The view is amazing and they got alot of things to do during the summer like music show 3 days per week starting at 7pm with local groups, activity for kids, life-size battleship game, 7 building to visit because it is also a museum, they also got a boutique souvenirs with all kind of great stuff made locally and much more!

I stumbled upon this jewel of Canadian history. The artifacts and knowledge of the volunteers was impressive. Surrounded by the beauty of Gaspe was an added bonus. I highly recommend visiting if you ever find yourself in the Gaspe region.

It's a big space that can be visited in over an hour if you take the time to see everything, probably more. We had little time otherwise we would have stayed longer. In a general store re-enactment, a passionate guide told us about several things and was very proud to show us an amazing artifact: a butter jar adorned with multiple swastikas !!! (Original) Belle découverte. On y est allé sans s’attendre à rien et on a été très agréablement surpris. C’est un grand espace qui se visite en plus d’une heure si on prend le temps de tout voir, probablement plus. Nous avions peu de temps sinon nous y serions restés plus longtemps. Dans une reconstitution de magasin général, un guide passionné nous a parlé de plusieurs choses et était très fier de nous montrer un artefact étonnant: une jarre à beurre ornée de multiples svastikas!!!
