I bought one 20L and one 30L barrel from Bochart and couldn't be happier. These barrels are very high quality for the price, and I would definitely recommend them. I currently use my barrels for fermenting and aging beer in, and I love the character these barrels give to my brews.

I bought my first barrel from Bochart two years ago. The quality of the barrels is excellent, and their service too. I bought 3 more barrels after the first one, and they are all beautifully made and never had any leaks. I use these barrels to age my brandy and my wine. If you need a barrel, buy from Bochart, period!

Really bad and sad experience. Really bad customer services. I bought a Kombucha Barrel that is nice. When I bought it, I chose to be delivered by Express Post from CAnada Post because They are good. Boch Art choose CanPar. 10 days after, I look at the Tracking number, and it says that The 300$ barrel has been delivered WITHOUT a signature... When I contact Bochart, Their Answer, is : It has been delivered, we will contact CanPar to have a proof of delivery... Soo lucky, CanPar sucks SOOO much, that I finally got the Barrel deliver 3 days after... But the answer from Bochart, was just : "We SOOO don't care about customer services.... We delivered with cheapest possible service, and if you got stolen, we don't care" Will never buy again from them and NEVER recommand anyone to buy from them.

WOW! Received one of their barrels as a gift. Really nicely made. I CANNOT OVEREMPHASIZE the high quality of customer service I received from Serge. Had a minor issue with my barrel and he fixed it with seamless communication and efficiency. You can't find good products backed up by people like this anymore.

Leaky, leaky, leaky I ordered a 23 l oak barrel and received it quickly and set about following all the directions for preparing it for my wine. Heated it and cooled it and rolled it, etc. but it leaked and it leaked: 20 – 30 ml per day, or about a bottle of wine per month. Called and was told to treat with wheat flour (contamination if you have a wheat allergy or gluten intolerance), rolled, rinsed, heated, etc. Still leaked. Returned it to manufacturer a got it back “nothing wrong with this barrel!” Does this sound like a bad mechanic you may have met? Finally returned it for a half refund. I was advised that it was returned “after the return date.” True, but is ALWAYS LEAKED! For my $170 I have nothing but a lot of wasted time. If they resell it, keep in mind it is still contaminated with gluten.
