My husband and I joined the Winery Tours of Niagara and truly enjoyed the experience! The tour was well planned, having visited 4 (very different from each other) wineries. Our tour guide, John, was so insightful and entertaining and made the day a lot of fun....I will definitely request John on my next visit!!

Ted was an awesome guide. They provided a pickup at our hotel, and over 5 hours of entertainment and guidance through a ton of wineries in the area. They collected our purchases and kept them safe, then boxed them up for when we got back to the hotel. 100% would take this tour again.

We opted for the wine tour with cheese, charcuterie and truffles. The tour started well and Bill was a polite and friendly guide, who regaled us with many a fact about Niagara on the Lake and the surrounding vineyards. The first stop was as expected with some wine tasting and pairing (with the previously mentioned food stuffs), all very tasty, although having the food pairings almost immediately after breakfast made it slightly less appealing. We were then treated to a browse around the store to make some purchases if we so desired. Unfortunately the rest of the tour didn't quite follow suite. There was no more food included in any of the other wineries, so the "cheese, charcuterie and truffles" was actually just one 'snack' plate of a few small pieces of cheese, crackers, meat on a stick and a single chocolate truffle (which was delicious!). Maybe we were wrong to expect more than a single plate? If we had known it would be the only food on the tour we probably would have pocketed the left overs and saved them for later, as after a sizeable breakfast we left half of the food anyway. Only nibbling at items and tasting the wine accordingly. There were aspects of the tour that felt a little like you were being sold to, which was a shame and actually made us less inclined to purchase anything. Overall it was a worthwhile experience and it was interesting finding out about ice wine production. There was a good array of different wines and we did purchase a couple of bottles to take home. In summary, more food please, and if you are only going to provide one plate of food don't do it straight after breakfast!

We had an amazing time! Our guide Rob was so pleasant and informative. The price is fair for the transportation and 4 wineries + charcuterie. We had a lovely time this is a great way to spend a day on vacation in Niagara Falls and to experience Niagara on the lake. Great tour!

Had a great tour with John as our guide who was fantastic. He was humorous, professional and very helpful. John was more than a guide, he was like our personal butler who waited on us. Our tour included lunch at Oliv, a beautiful restaurant with casual fine dining. Excellent food. If you are wanting to do a wine tour, this company is fantastic. You are picked up at your hotel and you can just sit back and enjoy. We went to 5 wineries and sampled between 4 or 5 wines at each place. Everything was taken care of, well worth the money.

I booked the day tour with no lunch for my husband and I. We went to 4 winery with tasting of red, white and ice wine at each. The guided tour at Pillitteri winery was fabulous. The winery itself was beautiful and our guide was very entertaining. We stopped in Niagara-on-the-lake for lunch in the main town, lots of choices. Our bus driver Rob really made the difference in the trip. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wineries and the Niagara area! The only thing we didn't like was there was no confirmation the night before for pick uo next day at out accommodations. Overall I would recommend this tour and will be back myself.

This was my boyfriend and my first winery tour and I was unsure about it mainly due to the cost but let me tell you it was totally worth every penny! John was our tour guide and he was great. He picked us up right at our hotel and we were with 3 other couples. We were only supposed to go to 4 wineries but we had a little extra time for 1 more which was great! Ended up getting around 18 tastings. It was so nice to be driven around, he helped us ladies in and out of the van, carried and saved all the wine we bought in the back in a box with our name on it. We had an hour around lunch in downtown Niagara on the Lake to explore and eat. I would definitely do that again!

Took the Compromise Tour with Niagara Brewery & Distillery Tours. Tour was interesting & full of surprises along the way. Charcuterie platter at last stop was a bonus as we were ready for a snack. Our driver Mark was fantastic & very knowledgeable about the Niagara region & the places we stopped at. Thanks Rich & Mark for making our day enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this tour. Just as a side note, we were offered a $10. discount per person at Gretzky's but because my husband paid for both we only got 1 discount. Didn't notice til I looked at the bill afterwards so if you want to take advantage of the discounts make sure you pay separately.

Definitely worth the price it was just two of us and our first wine tour it was definitely one to remember Brando made it excellent from having more energy than I ever though possible at 10am all the was until drop off I would recommend tour to everyone Brando knew so much fun facts about wines and was willing to go above and beyond what he needed to do to make everyone on the tour happy the wineries themselves were beautiful and the guides there were so accomadating if I knew I wasn't going to like a wine they would let me pick a different one to try it was great 10/10 will always reccomend this tour!

REALLY disappointed in the misleading information on this website for the Bachelorette Package. Although there is a line saying "Starting at $99.00" the wording is misleading as the site breaks down all the inclusions, then offers optional add-ons, which leads one to believe that is where the $99 will be more for those add-ons. When we decided on this package and emailed for reservations, we were told that you needed a Private party of 16 or more in order to obtain $99 pricing. This is absurd as there is nothing indicating minimum requirements for the group or specific private tour option for this price. In order for our group to get the "inclusions" we'd have to pay over $249 per person. FAR from the $99 listed. Just really frustrated that they couldn't just state requirements on the website instead of WASTING my time and setting up false expectations. Poorly written and poorly managed website and company who won't stand by their website.

My boyfriend and I opted for the wine tour with cheese and charcuterie and it was great. Bill was a punctual and friendly driver/tour guide. All four wineries were beautiful, welcoming and informative. Wine was great. After each tasting we had a chance to purchase the wines. Our tour group was small (8 people in total) so we had many opportunities to take photos, ask questions, etc. From pick-up to drop-off it was just under 6 hours. Remember to bring cash for tip.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip! The van picks you up from wherever you need, and our guide graciously dropped us off at a different location, right in downtown NOL, and gave us dinner recommendations so we could explore the area after the tour. The wineries and brewery themselves were all inviting and had delicious tastings, but our tour guide John is really who made the experience extra enjoyable! Knowledgeable, friendly, and he even packaged any wine we purchased up for us in the van so that we didn’t have to lift a finger!

Our group of 6 opted for the 3 wineries + 1 brewery package. It was very expensive considering the samples were 1 oz each at the wineries. I have been on wine tours before in the Niagara region for a fraction of the cost so I would have expected to receive legitimate samples this time around.

He sent us a message the night before confirming the time and place of pick up location. He was on time and was very knowledgable and really took the time to talk to us and the other couple and make this tour a memorable experience.

“They broke up!” This could have been the worse experience but it turned around quickly thanks to our driver, Riley. He had the wrong address and didn’t end up picking us up. After many phone calls and an amazing b&b owner who drove us to meet the tour, we finally joined the tour as they were leaving the first stop. We then got on the oldest and most noisy bus possible. Riley was so kind and apologetic. Technical difficulties that were out of his control and not his fault. Riley even went as far as to get us a bottle from the brewery we missed. All in all it was a great trip and we had a lovely time. Thanks Riley for saving our 10th anniversary trip and for being so fun. I still can’t believe that couple broke up LOL.

I signed up for the trip because the website says a professional and knwolegebale guide will be with us all the time to share knowledge. But the guide I had didn't share with us the history or the tasting knowledge after each tour. If more feels like he memorized few pages of Niagara wine history that you could find online and drove you to each location . After first winery, he saw me bought 6 bottles of ice wine (it was a good deal that buy 5 get 1 for free), he asked where Im from. I replied from Waterloo Ontario. He then continue to ask "no no. Where are you originally from ? ". It is racism to ask someone's nationality after he saw I purchased more wine than regular people. The second winery we visited is called konzelmann estate winery. The sales guide there didn't talk much at all other then asking us to drink and eat cracker or chocolate. The tour guide was with us the whole time . He didn't follow up on the experience or share any useful knowledge on tasting. The end of the day, he asked me to pay 15% tips, and calculate the dollar amount for me and my friends. Tips are completely discretionary depends on the experience you perceived. Overall experience is bad .Racism! That driver is called Rob!

We enjoyed the tour until the afternoon when half of the tour group came back from lunch impaired and speaking profanity. The tour guide did nothing to discourage this and, in fact, took the opportunity to market his new business of Cannabis/Wine Tour.

We took this tour on Saturday and our driver was Ted. We paid extra for the 2 course lunch. It started out by Ted texting us letting us know he would be picking us up 15 minutes earlier then expected 10 minutes prior to picking us up. The bus was max to capacity and someone had to sit up front with Ted due to this...rather than sitting with who he came with. The bus was extremely HOT and he kept turning the fan off to speak with us. He rushed us through the first 3 wineries and we barely had time to even make purchases. The 4th stop was lunch. He dropped the ones who did not purchase the lunch in the package and then dropped off the ones that had. He gave us about 45 minutes to eat and told us to walk back to where he dropped the others off at. We finished our lunch very fast and then walked back to where he instructed us be ...to only discover that he had left all of us behind. We called him and he stated the 17 others were more important to keep happy than the 5 of us who had paid more and the company instructed him to do so. He never called us or tried to pick us up where he dropped us off at. I have tried to contact this company and they do no answer my calls and I have left several messages and they will not call back. I would of rather gone to less wineries and had more time at each one and had more time for the 2 course lunch rather then being left behind. Ted called the next day because he had given 2 bottles of wine to the wrong people and was trying to find it. I do not suggest using this company. We are Very disappointed.

Our tour guide, Tim was great... we couldn’t of been happier with him! The rest of our experience was not good.... we were very disappointed with the stops at three out of four of the wineries/breweries for covid precautions. Our first stop at between the lines, the lady made us feel so awkward for not wanting to sit within one metre of other people who weren’t in our social circle....she called us out in front of everyone. Our next stop at Pillitteri, it was a good experience minus the man giving us the tour had his nose out most the time and kept playing with his mask every 30 second. Our third stop at Riverview was great. Our last stop at the exchange brewery made us so uncomfortable. We were expected to sit shoulder to shoulder with 8 people on the tour that we didn’t know. We politely said we weren’t comfortable with it and were fine standing but the waiter said that we needed to sit. This not only was awful service but goes against what the law is put in place for covid precautions. Very disappointed with most of the places this tour took us on.

I purchased a $250.00 gift certificate as part of a colleagues retirement gift on May 30, 2021. My credit card was charged and I received a confirmation email that someone would be in contact with me. As of today, June 21, 2021, I have not been contacted, nor have I received the gift certificate. I have called and left multiple messages, nobody ever answers or returns calls. This is beyond ridiculous. Send me the gift certificate or refund the money!!!!!!!

Went last weekend with a few ladies from my family. Our tour guide for the day, John, was incredibly sweet, funny, and made us feel comfortable as soon as we met. I learned a lot about the Niagara wine region, especially about the incredibly sweet icewine made in this region. We were taken to 4 wineries that weren't as big as the other wineries in the area, but they were just as lovely. Our group got to sample more than a dozen wines! If you're like me and you're not used to drinking so much alcohol, I recommend pacing yourself! Since I booked the tour that included an a la carte lunch at a restaurant near the region. A table was reserved for us at OLiV Restaurant, and the food was fantastic (especially the creamy gnocchi)! My family and I had a wonderful time taking the tour, and the four other ladies we met were absolutely lovely. Everyone we met at the different wineries were just as pleasant and informative as John. Unfortunately, the one con I want to point out from this experience was the way our reservation was handled. I booked the tour two weeks in advance and was told (through phone and e-mail) that my pickup would be between 10:35 to 10:50am at my designated area. However, I was informed last minute (as in, at 10:45pm LESS THAN 12 HOURS until the tour) that my pick-up time was actually an hour early, at 9:30am. There was no exact reason given nor was there any apology as well....only a request for me and my party "to confirm". If John and the tour itself hadn't been so great, this incredibly late notice would've soured my experience about the company. Fortunately for them, their tour package was pretty worthwhile in my opinion. My only advice for them would be to let your guests know ahead of time of any changes so they can plan accordingly, and to pick up their office phone, especially when one has called them twice in two days.
