Brignole is one of my favorites! Great selection of wines, knowledgeable staff, and the space is beautiful. Very impressed with the new outdoor seating area and procedures they have put into place in response to COVID. Will be back again soon and continue to reccomend to friends and family.

Had my daughter's baby shower there. Rented the banquet room upstairs. This place is brand new and it's beautiful. The staff us very helpful, the sangria's were wonderful. Plent6 of wonderful wine to taste and enjoy. A++!

Pros: Beautiful winery. The wines are good. The outside porch was pretty. Like the fact that we can bring our own food. Con: Just felt the tasting was rushed. My idea of a tasting: tell me about the wine, what food it would pair with it. Not pour, tell me a quick synopsis about it and stand there and wait until I am done so the next one can be poured. It was not busy when we arrived. There was 3 people behind the bar. Would go back but ask them, please don't rush the tasting. I want to enjoy my experience.

I was on a fun weekend with my friends, just trying to enjoy and dance. At one point when dancing the male staff members came out onto the porch and were taking videos of us. I felt extremely violated, the staff should not be taking videos of the guests. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Brignole vineyard.

I was picking up passengers and wasn't sure where to wait with my car. Instead of politely asking me to move my vehicle, the parking lot attendant (old man) cursed me out. Incredibly unprofessional and uncalled for. Does he speak to the patrons this way? I'll never find out because, based on that interaction alone, this establishment will NEVER get my patronage. 0/10 would not reccomend.

Extremely lovely place to sit and have a wine afternoon. Lots of seating. They have a big tent for outside and tables with umbrellas. They have food trucks come to the vine yard. They have cheese you can buy too, in case you packed a subpar charcuterie board. They have appropriate covid19 measures in place. No flights at this time, but who cares just buy a bottle and enjoy your visit

Went on a Saturday evening. Enjoyed a white wine called white tip. Bought a bottle of summer storm (red) and brought it to a cookout, was well received by the guests. I enjoyed it myself. Nice vineyard. A bit pricey but enjoyed the wine

This was the nicest vineyard that I have been to. Their tasting room was gorgeous and they also have a lovely deck with a view. However, they only had two wine selections. And they were a seasonal flavor. Nice place to have a drink/get together, but the wine was nothing to rave about.

An absolutely Gorgeous winery. Breath taking. Staff is amazing, wine is great, the have food trucks or even light snacks too. Speaking about my first visit, but I will definitely be a repeat customer. Great spot for a chance to enjoy the outdoors when weather permits. Pretty well priced, and plenty of seating/picnic benches for guests to safely spread out. Would recommend.

Came on a Sunday afternoon, it was very busy and they had live music. The building was big enough with many places to sit in and outdoors. You can bring food l, but they also had snacks you can purchase and a food truck was available. I’d recommend a tasting. They have about 20-24 different wines.

A gorgeous site to have a glass of wine some cheese and some great conversation. They also hold events as large as 250 people and wonderful place to host a wedding or Gathering. The staff is amazing and very friendly and the owners are caring and compassionate people that put great time and Care into their craft of wine making. This vineyard is stunning - there was no expense spared in building the tasting room and event space. Going on the weekend for tastings meets a good sized crowd, which was very loud indoors; however we waited no more than 15 minutes to start a tasting. Staff is extremely friendly and informative, and the wines, European in style, have improved greatly since last year.

Nothing too fancy (unless you would want to). ????????Down on the lawn there was a small graduation party/gathering. They had their own food and music playing in the background. So any occasion that would suit the need for wine and laid back vibe is perfect. Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Birthdays, 21st, engagements, proposals, dates, etc.???????????????? ????????????????????Wish I would of known ahead of time that we could bring our own food. Cheese, crackers, spreads, any type of platters, etc. There is a grocery store near by (Geisler's). Some restaurants also deliver there as well. ????✈I would suggest to start with a "flight" (a quad sampler of wines to try that's placed in tiny crafts and served on a narrow board, hence the name...flight). If you're with more ppl try not to duplicate the wines, then you can expand your sampling. Take your time in reading over the menu together to insure that you all are getting what you want. Also if you like cold wine ask for ice. The wines that were served cold wear barely chilled. To each their own. But I enjoy my whites/blushes COLD!!???? *also you may KEEP the glass you choose that comes with your flight???? ????I would suggest to bring a water bottle to rinse your glass in-between. As well as something to clean your palette. As I mentioned above. They do have some options they sell there. ????Oh they are also PET FRIENDLY!!!???? Just make sure they're on a leash or bag. And somewhat behaved. Tag a picture of your dog for a chance to win a bottle of wine using their hashtag ????+????+#️⃣=???????? ????for the smokers, yuppers they actually do allow smoking on property.

The vineyard was fantastic, we really enjoyed the two house wines we got and we were able to let our dog enjoy the outside seating. The inside area was crowded but cozy at the same time. Great place to meet friends!

I went to brignole expecting to be able to order food because I saw that on their website as well as being told by another CT passport participate that they had a humus dish to die for. When I got there there was a band playing which was entertaining. I went to the bar and asked if I could order food and do a tasting. The young woman behind the counter told me they don't serve food. I did the tasting instead and was not impressed by any of the wines. The building is certainly beautiful and they do offer a larger than most selection of wines for a CT vineyard.

This is a very active vineyard with weekly events such as music, food trucks, trivia nights, etc. Folks gather here for events, dates, meetings, family time. You can bring your own snacks, purchase from them, or the food trucks. Besides wine they also have wine slushies and sangrias. Beautiful venue with lots of seating and parking.

We showed up right as they opened and it was an unexpected mad dash to just find seats! They do not do flights on the weekends. However this isn't noted anywhere on the vacinity or their website. This was dissapointing as it was our first visit and we wanted to try a variety of their wines! Additionally, the picnic tables had umbrellas that were not properly secured, risking a lot of safety concerns when the wind blew. Overall, I was expecting more from this vineyard. The wines that we did have were tasty and refreshing. There was also a food truck on site!

Went today around 1pm.the staff was super professional and following all the infection prevention guidelines. Sat outside under the tent. All the patrons were observing the rules. We felt very safe there. The food selection from their kitchen was great and reasonably prices and there was a food truck in the parking lot. They had alcoholic lemonade slushies and mango sangria. Everything was fantastic. I would strongly recommend this if you want to get out and have a good time outdoors in a safe environment. Thanks to all the staff from the man at the front door who explained the rules and led us to our table to the servers and food prep folks. Thank you thank you thank you! It was nice to feel a little normal again :)

They recently expanded their outdoors. We went there for a birthday get together and the 10 of us nearly tried everything on the menu with our packed lunches. They're dog friendly and have shaded seating. They can get busy, but that's hardly something they control.

My girlfriend and I both did a tasting as soon as we got there. Then we each got a glass and sat and watched the band play. The wine was excellent and the band playing was very good too. We didn't get to try the food because we had heard they had grown too big to keep up with it. I'm not sure if that's confirmed or not but they welcome bringing your own food anyways, and I'm really looking forward to going back.

Brignole Winery is so beautiful. The building, the grounds and incredible staff. We met Christian, Todd and Justin....super nice gentleman. Knowledgeable and friendly. We started with their guava sangria, which was delicious followed by a semi sweet rosé and a semi dry white wine. It was a Thursday so we were able to bring food from Freshie's Cafe.

A beautiful place to spend a lovely afternoon with friends while on vacation. Their white sangria is fantastic and they make a fantastic pink wine slushy. The tasting menu has 6 wines for $10 (1-2 ounce pours each). I prefer whites while my fiance likes reds, so we were able to mix it up and each of us enjoyed the pours. They also have snacks (cheese, crackers, etc) for purchase to pair with the wines. After the tastings, we spent some time on the balcony, enjoying sangrias. Great place for a nice weekend afternoon.

We went there over Memorial Day weekend right after they were allowed to reopen for outdoor dining only. From the check-in at the door (for table assignment), to the table waiting for ordering and delivery (you couldn’t go to the counter, etc. – they did it all by IPad) it was great. They had a bunch of picnic tables, with menus, and a sign stand to place your laminated table number in it if you needed assistance. They also had a food truck as well as their regular cheese/meat tray options. But you can also bring your own food! Our server, Sarah, was great! Very friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a nice winery to visit on the weekends. The day we went they had a lobster truck and it was packed. They had plenty of staff so there was very little waiting. They also had plenty of outdoor seating. The wine is very good too.

This location is a bit of a mixed bag. The setting and staff are all excellent and I enjoy visiting. The staff can handle a crowd impressively well. The wines are a different story. There is a large selection here, but I feel it's a bit of quantity vs quality situation. The whites here taste very similar with some hard to tell apart. They are all good, but nothing memorable. The exception being the white port with grappa, which was a wild surprise. The winery does knock it out of the park with a few of the reds and that keeps us coming back. The wines have the distinct flavors that deliver the wow factor you want if the wine is $28-32 a bottle. Overall, it's a winery worth visiting. I strongly recommend the reds for the best value here.

This place was great! It was super packed and I still felt that the bartender was giving us the attention we needed to get in a good tasting. The wines here are excellent. There is quite a large selection. So far the best wines I've had on the CT wine trail. Wines are a little higher priced than other wineries, but worth it. I definitely recommend this place.

Here now on Saturday, arrived around 4:30. 1st time visitor. Got a few tacos, reasonably priced & decent for a quick bite. No tastings at this time. Enjoying a glass of Sunset (red) $9, nice wine. Place is super crowded, families, dogs, gaggles of girls. Beautiful setting, but a bit crowded for us, probably choose a different day next time, they said it’s been non-stop since they opened today. With bars closed & people looking for options, we understand why it’s crowded. Although masks are required to enter building, most people inside (except staff) don’t keep them on even if they don’t have drinks. Social distancing practically non-existent especially inside. Found a quiet shaded spot on porch that provides social distance with road view!

On our visit to the vineyard, we had been celebrating our best friends bachelorette party. There were three girls who started fighting with the bartenders (not related to our party) and because we spoke a different language like these girls we were all grouped together. They kicked us out and were extremely aggressive doing so. More disturbing was before this all happened, the bartenders were taking videos of us dancing . We felt extremely violated and discriminated against. We will never be visiting again.

Drinkable, average wine and decently priced (except for their wine slushies and sangria) by the glass wine but no munchies and you must bring your own: simple appetizers should be offered. Interior has very high noise levels (interior atmosphere is very bar like and a letdown compared to exterior) but patio and porch are quite pleasant when weather permits. Worth an initial visit, especially for visiting family and friends but I wouldn't go out of my way for regular visits.

Was Turned Away At The Parking Lot. Reservations Were Not Allowed At This Location. We Drove 2 Hours, brought $70 Worth of Food With Us and were still turned away. You should update your FB page with updates when you are at Full Capacity or have Events Taking Up The Entire Venue, especially because you don't accept reservations

Only giving this place two stars because I enjoyed the wine. Outside of that the cannoli truck on lot served pumpkin cannolis that gave two of my friends food poisoning.

I came here with 3 others to enjoy some wine on a Thursday afternoon. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as a food truck on premise. The guava sangria was good, a bit tart, but had great chunks of fruit in it. The bottles of wine are a bit expensive, around $30, but that is expected at a winery. The folks inside were so friendly and happy to give recommendations as well as explanations of the wine. I'd recommend a stop in.

Great vineyard, convenient location for people to meet. I have been here several times and, I have always had a great experience. There are some snacks for purchase (cheese, crackers, and some fruits). You are also welcome to bring your own food/snacks. There is a ton of outdoor seating (more than what I have seen in the past). But, there is also a good amount of seating inside. Often there are food trucks on-site on the weekends and sometimes live entertainment and other activities you can sign up to do. Many times this location is bustling and popular with all ages and groups of people.
