Love this winery! I have been a club member for two years and last week I was reminded why! Fantastic wines! The views are stunning and the service is always top knotch. Krista runs the member services and doesn't miss a beat. I felt very proud to be a member and show off this beautiful winery to my friend on our last minute visit from the coast. Can't wait to return!

Audaciously Me !

Had one of our most memorable meals in the Okanagan here. The food is fantastic, service is attentive and the view from the patio is gorgeous.

My wife and I were in Kelowna to celebrate our mini-moon and were super excited to check out our favorite winery in Canada! We found out about this wine while dining at Salmon and Bannok in Vancouver a few years ago, highly recommend that place btw. We really enjoy all the wines they were pouring for the tasting while we were there. The people working there were also all very friendly. Though we went on a Monday and their main restaurant on site was closed, guess we have to go back to try it, they did have a cafe open. We got a meat plate, cheese plate, and two fry bread/bannok tacos, it was all excellent. Would highly recommend this place, great wine, friendly service, good food, and all first peoples owned! Looking forward to coming here again to restock in their wine (we are from US and can’t get it back home) and try out their main restaurant.

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio overlooking the lake. The food was delicious...every dish that we ordered. The sevice relaxed but efficient and our server was very friendly and professional. We had a tasting after lunch and purchased some wine. A completely lovely experience.

Excellent. Great service. Love the downstairs spirits.

Very nice winery, great views, unique art. I enjoyed hearing about all the meanings of the native names. They gave us great service and the server was very knowledgeable. I thought that their wine was young, and I don't like hearing "it will be much better with some age". I think wine should be released when it is ready to drink and then cellared only to make it better.

Robert Schlein

This place is amazing! The person who helped us gave us a master class on how to sample wine!

paola Little

Love it! Always a great tasting experience. Full disclosure, we are wine club members (it's one of the best clubs going)...they have a great offering of varietals, and definitely have a wine to suit your taste. I dare you to find a better value white blend than the hee-hee-tel-kin. It's fantastic.

Was turned away at Quails Gate for dinner one summer evening, but after sampling the IWW food menu I can say I'm glad. Got to the winery and my girlfriend ordered the ribs while I had the salmon dish, the healthy servings of which were delivered in a reasonable amount of time and was well presented. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ribs were especially moist and tender. The highlight of the dinner was the cheese and seafood board which had an assortment of offerings that easily kept your taste buds fully engaged. The Merlot and the Hee-Hee Tel Kin were excellent pairing for our meals choices. My only complaint is it looked like they were understaffed (although the service was still excellent) and because it's a fairly new restaurant the menu was a little sparse. Definitely check it out.

Great wines ???????? Amazing views

The food at Red Fox Club. Was very good especially the chips and Bannock. The restaurant manager/ waitress was present but overshare. Beautiful view and great atmosphere. After lunch we went for a wine tasting. Nothing provided to cleans the palet between wines. Usually a cracker, toast or at least water has been provided to us in the past. Not impressed with the flavors of any of the five provided. We where looking forward to getting a few nice bottles to take home. Ended up with none. With reconciliation you have captive audience. I know we love to support indigenous businesses wherever we can. It felt like the write ups about the wines where way off.

We were really looking forward to doing a tasting at Indigenous after so many glowing reviews. We arrived and to our surprise it was not busy at all, only two other groups. We were told to pick any table outside and wait and they will be doing a flight of wines. We were greeted very bitterly, not at all welcoming or friendly. We were immediately made to feel uncomfortable. We waited for more than 10 minutes without anyone saying anything or even acknowledging us. One employee appeared to be cleaning up inside appearing not to take notice of us while the other after serving the flight of tastings to a group of 2 stood talking to them the entire time ... as if there were no other customers in the winery. We eventually decided to just leave. Very disappointed in this customer service experience. I still don’t know what the wine tastes like.

Spectacular views paired with tasty wines. What more can you ask for!!

Went here for the wine tasting and it was great! At $5, you get to taste 5 different wines and the portions were very decent. If you purchase a bottle of wine, the tasting fee will be waived. The lady who served us was very friendly and even let us try a wine that wasn't on the tasting menu (which we ended up buying as well). She also gave is a bit of history on the place and told us the winery was opened about 4 years ago and is the only one that is fully indigenous owned and on indigenous land. The only thing I didn't like was we couldn't see the view of the vines.

Steve Sobczak

This is a really special experience and a winery with beautiful wines. I highly recommend you make this an essential stop during your West Kelowna wine tour.

Irene Pleskach

Very nice Winery with a view of Okanagan Lake. Our server was very knowledgeable and help guide us through their selection of wines. There was another one in particular that I was interested in tasting however it was not available, but she did find me an alternative that I also enjoyed based off of my tastes. Going to enjoy our bottle at home :-)

Paul Campbell

Love it. One of my favorite wineries in the Okanagan.

3 star comparing to other wineries in the area. You are limited in the wine tasting to their certain specials of the day. The view is towards mountains.

Bannock Bison burger is an experience, one of the best burgers I've ever had. My wife had trout and it was similarly amazing. Wine was good too but outshined by the food, props to the kitchen.

Petra Leinemann

The pork belly appy, was delightful.

Danielle Harshenin

Indigenous is a supurb prize winning winery. I hate to admit it, since they have won so many awards, but I only liked one of the wines I tasted. The building is spectacular and the view is amazing during daylight hours. Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The small gift shop is lovely. It features merchandise beautifully decorated with native artwork. We enjoyed a light charcuterie with fresh bannock. All in all I do recommend Indigenous Winery experience .

I absolutely loved their wines, all really great but my favourites which came home with me were their muscat and sparkling. Both are very light and sweet summer wines. I'll be ordering more online as I couldn't drive home 4 hours with their entire collection in my trunk. Looking forward to trying even more!

We went to dinner at the Indigenous with 2 other couples last Saturday. To say the least ,thank goodness for the company and the wine. The dinner was absolutely awful. We had the mushroom appi which was $16 it was probably 5"round with a few mushrooms and a slight taste of some kind of fish.Thinking our dinner would be better....not so much.Very over priced, was very disappointed. Will not be back or ever recommend them.Just lost 6 customers.....

Brynn Beckett

Wine is delicious, as was the vodka tasting. Dave was a delight!! Very welcoming and pet friendly :)

Kayla Soriano

One of my favourite wineries in the Okanagan hands down! The restaurant is so excellent! Food is so amazing, wine is fantastic and the service is always so great. My boyfriend and I always frequent this place. We love it and recommend to everyone looking for a great experience.!

Rick Windsor

Great every time we've been here! Some of the best wines in the area, and a nice place to hang out.

Michael Gordon

Beautiful views from this newly opened winery and restaurant. We bought 5 bottles of wine from here since we looked it so much from the wine tasting. For me, environment was not as grand and big as other wineries like Quail's Gate or Mission Hill, but still pretty good, perched atop the hill overlooking Lake Okanagan.

Lauren Pinkney

Very bad services and attitude while purchasing. The two days experience is not pleasant. But we still tips them $10 tips for their services. The staff does not seems happy working in this winery.

Alissa .R

My wife and I stopped in while spending a few days in kelowna doing some winery tours in the area , in our top 2 was this absolute jewel , the menu was 5 star all the way the views were great , out door dining area was comfortable, warm and inviting, our host - server was so pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly we wish we'd got here name . We have since ordered 2 cases of wine online to keep our supply up throughout the year if your in the kelowna area this winery is a must stop, love the gift shop and I'm really hoping to get another medicine pouch it's really does work , on our next visit I will be sure to take and post several photos!!!

Ellie Hogan

Lunch was excellent, as it was this past spring! Beet salad wonderful, fish cakes great!

Corbett Enders

The experience was nice, the employees were kind, he allowed us to taste 5 reds since one of our party had endured many whites even though she isn't a fan. It was $5 to taste 5 wines. They were all very light bodied reds and on the dryer side. Didn't do it for us but the atmosphere was unique and the lavender attracted many bees!

A prestigious experience at the Inigenous world winery that's located in the heart of the Okanagan. It has a splendid view and warm fires to keep the ambiance alive when the sun goes down. Spectacular place to visit for a local or someone visiting jusy for a couple sips :)

Marc-André Larose

The wine was fantastic and the scenery amazing. The only thing hat ruined my experience was the rude girl serving us. I asked about the art work and she had a bad attitude. My friend then asked about drinking a bottle on the patio and she also had a bad attitude. It really ruined the experience. Especially coming from places like The Hatch and Rollingdale where the interaction was informative, friendly personal and fun! I would tell others to go here and hope that they get a different service experience.

Braanna Kunz

Great wine!

Rochelle Truscott

Beautiful spot for a tasting. Wine on the upper patio. Spirits and charcuterie on the lower patio. A great selection of flavourful wines. Was an impromptu stop and will definitely return!

Sep G.

Very friendly staff, interesting wines, and good little shop. Lunch was excellent and we hope to go back for dinner.

Always enjoy visiting this winery. Would one day love to eat in the restaurant.

I like this place. Feel like I have a shadow. Every time I go somewhere I am asked what I thought of it. ????????????????

Helen Edley

Such a beautiful place. I don't live here but my mother does so I visit frequently I have always wanted to go so we finally did. It's the only fully indigenous winery in all of Canada, and not just wine there are some indigenous crafts for sale as well. The staff were friendly, the place was beautiful. I saw another low rating for not getting to taste a certain wine because it's not open, anyways it's not Baskin Robbins. If you want something very specific maybe purchase it? They give 5 wines for $5 unless you buy something or eat at the restaurant it's free. Wine spoils after opening so it makes sense that they rotate their flavours. We had our 5 and they allowed us a bonus taste of another I was interested in. But as I was going to purchase it and they happened to have an open bottle they allowed a taste. Janice helped us at the tasting table and was super kind and knowledgeable. She also loves what she's doing which makes the experience so much better. She talks with so much pride about the owners and the wines they produce. I will be recommending this winery to everyone and anyone who is coming through.

Linda Weninger

The staff will not treat you well if you are not a wine snob. We went to 11 wineries today and this is the only one we did not enjoy.

Jaqueline M. Echavarria

Simply amazing. The venue, food, wine and service. I love the indigenous influence. It makes it such a unique and special place. Highly recommend a visit and dinner here. It is such great value for your money. If you get a chance, go downstairs to the Red Fox Club for dinner. You would pay double the price for a dinner at another winery, that is just as good here. If you can ask for Marissa to be your server, you will be well taken care of. She is phenomenal. Would highly recommend the following: - Pinot noir - Chardonnay

Clement Zhouk

We really had a great service at Indigenous Winery. The staff is really friendly (loved the dog also) and the products are good.

Patricia Laverty-Rolf

Great little winery andva very nice restsurant.

Nicole VanKampen

Amazing! Best wines, lovely view, friendly staff. Must visit!

Sam Fleming

We just stopped here for a quick wine tasting today, and had a great experience. They're great about telling you exactly what goes into each wine, and the stories of the winery in general. Sure, the wines weren't my favorite (mostly white's and Pinot noir, while I prefer darker reds), but it was well worth our time. Our server even gave us a bunch of great recommendations of other wineries to check out while we're up here!

The food was a delight! Our sous chef Vanessa did an amazing job on our appetizer and main courses, and finished it off with an excellent dessert. Friendly staff & great facility!

We had an excellent lunch here today! we had a flight to catch at 2pm but we didn't want to leave Kelowna without trying this winery (we heard such great things from the locals) we showed up at 11am they don't open till 11:30 on Sundays- the waitress let us sit down anyways and look over the menus, while we waited she brought us waters and the sous chef offered to cook our food early knowing that we were in a rush. Food and wine were delicious, reasonable prices and service was excellent. We will be back! Thanks Indigenous

Kelly Ngo

Breathtaking - a winery and a landmark attraction in one. The Mission Era inspired magnificent architecture alone is worth the visit. Cannot recommend more.

Great experience! Prompt and friendly customer service, and I found some of my new favourite red wines! The location has a beautiful view and I feel so connected to the Indigenous culture represented there.

Brenden Keene

Stopped in after paintballing next door. It had a great vibe, staff were knowledgeable and great to talk to. They had yoga going on downstairs as well. The wines tasted excellent and the prices were reasonable.

Patrick Wong

The wines are superb, have yet to taste one not to my liking. For a real treat try the Simo. Red Fox restaurant has excellent food and service, as well as a great patio in summer. And because of the extreme quality in product and service I became a member of their wine club, enjoying all the perks along with it.

Kathleen Hamel

Very friendly staff, knowledgable about the wines being poured. Will defiantly be back to try the restaurant, has a beautiful view!

Great food. Our hostess made a fabulous recommendation; Red Fox Board with Bannock Plate Bread. Yum!

Chad Buchfink

Very nice quaint winery. Staff very knowledgeable . Great to hear the stories of the winery. And the wines decent too. And decent price

Faye Smith Agency

Had dinner here called the Red Fox Club with my GF for Canada Day Long weekend on our one year anniversary... Easily one of the best dinners I have ever had. Service was exeptional, the food was so fresh and from local farms, and the ambiance was top notch. I loved how small the place was, it felt so relaxing. We need to come back Asap! Most of the wineries are in West Kelowna... But this is really the hidden gem! ???? Get the salmon tar tar as an appetizer!

We had such an incredible tasting and lunch at Indigenous World Winery. The wine is fantastic, particularly the Viognier and the Cab Sav were excellent, beautiful and smooth. We had lunch, on Sunday and Monday the main restaurant is closed so we weren't expecting anything however the kitchen is still open and simply have a self serve style appetizer menu, that you order at the counter and pick up when your buzzer goes, it worked so well with the incredible view and and the food choice. We had a lovely relaxing lunch made up of a bottle of cabernet sauvignon, a cheese and meat platter, bannock and the "Indian Taco" (Bannock Taco - omg amazing!). The manager Steve was incredible and helped up with our choices and telling us all about the lovely history or the vineyard. For such a new vineyard the wine was exceptional! Would 100% recommend and a member of our group of friends even became a member! You need to try this place! ????????????

Debbie Cartier

Howard Suissa

The winery is beautiful. Awesome views. The gift shop is cute. Tasting is well priced, as are the wines. The only reason this gets a 3 stars is the actual taste of the wines. I don't know if it is just in comparison to the other wines we had that day, but this was the only place where I didn't find a wine I liked. I don't know, personal taste maybe. But they just weren't that good. Staff was friendly enough. Could have been a little more into their jobs though. Some of the wineries the staff is so passionate and maybe it just makes things taste better.

Hayden Stefoniuk

Had the pleasure of stopping by Indigenous World while we were on vacation in Kelowna. We were with our dog (who comes with us everywhere) and despite how busy the tasting staff and manager (Steve) were they bent over backwards to accomodate us and another couple to have an outdoor tasting. It seems like such a simple gesture but it made such a huge difference in our trip and ability to enjoy the experience. This level of service and accommodation is seldom seen these days and for this I will always be grateful and recommend them to everyone travelling through Kelowna. Next time through we'll have to do dinner as we know we'll always be in good hands here. Wine, service, location and facility is incredibly on point, would give 10 stars if I could!

Noelle Fraser

Went for a wine tasting, worst experience in the entire Okanagan. Staff was not friendly, personable or engaging, and if interrupted from his script, he couldn’t get back on track. Couldn’t try the varieties we had hoped to try. Very disappointed for such a highly advertised winery.

J O

Nice location for wine tasting and they have spirit tasting aswell! I recommend this place. Go check it out!

We tasted some wines and left with a couple bottles of wine in our bag. Friendly and knowlegable staff. Enjoyed our visit and would go again.

Service upstairs for wine tasting and downstairs for spirits and charcuterie was exceptional. Staff are friendly and attentive. Outdoor tasting areas comfortable and well-shaded from summer sun. Beautiful setting in the middle of nature (deer visited the grounds a couple times during our visit), with view of Okanagan Lake. Very reasonable prices as well. Will be going back!

Brought my niece and her girlfriends from Sask. and the Yukon to your winery. You have a hidden treasure in that wonderful woman Helena. The ladies were spell bound by her passion , knowledge and pride. Your presentation and product are of course second to none, but Helena adds that special sparkle that lifts you above the rest. The rest of the good people at Indigenous World and The Fox Club are far and away leading the pack on the Westside Wine trail.

Marlene Merke

Great food. Our hostess made a fabulous recommendation; Red Fox Board with Bannock Plate Bread. Yum!

Adrian Haber

Highly recommended. Super wine tasting in a beautiful contemporary location. The Cabernet Franc 2015 is amazing.

Ryan Forsythe

Our FAVOURITE ! Not only was the vibe and atmosphere here lovely, it was also intimate and classy. We had the full attention of our host, who explained the wines and the history of the winery. We joined their wine club, and chose their patio for our dinner. We sat overlooking the mountain, glowing in the smoky sunset, while live music played. This all set the stage for a beautiful evening. Highly reccomend.

Three of us Visited this winery yesterday and despite being the only ones to do wine tasting they refused to let us try some of the regular ones like Pinot Noir etc. citing they don’t have an open bottle.... so much for running a winery ????. We like another red though and hence giving them 2 stars however they could do a better service if some one has travelled all the way from Seattle ????

Shane Steppke

Kirsten McDowell

Beautiful building and view, truly an excellent environment to relax and enjoy your wine. And the wine itself was excellent, whites and red alike. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and for kids they serve complimentary sparkling juice to keep the little ones involved. 5/5, absolutely would recommend.

We stopped in on our way out of town to purchase a birthday gift of a bottle of wine. We paid for a tasting but the wine that we were considering buying wasn't on the tasting list. The employee asked a supervisor if a bottle of it could be opened for us to taste and this was approved so we ended up with an additional taster, plus most importantly we got to check out the wine before buying. We were very impressed and then made our purchase of this wine, since it was exactly what we wanted.

Very mice wines, food and service was excellent. Was a little taken back by the dark walls in the restaurant but ended up loving the colour because it made the incredible view even more perfect. Great idea! Will definitely go back!

Beautiful winery with amazing wines. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Every staff member is so friendly and welcoming. On my most recent visit, Steve hosted a tasting for myself and five friends who had never been to a tasting before. Steve was happy to explain all of the wines and processes while being very personable and interacting with each member of our group. This is definitely my favourite winery and it's amazing to be able to support indigenous business at the same time. Thanks for all you do!

Ate there last night - had the duck it was very nice - service great too. ONly concern is that we tried to book for 18 and they have a limit of $2000 before taxes - even if we all had a couple glasses of wine, appies, main course and dessert it won't add up to more than $1500 - so we have to spend all that money somewhere else - their income and tip loss for their staff - makes you want to say HMMMM!

Coffeefellow Ratingen

The seems like a good place and they seem to be doing all the right things oh, but it just isn't coming together. Wines on their tasting list are likely not their best showing, I won't be buying any but I hope the wines not on the tasting list are much better. Hopefully they can get a formula that works as it's a beautiful location and property.

We came in a bit late from the wine pairing event and the server still allowed us to participate. That was nice, and she even offered local places to visit. The winery itself is a Very intriguing place, and I’d love to check out the restaurant downstairs.

We had driven by countless times, but finally decided to stop by and try some of their wines, we are so thankful that we did. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The white wines were good, we're not really into any Reds so can't comment on their quality. The Gewurztraminer is to die for, it's like no other wine that were have come across. Simply delicious, it's our favourite Okanagan wine, and the hit of any party that we take it to. We have been back to the Winery several times, and always buy a case or two of the Gewurz, plus pick up cases for our friends who are now hooked on it as well. We now have a case delivered twice a year via their Wine Club, Free shipping and 10% off, there is NO downside to that deal ! Our only complaint is that the Gewurz tends to sell out early in the Fall. We bought the Viognier and Muscat last time, and both are very enjoyable. Thank YOU Indigenous :-)

Ok but service was lacking - rather disappointed with the choices avaiable for the tasting fee when I couldn't drink the red was not offered alternative.

My fiancé and I visited Indigenous World Winery for the first time yesterday. Indigenous Winery was one of 12 West Kelowna wineries participating in the “Sip with your Sweetheart” self-guided wine tour event. It was a very nice experience. Westbank has such a strong First Nations influence so this winery was a fantastic addition to this tour. The tasting bar has a bright fresh-feeling atmosphere with lots of unique native décor items. The lady serving us was very attentive and knowledgeable. The wine we tried was good and paired well with the complimentary citrus cake-pop. We also looked at the restaurant menu before we left and are eager to go back and give the food a try!

Loved every minute. The people are super, the wines are wonderful and the Red Fox Club food was amazing. So far our very favourite and we've been to a lot of wineries over the years.

Came in this weekend for a tasting and immediately was greeted by the most obnoxious, entitled and rude woman. Therefore, I did not a good initial introduction to the winery. My brother made a joke and said “we’re here to get drunk” and krista (the same lady who greeted us in a rude manner) said “not here you’re not”. To which my brother responded “it was a joke” and krista got her back up and responded “I don’t care, you are not getting drunk here take it somewhere else and leave if that’s what you’re here for”. She doesn’t seem to be in the right profession if she is bothered by jokes concerning liquor in my opinion. The young man who served us our wine tastings was on the other hand, delightful to deal with. He did a great job of explaining the wines and was accommodating to my red wine allergy. After our tasting we went downstairs to the spirits bar and had another tasting. The lady downstairs who served us was extremely attentive and explained what we were tasting perfectly.
