My fiancee and i arrived for our tour and were pleasantly greeted right away. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the staff amazing. We were fortunate to have our own guide for our tour, and Sarah was just outstanding. We cant say enough about Sarah and the journey she led us on, highly recommended! My fiancee being a wine drinker and myself generally a beer drinker, i found this tour to be outstanding. This is something we will definitely do again together, and if given the chance, we will be requesting Sarah. Thanks for a great day!!!!

I had the pleasure of going on grape escape bike tour with a few girlfriends. Firstly let me start by saying that none of us are very active, and we were able to keep up with our tour guide. She was amazing. The pace was great and she did a great job keeping us on schedule while still allowing us to ride at a leisure pace and be Niagra Tourist ( stopping and taking pictures everywhere). Secondly our tour guide was Peggy. She was knowledgeable about the region which certainly added to the experience. She was an excellent conversationalist, and even though we were only with her for a few short hours, it now feels like we've known her for a lifetime. Thirdly, if you are reading this review and are thinking of going in the fall or the spring, layer your clothes. But if you forget a couple of essentials Peggy's back pack was full off goodies such as rain ponchos and gloves. Grape Escape did a great job in taking care of the planning so that we could just have a leisure carefree day.

We had a great experience with Grape Escape. We had a party of 10 people, which I thought was too large since it was difficult at times to maintain social distancing. We had Kevin as our guide and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about wines and the Niagara region. We visited 3 different wineries. On the last winery we visited, all 10 of us were sharing 2 picnic tables, which was concerning since we were sitting so close to each other.

My husband and I went on the morning wine and cheese tour on August 6. We had such a great time! We visited a large, a medium sized, and a small winery. It was nice to experience a variety of wineries in the Niagara on the Lake area. The cheese and wine pairings were absolutely delicious! Everyone was so friendly and informative. I also loved that we got to taste ice wine on our tour. Our driver Duane was fabulous! He was so nice and friendly. We appreciated him carrying all our purchases to the van. Duane was also very knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting information. I highly recommend Grape Escape wine tours. We had a wonderful experience!!

I had so much fun on this wine tour. It was my first time and as a first timer I appreciated the tour guides Kevin and Pete. My sister has not been on a bike for 15yrs and they were so patient with her. The dinner had quality food, I would go back without the tour for sure. We rented bikes. It was the perfect tour for a Bachleorette.

What a wonderful day trip! We were picked up at our hotel at Niagra Falls and spent the day going to multiple wineries. Our tour guide, Bob, was accomodating, friendly, prompt. He really enhanced the experience and made us laugh. I would definitely take this tour again if I were to return to Niagra Falls.

Thank you Grape Escapes. I booked a wine tour and lunch, Rich was excellent with answering my questions, and provided great communication. Tom was our driver extraordinaire...he was punctual, professional and super duper informative. We went to three wineries: Jackson Triggs (excellent), Caroline Winery (Suzanne and wine were awesome) and lastly Pilliteri (Fabulous and Rob was great). Lunch was at Oliv Restaurant (food was excellent- service could be better as they did not offer us coffee or tea with our dessert). I will definitely book again and have recommended Grape Escapes to several friends and family members.

Ladies weekend in NOL - our fourth booking with Grape Escapes - second bike tour. While I would love to give the tour a 5 star rating as Pete our bike guide was spectacular a couple of things made me question rating the day even lower than a 3. Firstly - we come to the area in hope of trying new wines, with no opportunity to get the list of wineries visited in advance, it is luck of the draw. While advertising 75 wineries in the area - one would expect to visit some new places - 3 of the 4 wineries we visited were the same as our previous tour a year ago. This leaves us questioning whether we will try a new tour company next time in hopes of hitting more of the vineyards or planning something ourselves. My biggest concern of the day, was the social distancing that was lacking at all the wineries. We were a group of 5 and were teamed up with another group of 5 - that group from all over Ontario and we are from London. While we were required to wear masks when we got off our bikes to our tasting area - once at the tasting area masks could be removed. Problem being, the wineries squeezed us into ridiculous small spaces where no one could properly social distance - in fact most places we were so close we were touching each other - including this other group of unknown riders. One winery had all 10 of us in about a 15 foot span - staff were protected by a plexiglass shield - customers were totally at risk. We chose riding in hopes of reducing our risks while enjoying the wineries - ended up the transportation wasnt the issue but rather the vineyards themselves.

You get what you pay for when you book wine tours in Niagara On The Lake. This tour group I would 100% recommend. I’ve been on a few tours in the area and they were by far the best, most organized, and most concerned for our customer experience. Our driver, David, was such a wonderful guide. If you are able to ask for a specific driver, he’s the guy!!! I went on a bus with 7 other ladies and we had the best day! Thanks again Rich and David from Grape Escape!!!!

We booked this for our mom's 70th birthday and my goodness was it amazing. Our tour guide, David, was actually so fantastic and really made our experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic, we could not have asked for anyone better. I would 100% recommend requesting him as your tour guide. During our lunch, he went out and bought our mother a birthday card. Above and beyond are not enough to describe how amazing he made this experience for us. Everything was well organized. We loved the wineries they selected - the second one was with a lovely patio and serving food so we had a bit of a break and grabbed lunch after the longish ride to the first winery. The last one was a boutique one and very charming. We did the bike tour and our guide Ian was both knowledgeable and very personable. I had fun time with my girls and we are talking about making the bike tour a yearly tradition. Thank you for the great #momontheloose experience!

Our experience with grape escape was incredible. Our guide Lorraine went above and beyond for our group and was extremely personable. The small group size was perfect and the wineries we visited were all conveniently located making our bike tour a breeze. All the wine we bought (and we bought a lot) was picked up and delivered to grape escape where we started and ended our lovely tour. We would definitely do this tour again, they are so lucky to have a guide like Lorraine.

We had a great experience on one of the dinner tours recently. Our guide, Mike, was wonderful! A safe driver, he also checked in on us at the wineries and carried our purchases to the vehicles. His knowledge of winemaking, the Niagara region, and the smaller wineries really enhanced our experience on the tour. Covid-19 protocols were logical, reasonable and respected, but not overbearing. Would definitely recommend!

The Grape Escapes van picked us up on time and was spotless. The driver, Denis, was the perfect tour guide. He opened the van door for us and was so polite. Denis talked about the history of Niagara on the Lake and showed us some points of interest enroute to our first winery. He never told us to hurry up nor did he makes us feel like he was waiting for us. He carried all our wine purchases and stowed them for us as well. Thank you for a great time.

We had the most fantastic and truly kind tour guides which made up for the 2 winery tours that were not the greatest. 2 out of 4 wasn’t too bad. This was an amazing tour. I would definitely recommend it. We went on the afternoon tour to four different wineries (1 bigger one and three smaller). The tour guide David was absolutely wonderful and we had such a fun time. We were visiting NOTL for our honeymoon and David left us a congrats card in our one wine bags that we found when we got home. It was fun to meet other couples as well on the tour.

Diane took us on a tour this morning. I was in a party of two people along with another party of two. We stopped at three wineries. Diane was a great guide and very friendly. We had an awesome time and would definitely go again as there are many combinations of vineyards to visit and couldn't do them all in one day! Definitely recommend Grape Escape Wine Tours if you are considering an experience similar to the one we did today. Maybe we will try a bike tour next time, too!

Fantastic first experience with a guided bicycle wine tour. We celebrated a birthday in our family group of five. The wineries were family run with a great selection of wines you won't find at the LCBO. We've done many wine tours but never exclusively family run vineyards. So many family run vineyards go unnoticed and it's a real shame as the three on the tour offered some new favorites. Our guide Pete kept us safe, took pictures for the gram, and educated us on tasting. We'll be trying the lunch tour next before winter comes. Highly recommend as they not only exercised proper Covid-19 precautions but exceeded our expectations. Go with Pete if available.

Took a private bike tour with our group of 12 to 4 different wineries. There was a mix of big and small. Lots of varieties of wine, many unavailable at the LCBO. The tours themselves were educational and fun. The wine was enjoyable and many of us bought some. The biking itself wasn’t too strenuous and we felt safe in the routes chosen.

I would give this place 500 stars if I could! They were absolutely wonderful. I have a muscle condition and wanted to bring my own bike that has pedal assist. They let me drop the bike off the day before and we’re even giving me a discount because I had to bring my own bike. When I showed up the next day I realized I had forgotten the battery for the bike! Not only did they drive me back to the rented house to get it they did it with huge smiles on their faces. I didn’t feel judged or like I was an inconvenience at all. In my haste to get the battery I didn’t realize I had also forgotten my small computer for the bike. When I got back to their store and realized my blunder Rich made a call and saved my trip! He arranged a scooter rental for me, drove me to the rental shop and refused to let me pay the rental fee even though it was totally my fault to begin with. I caught up with my group at the first winery and was greeted by Mac, a wonderfully lovable guy who not only made me feel comfortable but also insisted I relax and enjoy. The tour was amazing, but the best thing about the whole trip was the Grape escape employees. I highly recommend the Grape Escape wine tours if your looking to explore the Niagara-on-the-Lake area wineries.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary week ago. We had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tour with Grape Escape. This was our first wine tour and enjoyed every bit of it. Roger our guide was very welcoming and pleasant. During the tour he told us a lot history not only about the wineries as well as history about Niagara on the Lake. We enjoyed visiting the 3 wineries as well as the wine tasting. We also ate dinner at Oliv Tasting Room and Restaurant which is included in the tour. The food and service is great. I would definitely eat there again. We will also tour again with Grape Escape to visit other wineries and request Roger . I definitely recommend everyone experience a wine tour with this company

Wonderful tour and the stops were chosen perfectly for our bachelorette party! Our van was super clean and comfortable...BOB was an amazing driver; courteous, funny, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! He took so many pictures for us and our group....we had an amazing time! We went Saturday June 22 and were worried about the tour being boring but Richard made sure to choose great locations that met our needs and was more fun than we even expected! The picnic basket food was great and had good gluten free options as well. Helpful hint would be to bring your own water bottles for the trip for the hot days!

Amazing service and they allow you to return the bike after hours. They provide suggestions for wine routes as well. I left my water bottle there and they kept it for me until I was able to retrieve it at a later date!

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Canada from the US and joined Thom for the 4-stop winery tour with cheese pairing. If I could give this tour more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. I've been on wine tours in Cali, France, Italy, etc and had more fun that I ever have on a wine tour with Thom and crew. Thom was able to cater to each individual's wine preference and provide a unique experience for everyone - and even gave us enough time to sample wine after the tasting. Don't miss this trip. It's amazing. I even told my husband that it was my favorite wine tasting yet and he agreed.

This service is excellent. We had a full 4 hours, biked just under 20k, and visited 4 wineries. The guide and staff at the bike shop get 5 stars- they were fantastic, organized and knowledgeable. I wish there were a chance to eat on the tour- we started around lunchtime and i thought there would be opportunities to eat as wineries typically have food available (there was food at the wineries, but because of the tight schedule we had no time to order any). Frankly, i would have gladly traded the time spent learning about the production of wine at the first stop for a chance to eat later in the day. The four wineries we went to are lovely though- some we had been to before and some were new to us. Caroline cellars was our favourite!!! The ride is long, but getting a bit of exercise while you're drinking all day is really nice. It left all of us feeling great!! Highly recommend these guys!!

My girlfriend and I went there for a casual trip during the week. Even though we couldn't peek the inside factories due to covid restrictions, the overall tour was still a blast. Many thanks to our guide Pete. He was helpful in bringing in the boxes of wine we bought. Pete is comedic and knowledgeable in everything you ask him. The guys on the tour were also chill and friendly. Wineris were beautiful and the sponsors were awesome in answering all of my questions. They gave us extra glasses of wine from answering his trivia questions. Overall worth every penny!

The bike tour guides, Rob and Sarah, were about the nicest people you could hope to meet. For a modest price, my wife and I got rides to and from our bnb to the start location (and back). Our driver, Kyle, was so nice and conversational. The bike tour was really enjoyable and Rob and Sarah ensured the group was safe on the roads. We then went to tastings at four wineries that included some tours and snacks. Grape Escape even handled the wine we purchased so we didn’t have to hoist it around with us during the ride or at the other wineries. This bike tour made our trip really memorable! This was our very first wine tour and it was such a great experience. Booking online was very easy and the FAQ was very useful. Their customer service email, through Richard, was very fast to respond. We had Diane as a driver and she was very nice and friendly. She also gave us a mini tour while driving us to the winery and was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Great service - from booking the tour in NOTL to being dropped off at our airbnb. The tour included 3 winery stops and a lovely lunch to finish. Organized well, with more formal tour at the first stop while ending with a casual tasting at the last winery. The tour included discounts on some of the sampled wine as well! Our tour driver was attentive -he picked up our purchased bottles for us and gave us a fair heads up before we needed to depart for the next spot. Would recommend this tour.

What a great experience! This trip (and excursion) was a surprise birthday present from my wife, who had done extensive research on which company to choose. Proof positive! From our initial pickup by our morning driver (who forgot to introduce himself, but he was super knowledgable of the area, and took us on a mini driving tour as we had 10-15 minutes to kill on the way in), to Rich who runs a well organized shop with bikes that are in good condition, to Gwen, our tour guide who is not only very knowledgable in the area, but also passionate about her job and loves what she does. We got lucky because fridays tend to have smaller tours, we were a tour of just 4 people. It was really easy to get into one on one discussions with the various winemakers and guides at each location. Oust House make some great beer, but I would've liked to see more discussion of the beer making process and maybe even a mini tour of the brewery (opportunity missed!). Pondview were friendly, cheerful, and delivered a quality structured tasting (also, 100% accomodating of my lactose intolerance!). I'm aware time was tight, but it would've been neat to see a little more detail about the property and history of the winery at Pondview. From there, we joined up (slightly late) with Phil, who gave us a great tour of the Iniskillin winery and grounds, his passion as well showed in the various activities during the tour and his structured tasting. Food was OK there, but I think they could've done better (shredded chicken sandwich & salad), considering I know their restaurant's capability. The last winery (Reif) was the biggest disappointment, as the staff member running our "wine and chocolate" tasting spoke almost nothing of our wine, and completely of the "dirt" about the winery's owner, and his ex-wife Sabina. No tour, no wine discussion, just gossip. Sad, really. In the final leg, Gwen took the opportunity to take us sightseeing along the riverfront, and teach us some history about the area along the way. On our return, Bob drove us back home (and chatted with me the whole way back, again another staff member showing their love of their work and in depth knowledge about the wineries and the area.) Well done, Grape Escape team! OH! I can't forget Junior. Thanks Junior! You're a good boy! ;-)

Our Saturday afternoon private vehicle your with David went more than seemlessly. The vehicle picked us up at our residence in Niagara on the Lake and went through safety protocols (due to covid 19) and we started our trip to three different wineries. Along the tour David went out of his way to provide us interesting anecdotes and stories about the region, it's wineries, and most importantly its people. He seemed to have made a particular effort to discuss topics close to our heart, as he also made a conscious effort to get to know each of us personally. A safe driver and organized purchase collector, David made our experiennce unforgettable. I hadn't been on a bike for quite some time so I was a bit rusty on knowing all the rules of the road. Grape escape was AMAZING! I found the tour guide to be so helpful and conscientious, making me feel completely at ease. Whether a novice or experienced he guided and directed all of us making sure we all knew and understood what to do regarding both road and Covid safety. Very organized and our driver was the absolutely best. And even though the wineries were different to what was listed because of the current situation they were fabulous and loved having it reserved ahead so we could skip the line when we got there. The bikes worked perfectly fine and we had a great time! The only downside was that the basket I was provided with on my bike had rotten fruit and trash inside of it which made my possessions dirty and smell really bad. Other than that, we had a lot of fun riding around Niagara on the lake and going to winery's.

We took part in this wine tour with a group of friends (two groups of ten) and had an absolutely fabulous time. We did the afternoon bike tour (no lunch version). I will be recommending this tour to everybody I know visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake. This company did such a good job addressing all my concerns (right side bike, helmets, road safety, etc.). When you arrive they have different sized bikes for all heights and different sized helmets. They fit everybody for the most comfortable bike and adjust seat height. They talk you through the road safety tips and how intersections will be handled. On the tour itself our guides (Margie and Graham) were champions, making sure we had the best and safest time possible. They paused at intersection to direct traffic (when necessary) and make sure we got through safely, they checked in to make sure the pace was good for everybody. When one of our group had an issue with their seat, Grape Escapes drove us over a new bike as we had our wine tasting. At every winery you could tell Grape Escapes has a great rapport with the staff and are very knowledgeable about their wines. Margie helped us change seating areas when needed (example: to a more shaded spot) and was on top of all the practical aspects (plenty of water, ensuring our purchases were labelled and picked up, washroom breaks, etc.). The views while cycling were fantastic, the wines were delicious and the pace ideal. For anybody concerned about practical aspects: - You cycle approximately 10-20 minute stints between locations, about 4 stints between locations total - You travel on mostly country roads (cars usually pass quite easily) - The pace is easy going but with a purpose (ex: as an overweight person I was fine, most of our group chatted the entire way) - I would recommend bringing snacks, sunscreen and sunglasses

My fiancée and I did the ultimate foodie tour guides by Rick, and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Everything was perfectly coordinated for us at all the stops, and the pairings were delightful and thought out and presented perfectly. He provided a wealth of knowledge of the region, and was conscious of our safety while riding on all the roads, especially the busier ones. I highly recommend this tour and would 100% go back to try another one of the tours at Grape Escape!! To be honest, this was way overpriced. While it was a great experience at the wineries we realized all we were paying for was transportation. The tastings at the individual wineries were around $10 Canadian for the same amount we got from the tour. So if you break down the price, the cost of the tastings were only $40... putting $130 for transportation for 4 hours. There was nothing special/different about the tour except the transportation. Next time I will not spend an arm and a leg and will organize my own tour. Not only did we have to pay for transportation but our guide left us at one location for an hour when the tasting was only 30 minutes... we were stuck there for 30-40 mins with nothing to do and were stuck waiting on her. We also ended the tour 30-40 mins early... so in reality we could have gone to at least one if not two more wineries in the amount of time that was wasted by the driver. Additionally the "cheese pairing" was not a cheese pairing at all. It was a plastic plate with what looked like cut up sliced cheese from the grocery store. Nothing unique or special or gourmet about the cheese. Won't pay for this again, didn't feel we got our money's worth.

He was so great to teach us about the region and each vineyard we visited (Lakeview, between the lines and hinterbrook) - he was always there to take photos of the group and made the best suggestions for places to take photos. Even drove us to see some awesome breweries we could visit during our stay and gave us maps with suggestions for the rest of the trip. 100/10 would recommend grape escape (ask for pat)!!! ** we are all fully vaccinated and told him he didn’t need to wear a mask around us **

It was a super hot day when we left at 12:30, and I think the value of the tour could be better. Over $100, but no water or snacks or provided for a 4hr outdoor trip? Easy improvement to make.

We had a tour with this company last Saturday. David was a fantastic guide... knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and he looked after stashing all of our purchases and even helped load them into our car at the end of the tour. David also gave us a lot of information about various restaurants, wineries, and breweries in the area which we checked out the next day and his suggestions were on point. The wineries selected for the tour was a nice mix and David was even able to squeeze in an extra stop before we went for dinner. Our dinner stop was at Oliv. Food presentation and preparation was excellent, but my steak was so-so. It's possible it just wasn't a great cut and it was borderline well done when I asked for medium rare. Given the cut I got that's probably a good thing. It was still good and I'm just being picky here. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Grape Escape again in the future.

We used Grape Escape for a 20 person bachelorette party this weekend and chose the afternoon bike wine tour option. I couldn't have been more impressed with the service from this company, especially because we had such a large group. Everyone was kind and organized from the bus driver who picked us up in Niagara Falls (Matthew) at our AirBnB to the 2 tour guides who brought us around NOTL (Ian and Amanda). The bus driver in the morning was early which was a great start, he was also kind and enthusiastic. When we arrived to the bike station we were all given coupons for a wine purchase throughout the day, fitted for our bikes and provided with properly fitting helmets. From there we were given clear instructions such that we would remain safe while biking the beautiful country roads in NOTL. The company also ensured that we had 2 tour guides, who situated themselves at the front and back of our group, such that we wouldn't get lost or split up. Ian and Amanda were outstanding tour guides, very organized, enthusiastic and patient. Finally, this was a very very affordable tour. I would go back in a heart beat. Thank you for making our brides bachelorette party such a memorable one.

Great fun experience! We did the vehicle tour with the gourmet lunch. We got extensive tours and tastings at 2 vineyards (Jackson-Triggs & Hinderbrook) and a regular tasting at a 3rd vineyard (Small Talk - my favourite). 11 good sized samples overall - and you can purchase more if you wish (~$8-10 for 4 samples). The small comfortable and air-conditioned bus (fits 14) picked us up at our B&B and went straight to the first location. There was never any rush, and we had time to take pictures, explore on our own, and talk to the wine experts there. The lunch at Oliv was AMAZING! We had a delicious creamy tomato soup, yummy salmon (and my partner's steak was perfect), and a small dessert if you could fit it. Our driver Brian was kind and attending - took our wine purchases right away. Overall a great day but wow does it tire you out (glad we weren't biking out there in the heat!)

He provided us with insight on the area with some very interesting facts. We did the all day lunch tour which included 4 wineries and a lunch. The wineries we visited were Jackson Triggs, Pilliteri Estates Winery, Reif Estate Winery and Strewn Winery. We had lunch at Oliv. We were guided by Christine at Jackson Triggs and she took us on a full tour of the winery and she provided us with interesting information on the start to finish process of wine making at Jackson Triggs. She was open to allowing us to try a variety of different wines (more than 3) which we were very pleased with. We then visited Pilliteri Estates Winery where we tried a few wines and met Mr. Pilliteri himself where we learned he works everyday at the winery along with his wife. After that we went to Reif Estate Winery and had our wine tasting with Neil who taught us the proper etiquette on drinking wine. We tried 3 types of wine with 3 types of cheese (this was a nice surprise as we didn't expect this and this was the only winery that offered us a pairing with our wine!) and we learned a ton of information that we didn't know such as the proper way to drink wine and the right pairings that go with wine. This was our favourite winery out of all 4 because of the valuable information we learned. We then had lunch at Oliv which was very good. We both had the salad, pasta and brownie for dessert which was all delicious. Our last winery was in the same building as the restaurant which was Strewn Winery. We tried several different wines here which were all great. We bought wine at every winery and had a great experience overall. I definitely recommend Grape Escape for wine tours! My husband and I just did the morning tour this past Sat and we had the best time ever!! David was our tour guide and he was so sweet and knowledgeable and funny. We went to 3 vineyards including Jackson Triggs, Pondview and Konzelmann all, of which, were fantastic. We literally laughed and drank the entire time. Totally exceeded my expectations and we can’t wait to go again. I’ve already started making plans with my extended family to come. Thank you so much for making my husband’s Birthday a memorable one for both of us. We’ll see you in the spring time.

Half way through the tour and it's an amazing experience. Edite, our guide is super friendly and so knowledgeable about wines and the Niagara area. Definitely recommend this to anyone for a day of fun.

From the fun bike rides between the vineyards to the beautiful food and especially the gorgeous wine tastings! My friend recommended this place for a bike ride wine tour so I came. It was the most fun I ever had on a wine tour. Our guide was hilarious and very approachable. We tried 5 different wineries and had dinner at Caroline's Winery. I'm going back again a year later (booked my tour for this month).

My husband and I did the "mid-morning bicycle tour-Saturdays only" option from Grape Escape, and we had a wonderful time! Our pickup from the B&B was right on time. We were fitted properly for bicycles at the main store and then led out on a great day by our guide, Sarah. We enjoyed each of the four wineries we visited and the bike ride was fun. Sarah was knowledgable, friendly, and supportive. Overall, we would highly recommend this particular tour with Grape Escape!

What an amazing experience all around! Went on the afternoon bike tour this past Sunday with Kevin as our guide. We were taken to a great variety of wineries which were all welcoming and informative. Kevin was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept our group of 6 socializing and entertained (3 pairs who met that day). The tour also collected any wine we bought to meet us back at our cars, which is a saving grace! Would 100% recommend to anyone.

This is the kind of company that ruins it for everybody. I’ll admit I can’t speak at all to the quality of their tours. I’m sure they’re 100% fine under normal circumstances. But with COVID cases approaching 1000 a day we all have to do our part and I don’t that this company is taking it seriously. While having lunch at a local winery restaurant, a large group came with this tour company for lunch. The people on the tour were completely out of control, not really social distancing with each other even though they were clearly from different households, switching tables, shaking hands and hugging some friends they ran into ...it was just uncomfortable to watch. I understand that folks get a little drunk and rowdy on wine tours but I think it’s up to the company to enforce COVID protocols not just for their guests, but to protect other people they might encounter at their stops. The wait staff at the restaurant were clearly not happy with the group but I understand it’s hard to turn people away in this economy. I noticed other reviews on here that also mentioned they weren’t enforcing distancing during their tour. If we get a call from the restaurant that someone we were seated near had COVID I guess we’ll know exactly who to blame. I hope someone from the company reads this and improves the way they do business or they’re going to ruin it for everyone.
