I went on the Grant Hall tour with Prairie Bee Meadery and it was great. We had lots of fun learning about the history of the Grant Hall and alcohol in Moose Jaw and surrounding areas. The cocktail tasting was also wonderful. I would definitely do it again.

Nice place, full of Saskatchewan made products, staff was friendly. We tasted each of their mead varieties and left with several, plus some delicious cider varieties as well. Definitely would recommend them.

I bought my dad and I a “Bee to Bottle Winery Tour” for Father’s Day. We drove two hours to this event and it was so worth it! The tour itself was enlightening and the mead tasting was awesome! Our favourite was the chocolate liqueur. We were the only people on the tour that day, so we got a private experience of the Meadery!

We thoroughly enjoyed the winery tour, just a short drive from Moose Jaw. Our host- and part-owner gave us a very enjoyable and educational tour of their personal journey and about bees. We sampled the wines, I was so hesitant since I didn’t know what to expect, however we were so pleasantly surprised by just how lovely the wines are! Later that evening we also took in the Grant Hall Wine & Dine tour, we received a very cool fact-packed tour and history of alcohol in Canada, as well as tasty cocktail samples and more wines. They have a beautiful store right in the basement of the Grant, not just of their amazing wines, but local crafted beverages too. The supper was also tasty, great experience!

I did the Bee to Bottle Tour this summer. Crystal is so engaging and shared interesting information about bees & the honey wine making process. Taste testing was the perfect end to the tour. Definitely do the tour if you're in the area!

I had the regular unflavoured mead and the strawberry flavoured one. Both excellent! I do wish that there was a plum mead, specifically something like a Japanese Ume wine. That would be quite fantastic and could possibly open a new market.

I bought a case of the rhubarb mead on a whim while visiting the Red Barn outside of Kenosee. I am from Manitoba so when I see a good thing I jump on it. It was suggested to chill this in the freezer for an hour before serving. It pairs so nicely with Jamaican jerked lamb chops done in the oven. It is our Sunday treat. I wil be needing to make another trip to Saskatchewan soon to liberate another case. May 29, 2020 So I promised you an update. The wine never fails. Waiting for pandemic to end so I can buy another case. Down to my last two bottles.

The Wandering Market

The mead is so flavourful of summer fruits. The strawberry is reminiscent of picking a fresh garden strawberry. It’s all the delicious and I love knowing they use local fruits from Grandpas Garden just outside Moose Jaw.

Prairie Bee Meadery offers numerous different types of mead along other elements. Coming from Europe, I really enjoy tasting this type of alcohol and was pleasantly surprised by the numerous different types they have had. Staff was very helpful and prices are reasonable by Canadian standards.

My favorite collection of mead! I love the rhubarb and my husband the blueberry. They make excellent gifts and I love to have several hanging around at Christmas time. Plus they are a local company and a local product. Score big in my books!

Swankier than it needs to be, IMO, but what do I know? You can usually taste anything, and secret hidden gem is they have the best local brewery off-sale selection in all of Moosejaw.

I love all the meads, my favourite would have to be the Haskap Haven. Definitely recommend Prairie Bee Meadery, the bottles are also beautifully decorated and display nicely. It would be delicious to try a choke-cherry sparkling mead in the future!

My boyfriend and I did a tour of the Prairie Bee Meadery back in the fall, and we had such a great time! To be honest, I didn't really know anything about mead, and the first time I'd heard of Prairie Bee was when I was looking for fun things to do in Moose Jaw and booked the tour. So, so happy I did. Crystal is an amazing tour guide - she is very passionate and knowledgeable, and really funny! The mead was delicious - our favourites were the Fruit Fusion and the Traditional Bee. I highly recommend trying their products, and if you are in the area, do the tour!

Went to Moosejaw for a weekend with some friends and just checked this place out by chance. We were not disappointed! Right away we were greeted by the friendly staff and also given helpful info about the products. After some browsing, we were offered some samples and this really sealed the deal for us. The honey wine is wonderful. Its unique and comes in many great flavors. My wife and I ended up leaving with four bottles and are very excited to get home and share with family and friends ????????????
