Ordered the regular chicken dinner and perogies. Looked in bag before getting in car and no perogies so went back in. Got the perogies and went home. Got home and there was no sour cream for the perogies and because I had to wait for them to be cooked my French fries with my meal were soggy. Guy at front who took orders was very nice about everything. All I have to say is....check your bag to make sure everything is in there you ordered before leaving and make sure you own a dog who will eat anything.

Place order online and and payment was made online received confirmation by email arrived a few mins before and filled out the curb side pickup form online and waited and waited for our food.... after ten mins of waiting passed our time for pickup i ask a girl that was delievering food to another car about my order she infos me that the order was cancelled i asked why was it cancelled when i got a confirmation of payment in my email .... she replied someone is surpose to call me. Well she went in side and another girl came out and informed me the order was cancelled and i can go through the drive thur and order again it was a big order and she said at least 10 mins or more to make it ... all i have to say is why didn’t they call and tell u that it was cancelled and no one knows why it was cancelled and that i got a email confirmation that it was received and paid for worse customer service ever!!!!

My parents loved both of their meals, as did my sister. I had the rib sandwich, and while it had lots of cartilage, it was really great. My dad adored the crispy chicken sandwich, and my mom loved the broccoli in her Chicken Pot Pie. My sister had the two chicken leg meal, and it was her favourite chicken she has ever had. The fudge cake was also soooooo good.

Avoid if you have gluten-free requirements. Menu has no listed options, you'll have to go through their nutrition chart at the table to find what you could potentially eat, which may still get contaminated from the grill according to the server. Was able to have something in the end, but it was a stressful experience I won't be repeating again. Only thing not making it a 1 - the server was thoughtful and considerate and helped as much as she could.

My family enjoyed their meals. I didn't enjoy the chicken I had, as lately it seems to me that it is always dry. One time I mentioned it to my waitress and she spoke to someone and my chicken was not dry and was delicious. I forgot to ask about it this time. Other than that everything was great. Now we are November 2018 and I have come back to this restaurant to give it another chance! Ordered the festive platter which is 1/3 rib (4 ribs) and a 1/4 chicken breast as I wanted white meat! The French fries and dipping sauce fine as always! The cranberry side just ok. The chicken Breast was good but the ribs warm at best felt as if they had them in a plate waiting for an order to come through! Service horrible!! They delivered the platter with a fork only no knife and some people do use a knife when we eat a meal which I think they feel we are all potentially animals and do not require a knife! Now in most restaurants you get also a side plate for the chicken and especially the rib bones! Here I am having to use the single napkin that the brought me for such a task. 10 or more minutes into eating my meal I see the waitress walking around and ask if it would not be too much trouble to get a couple of napkins so I can keep my hands clean while eating. Now she comes back with not one or two but eight new napkins and an attitude! Last time coming into this location!!! Stay away there are so many better places to serve you the way one needs to be served with class!!

Swiss Chalet has always had a bit of a problem with cramping way too many diners into a small space. Luckily with the current Covid-19 restrictions, we were spared from hitting elbows with the table right beside our booth. Food was good, though.

Most recent visit here was fantastic, with the quickest service I've ever seen at a restaurant. I came here for lunch with my father and we were seated immediately and had our food in about five minutes. It was hot and fresh and well put together, no signs of any kind of sloppy rush job. I had a beef Kaiser with Swiss and horseradish with garlic green beans as a side, my father hot a hot turkey sandwich and fries. We were both pleased with the results and the wait staff were attentive but respectful in their timing.

Swiss Chalet had the festive special on again so we went there for supper last night. The chicken and fries were cooked to perfection and nice helping sizes. We had great service from our waitress who checked in on us many times. Anyone entering the restaurant had to show proof of vaccination which was comforting to know. I would definitely go to this particular restaurant again.

I had enjoyed Swiss Chalet in Timmins since it’s opening. However, lately it has changed...There is no more service at the tables and all the food is served in plastic containers. Also, the quality of the ribs has changed: they used to be the best but now there is very little meat on those bones and it is very dry. The last time I was there, I complained and was given a free meal for my next visit. I did not go back!!! I am very sad because this was my go to restaurant every time I was in Timmins.

Placed order through Mobile App at 4:30 pm to be ready for 5:30pm. Husband went in to let them know we were waiting at 5:45 and they said it would be another 10 minutes. I went into restaurant at 6:30pm to get money back after waiting two hours. No apologies, nothing. Received a message the NEXT DAY at 2:30pm saying my order would be out in a minute. Very poorly run, zero customer service skills. Tried phoning the restaurant multiple times at the number listed on the web, and the number no longer works. Ridiculous.

Would never go there again. The girl that took our order didn't have a clue what she was doing. We ordered 3 chicken and rib combos, and a 1/4 chicken combo. When my wife looked at the receipt we were charged for extra drinks, (which comes with the meal) And charged for all white meat on all 4 meals (which we did now ask for). Told her about it... Apparently when you buy a meal and it is advertised as $13.49 with a beverage you still have to pay a extra $1.50 for your drink.... but if you didn't want the drink it comes on of the $13.49... ????. When we asked her about the meals being white meat (that we didn't ask for or like)she turned around and walked into the kitchen shaking her head. I told the other girl I wanted my money back and didn't want the food. Manager came to do the refund, never asked what happened or nothing. And for a manager he was way underdressed for his position. WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN.

Did the drive-thru and ordered chicken on a kaiser with fries and extra side salad and extra chalet sauce. When I pulled up to the window I could hear one of the staff enter the back room and yell f**k! Was not very professional. Then When I got home I realized they forgot the fries, gave me every possible condiment even though I said I didn't need any (just a waste) and gave me 2 gravies instead of chalet sauce. Fries and chalet sauce are the best part! So disappointed, especially because I didn't get what I paid for!

Nice restaurant with a take-out counter & tables (Harvey's) as well as a sit-down area with table service (Swiss Chalet). The Swiss Chalet menu is a condensed version. The chicken is good, no complaints here. Food is usually hot. Service is also good. Order online and food is always ready when I show up.

For a pretty reasonable price Swiss Chalet will give you a great quality meal. In particular, their chicken dishes are great, with the classic quarter chicken dinners being the standout. In particular, during Christmas time, the Festive special is a great choice. It gives you fries, chicken, chicken sauce, dressing, chocolates, and coupon off food for a visit in January. All for 12.99! And the quantity of food on that meal is high too.

Placed my order through the app and was told to pick up at 5:22pm. I arrived at 5:30pm and waited outside in a line. When I got in I was told it wouldn’t be ready for another 5 minutes that they would bring it outside for me. Outside I go and 15 minutes later I had to go back in only to find no one there. Ring the bell and there is no response from anyone. Another 5 minutes and the girl comes back and sees me and tells me they are just waiting for the fries. 10 minutes later I FINALLY get my order. Get home and the fries are undercooked and soggy. Never again will this store get my business.

I ordered their chicken pot pie and the nicest way I can describe it, it's like they threw leftover chicken veggies into a bowl and put a slice of toast on it, my stomach hurt for a solid hour after eating it the rest of it was great but the service felt very rushed despite it looking like a slow day so it didn't feel comfortable in there either.

FIRST TIME TO EAT AT A SWISS CHALET AND WAS VERY DISAPOINTED.Me, my gf and my beother Ordered the southern canuck. Its like they didnt even heat it up the chicken. Just barely put some bbq sauce on it and served it. Cheese on it wasnt even melting. It wasnt too bad, flavorful but like i said maybe they keep stuff in a warmer to serve. My sons pizza tasted like it was brought from the frozen food section and thrown in the oven. From this visit i will never go back to a swiss chalet.

Tried ordering by phone for 6 people , SC operator took 20 mins then she hung up in my face. Had to place order online and pick up was just as bad . Food was delicious but portions have gotten significantly smaller. Quarter chicken looked like chicken legs only. Expensive!!

This is over two occurrences. Meal one: wings as appetizer were delicious. Chicken and ribs - ribs tasted warm at best, flavour mediocre. Great server. Second meal: "festive beef" was only beef... the beef was juicy and had a nice peppercorn bite to it. The mashed potato was warm to cool and definitely had the pasty boxed potato flavour. Vegetables appeared dry and had minimal flavor. Gravy was tasty. Service was confusing/ fair as the servers were shifting on the fly. Server took order incorrectly and kinda questioned it being my fault. No names given by either server. Overall: average run of the mill chain restaurant.

This is a pretty busy spot. I ordered take out one evening, and noted that there was a line up of people waiting for seats. The food tasted great and was ready for pickup in twenty minutes or so. Great service. There's a drive thru here too.

We ordered two family meals got two chickens for baked potatoes and4 fries. No Swiss chalet sauce no buns..And had to wait 45 minutes because they ran out of chicken. Very disappointed with a new operation of Swiss chalet

This is probably the fsvourite restaurant that mu wife will go to for comfort food on her birthday. I am not overly fond of the food there but I can eat it. I used yongo more often but my wife loves it. I am not sure how many times a year that we get food there but it is mich more than any other location. And my children love the chicken and it is pretty yhr only chicken that they will eat like this. Overall, I have never had an issue, the staff are amazing and extremely helpful and the drive-in is convenient.

The server was excellent. Friendly and efficient. The food was ok. Fries were warm, not hot. Chicken was a bit dry. Butter (from packets) tasted off. Chalet salad was fine. The restrooms were grimy. One stall was propped open with a mop and bucket. And the entire room smelled like urine. The restaurant was almost deserted the entire time we were there but they were not scheduled to close for several hours. There was a mop and bucket left out in the dining room the entire time we were there. I actually don't dislike mops and buckets while they are in use but I like them put away when they're done their cleaning work. ????

This is the best Swiss Chalet we’ve ever eaten at. We are visiting for Thanksgiving & decided the family would order take out instead of cooking all day. The young guy in charge of Takeout was personable, helpful & informed us their would be a wait time because the restaurant was busy. We happily ordered & came back. The food was hot, delicious & not over cooked. Thank you for a great meal & no dishes.

This swiss chalet is a hit or miss for accurate pick up times. Staff are always friendly and polite though. I have eaten inside a few times but prefer to take home. I normally order around 5-530pm pick up, and have had to wait a few times to have my order ready. they always seem busy being one of the only restaurants in town, so its normally not an issue for the wait. I have tried ordering for 4pm and 630pm pick ups and i have not had any major extra wait during those times. Food is great, love their ribs and wings. They now have delivery service that i will be taking advantage of come winter months. This is my number one place for take out here in town, i will continue to order from them.

We waited until a few months after the initial opening to try the new location. Needless to say the experience was awful. The server should have concentrated on taking the order correctly instead of rambling on about the poor quality of Timmins water. The chicken caesar salad came with rusty iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. We called for the manager and he explained that the lettuce comes pre packaged and all cut up ready to use. He couldn't explain why iceberg instead of romaine. We got them to start our order over only to find that they used iceberg once again for the caesar salad. By then my sister in law and I were too hungry not to eat it. My boyfriend's lemonade came 3/4 full and the girl explained that she had not been trained on the machine. My boyfriend also ordered a double angus cheese and bacon burger only to receive one patty. We'll never go back. After all those mess ups, the original server never came back to our table......wonder why????

Called in order - ordered ribs was told they don't have ribs at my location. (I confirmed with location that they do have ribs) Got my food - Ceasar salad was wilted and smelled bad, didn't get sour cream, got gravy instead of chalet sauce.
