Whoever designed their menu, is a pure cooking genius. My boyfriend and I have travelled to France and Italy together and have yet to have a better pasta dish than we had last night in Rainer, MN. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Do not overlook this gem of a place! Great service and top notch food.

Ate dinner here on a Sunday evening. Very good food, superb service. We had the salmon and the shrimp and grits, both were very good. The salad was exceptional with bits of mint and basil - great idea. The garlic toast was crunchy and tasty. We joked with our waiter Bryant about their opening for us on Monday since we so enjoyed our meal. To our surprise he asked about our choices in food, found and recommended another restaurant that would be open on Monday. How great is that! Thanks to Bryant and the staff at Rainy Lake Grill for an unforgettable and wonderful experience!

Possibly the best kept secret (That isn't much of a secret anymore) in Borderland. We are definitely one of the 'regulars' at the RL Grill. The standard menu has something for everyone and the specials are always worth trying. This is a 'must visit' place in Rainier! Update - had the daily special, beef pho. Wow. So good!

Husband and I were looking for a local nearby eatery after exploring the park near Rainy Lake Visitors Center. Rainy Lake Grill fit the bill and had some pretty high ratings already. We popped over and tried some Saganaki to start and enjoyed 2 of the specials on for that day, Dill Chicken Sandwich & Mango Shimp Tacos. Everything was delicious and the server was very friendly and helpful. The interior was bright with lots of windows, but was pretty small though, but only a couple of other people were dining while we visited, so thankfully they weren't too busy. I could see how that might be troublesome to others if the Grill was packed and the patrons were in a hurry. Chill out at Rainy Lake Grill!

The food here is really good! The problem we had is it took about an hour to actually get the food, and nobody who worked there seemed to know what was going on. I wouldn’t recommend waiting until you’re hungry to come here since you certainly will be by the time you get your food. Other than that, it’s a nice restaurant in a neat location.

All very delish. The best Avocado BLT and Mango shrimp tacos I have ever had. The gyro looked amazing also. My hubby Lance said it's the best he has had. Very great prices for lots of food. Well worth it. The new remodel looks fabulous.

Great food and service. I had wings and garbage pizza. The food was superb (best pizza I've had in years) and the waitress was fantastic (stopped by to check on us a few times but didn't hover and make us feel rushed- there is a fine line) keep up the great work. Hope to be back soon!

This is a quality food establishment. Loved it so much we went twice in one week.. far more selections than average burger and fries. Salmon, pizzas, avocado stacks..we had mango shrimp tacos.

Small restaurant, with a big menu. Homemade food, the pizza looked really good - wish I would’ve ordered that instead. We were just here for a quick lunch but the dinner menu looked better. Our food wasn’t anything special. Would’ve liked a more attentive server but overall our experience was okay. Very quaint little restaurant, I would recommend if you’re looking for a dinner meal without a fancy atmosphere. Will most likely be back to try out the pizza! Also they charge an extra 3% for using credit or debit so I’d suggest bringing cash if you can!

Don't be fooled by the size of the place. The staff are outstanding and helpful. The thing about it though us the food. They never fail to impress with flavor and quality.
