I've been here about 10 times since they reopened and receive consistently very slow service and the prices are just too much for what you get. $18 for an order of wings is a little extreme for a town that lost 6000 jobs last year. I just walked out after waiting 15 mins and waving at the server to come over with no response. This isn't the first time either. Went in thirsty and left thirsty. It's unfortunate that this establishment is still struggling but the prices and service reflect that. There's not even a happy hour. There's no effort here to get people through the doors and it really sucks because they had so much support from this community to reopen.

Wings here are amazing, many different beers on tap which is always a big plus. TVs around the bar so you can usually find a spot to watch the games. It's a little pricey compared to before but it's worth it to make it out on their special nights!

First time there since it reopened. They have done a really good job making the place nice and the food was very good. They have good options for people with dietary restrictions and are quite accommodating. Friendly staff too boot. Will come back for sure.

I went into Paddy McSwiggins for the first time in many years yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. I had come relax and write, in hopes to catch some live music but due to cover regulations, I was politely informed there would not be any live music for the evening. But I decided to stay anyway and I am so glad I did. From the great service, cuisine and captivating historical decor, I really enjoyed everything about the atmosphere. I will definitely be returning to this place and recommending it to my friends. Cheers

When I sat down and ordered an eggs benny for a late lunch I did not expect to be blown away with the best eggs Benny I've ever had, but here I am flabbergasted and writing a review because the world must know of this delectable experience that leaves you wanting more. At the end I found myself highly considering ordering a second one, even though I'm trying to watch my weight!

After three years of being down and out, Patty McSwiggins is back everyone and what a treat it is. My first impression walking in, the outside is still under construction so don't be afraid! They're open ! Walk in and wow , a new modern, yet traditional feeling Irish Pub atmosphere. Was greeted with cheer and enthusiasm, sat at the bar and right away the number of taps was pleasing to me. However I am a creature of habit so I had the Ricard's Red and it was cold and not flat as I have found in many other establishments to be flat and taste like pennies out of the tap. They have their taps dialled in it would seem. I of course had the fish and chips, how could I not ? It is the benchmark for Irish pubs, and let me tell you , it did not disappoint ! Crispy , the fries look hand cut , and the gravy was delicious. For me it's the small things; presentation, service, and the fact they have their malt vinegar in bottles instead of packets like I've had in many "Irish" themed pubs. Watch out in September as they are going to be starting up live entertainment on weekends and really iron out their happy hour specials. I highly recommend this establishment , I will definitely be back again !

We were here for an hour and a half and didnt get our food. We had two tables be served and go before us. We were not offered a high chair for our baby, we were given attitude when we asked where our food was. I'd come back if we were treated better next time.

Review was from early Dec 2020 Great job with reno and live entertainment Positive Wings are better than they were, a few months ago. Good job Negative I was soo excited to see pizza on the menu. Ordered the Canadian. Zero taste and the crust was super dry. I was surprised that Paddy's was serving it. I told the waitress, about the pizza. She apologized, but we still had to pay full price for it (not cool). We ate the wings and left over half of the pizza on the table.

I ordered 2 long islands, singles not doubles, and it was $27!?! They got rid of their pool table and dance floor, no music playing, and the food was just meh, especially for the price. Insanely overpriced for the quality.

Pretty standard bar, only went for wing night so I have no idea how good the rest of the food is. Looks a little pricy for bar food, but its fort mac so you can't expect cheap... dill wings were pretty good (they use dill popcorn seasoning) and the lemon pepper wings were pretty good, albeit overpowering (they use lemon pepper seasoning, no real lemon or lemon juice from what I could tell)

I live near Paddy's and it's a spot my wife go to often for dinner. When I mentioned breakfast at Patty's my daughter always wants to go. They have a good selection on tap and even Strongbow. The food is great with a wide selection. Live music most Friday and Saturdays even local DJs play. I will always suggest to my friends to go to this pub.

Nice place, attentive service. The stew and hot wings were excellent, the burger was good but nothing special. The problem is the price, i.e. wings cost $18 and the draft beer were no deal. There are lots of places that are more reasonable with decent food

I'm a fan of Paddy's, pre wildfire. It has finally reopened sort of, after being closed for over 3 years because Wildfire, Drama, insurance, Drama, drama. Based on my visit during their "soft opening" 3 stars is generous and is done to not drag down their rating too much as pre-fire Paddy's was a fine establishment. It is also based largely on the manager on duty at the time. We (2 people) sat down at a table at 2:00 and were promptly greeted by a server with three copies of the breakfast menue. Its an Irish Bar so I ordered a Guiness, they had none in stock. I asked what stouts are available and the waitress left to check and bring us the full menu. In a comical demonstration of poor management we were approached by different wait staff twice for drink orders while we waited. The original waitress then returned with a list of the beers stocked, nothing remotely Irish. Fine they are newly reopened shurg I'll have a Belgian and do you have fries and wings? (still just have a breakfast menue).After we ordered we were approached by a third waitress for our order Food was fine and served in a reasonable time frame although ultimately a bit on the pricey side but Fort McMurray what isnt a bitvpricey. It then came time to settle up and oh they are only able to take cash. While this was never menthioned by any of the staff there was a small whiteboard by the front door, none of us saw it. Seriously we are only taking cash should be the first words out the wait staffs mouths. Somewhat grudgingly I went to the atm and there is of course a hefty surcharge to withdraw money. The tab is 42.50 so I attempt to withdraw a 50 and the machine tells me it can only dispense 20s. So I key in 60 and the machine spits out two 20s and tells me its reserves are too low for the full amount. Now only having $40 to clear a 42.50 bill I burrow my friends change a five and went up to bar to settle up. I am willing to excuse everything up to this point and would have had I not had to deal with the absolute rudeness that followed. I put the tab and cash down at bar and menthioned the ATM is running low on cash and apoligise for not being able to leave a larger tip as the issues noted were managements issue not the server. I was then interupted by a woman claiming to be the manager who haughtly stated that the cash only status was clearly stated at the door and I should be more prepared. She then picked up my tab and stated " I see you have had two pints with us, have you had a couple with someone else" I took offense to this and responded No are you implying that you think I am intoxicated? For the record I wasn't. She mumbled something under her breath and then made a veiled threat that I shouldn't be making a scene wearing the shirt I was as I was not representing my organization well. I asked for clarification as I had not raised my voice and she was being far more agresive than me. I got no clarrification so considered asking for the owner but as we had a movie to see, I thanked my server and left. May be back in a few weeks may not afterall not like there hasn't been other places to get wings these past three years.

My husband and I chose to try breakfast here today and it was awesome!! Hands down the best bacon in town! It was nice that the owners came by to say Hi, the only reason it's not a 5 star review is the service. We received better service from waitresses from other sections and the owners than our own waitress, and it was not busy, nor did she have a full section. Other than that, we very much enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning with the family.

Just want to say how disappointed I am with the terrible customer my husband and I just experienced over lunch. We we’re excited to check out the newly reopened Paddy’s so planned a lunch date there today. I ordered a water to drink he ordered a beer. We then ordered our meals. He asked for the beef dip I ordered the half order of wings for wing Wednesday that was advertised on their menu. the waitress comes back and informs my husband they don’t have the beef dip (bummer but no big deal) he then orders the fish and chips and the waitress leaves. As my husband is drinking his beer he mentions that it tastes off, I tried it and agreed it didn’t taste good at all. We kindly ask the waitress for a new drink. A few minutes later she comes back and tells me she can’t do the wing special as it doesn’t start until 4. I explained to her due to recent surgery I have dietary restrictions and can only eat a small amount at a time so asked if she could make an exception especially since it didn’t say this on the menu nor did she tell me this when I ordered. At this point she is clearly annoyed with us and being rather rude and asks if I would like to speak to the manager. I didn’t really I just wanted to order lunch I didn’t think it should be so difficult. The manger then comes over and tells me the same thing and that they can’t possibly make the exception as they are already portioned out. Hello I want less not more so give me the half order and save the other half for someone else lol but nope they couldn’t possibly do that so apparently after being closed for 3 years they would rather see 2 customers walk out and lose the business then to do the right thing. Wow is all I can say!!
