REVIEWS OF Lost Acres Vineyard IN Granby

I am

Been there several times and each time has been a great experience. You probably don't want to go during the Harvest Saturday unless you buy a ticket and spend the day. Will go back.

Both reds we tried were surprisingly good. We ended up with a couple bottles. We enjoyed them outside in the lawn with many other happy customers.

The road is a bit winding to get there, but once there, Lost Acres Winery will deliver to you taste bud. I plan on going back soon for the cool relaxing atmosphere and good tasting wine. I must mention that you never have to worry about the noise level either.

Atmosphere is second to none. The wine is excellent, and I love that they offer food plates. It is IMPOSSIBLE to take a bad photo. Met the owner once and he was awesome to talk to. You can reserve time for special events during non-business hours, too, making it ideal for whatever you might have in mind. I'm the matron of honor in a wedding next year and I can't imagine having the bridal shower anywhere else!

Monica Claros

Great small winery and vineyard. We love the white wines and the Friday night music shows.

Anthony King

Don't be afraid to bring snacks and enjoy a table outdoors. Wine tasting is optional. Very welcoming and relaxing.

Lovely vineyard up in the hills of CT surrounded by lush forest and nature! Variety of wine to suit every taste and delish cheese platters combined with a view of the vineyard and horse pasture - what a treat!

Samuel Tuccio

A great way to spend the afternoon with the family. Great wine, cheese plates, and lawn games. The staff are so friendly and the scenery is beautiful.

Adhavan Veeraiyan

It's a beautiful Slice of New England with a fabulous wine!

Ken Kuhl

We love bringing our camp chairs here with some cheese and crackers and enjoying a bottle of wine here. Staff has always been friendly. Fun low-key atmosphere. You can sit inside, on the porch or bring your own chairs and sit far from everyone if you prefer.

Brad Blecker

Great outdoor space and good wine!!

Christopher Kube

Lost Acres is a nice vineyard with a low key schedule of education and entertainment. Check their website to plan your visit; there may or may not be entertainment and / or tasting events. We prefer to come when there is music and when the weather is either very good (sit outside) or very bad (red wine huddle inside). Their Wedge White is very good for me.

Anthony Rinaldi

Awesome atmosphere, great wine.

Mary Chicoine

So relaxing and solid wine with a tremendous environment!

Michael Cruz

Wines were awful at this vineyard. Most had a strange taste and had lots of sediment. No red grapes grown but many red wines in the lineup......so much for Connecticut wines here!

Christina Perez

Delightful area to spend an afternoon with friends and a bottle of one of their many choices of yummy wines!

Lynn Guelzow

Richard Marti

Beautiful ambiance and fantastic wines. Very warm and inviting. Awesome place to sit and relax with a glass of wine and a cheese board by the fireplace on a cold winter's day. Super friendly staff. Will be back.

Mindy Duval

Luis Santiago

Beautiful place. Calm atmosphere. Very nice vineyard. Wines are awesome and so are the wine tasting servers. Will definitely visit again.

Alice LeBron

Awesome place to relax with a bottle of wine! Very casual, bring your own snacks.

Kyle Higgins

The staff so.friendly, very nice outside porch with comfortable seating. Lovely outside seating and tables available. Will definately return.

Is there a no star option? I agree with the two previous reviews..... very rude. Not the waitstaff! The snotty women and gentlemen who own this place. I’m only in my 30’s but, whatever happened to catering to the customer!?!? Will not explain my interaction on here, but please keep your guard up if you visit this establishment.

Julieth Callejas

Peter Gottschalk

Their chilled Rosé was very satisfying on a hot day sitting at a table out on their lawn. Buy the bottle, drinking by the glass is expensive.

Nick LoRicco

Carmen Colindres

Louise Plack

Very relaxing.

Megan McDonnell

Love Lost Acres! The staff is always friendly and accommodating! The White Wedge is fantastic as are all the other wines. Do not go when Jim Reed is the entertainment, it is painful. I hope he has a regular job!

Richard Cihkey

Great place to relax and good wine too.

Bonnie Waterhouse

Good wine and a great view. Nice indoor seating during the winter and a porch with a great view during the summer. The only problem is that their hours are inconsistent. Sometimes they close without notice even though their posted hours state that they're open. Happened to us about 3 times so far.

Liz and I love Lost Acres Vineyard. She is a life long resident of Simsbury and Granby and we now live in NJ together. We visit almost every time we are in CT and we have never had a bad experience. The wine is tasty, the scenery is amazing and they are dog friendly outside. Kudos on the dry riesling.

Hubert Mellaly

Very nice and relaxed atmosphere and delicious wine

David Leal

Angela Derose

Invites you to stay and enjoy rather than taste and run.

john reek

Yet Another winery where the wines had a strange taste and were too dry, yuk!!!

Brian Collette

The girl doing the wine tasting was very nice unfortunately I didn't get her name, my husband and I enjoyed all the wines we tasted!!!! The atmosphere was nice but not like other places we have been to.

Mary Lister

Beautiful grounds, you can sit on the expansive lawn and sip amazing wine and snack on a cheese/antipasto plate. (Or order a delicious pizza from the food truck). Taking in the beautiful grounds, grape vines and horses grazing in the fields.

Karen Avery

The Vinyard is in an out of the way location but not too far as compared to the other Vinyards of Ct. The wines are really good my favorite being Rock Wall Red. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. A cliche but still - well worth the trip from anywhere!

john nachio

Unless you are a regular customer the staff and owner are very snobby. Would not go back.

Beautiful venue, good wine. Love their Riesling.

Beautiful spot for a nice sunny Autumn day. Have been there before but been about 4 years. Tables and chairs positioned on the property with enjoyable entertainment. Great staff, service and say hello to Kevin the owner. They have a wonderful selection of wines from dessert, whites and reds. We had a nice Antipasto plate and sipped on a bottle of Firehouse red. We will be back soon!

Kevin Edwards

Wonderfully friendly, cozy spot to relax. Wine is excellent!
