Great little place by the water

Pricey but GOOD!
Delicious food. Fresh and so tasty. Best meal I have had in awhile. Amazing service. Friendly ladies. Melissa and (Elly or Eileen) sorry not sure which. But both ladies were awesome! Added bonus amazing view!
Food and Service were amazing. Amanda the dining room manager was fabulous from the get go. The two handsome gentlemen that look like twins, and to all the other lovely staff we met.. keep up the good work :) The view was stunning, great wine selection, and the tar tar was to die for !! We are already planning our next trip back !!!! ✌????
First time we ate here was years ago, for dinner - and a buffet breakfast! This visit was the included breakfast option as part of our stay - and it was quite tasty! Great way to start the day! I'd love to come back for lunch next time! Did I mention the incredible waterfront views in the dining room? Beautiful!
Showed up with my wife at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation she made. Albeit apparently she made it with the front desk, who didn’t know to transfer her to the restaurant showing an absolutely break down in organization and communications within. To top that off she says she can squeeze us in just before shoving us to the side to seat “her 530 reservation”. Their lack of competence should not warrant my family wasting their time and being treating like trash at the door. Hosting isn’t a very difficult role, find someone who can do it properly would be my suggestion.
The Sea Food Platter was described as an "Entree: breaded calamari shrimp and scallops deep fried and served with dipping sauce and a side of coleslaw and macaroni salad" I took a photo... smaller than anticipated and it tasted like it was from box frozen. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the service was good, the patio view was good, and I enjoyed the wine. The food not so much.
Not impressed. Chicken cesar wrap was a frozen sliced breaded Chicken breast same as the one used on the chicken sandwich. Chicken tasted like fish. It was so quiet not a friendly atmosphere and staff were not very friendly other than the hostess who seated us .
Absolutely amazing location staff and food. Very nice restaurant for a “nice” / date night meal.
The view made this place. Food not so great.
The worst service and horrible food EVER. This is a warning. Very expensive.
If you go to the Gananoque Inn you can get breakfast here for free. Yay.
The food was good and we really enjoyed our view. They really have the best views. There was also live music which made our experience significantly better. Will definitely go back if we were in town!
Certainly a lovely view but if you plan on dining a little later in the evening, bring a flashlight. Headed out about 8:15 on a Sunday, the sunset was slowly fading but you could still see the other diners out on the patio. By the time the meal came, we were eating in the dark! The restaurant only invested in a few white lights on the corner posts of the patio; if you weren’t sitting under one, you could not see your food! I literally had to take out my iPhone flashlight to see what I was eating! iPhone has been very generous with the amount of light in that last picture. There were no overhead lights or lights near the door to walk back in (safety hazard there), candles or even those battery operated ones from Dollarama! Unbelievable, eating in the dark and then paying that much for dinner! Secondly, the menu says you can switch out a side of fries for a salad for an extra cost. Fries were served with almost everything there [in general]. Upon ordering, the waitress never asked if I’d like a different side, as they normally do. If you say you don’t want a side of fries, offer another choice! Received: fries. Lovely. The service was not that great. We were asked how dinner was going when we couldn’t see our food, could barely see each other. Perhaps I’ll be back during lunchtime but a later dinner, no thank you.
Diner breakfast, don't expect anything fancy. Great service, though.
Unfortunate experience. We were under a bit of time pressure as we were going to the theatre which we mention to the person who sat us. Had a wait for someone to take our orders. We ran out of time and ultimately got my wrap to go and ate it in the theatre parking lot. Food was just OK. Service was poor and kind of unpleasant. Perhaps it was foolish to go with a short time frame but as the closest place to the theatre this should not be something they could not handle. I have been to several restaurants since ontario opened back up and this experience was the only poor one so far.
Food and service were excellent. We had a great time. Enjoyed the view and had a wonderful dinner

Picturesque, great menu and lovely staff.
Can't believe the other 5 star review that says they loved it so much that they will be back for this from 5 hrs away! The restaurant stinks with a mix of javel and musty mold. The food is unedible, everything we ordered tasted awful! Mcdonalds is better than this. All of us felt sick afterwords. You want a wow dining experience go to the ivy lea club.
During this COVID time, my husband and l were disappointed to see how poorly the tables and chairs were being sanitized. Upon arrival the host gave a quick wipe of the table. I asked if she would wipe down the arms of the chairs as well, to which she responded, "which chairs do you want to sit on"?. There were only four chairs at the table, so all should be cleaned. Later l noticed the same procedure was being applied to other tables. The same cloth was being used on every table with no disinfectant spray being applied in between and never were the chairs being cleaned. Hopefully this post will serve to make the management aware of this and follow up with better training. It would be a shame to see this lovely restaurant closed.
We visited this lovely gem on the long weekend. The USP of this place is its location......It has a breathtaking view! The hospitality was good. As it's covid times , we were apprehensive about Sanitization. But we were relieved that the staff made sure things are sanitized regularly....everyone was wearing masks n all. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit there again.
So Lovely! Beautiful outdoor patio overlooking picturesque view of St. Laurence. Careful attention to fresh ingredients, complementary flavours and contrasting textures. We chose all seafood dishes (pan fried scallops with mussels, the pan-fried walleye on a bed of Kale, and the tempura crab with manicotti pasta), all cooked to perfection (we find that many restaurants have difficulty in working with seafood). This restaurant was a true relief for your taste buds! My only suggestion would be to increase the portion size of the appetizer. We will most definitely be returning.
We waited over an hour to get our food. When we got our food, the seafood pasta we ordered was cold AND the shrimp was raw!! When I asked the waitress she said “isn't shrimp served raw usually?”. I was shocked. We asked them to switch the dish over to the bacon avocado chicken burger and they just come out with the chicken burger without any Bacon or fries! After asking the waitress whats going on with our orders today, she just said that they are tired and want to go home. This place is so disorganized and the food is overpriced. Definitely not coming back to this place.
(Translated) Excellent dinner Very good product I highly recommend, very professional service (Original) Excellent diner De très bon produit Je recommande fortement, service très professionnel
Sad very sad looking resto and not clean. Mc Donald is much better. Do not waste your money. Only the view is great if you can find a place on the deck. I dont think this resto is up to code.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience here last week. We had made reservations in the afternoon for 6pm that day, for 19 people (4 families with kids). When we arrived that evening, we were told 'sorry, we can't accommodate you. Our kitchen staff will be too overwhelmed." It was very frustrating to be told two different things within a couple of hours, and not very nice to be stuck looking for somewhere to go as a large group last minute like that. Thankfully, another restaurant down the road welcomed us and provided a great experience and wonderful food for our whole group.
We went for a March weekend get-a-way, wanted a little break from the city with out having to drive 5 hours. Took a chance on the Gananoque Inn as they had a special since it was off season. We had the best time, the dinner at Watermark beat any meal we've had in the city, the dinner staff was absolutely lovely and the atmosphere and view was incredible. If you need a break, want to eat amazing food and be well taken care of this is your place. We'll be back in September.
Food is ok. Patio has great views of the St Lawrence. It may be different under covid, there are two restaurants but it seems they have combined the kitchens.
