Went with my wife. I had a burger, which was delicious. Wife had cod which was alright. The 2 stars are for the service. While people are friendly and while I understand mistakes can be made, there is a professional way to address this. People who were seated 20 minutes after we did our order were not only served before us, but finished eating by the time we received our food. Kitchen. Basically forgot to make our food and our weitress didn't do much of a follow up. When we brought it up after being avoided, then the kitchen started. The weitress was telling us it's not her fault, but that's not the right answer. It's teamwork. The proper this g to do is to apologize for the team, and offer a costless side like extra fries, or rings, or a rebate... Don't tell me it's not your fault... Specially if I am being polite, just apologize on behalf of the team and see with the manager if you can make it up...

Hidden gem. Most of restaurants were closed and open were overbooked. This place doesn't look fancy or modern outside and inside but the service is very good. Delicious food, big menu, great portions. Highly recommend this historical family owned local place.

I was looking forward for an amazing meal when in Gaspe, I asked some locals for a good restaurant and Adams was top 3, I guess for local it is a great greasy spoon, a plate does not consist only of the main protein, but all elements as a whole, come on guys don't you watch one of these millions tv food show. I ordered one of the most expensive plate, my veggies were from a frozen bag, salad was from a 50% special liquidation from nearby Provigo, a scallop was missing from the plate, Google review photo posted from owner show otherwise, do not waste your time or money unless McDonald's is closed.

I quite like the ambiance here, it is a mom & pop diner that offers a variety of breakfast and brunch entrees. The service is very friendly and the food is very reasonably priced. Would love to go back. I just returned to Restaurant Adams for my birthday, and WOW! I receive a free meal with dessert of the day! It was delish! The server was excellent and although it was very busy we received our orders in very good time. Highly recommend going here if you visit Gaspe.

Great food at a great price. No wait time, service was quick, wine pour was generous (hey it's not fancy but I great value). I actually enjoy this more than the other near by restaurant. We had the seafood poutine, which tasted great, was big and had a lot of shimps, scallops and some lobster! The seafood spaghetti was also similarity loaded and large portion The maple salmon and pan fried cod were very nice and reasonably portioned. I was considering a 4 star rating but since the prices were very reasonable (and the wine pour generous!) I'll bump it up to 5! If your in the area, want good food at a good price, don't want to wait 2 hours, and don't care about the decore, come try this! I came because of the previous hidden gem review and I totally agree. This place is a hidden gem.

Expensive everywhere in Gaspe! It's like gas prices in Québec province and in Gaspe! We wonder if there is collusion between Gaspé restaurant owners for the prices! Any meal that includes lobster or seafood plays in the $ 40 for the dish. Yet we are at the heart of the fishing resource. Probably a way to welcome tourists … Anyway, the filet of cod meunière was "only" 19.30 $ and the plate presented was copious : salad, vegetables, rice and ... a good piece of cod filet. Good. The service is intended but, that evening, it was missing a waitress obviously. The waitresses present worked tirelessly, going from one table to another in a fast and incessant waltz. Clients may complain because, with an extra waitress - so, not an exorbitant cost for the boss! - customers would wait less to receive their meal and, above all, to pay at the end of the meal. Overuse of staff is never a good solution to profits. The benches could be refreshed. The decor is simple, reminiscent of the '50s. The restaurant is adjacent to the RODEWAY INN, the new name of the Adams Motel and therefore, was an integral part of the Adams motel restaurant. A decent dinner, nothing to call his mother or to tear his shirt.
