Steak sandwich is awesome. Strip loin was cooked absolutely perfect with lots and lots of mushrooms and onions. Bannock was awesome. taco salad was incredible. Loaded with toppings and a massive portion. Everything we ordered was great and an exceptional value. We will be ordering again soon!

Amazing food, service and staff. Every time I've gone the food just blows me away. When entertainment is live it's such an amazing environment and overall just a great vibe. If you're new in town or just visiting this is definitely a place to visit.

57 North Kitchen is definitely a must. COVID safe, very clean and pleasant restaurant. The place has a very good looking interior, with heated patio seating and a brewery you need to enjoy. Besides the great beer you can experience, you can play billiards, enjoy live music and amazing food. I ordered chicken wings, their nachos with beef, steak bites and it was all made to perfection. My only regret was not picking the brisket for the nachos. I had the spicy vindaloo, it came highly recommend by a friend and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, we had a very happy waitress and made our days to be honest. She was always on top of our drinks, making sure was good with my clients. Having said that, this a great location to hold business lunch or a special event. I hope I get to experience a dinner next time I am in Fort McMurray. Please let me know what you think. The waitress was friendly and lovely. The food was fantastic! The manager took us on a private tour of the brewing facility. He was very knowledgeable, it was great to see. This was the only restaurant we went to twice while in town.

Always a great experience at 57 North, i have been going there since 2012 and always stop in at least 2 a week. I must say though the "millionaires steak" from 2014/2015 was out standing, maybe somebody could call the previous owners and get it back on the menu.

Tried the beer battered shrimp ... so so good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked inside. The beer batter was light and fluffy, beautiful taste not too oily or greasy. It's a must try item. I'll deff be back.

The staff here is fantastic. They're fun, the gentleman who was our waiter was very high energy and was belting out Bon Jovi tunes by the end of the night. I had the loaded poutine, great flavor combo with the fresh ingredients playing nicely off the rich cheese and sauce. The vindaloo was the only knock. As beef curries go it was flavorful and the beef was cooked to a beautiful medium but it was not a vindaloo by any stretch of the imagination. If you keep the recipe change the name to mild curry. When I eat a vindaloo I should break a sweat, I should be reaching for my drink, I should be wondering if the extacy of the heat now will lead to regret and bargaining with God the next day. Now they also dropped some items off the menu that they have had in the past. Memorable dishes like the elk meatloaf which was phenomenal when they had it and was worth the admittedly high price and going out of your way to get. All this said, I understand, this place is centrally located in Fort McMurray which isn't exactly the flavor (or spice) capital of the world, which is why reworking their vindaloo would make this place really stand out as a go to spot as opposed to a "Hey let's try this" spot.

Food Menu is outstanding and service here is excellent. Went for a 2nd time in the same week and restaurant was closed at 11pm while google says open until Midnight. Pls update hours guys it’s difficult for shift workers when we take a cab to your business based on google hours and arrive to find you are closed. No hours of operation on the door, no apology from the gentleman on the phone for any inconvenience. Easy fixes, hopefully someone takes the time. Thx

Was up in Ft McMurry and looking for a place to eat, found this driving by looked good. Tried it out and the ribs were very good and lots of them. Beers are brewed on site, tried the wheat beer very good. If I go back to Ft McMurry I will be returning.

I placed an order with them and left very specific instructions due to a severe allergy that I have. Upon receiving the order, I immediately noticed that not one of those instructions were acknowledged or followed, leaving me unable to eat the food I had ordered. VERY unimpressed with the level of service. Definitely won't order from them again.

Cut my lip on a chipped glass. Waitress was upset, and showed the manager. The manager took 15 minutes to come to the table and asked to see my cut for herself. Despite the blood on the napkin. She then took the beer (which I didn't drink anyway) off of the tab. This seemed like a hassle to her. The sip of beer I had and the wrap was delicious, but the level of service received was unacceptable. *Edit* Met with one of the owners today, who invited me in to talk about my experience. He assured me that the experience was unacceptable, and that the Manager on duty broke procedure with the way she handled the situation. He also told me that the staff were educated on the processes and have been made aware of the level of service expected from the public. He did not have to do this. I am upping my rating to reflect this, and again... Mention that the food was amazing.

Great servers. It has taken about a year and a half to go from the worst and most talked about terrible service in town, to one of the best places to enjoy a night out. Brandon and Leigh have been exceptional every time we are there, and they bring a lot to the business. Thank you - to the management for recognizing what needed to change, it is the right direction! Thank you - Brandon for the amazing service and personality you brought to the table (literally!!!) last night. And....we love the live music, too!!!

Ordered from skip the dish but can't blame them for the quality of the food and it was not great. I ordered the bison burger with fries and gravy on the side but got my food with gravy all over and under my burger which made it all soggy. Wild Rose was also soggy, way under cooked, we only had a few bites and we had enough, very greasy and soggy. My girlfriend ordered the bigfoot and was not impressed. Might be better if you eat in but should be much better on delivery or just don't offer delivery. ????

Awesome food here. I highly recommend their Bison Burgers and Beaver Tails for dessert. If you are looking for a good IPA they have a nice one on tap called the Journeyman IPA, it has a nice rich hoppy flavour that goes down smooth.

The place looks very nice. The pool table and days is a welcome amenity. I had the BBQ pulled pork sliders and they were delicious. I also had the narcos but substituted the tortilla chips for their kettle chips and that made it ten times better. Not a big fan of their beer but I'm not a fan of many craft beer to begin with.

Went today for the first time. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but we were massively surprised given Fort Macs history of hit and miss food. Upscale pub food done with care and attention. The bison burger was not overcooked and filled with flavour. Chicken wrap with Sask berry compote was a definite hit. Hand made burgers with creative toppings that work. Oh... and the drinks were priced correctly :) Looking forward to going again.

Stopped in with my coworker for dinner, had no idea this place was open again. I will be back, yes, I will be back. Had the ribs and they were best ribs I have ever had. Cooked to perfection. My coworker had the pizza and wings and was equally as good. Highly recommended!

My second time at the restaurant was last night. Food was great, but the service was an absolute disaster. The place wasn't to busy. All the booths were taken. The table next to us arrived after we did. They received their drinks before us, and even their food quite a bit of time before us. When questioned the excuse was something about some trouble in the kitchen. Our food would be ready in another 10-15 minutes. I even had to go up to the bar to get my own refills as the waitress never would come by or even ask. After the table was cleared we asked for a dessert menu which she said she'll bring one over right away. When she did finally came back over, and without a menu she asked, "anything else for tonight?"

I have been through Ft.Mac a number of times in my life and today it was reccomended that I try 57 North. We had an amazing server Ashley that helped us sort out our food and help with our indecisiveness. This is by far the best service I have ever recieved in any of my trips through here. The food was also fantastic. 57 North is a total package

Great burger and beers, I had the true north bison burger. It was very good. Great flavor and nice and juicy. Really enjoyed the code red beer but wasn’t a huge fan of the Stoney mountain lager. The service was top notch. It has the hours posted as closed but they are open for in person dining with great safety protocols in place.

My first visit, I was immedielty impressed with the atmosphere, it was quite empty when I arrived, but the large boothes, and stage really pulls the place together, and encourages a good time, even when nothing is going on. Open for just 8 weeks and a nice addition to Fort McMurray. We have a brew pub again! They let me substitute their tasty bannock for the bun of the True North bison burger. It was a good idea! No, the substitution is not officially on the menu (but they will indulge you if you ask). If you want, they will give you a side of bannock with your meal. Unlike the scraggly sweet potato fries you find in most restaurants, these were larger, crispier and better. They're getting their brewing license this week, so looking forward to some locally-inspired beers in the near future.
