My wife and I were on a wine tour today with a group of about 30 others. We stopped at 4 wineries in Indiana. Country Heritage was hands down the best experience. Not only did they have the largest selection of wine (over 2 dozen selections) they had by far the best facility and atmosphere of any winery we visited. They are in a completely different class than anyone else. They have both indoor and outdoor options for fun with family or friends. They also have outstanding customer service. I accidently dropped our wine we just purchased outside their building. It was totally my fault, not their fault. I informed one of the employees as there was glass all over and we did not want anyone getting hurt on it. Immediately the employee helped with the clean up, apppologized for my experience, and offered either a refund or another bottle of wine at no charge. Then they ran to the other building and brought us new bottle of wine. Because of this phenominal customer service and experience, my wife and I are already forming a list of friends and family we want to take to Country Heritage so they can have the same wonderful experience we had. I give them 8 out of 5 stars!

As fantastic of an experience as I've read online. $5 wine tasting of 6 different wines, wine-tenders with lots of personality and fun stories of the winery, and surprisingly tasty food choices (the Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich was 9/10 for me). Also, they carry DeBrand chocolates, so everything you need to compliment your sweet/ice wines. Highly recommend!

After buying out Chateau Thomas in Plainfield, Country Heritage did not want to honor the event contracts. Their idea was to tell all the brides that they will get their money back and no longer hold the wedding at the winery, LESS THAN A MONTH BEFORE THE WEDDING. Luckily, the AMAZING event coordinators settled most things with no help from Country Heritage, but after the wedding, those coordinators no longer had a job. Country Heritage does NOT respect its customers or its staff and it will take a lot to get me to think differently of them. The entire atmosphere changed when their employees came in and it is sad that my husband and I no longer look forward to wine tastings at the place we were married.

Nice outdoor atmosphere, which includes children! Cornhole and giant Jenga available in multiple locations onsite. We had a food truck available to us today, even though they have a nice onsite selection available which includes nachos, pizzas of all varieties, Mac'n'cheese, etc (see online menu for more). Fire pits available for reservation, plenty on picnic table style tables, and a live (although loud if too close) band on the weekends.

Got there at 5:45. People at the tasting bar still selecting and we were refused. Told we had to pick something without tasting and wait in a long line at the register. I understand being under staffed but how can you expect someone to buy something without tasting first. We drove from Monee, Illinois to try their wines. Very disappointed

Rented a gas firepit during a concert and it was great. Even with the down pour of rain that ended are night early. Jessica was our server and we couldn't have asked for a better one! We always had drinks and even when the down pour started and we had to seek shelter near the building and out of the rain, she kept checking on us!

Horrible. I paid for a fire pit with”service”. No service provider except for serving wine. I still had to wait for 30 minutes in line to order food (plus a 30-40 minute wait). I missed out on conversations with friends as I was waiting in line. I feel for $107 I should have been able to place a food order. I didn’t mind the wait on the food, no problem. We were seated close to the band which was loud, so conversation was hard to do. However, great band, but I wish we could have chosen to be seated further away. We asked to be seated further away and we were able to get a table. However, no compensation provided. So, $107 for nothing’s that you couldn’t do on your own!! Will do everything to never go back. Horrible customer service and management! Nine ladies for a birthday party were treated terribly. High expectations with very low results.

Amazing winery in Indiana! Fabulous service! Fabulous facility! Fabulous wine! Absolute amazed at this winery. I've been to many in Napa, Sonoma, Russian River Valley in California. Numerous in western Wisconsin and all across Minnesota. Country Heritage Winery is in my top 3 out of the many. If you are in the Fort Wayne area and enjoy wine, do yourself a favor and visit here! The absolute best Marquette I have ever tasted! They have food, ciders, slushy things, and beautiful indoor and outdoor space. I couldn't stay to witness but they have an ampitheatre with entertainment as well. If you get a chance, you really should check out Country Heritage Winery. I live in Minnesota and I will definitely be back!

If you don’t want people who aren’t wearing masks to saddle up right next to you, if you were hoping not to use a pen that was used by the person in front of you, if you were hoping for some evidence of sanitation or organization, if you were hoping for even an attempt at keeping distance between yourself and others, if you were hoping for a place where people follow the rules and guidelines, don’t come here right now. If you’re hoping to get away with not wearing a mask and you think Covid-19 isn’t anything that you need to change your habits for, this is currently the place for you. (Pictures below of what was stated on the website and what I expected versus what was happening. These photos were taken after most people had settled in for the evening. It was 5-10 worse earlier) Probably almost half of the people I saw walking around, ordering, and waiting in lines weren’t wearing masks or were pulling them down or wearing them improperly. Though, many were holding them in their hands.)

Will never return. Stopped by for an afternoon tasting with my wife. Was seated outside, where only 2 other couples were. After 5 minutes, was finally given menus, after approx. 10 minutes ordered. Other customers left and came, and after additional 20 minutes another server approached and asked if we had ordered. We ordered a second time, and after an additional 5-10 minutes, we observed everyone else being served who came after us. We decided to leave, when we notified our server of our leaving, the response was “ok”...no apologies at all. Maybe to some, this is ok or a one-time event. But we will not return nor purchase their products.

I've visited hundreds of wineries in several areas of the world over my lifetime & they each offer something unique. Country Heritage Winery just northwest of Fort Wayne Indiana offers a truly enjoyable wine tasting & buying experience. It is a small winery you can drive to just outside of town & as you approach the winery you drive past the Vinyards just off Hwy 3 to a parking area outside the main entrance. As you enter the main entrance to the winery there is a wine tasting room with a fireplace, several tables, a sales counter & friendly staff available to assist you. There is a larger wine tasting & special event room further back in the complex. Public restrooms are available & light hors d'oeuvres & pizzas are available to accompany your wine tasting experience. It is a truly delightful way to spend an afternoon or weekend with wines generally priced between $10 & $25 per bottle. A sampling of 7 different wines is available for $5.

Went there with family for my mom’s birthday. Their outdoor area is spectacular. The tables with shade umbrellas were just perfect on a warm summer day. A little more shaded areas would have been nice with a hot sun overhead. Wine was good and reasonably priced by the bottle with means to reseal the bottle and drive the rest home. Still kid friendly in the outdoor area, unlike other wineries around Fort Wayne. All kids were well behaved. Most families with kids, including ours, cleared out before the band started up. Nice to be able to spend an afternoon with the whole family at a beautiful venue like this. Service was good, a little slow but very friendly. We have definitely changed our go to winery to Country Heritage.

This is one of my favorite places to go when I'm in town visiting family. The wines are very different than those we have in California, and I enjoy that about Country Heritage. The tasting room is spacious, and there are lots of of places to explore. This would also be a fantastic event space if you're looking to host a party or wedding! Will definitely be coming back.

I knew most of the songs and that's difficult to find for people who grew up in the the 70s. I don't even think the band members were born when these songs were rising the Billboard charts. LOL ???? We went to several different wineries in the area today and this was by far my least favorite. It was very impersonal with very little options to taste test. 5 for $5 is a little expensive if you ask me especially when other places allow 8 for free and help you with your decision. I would definitely not recommend coming here.

I cannot express how amazing this place is! Although it was busy, the staff were quick, relaxed, and super helpful. We came out to see Wallen Road perform. Perfect weather and I think you nailed the layout of the outdoor arena. Easy to navigate, see all areas, never seemed to crowded in anyone area. Picturesque really! Band accoustics were also on point which was loud enough to jam to the songs we knew and still converse amoungst eachother over the music. Staff was prompt to make sure trash was thrown away and tables were not left dirty. We don't drink alcohol so we ordered a bottle of your sparkeling grape juice and its was superb! Great place for a fun, lower key night out.

This is place waiting for a accident to happen with the amount of people on a summer Friday evening you haven't got enough parking way to many long line's of people waiting to be served little to no food to eat and probably far to many people past the legal limit to drive. Face it this more of a open air bar and should require a age limit. And I'm sorry NO PET'S OF ANY KIND ALLOWED! You need to rethink a couple of thing's, food needs to available and easy to get and make getting served easier. And someday someone is going to leave get in a car and have a accident or hit someone. Otherwise a nice place with overpriced wine!

Rarely leave comments when the service is bad, but our group reserved a fire pit and it was some of the worst service I've had in my life. The lady that was supposed to be our "waitress" was all over the place and barely took our orders. We had to wait a long time to get anything. We ordered a couple bottles of wine for our group of 15 and she only brought 2 wine glasses. I feel that I didn't get to experience a lot of wines or drink because the lack of service. The group next to us seemed to have everything they wanted and needed, but that wasn't the case for us. The wine slushy was good and the one wine I got to taste was good too. Wish I could've experienced more for the money we paid to have that fire pit.

I have been to this winery several times. The service sucks every time. The bartenders stand around talking with other workers, while ignoring customers. Last time we went, we we did a tasting. There was one other couple tasteing. There was two workers. One just stood around doing nothing. The other one stood and laughed with the other couple, even after they were done sampling. When she finally came over to give us our first sample. She filled my moms and walked away. I stood their for 20 minutes before I got my first sample. It happends everytime we go. I could understand if they were busy, but it wasn't the case. I like atmosphere, its beautiful. But its not worth it. We wont be going back. Go to Byler lane Winery instead.

My wife and I have been going since the 1st week, it's still a nice winery but has gotten too popular. We'll still go there but not nearly as often. If you want a good wine tasting please visit them as you will surely leave with a few bottles.

UPDATE 2021: Customer service has improved! I’ve had a much better experience more recently. Thanks for working on it Country Heritage. I’m adding a star. 2019 Review: I really like coming here and I like their wine slushies. It’s a great atmosphere, but whoever answers their phones has a terrible attitude and is incredibly cynical. I called last fall to ask if my family could do pictures outside and they told me “I don’t see why you would want to do pictures here when the grapevines are dead.” They said we could do pictures here, but they did not see thrilled about it. Then, I called to ask if they do any reservations because I was thinking about gathering some friends there for my birthday. The spoke to me as if I was dumb for even asking the question. They could have just said “sorry, no.” She was like “don’t try to bring a birthday cake in, it’s against the board of health regulations,” but I hadn’t even asked about that and I wasn’t even planning to bring a cake in. My in-person experience has always been positive and I plan to keep visiting this place, but seriously their employees could use some lessons on phone courtesy and customer service.

Country Heritage is a breath of fresh air in northeast Indiana. It is one of the nicest wineries I have been to. And I have been to many here in Indiana. It has a great atmosphere and a very helpful staff. I have always enjoyed more visits to it. I hope they continue with their great success.

This was a beautiful winery but the service at the tasting bar left a lot to be desired. We were there for more than 20 minutes while servers kept walking past us. We felt like we were invisible. There seemed to be no organization to their serving. There were many young female employees just walking around and talking to one another. We ended up paying for the tasting but not getting to try all of the wines we wanted to try.

This is by far one of my favorite wineries. Every time I am in town I make sure to stop and stock back up on wine. I went back a couple of weeks ago and was a little surprised they no longer let you pick 7 for a tasting. You now get 2 samples and can get additional samples for $1. Very much worth it though. There are so many tasty wines it hard to just try a couple.

Beautiful space with plenty of room. The staff was pretty good. They make nice pizza. No outside food or drink allowed, $1 for bottled water. If you order a bottle of wine with over 20%ABV to split, their policy is one glass of wine per person and re-cork the bottle. They will however serve lower ABVs until you are a laughing nutcase as was exemplified by one of their clients. Good, clean facility plenty of wine and cider selections.

Went here spur of the moment on our way somewhere else. Very nice building only 7yr old we was told. Lots of room. Looks like hey may host parties and stuff with a few big pavilions that are heated l. The wine tasting was free and thst was good. Most places are $5-7. However there was nothing that made me really want to buy bottle. The stay was friendly but had a business like feel to them. My group did get a glass of wine each and we sat under one of the pavilions and drank it during a thunder storm..that was nice.

We were going to visit for wine slushees and tastings. Instead we walked into the lobby, we were not greeted by any of the 10 employees available. We were in fact able to use a trash covered menu on the bar to view selections. Whilst at the bar, we were passed by a couple employees and never acknowledged. We maybe stood and waited for 10 minutes and were ignored. I will not be returning. Please, educate employees about costumer service and professionalism.
