In a beautiful little old house from 1923, very well renovated, is this restaurant with eco-responsible cuisine. Their charcoal cooking is very artistic and tries to awaken all our senses! Very warm welcome as soon as you entered and a lot of space to choose from since it was a long weekend. To our great happiness since we did not have a reservation. We chose to sit on the terrace, balcony level. We took three entrees; Torchon Foie Gras - $ 24, Lamb Tartare - 20 and Nagano Pork Ribs - $ 16. Everything was really excellent, but the ribs really outperformed, too bad they don't make them as a main course. We serve you an appetizer while you wait for your meal. Nice wine list. The service, by Serge, was perfect, without any lack. The wine service was at the right speed. I hate it when people fill my glass after every sip. The music, jazz, blues and old rock, was just perfect and we ended our meal with a Ginko infusion - $ 6. It is very well shared between two. We serve you a little treat at the end of your meal. We ate very well and enjoyed our evening. It is certain that we will do another hour of driving to return there. You will be charmed! Dans une belle petite ancienne maison de 1923, très bien rénovée, se trouve ce restaurant avec cuisine écoresponsable. Leur cuisine sur charbon de bois est très artistique et essaye d'éveiller tous nos sens! Très bel accueil aussitôt entré et beaucoup de choix de place vu que c'était une longue fin de semaine. À notre grand bonheur puisque nous n'avions pas de réservation. Nous avons choisi de nous installer sur la terrasse, niveau balcon. Nous avons prit trois entrées; Foie Gras Torchon - 24$, Tartare d'agneau - 20 et Ribs de Porc Nagano - 16$. Tout était vraiment excellent, mais les côtes surpassaient vraiment, dommage qu'ils ne les fonts pas en plat principal. On vous sert un amuse bouche en attendant votre plat. Belle carte des vins. Le service, par Serge, était parfait, sans aucun manque. Le service du vin à été à la bonne vitesse. Je déteste quand on me rempli mon verre après chaque gorgée. La musique, jazz, blues et vieux rock, était juste parfaite et nous avons terminé notre repas avec une infusion au Ginko - 6$. Elle se partage très bien à deux. On vous sert une petite mignardise pour votre fin de repas. Nous avons très bien mangé et apprécié notre soirée. Il est certain que nous referons une heure de route pour y revenir. Vous serez charmé!

Maison Boire was hands down one of the best culinary experiences of my life. Not only was the service exceptional, but the food was divine. The ingredients are so fresh that it gave me a new perspective on what real food tastes like. It is clear that every dish is created and plated with love and intention. We started with the delicious vegetarian Pizzette, which came with delicious fries and the freshest salad I have ever tasted. I had the risotto, and my partner had the lamb. Both were so flavorful and the ingredients were clearly selected carefully to complement the dishes. We finished dinner with the cranberry sorbet with champagne, which was a fresh and inventive way to end the meal. Each dish was described perfectly by our server Alex. He told us that this was voted the most sustainable restaurant in Canada due to its use of only local ingredients, some of which are so local that they are grown on the rooftop of the restaurant. Alex was kind enough to give us a tour of the restaurant after our meal, and we learned more about the history of the establishment and their future goals towards an even more sustainable food supply. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Definitely will be returning!

OMG! The place is unrecognizable since Maison Boire took over this local. Gone is the outdated kind of Italian Da Teresa, now it's a very modern and classy restaurant. The décor is gorgeous with fancy upholstery a nice looking bar and even a cool mirror ceiling. The tables, the chairs, the benches, it's all brand new. They really did a serious relooking job. The food was good too. They specialised in braised and grilled plates, which gives a nice smell to the place. It's creative and not too expensive at least for diner it was very reasonable. They had a nice attention to details, fresh homemade bread, a choice of aromatised water, and friendly service, I will definitely go back, probably with friends to show them too. However, I wish they would improve their choices of wine, it was a very basic and limited selection.

La section les vins de chez du Québec, nous permet de découvrir le vin d’ici au verre. Idéal pour faire un accord met et vin. Service très courtois et professionnel. Ils ont leurs propres jardins sur le toit d’où provient les légumes, fines herbes et laitues que l’on vous sert. Fraîcheur garantie à 100%. Rapport qualité prix excellent pour un établissement aussi raffiné et convivial. Ils ont vraiment le soucie du détail, on vous offre même un eau infusé aux fleurs et herbes du jardin pour vous désaltérer en arrivant. On sent très bien que le concept derrière ce superbe restaurant à été soigneusement réfléchi par des vrai passionnés. 10/10

My 6th time here and my experience was nowhere near as satisfying as the first time. What was the most disappointing was the change in menu. The choices were limited with absolutely no fish on the menu at all. The cheese and cold cut platter which was amazing and what I was looking forward to as an entree was removed from the menu as well. I was told that the menu will change according to the seasons and to what is available locally which is fine but as long as the choices remain limited as they are I don’t think I will be returning. I chose the grilled cheese cake for dessert and I have to say that it was no where near a “cheese cake” and not refined at all for the type of restaurant Maison Boire is reputed to be. I ate everything I ordered because I was hungry and all was very tasty but it does’t make up for how disappointing this experience was compared to all the other times. The staff was pleasant and the service was great as usual but my dinner left so much to be desired. Sorry guys:(

Bought Tuango 70$ per person. Waiter was pushing us to go faster for next service, no-one even showered up after us no reservations. We asked about a 28$ local wine, the waiter suggested a Bordeaux - at bill time the wine was 67$,we had 2 bottles. Telling us about the price difference would have been courteous at the very least. The bavette was at best average, and the only available choice on our 3 choice menu. We needed a magnifying glass to find the dessert, so very small. Final cost 374$ for 4 people. Rude staff, average foof, awful experience. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
