure what has been happening. But not happy will have to change to another beer.

Havè not been there, however every case of mercury beer has been cloudy no matter where I have bought it. Not impressed so we have switched to another beer.

This beer used to be really good a year ago ive bought 2 15 packs and an 8 in the last two months and theyre selling rotten beer everywhere 3 different liquor stores. Its disgusting and horrible business

I really enjoyed this beer and was happy to support an Alberta company but in the last couple months something has changed, not sure what it is but I have had beer that has tasted like it was poured form a vinegar bottle and some has been down right rotten smelling at first I thought it was just a bad case but started talking to friends and many had the same experience so sorry to say I will not be buying it again.

Bought a 24 pack. Tastes terrible, tried it on other people and they couldn't drink it either. Poured it in a glass it's cloudy and had a yeasty smell. Did I just get a bad batch? Bought at Superstore in Medicine Hat.

I just discovered Mercury Lager today. You can't get a better beer for the price point. I've tried everything in it's class. It has flavour, but not too much. No wierd flavours either. Just decent beer.

Not really a beer drinker but hubby is. The look on his face when he cracked the can would be funny if I didn't spend money on it. All 15 cans were either sour, cloudy or both. One can was only half full. Wanted to support an Alberta brewery but will spend the extra 5-10 dollars and support breweries that have quality control.

First case of Mercury I bought this summer was awesome 15 for 18$ wow and it tasted decent and didn’t give me a headache like Molson does. Liked it enough went back and got another 15, grossest beer ever night and day difference between the two Sour sour sour so bad best before was 6 months before I bought it. Took it back for a refund. Took a chance again this fall and bought more it was good again other than at least two cans were half empty. So I bought another pack just a week ago. Slight citrus hints is an understatement it tastes like lemon juice I don’t understand the inconsistencies, get your quality control guy fired!
