Amazing service and great wine!
This was our first stop on a wine tour day and by far the friendliest. The building is huge, clean and very pretty. Tasting prices were very competitive and the hostess, Emily, was the most friendly and knowledgeable we had that day. ( we visited 5 wineries that day). We did not feel in any way this was only for large tour buses of Chinese people. It was just my bf and I and we were treated to a tour around the winery and the vineyards just the 2 of us. We bought a couple bottles of amazing ice wines and will definitely be back! If you get the chance, ask for Emily, she's top notch!
Very cool place to taste wine. The host was gracious and very well informed. This is a new kid on the block but I see great things ahead. Loved the music nights also.
Cool winery.
Merlot icewine FTW!!!! The place was huge and so much space to social distance from drunken people who only come in and gets trashed from the tasting (cheapest way to get wasted, clever lol). The first time I came in on July 2020 with my significant other and my parents, the hosts didnt wear masks but implemented social distansing and had sanitizers by the door. My father and I did the tasting and he loved the Merlot so he bought the 3L and the other red instead. Their Merlot icewine is amazing!!!! Definately worth every penny!!! So we came back again for this weekend, and this time the hosts had masks on and we decided to taste the rest of their icewines, all are great! But the service I find was....amazingly phenomenal! We had Bruce this time and was also very helpful! Thank you! It was such an easy decision and process to buy 3 of your icewines! He even double checked the bottles to make sure everything is great! Will definitely buy here again! Their products can be purchased online.
Never like wine till I got here! The staff gives you a video of how icewines are processed. And Josh was very kind to show us how to drink a good wine. I think I'm gonna be drinking icewines from now on. Hopefully, they sell online or spread their branch out. Also, travel size friendly bottles would help! Hopefully they do that. Grear icewine!
I visited Grizzli for the first time for their live music and night market. I brought my dog and really loved how it was a family and pet friendly place. The wine is great and the staff are super friendly! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area

Such a great experience with complex and smooth wine choices, would definitely recommend ????
Great experience with Bruce at Grizzli Winery:). He is willing to help and very professional. He kindly explained differences in various wine to us. You will definitely spend a wonderful time here.
Did the Estate "tour". $66 for a 3 minute tour, terrible value.
How does this, at time of writing, have a 3.9. We drove by and said “wow, we’ve never heard of this wine but look how big it is!” Dear god, do not stop here, this is not the place for you. The first wine served by a lovely person who clearly didn’t know too much about wine had us all saying - “hm, does this smell like gasoline?”. But the taste was...marginally better than gasoline. If this was the case for one wine that would be fine but no, every wine we had a similar thought. From what we can tell this is some sort of front or laundering operation. This is the only vineyard I have paid for the tasting without buying a bottle of wine. Avoid this like the plague. I feel sorry for west Kelowna that this is in such a place of prominence to their otherwise wonderful wine region.
Beautiful building....unfortunately that's about it. This is the Walmart of Okanagan wineries. A disrespect really. Row after row of the exact same wine. Muscat after Muscat, ice wine after ice wine......this is not what okanagan wine is about. Unfortunately it is the first stop of many wine tours. Don't waste your money here. There is so much better to come just meters down the road. As an example, I took my wife by Grizzli to see what I was talking about on a Saturday evening about 5:00 pm. We visited a few other wineries in close proximity, bustling with people enjoying great okanagan wine. We entered the parking lot to see a handful of vehicles.....They belonged solely to the staff. We were the only other people in the building. You need to realize, tourist season is only a couple months of the year, ....what then???? Locals pay good money for good wine. All year.
Nice winery and friendly staff. If you like ice wine this is the place to go
Really enjoyed our time here!
The winery was great, the architectural design of the place was amazing. The wine tasted lovely. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly, which made our experience that much greater. The ice wine was fantastic and would recommend that to anyone that goes. We went for the vineyard tour which was really fun. I would highly recommend this winery for anyone traveling to Kelowna for a mini vacation!
It was a Fringe venue. Very open airy and pleasant space and the. Entertainment was excellent.
Nice tasting, a little bit pricey but the wine are really nice. A place to visit if you are looking for a nice bottle!
I was at Grizzli Winery this past Friday. Their fruit and ice wines were amazing! Kayla was super friendly and helpful! Would definitely go back when I go back to Kelowna!
Wonderful place! Great experience overall. Like that it is spacious and you don’t feel crowded during wine tasting like in many other wineries. Nice festive decor! It felt more intimate and personal for us and our guests. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable! We learned so much about their wine! Blueberry one is delicious and we really enjoyed ice wine and it’s story. Oxana was helping us and she really added to the overall experience. Thank you! We will be coming back! ;)
Great wine, great atmosphere, awesome experience
Came from Toronto to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and I can't think of a better place to kick back and relax. A glass of great wine in one of the most beautiful wineries I have ever seen, while surrounded by the breathtaking backdrop of the great west coast interior. The staff is professional and the ambience is perfect for every occasion. Would definitely recommend to stop by with friends and family, or even as a nice retreat for yourself.
The wine here all tasted off. It was legitimately the worst wine I’ve had at an okanagan winery, possibly the worst wine I’ve ever had. Pinot noir looked brown instead of red. Whites smelled like spirits and tasted awful. No one in our group could finish the tasting samples. Gross.
beautiful winery
We had a great time tasting the exceptional ice wines. Amanda did such a fantastic job we came back later in the week and bought more wine!
Very good wine. $$ a bit more then I'm use to but delicious..
We found this lovely place on a Kelowna wine tour in 2017. When to first pull into the parking lot you are greeted by a nice group of espalied grapes that they use for the wonderful ice wine that they make. Our tour was guided by Distinctively in Kelowna. Great tour guide. Once out of the bus you then get to see this massive, handsome building that is just amazing given its size and it's attitude. It just means business by looking at it. (I have a fascination with timber frame buildings). Then you get to go inside. For a tasting and to check out the shop. Beautiful. The ice wine is like the best you can imagine. We bought 10 bottles between our group. Then as we were leaving the parking lot, our guide filled us in a bit about the owner and his current situation in life......I must say......Jon Chang, you are amazing to have created this place, and wherever it goes and wherever you are, Thank You for Grizzli Winery. It was something I won't soon forget! #LetsGuide
Red ICEWINE is only produced in Canada and sold here. Got Mandarin introduction video for ICEWINE. Staff not pushy and some staff can also speak cantonese. Free shipping to China and Taiwan as well.
Had a fantastic experience, and loving all the new "support local" merch they are bringing into the gift shop! Not to mention the new market...absolutely 10/10!
Beautiful place with a respectable list of choices to sample. The wine wasn't exactly my taste but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be for you. Some very sweet options and a few dry options.
I've been to Grizzli winery for a few different events now. I absolutely love their wines, and when they pair them with food featuring other local vendors, topped off with live jazz music, you can't go wrong. The Meritage is my favourite red! It's beautifully decorated inside and the staff are very friendly. I will be back.
We should have left as soon as I saw they mostly featured fruit and ice wine and the server said they like to do things “a bit differently”. The 3 reds we tried were overly sweet and awkward. It’s like they just took their ice wine and attempted to turn them into other red varietals. I should have read these reviews before we went. We bought a bottle cause we felt bad being there just before closing. Trying to currently choke down this $35 Merlot which was the “best” of the 3 but honestly tastes like prune juice.
(Translated) Really great. (Original) 真的很棒。
(Translated) Good professional Jinjie Icewine, the wine is full of strong fruity aroma, worthy of everyone's taste (Original) 好專業的進介冰酒 酒充滿濃濃的果香 值得不值得 各人口味
Expensive tastings that are not waived if buying a bottle, all wines are expensive as well. The cabernet sauvignon was decent, did not care for anything else. Paid $8 for my tasting and will not take out of town guests here in the future.
Nice variety of wines, we loved their ice wines (especially the merlot!) and the raspberry wine
I bought a 2014 Cab Sav. Tried it. It tasted sour. I let it air out, and tried the next day. It was still sour. I love Cab Sav wines, but this wine way yucky!
Not even worth one star.... Grossly overpriced swill is about the best way I could describe the wine here...... Seriously,... $70++ for a Cab Franc that was so bad I nearly choked on it. I could name dozens of wineries with far, far superior wines at HALF the price or less. Never set foot in there again. EDIT: ..... Following the response from this winery below, I must now clarify,.... Instead of $70 ++ (which indicates well MORE than $70 ....) The sticker price of the wine we almost choked on was in fact $91.85 per bottle...... You have got to be kidding. Seeing as how I'm back in here,..... The 2017 Riesling we tried was NOT an Okanagan Riesling in any way, shape or form. OMG people,... Go try a Riesling at Quails Gate, 8th Generation, La Frenz, Monster, Wild Goose, or for the absolute King of BC (or all of Canada for that matter) Riesling go to Synchromesh,.... Anywhere but here. & the 2015 Muscat we were served was easily 4 years past its prime,.... This has most likely gone bad in the bottle....... Since when does any winery in the Okanagan offer 6 year old semi sweet white wine at their cellar door ?
Wine tasting very good. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable.
Purchased several bottles without wine tasting due to the COVID, as I’m a really cautious person. They have nice environment, which gave me good impression, and I’m a really busy person, just took several and on my way. It turns out such a wrong decision. The wine, from the white to the red, all taste terrible. I shared with my family and friends, no one likes it. I have to give most to my mom for cooking, such a waste. Especially the red, it’s not red but brown color, very suspicious.
Grizzli is different from most wineries in kelowna; it has a very large big box store feel with tons of room for tasting. The wine is very nice but the ice wine is amazing!
Amazing white wines as well as very interesting fruit wines. Thank you to our server Oxana for a great tasting!
The Christmas Market tonight had a wide variety of local business’s. From beautiful hand made jewelry, bath bombs, crafts, fragrant soaps, cookies to hand knitted items. Plus you can also enjoy some wine tasting for yourself and sparkling fruit beverages for your youngsters. Outside had a food truck serving delicious cinnamon and glazed donuts with coffee and hot chocolate. There was also a Christmas Market outside, selling clothing and more delicious treats. You can stay warm around a fire pit while listening to some Christmas music. Wonderful Christmas light display. There is also another Christmas Market inside the back building selling delicious baked goods, fruitful jams, and salsa from a local business. You can find some toys for youngsters, we were also fortunate to see Santa and have a wonderful picture taken. Outside could use a couple more fire pits. We enjoyed a wonderful night out with some wonderful people and great ambience.
Very good water, It is a must try, the water is not to H20-y although it is till amazing, 10/10
I’m typically a red wine drinker, but their white is to die for! Very reasonable prices and an excellent experience all around.
Great experience with Bruce. He is very professional and sophisticated. Their white wine and ice wine have distinctive flavours. If you love white wine this is a place that you must go!
(Translated) Unfortunately, this attraction has very little to do with a vineyard / winegrower. As the boy who gave the tour himself said: it is primarily a new attraction for buses full of Asians. Undrinkable wine, a small vineyard, a huge production area and a hall full of wine to sell. Uncomfortable and cold. Stay away here! Wegblijven hier!
Really cool experience. I enjoyed sampling the ice wine here. Really down to earth people working here and it really made for a unique atmosphere. Excellent customer service from Natalie !!
Of all the more than 200+ wineries in the Okanagan region, this must rank among the worst. It has obviously been built to focus on Asian tour groups, featuring a half-dozen tour bus bays, a 185 foot long tasting bar, a cavernous and sterile ambiance, giant displays of bottle racks, maple-flavored products and expensive, wretched wine. A shameful expenditure of an estimated 30 million dollars. And for a little more insight try Googling "Grizzli Winery Owner." Your tasting fee is better spent elsewhere in the near vicinity.
Amazing experience and great community!
Stopped here on our way home. Pleasantly surprised by all the artisans on site and the live music. Our hostess, Madison, was very knowledgeable and recommended their 2015 Muscat to pair with our salmon dinner and she was spot on. Definately would go back.
Amazing showroom for the winery and all of the crafters for the Christmas Market
Love the live music venue, great artists
First time been in the winary while we are on the way to Banff. Good quality icewine particularly the red Merlot. Well worth the price, and ask for Natali if you are Chinese and she is very informative and honest for their wine.
Very nice venue. Staff were friendly wine selection was pretty good.
Jilly was the best!!! Highly recommend!!! Excellent from start to finish.
Ugh. All flash and no substance. Very nice tasting room and live jazz and local artisans displaying their wares. The problem, and it was a big one, was the wine. I struggle to find the words to describe how bad and disappointing all the wine was. Skip this one.
Very nice place. Great service
Very beautiful building, amazing service by Oxana, very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
We went on a wine tour and our last stop was here, Bruce was absolutely amazing and helped us throughout the experience and I would definitely recommend to all friends and family and come back :)
Tourist trap. Cold atmosphere. Wine is overpriced and too young.
Fantastic winery! Beautiful architecture, and lovely staff made my many experiences there wonderful - can't wait to go back!
Arrived 45min before closing on Sept. 13, hoping to catch a quick tasting. When we asked for a tasting, we were greeted with great disappointment from the 2 servers. We went ahead with our server but were consistently rushed to choose our wines, which came with zero taste introduction or explanation. Wines are also not great. Without any info from our server, we were left to our own devices. Did not enjoy any of the wines. We experienced horrible service from our server (who wasn’t wearing a mask or keeping spacial distance from patrons during these times). He was a young man presenting outward frustration with everything during the tasting. Overall, would not recommend a visit here.
We had a great time tasting the different varieties of wine. People are friendly. Suggestion though is for the company to focus on educating guests about wine making and growing grapes than selling them wine.
Went to the Friday night Night Market. It was pretty good; the lobster roll at the Lobster Pot was ok (had much better in Novia Scotia), did the wine tasting inside the overly spacious winery which some were not bad, the solo musician inside was actually decent but the live band outside was not worth the 25$ cover, luckily I did not pay.
The most relaxing weekend at the Grizzili Winery in West Kelowna!!
It was a Fringe venue. Very open airy and pleasant space and the. Entertainment was excellent.
Bruce was great. Very knowledgeable and kind. Gave an excellent service!
Great but expensive wines. Very high end atmosphere with typical ‘busy winery’ fast service. If you like the fancy places it’s worth a stop (try the ice wines) but if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed than you should skip.
Such a bad tasting, we were the only ones in there and everyone other winery in west Kelowna was packed on the Saturday. The wine was horrible and I bought a bottle of Pinot noir just because and opened it 2 weeks later, the cork broke and it tasted like soy sauce
Very friendly staff in a big airy building. A MUST if you are a fan of ice wines: four distinct ice wines on the tasting experience.
Beautiful place and the view is amazing!
Raspberry wine was awesome. Success had a great vibe.
They have a nice selection of extras to purchase here, i love the paintings, chocolates, and mustards and Jams.
lovely hostess, great service, will come again
Gorgeous place and success was such a gentlemen
The same owner as that of Lulu island winery. It does not look like winery. It is more like a shopping place.
Good selection of ice and fruit wines
Beautiful building with a grand presence. The staff are pleasantly knowledgeable and educated us about the different wines with being pretentious. I especially liked the Ice Wines. The rest of the offerings were not to my tastes but each to there own.
Labelling on bottles peeling and poorly done. Concerning a winery would shelve bottles that look this way. The host had on a stained shirt, it was just not very sophisticated for the effort they seem to have put into the building.
Bruce was the best! Great experience with super friendly staff and amazing wine. Beautiful winery, would recommend.
Great wine, beautiful building!
Amazing tasting experience, success was a great host!
Pricy wines but nice tasting options. They have a greater selection of icewines than other locations. Lots of tours rolling through.
We a big group of visitors met the crew Bruce here early July. He's patience providing information of each wine and even took us to have a glimpse of the winery production. Thanks!
Excellent place
Best icewine
Wine tasted off. Went there on the Saturday a few days ago. It smelt like tequila and looked brown. Another one smelt and tasted like it had been opened and then sat in the bottle for a couple weeks. I think all their samples had been damaged or oxidized. I had never tasted wine that bad before. Shame on you grizzli.
Beautiful Winery, Super Modern .. The wines they are serving by the glass for the tasting have enough of aging to be delightful ! I do recommand this winery for everyone who enjoy classic wines, with a presence and texture. Cheers ????✊????
Wonderful Icewine, kindly staff and great service
I almost didn't come to this winery because of the low rating but I'm exceptionally glad I did come. Their wines are pricey as some people have said and it is a large room but the wine itself is unique. I loved the raspberry wine and their Meritage is unlike any wine I've ever had before (in the best possible way). The wine matters more than your look.
We came from vancouver to spend the week here in Kelowna. Stopped by at this winery today... Beautiful structure and the tasting bar is HUGE! Got a chance to speak to the manager, he was super friendly and very hospitable. Will definitely come back for another visit in fall. Keep up the good vibe guys.
Fantastic visit, such wonderful staff, friendly and inviting and SO smart! Oh and my wife AND even I enjoyed the wines (I don't drink, at all, ANY KIND. For perspective.)
The wine is quite good actually but better wine for a better price at other wineries. Starting with Mount Boucherie. Ambiance is very big box store and cold. The utilization of the space in every way is about 3%. They need a broader selection of entry level all the way up with some marketing to drive some serious traffic to use some of this gargantuan tasting room
nice wine
Beautiful place and nice staff. Bruce in Grizzli made us very comfortable and helpful for choosing wine. Very tasteful wine, so i had to come next day for another bottle.
Very nice place for wine tasting and purchasing...
Really good staff, had a really great time!
Great service, awesome wine but the ice wine is what you really should come here for. Didn't find the price to be too far off from anything around the area. Will definitely be coming here every time I stop in Kelowna. Keep up the good work!
Went there for a wine tasting with a trio of close friends on a quiet Saturday. 2 stars. One for atmosphere [big box store], and one for the staff [they were very kind]. Other than that, this is a complete waste of time. The wine is young and without character. Even the taster was open about how they spent all their money on the tasting house and were unable to flesh out their offerings. The punt in the bottles is massive and the density of the glass is heavy and unneeded. The whole offering smacks of "trying to seem rich, while not being wealthy", like a housewife boasting about a knock-off handbag to her cheap friends. This is style over substance in the purest form. "VQA"? Maybe remove the "Q" and I might buy another bottle... at 1/2 the ridiculous price. There are 10 better wineries within a 5 minute drive.
Amazing service, well knowledge staff and great quality wine! A must stop when in Kelowna
Highly recommend this Winery. Especially, I liked Icewine. It is the best wine I have ever tasted. Worth to try!
Thought we would give this place a try as we were on our way to Quaills Gate. Sad to say that the wines are mediocre at best.
Scott was amazing! So informative, love his energy!
The wine is incredible, the Christmas decorations are stunning and the staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming! Grizzli loves its community and shows it by hosting local musicians, artists and artisans in its fabulous winery! Grizzli has it all, great wine, lively music, fabulous art exhibits and inspired local vendor markets. Well worth visiting!
Outside looks really nice and impressive. But the inside is very empty and hollow feeling. Pricing looked alright but in was the most boring stop of our winery visits. They have the same products over and over to try and fill the space. A/C was nice and they had some interesting desert wines. But just not worth the visit.
My daughter was visiting from Oregon and I wanted to show her my art display at Grizzli Winery. We sampled the wine and loved the ice wine and the Gewurztraminer. We bought 2 bottles. The beautiful girl who served us had a wonderful personality and described the wine perfectly. Loved our visit!!!
We came all the way from vancouver to visit this winery. Bruce explained with details the composition of every wine and made us enjoy our wine tasting at its fullest.
Beautiful setting for events. We enjoyed the Harshmellows band!
Woof. Poor service combined with a massive, empty, almost sterile environment make this a must-miss on any Kelowna winery tour. Take a few more steps down the road and hit up Black Swift instead!
Success was great and we enjoyed our tasting! Great wine selection :)
Great looking facility and friendly staff. Bruce at Grizzli made us feel very welcome and was helpful in making selections for purchase. A young winery, but the owners are obviously heavily invested in its success. It shows. Particularly enjoyed the ice wine selection
This place is soley for chinese big bus tourism. The winery doesn't fit into the okanagan wine culture. Save your money and your dignity and goes elsewhere. There are plenty of gorgeous and sincere wines to be discovered in this valley.
Gorgeous place and amazing service! My sister and I came here on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 24 and enjoyed a wine tasting. Bruce was the one that did our wine tasting and he was nothing but professional, friendly, and kind. He was very knowledgeable with the wines and he gave us great detail about how they were made in the winery. Bruce is definitely a great asset to this company! We loved all of the flavours of each wine we tried. We ended up purchasing the blueberry wine and the Riesling. Both excellent. Clean and well decorated place. Spacious and we loved the art gallery. 10/10 would recommend!
terrible service and sangrias. We went on a saturday and they advertised sangria saturday's. after taking our sangria order, the server promptly brought us our bill before we even got the sangria. When i asked why she said "just incase you walk off?" we were shocked, when we said we'll start a tab we may get another, she picked up the bill walked away annoyed as if we had offended her. she brings us the sangria and there was maybe 2ounces of wine in there with a fruit popsicle in it. service and the taste was not worth a $16 sangria! this photo is of the sangria untouched as soon as she brought it- absolute rip off!
Wine was brown and cloudy. Not worth the price. You can find better in the Okanagan. Its just not here.
Beautiful Winery with a great selection of Wines and knowledgable staff that make the visit memorable. Make sure to try the Ice Wines, Easily the best in the Province!
best icewines in the area! family friendly, great experience, staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
beautiful building but the worst wine ever. All the friends and family that have visited have hated all the wine too. My dad even told the sales girl that he thought the wine she was serving had turned.....But it was all that bad. I'm embarrassed that people visiting Kelowna go there and think this horrible stuff is supposed to represent the amazing wines that come out of this region.
Very nice winery with polite and accommodating staff. Ice wines and fruit wines are a must try.
(Translated) Tasting ice wine is very special (Original) 品嚐冰酒 非常特別
We had a reservation booked, even after hearing terrible reviews. Walked in and the place was dead, just two groups doing tastings in the HUGE facility. We waited and were never greeted or even acknowledged. Eventually decided the wait wasn’t worth it. There are so many phenomenal wineries in kelowna that offer amazing wine and exceptional custom service that I wouldn’t waste my time here. There is also a lot of controversy surrounding the founders of the winery.. makes you question their morals.
Great experience, reasonable tasting prices.
I had the pleasure of visiting Grizzli Winery today during my West Kelowna Wine trail tasting. The staff were attentive and the wine was amazing. I will be coming back for Viognier multiple times as that wine completely surpassed my expectations. Make sure to try out their Raspberry and Blueberry wines as well.
Awesome experience! Bruce was super nice and introduced myself and my group to an amazing selection of wine :)
Good!
The dependent took his time and explained his wines, the process. I tried some delucious wines and ice wines. I'm not an oenologist but they taste good. My non traditional one the blue berrie wine
Lots of wineries in Osoyoos great day
We had Summer as a server today . I want to mention she was kind , knowledgeable and professional ! Will be back for sure !
This place is a big step up from when we first visited it in 2016. It was just a big empty space and a whole lot of tourists! I love the vibe they are going towards. I will definitely stop by just to sit around and relax. It is the perfect place for friends to gather and enjoy wine and cheese. I cannot wait for the place to be fully refreshed.
I visited Grizzli for the first time for their live music and night market. I brought my dog and really loved how it was a family and pet friendly place. The wine is great and the staff are super friendly! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area
Beautiful building and wonderful staff. On the tour bus route so can be packed at times.
The wine here is really great. The tasting bar is huge and the estate is gorgeous.
Terrible wine, seems like the whole place is setup for only one purpose, fitting as many people from tour busses into the place! That would be forgivable if the wine was even half decent. As lifelong Okanagan residents we’ve tasted a huge amount of local wines, and this is by far the worst we’ve both ever tasted.
Beautiful venue. Beautiful wood beam work and high ceilings. Wines are decent. Lots of reds which is unusual this far south of osoyoos. Lots of ice wines as well. I definitely recommend their jazz nights beautiful venue and the entertainer is very talented.
If you aren't Chinese or Taiwanese don't waste your time or money on this flagship for cheap Chinese business. Grizzli winery is very different from local wineries. Their focus is selling large quantities of wine to people from China and Taiwan on bus tours. In focusing on this aspect they have created a laughable local reputation. If you don't require a tour presented in Mandarin or Cantonese you don't need or want to go to Grizzli winery. Grizzli lacks wine selection but makes up for their lack of wine by selling low quality cliche Canadian goodies such as overpriced chocolate and smoked salmon. Grizzli is a tourist trap focused on only foreign sales.
What a beautiful facility, and the staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful
We stopped in at the Grizzli and so glad we did. It is a very grand and beautiful facility. The Grizzli gives the other wineries a run for their money. It is beautifully decorated and had art pieces on display at the time. We were so pleased we were allowed to go on a wine tour of their location. Wine tours was an experience we were hoping for during our visit to Kelowna but realize it's hard during Covid times. The guide was interesting. The tasting was good. Their ice wine were delicious. It's worth the stop.
We were visiting Kelowna from Ontario and we had a wonderful wine tasting at Grizzli Winery! Josh was very knowledgeable and his passion for the wine industry was evident with his genuine enthusiasm! Great tasting Wines and a Great Overall Experience! We can’t wait to come back!
After visiting several wineries we arrived at Grizzlies. Amanda took us through the offering then took the time to fully explain how we should taste then. Fresh glasses for each wine, water and crackers between glasses. This was then must professional tasting.
Amazing wine tasting experience. Bruce is very knowledgeable of each products. Ice wine tastes amazing. Highly recommended.
Stopped by before they closed today. The sales welcomed us and offered us great services. Went through tasting and it is already past their closing tine. But he didn’t rush us at all. We left with a good bottle of white wine and warm feeling of their great services. The view of the winery is also beautiful with sunset. Will come back again.
Because we look young and have kids, we did not get served. My husband and kids were with me and we were looking forward to buying multiple bottles but I was unable to try any wine. Multiple employees standing around and loading dishwashers and not helping us in any way. When we asked she said she was busy. Felt very discriminated against because we had kids and we will not be returning. I have lived in the okanagan 25 years and have never had this issue before today.
Our family went to visit the winery on August 10, and Bruce did a tasting for us. The Cab Franc is wonderful, we purchased a bottle and can’t wait to open it. Icewine was delicious. Plus, we purchased a bottle of 3L Merlot for our Christmas dinner! Will be back for sure.
Great service, delicious wine!!
We were welcomed by lovely staff, tasted great wines and the artwork on showcase was amazing.
I really don't know what to say. Large cavernous place, small selection of wine. Suspect, about some of the wine but that is only my opinion. Lots of staff willing to help with a tasting. Looks like an empty building on the grounds that could be used for future group functions such as weddings. Really just OK. Thanks ...
The 2014 Reserve Cabernet Franc is definitely a must-try!
At first sight a great establishment, upon experiencing it. Worst customer service in Okanagan, all staff clearly irritated by the terrible live music that was obnoxiously loud. Potential high, everything else 1 star and below.
My fiancé and I visited Grizzli Winery yesterday for the first time. Grizzli was one of 12 West Kelowna wineries participating in the “Sip with your Sweetheart” self-guided wine tour event. This was such a fantastic opportunity to see what different local wineries have to offer. Some blew us away while others ranged from sub-par to simply unpleasant. Grizzli fell into the “sub-par” category. We sampled 4 different wines during our visit – all were OK but nothing exceptional. The blueberry wine was our favorite and we did enjoy the little piece of cheesecake they paired with the sampling. Although the massive building looks impressive from the outside, inside it feels cold and impersonal – equivalent to being inside a sparsely stocked big box store. Our server mirrored our impression of the interior, cold and impersonal. He did not smile or engage us in conversation and seemed eager for us to leave unless we were going to purchase something. The wines are overpriced for what they are – but I guess they have to pay to heat that unnecessarily enormous building somehow!
Beautiful winery and great atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable
Beautiful winery and very nice informative staff. Loved the Viognier
Friendly staff and amazing ice wines.
nice tasting experience, great service of Bruce. I would recommend try white wine for sure. if you are dry red wine fans, they have awesome wines for you.
Went today for the first time. Great wine! Son loved the fruit popsicle! Recommend to visit!
The red icewines were very nice. Tasting prices reasonable
Bruce was great! Loved the experience.
Amazing experience. Ended up getting the white dessert wine and the blueberry wine. All the wines were so good it was hard to choose. Our wine expert Bruce was very knowledgeable and nice. Would highly reccomend this winery
Went for a event...was good
1 star for the nice building but everything else (i.e. service and wines) are painfully marginal
Very professional. And really great icewine
(Translated) Bear Valley Winery, a newly opened winery, is quite large and quite stylish. (Original) 熊谷酒莊,新開的酒莊,相當大,相當氣派.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff
Very sterile no character. Staff was friendly enough. Very expensive overpriced wine, that is not very good at all.
Love the ice wine selection here!
Spectacular venue, however absolutely disgusting wines! Tried the whites, reds, fruit and ice wines, they all tasted something along the lines of gasoline or paint thinner. All of them. Avoid this place if you can.
Pretty expensive, but really good quality ice wine! I believe we bought 3 bottles of ice wine and it costs us approximately 400 CAD? pair really well with cheese cake, or just drink them as dessert wine <3
Got lured by the lobster rolls. Muscat that we tried was ok. Quite empty on a Sunday..sunset views would probably be very pretty!
Company trip, wonderful experience! Bruce is very patient and speaks Mandarin! Spectacular oil paintings are around. MUST-GET for girls: Riesling & Viognier and any kind of ice wine.
I went wine tasting. I received minimum information about the wines. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
havnt been here since they 1st opened and will be that way in future, staff isnt very friendly wine isn't not for me this is my very least favorite winery.
To over priced
Nice experience, staff is polite nice and knowledgeable, yes it's main target is Chinese tour people, but They're everywhere and they are consumers so, can't blame the owner for making profit from these people.
This place gave us cheese with our wine tasting, which was great! I wasn't overly impressed by their selection though - but that could just be me!
I went to check out the tour with my girlfriend and it was really nice, especially the views. The Ice wine was great, I highly recommend if you are in Kelowna. Also, Bruce was an amazing host!
Great time, very solid experience with our man success!
Visited my gf we were excited to try it out, 8.00 per tasting and not waived. If you buy a bottle, the Merlot has loads of sediment we couldn’t drink it and no apology, wines were very expensive and not good, the lady that helped us spoke poor English and wasn’t knowledgeable at all, save your money do not go there’s too many wineries to waste your time on this one
I went to Grizzli Winery as part of the Collectif Zumba series - Zumba classes on the lawn. Amazing views, great instructor with fabulous music. And then, a glass of wine. What could be better? Wonderful experience, highly recommend.
AVOID THIS WINEY! The building is grotesque, despite attempting to fit in. Upon walking in, there is a vastness of nothing, no staff anywhere; once you walk around the corner, you then seen them all clustered together. Designed for large tour groups of people who want to buy wine, but don’t drink it. The wines weren’t good at all, they all tasted the same. The Sauvignon Blanc Icewine interested me, but missed the mark on what Icewine is and can be. I do not like giving bad reviews, but deemed this necessary since I was largely dissatisfied with this winery. I would not return and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. Even if you have a free tasting voucher (but I doubt they offer those). The only nice thing about this winery was the paintings they were featuring from a local artist. Other than that, I would avoid this winery!
