Succulent special of the day "the pork szneitzel with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes " was tasty and fairly priced. Their beer was good and their garden salad sufficed for two. Although a few pestering flies hovered around, this place is a delicious date night if you are out of town. Our waitress was also courteous and attentive. I'd say an 8/10 dining experience.

Staph food poisoning from lamb burger. Didn’t sleep the night I visited. Girlfriends roast beef ‘special’ which was ‘coming out of the oven medium’ was so over cooked I couldn’t swallow a bite. Drywall. Fun day in NOTL ruined by this dinner. At least I learned to never return.

Dry prime rib on dry bun makes for a dry lunch. Fish and chips we're what you'd expect: a piece of deep fried fish and some fried potatoes: so not worth the 20+ you pay for it including tip and taxes. So if you are looking for some ok food with gourmet prices this is the place.

Overall a great experience for ambiance and service. Ordered fish and chips, pork souvlaki, crab cakes as an appetizer and Reif Estate Chardonnay. Fish and chips were excellent. Souvlaki was overcooked and dry. Salad that came with the souvlaki was very good. So the down side to the meal was the souvlaki. That was a fail. Waitress fun fun and full of energy. Check the place out, just avoid the souvlaki.

Huge disappointment. The meat in the schnitzel and souvlaki was obviously undercoooked. The waitress replaced the schnitzel but not souvlaki (‘that’s the way it should be’ she said.) seriously? Chicken looking pinkish inside is the way it should be? Even when I got more thoroughly cooked schnitzel, it didn’t taste good at all; either the meat is not fresh enough or it’s poor quality but it tasted bad and weird. I really didn’t expect that because 4 years ago we had a great meal at this restaurant; we still have pictures of the lamb shank that they served as their special back then. This time, it was supposed to be a highlight of our long-awaited trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Instead it pretty much ruined our day. My daughter said she liked her chicken burger but she had stomach aches for almost an hour afterward which made me worried. I think it’s because her meat was also undercooked. Disgusting.

We were warned by our friends not to order the fish and chips. So we ordered the calamari for our appetizer. It was good, but very small portion size. I ordered the lamb burger, my daughter and husband ordered the prime rib sandwich. My lamb burger was a little dry. It came with a generous side of fries. I never tried the prime rib sandwich, so I can't comment on that. Place is a little pricey. But then again, Niagara on the Lake, is a favorite tourist destination in Canada, and one has to expect to pay more :(

My friend and I were visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake from Montréal. We were strolling down Queen Street where a lot of restaurants are and we couldn't find anything that seemed good AND inexpensive at the same time. Corks seemed like a beautiful restaurant just by looking at it from the outside. The weather was nice outside, although cold, we still decided to sit outside. The restaurant was pretty full for lunchtime, even at 3 PM. Their menu is very diversified and the food we had was delicious. My friend went for the pork souvlaki. She said it was truly delicious, very well cooked. I went for the fish and chips, the waitress told me that it was one of their staples, what people went there for. It was very good! One of the best fish and chips I've had in a while. The coleslaw salad had a bit too much vinegar in it for my taste, but the fries were delicious. We also had 2 beers, they were served in huge cups, we couldn't even finish them. All and all, the restaurant is very cosy, definitely worth trying if you're in the area and then strolling down for a walk next to the lake. It's located in a beautiful area!

We had lamb shank and lamb burger accompanied by a local wine. The wine was excellent, the burger too. The shank was a little chewy but overall it was a nice meal. They are open after 10pm so I would definitely recommend it for a late but nice dinner in town. If you order a bottle of wine and can't finish it you can bring it home ;)

We were in Niagara-on-the-Lake for a girls’ weekend at the end of March 2019. Corks became our temporary neighborhood bar to which we returned three nights in a row. The vegetarian samosas, Mediterranean salad and quinoa salad are delicious. They have a great selection of international and local beers on tap, and the bartender makes fabulous Bloody Marys and fresh raspberry cocktails. The best part, however, is the staff. They are kind, attentive, and work very well together as a team. Huge thank you to Adam, Kenji, Kaitlyn, Kate, Agatha, and anyone else we didn’t get the chance to meet, for helping make this one of our best trips. We highly recommend a stop at Corks. -Kim and Amy

Quality food restaurant. If you are looking for a good dinning experience for american style food, this is a good spot. From a good drink selection and excellent location in Niagara on the Lake, this is a good place to go. Parking is difficult as it is on the main street and there are no available parking areas. Also popularity for the place means you can have a wait time to sit and have a meal. But the food can be worth the wait if you arent in a rush.

My wife and I went to Corks for dinner. My wife had a hamburger which she enjoyed and I had the "voted # 1 fish and chips" which was truly awful. Frozen chips and wouldn't be surprised if the small portion of fish (soggy) was frozen also. Better quality at the local legion I would think.

I brought out of town guests to Corks so we can grab some drinks and taste local wine. Our waiter seemed annoyed that we weren't ordering food although this was 3pm on a weekday with plenty of open tables and not a lunch or dinner rush. It was super hot out and I asked for a big glass of water. The waiter asked if he should just bring a bottle for the table and I said that would be great thinking he meant a pitcher or a refillable bottle. The bottle was not large and barely filled the 4 small water glasses on the table and no one came by to offer us any refills. When we got our bill we were charged $5 for ordering "bottled water". Nice selection of wines but I won't be coming back.

This was a great place for a patio lunch. The covered, yet open, patio area was well sources out. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time we were here. The menu was simple and the drinks were tasty. We had the fish and chips. The fish had a nice, crispy, light batter, but the fries were nothing special. Good portion sizes though.

Our server was good. We're a little older and two of our party are a on the larger side. When they tried to seat us at a high top we objected and asked for normal height seating, which there was plenty of. Instead of offering us more spacious accommodations they jammed the four of us into a small table that was normally used to seat three. The food was okay, a little overpriced. I had the sausage arrabbiata which tasted okay but had less than 1/8th of a pound of sausage. My wife had the chicken pesto which was supposed to have some veggies in it though she found very few and the chicken tasted rubbery like it was cooked, frozen, then steamed. Tasted that same chicken treatment at another place up here so maybe it's a Canadian thing. Overall I was not impressed. Doubtful that I would return.

Just an OK place to eat. The cost is higher than average but still in the moderate range. My said the fish and chips were good. I found the philly steak sandwich which was a little tough, mainly because it is cut thick. Service is quick and friendly. Had a bite for lunch.

Was not expecting such a delicious vegetarian meal.. think it was the Mediterranean salad and veggie wrap... was hard not to eat it all.. great portions. I wished the hostess had been a little more accommodating with the patio. Was there with a friend here from Italy. Felt a bit dark at the back and felt a different atmosphere.. more for families or groups of young people I'd say. Would book ahead in future when visiting from Toronto.

We have been coming to Niagara-on-the-lake for five or six years now and every time we are in town we always go to the the Corks. The food is always great and the atmosphere is always cozy and lovely. Today, after initially considering to try another place to have supper, we ended up going back to the Corks. I ordered their special, roast beef, and my spouse decided to try their lamb curry. My roast beef tasted like those I buy at Zehrs or Food Basics, the kind that you just soak in boiling water for 15 minutes and walla...dinner is ready. Disappointing. The bigger joke was the lamb curry. After 30 seconds of my spouse searching for lamb meat we asked our waitress if they forgot to put the meat on the plate. There was a generous amount of onion ( I swear they use a whole onion on that one meal) and yellow bell pepper and three or four slivers of mushroom on top of the rice but no meat. The waitress went ask the cook, she came back with a tiny container of extra curry sauce explaining the meat is there. THE LAMB MEAT WAS PUREED! It looked like they put it in a blender and made smoothie. Definitely not worth $24 +. On our next visit we will definitely try other restaurants in the area.

The best fish & chips I have ever had. That being said, the portions were so good, I left most of the chips so I could enjoy the amazing fish. Perfect amount (just a little) breading, and great flavor. My wife loved her perogies as well. Combined with a choco beer and great prices, it was a great visit.

Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The hamburger my son ordered tasted as dry as a "cork". Waitress was so rude that she didn't even care when we brought it to her attention, let alone do anything about it. This place is not worth the prices they charge, and they even charge for water!!! After all this we didn't even get to decide how much gratuity we wanted to pay the waitress. She automatically applied her own 15% tip to our bill.

Wish I'd read the reviews before going here. Food was ridiculously priced. Imagine mediocre pub food for double the price. The fish and chips are 15$ for one piece and a handful of McCain fries. The appetizer was a joke. For 11$ we got four teensy cheese bites. We even ate the garnish in an attempt to make this price worth it (It wasn't). And considering a (starter) salad with chicken is 18$, you think they'd spring for ramekins instead of plastic cups. Definitely do not recommend. If you want pub food there's a dozen different, and cheaper, options around. The only thing saving this from a one star rating was the service. Waitress was super friendly and accommodating for allergies, and double checked with kitchen.

Corks was an excellent choice after a very enjoyable performance at the Shaw Festival. The drinks and appetizers were interesting and delicious. I had the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken and enjoyed every bite. Our server had a terrific personality and was helpful and efficient. Our friend was driving and when we walked back to the car someone had found his cellphone and placed it under the windshield wiper.

Voted #1 best fish and chips?? Voted by who?? Truthfully it was one of the worst fish and chips I've had. The fish was clearly frozen and tasted very mushy. At $15.99 its insanely overpriced considering the subpar quality. Also I must mention the rude waiter. Very eager to get us to eat our food and leave so other people can come sit. This guy was only interested in earning as much tips as possible. After we ate we decided to order a beer and the waiter says to us "oh so you guys are now just gonna hang around and have a beer?" Yes, after a meal you want to have a moment where you can relax and enjoy a drink, is that so wrong?? We felt very good about giving him a $3 tip, and to be honest I think that was being a bit too generous. I will never ever go again to Corks, its on my black list.

Definitely a Covid 19 restaurant. Social distancing is not a requirement by table set up. If your lucky to get the window tables to watch out on the street then you may share the 1 to maybe 1 1/2 foot distance between tables. Yes they do ask to sanitize your hands when you enter but then their sanitization ends. Plastic menus went table to table never being cleaned and then the debit machine was the same. For your safety they no longer offer tap water but at a cost you may purchase bottled. Yet a glass with ice you may get to keep your water cold. I do not understand how that is for our safety with their concern in mind or just a cash grab. Sadly they fail to see how we all could go back to stage one very quickly with their actions and respect to the guidances set. We all want life to be what it was but this restaurant shows no attempt to help us get there.

I love this restaurant. It's 1# "Fish and Chips". Everything is fresh. I like the soft and crunchy bread that just baked/toasted, delicious muscles and soup, fish fillet. It deserves to be the number one "Fish and Chips". The price is very reasonable. The covered patio is very nice.

Location and view is what got the 2 stars. Me and my family (husband and 2 very young kids) came here during the long weekend in May. We sat at the front "patio like" space they had which was pleasant. However, I found that our server needs more training. 1. Our beverage was water for the table, it made no sense that she gave us 2 glasses versus 4 when there was 4 of us; 2. We had to ask for another 2 glasses of water midway through lunch because we were hoping she would figure it out; 3. I had requested to have another tin of crayons so that it was a peaceful lunch without the kids fighting over the 1 tin of crayons, the server’s response: she physically took out crayons in the existing tin we had and gave them to one of the kids while looking at me as if I hadn’t thought of that solution; 4. Same case for cutlery, we were only given 2 sets rather than 4 as if my children (5 and 2 didn’t exist); and 5. No attention to refill the water. We had ordered the baked Brie, the burger and the goat cheese chicken penne. The brie was probably the best of the 3. The burger was dry and nothing special. The pasta was bland.

My friend and I had a delicious dinner here. We ordered the lamb pasta and the lamb shank and shared. The lamb pasta was a simple dish but it tasted very "homey" and there was lots of meat which is unusual in restaurants. I personally preferred the pasta over the shank which was still yummy. The meat falls off the bones as it should and my friend preferred this dish. I wasn't impressed by the house red, it just tasted like a generic red wine but it wasn't bad, just not my thing. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice (could go there for a nice date or to watch a game and hang out with friends).

The fish and chips were fine but nothing extraordinary for the price point which unfortunately is quite high even for the area, especially when it comes to drinks. Th waiter we had was incredibly friendly and understanding and when two of our part did not enjoy their meal, they were offered refunds which I found to be very generous.

Fun place, nice staff, and the portion sizes were bigger than expected...so overall, more value than expected. One thing...they told me ahead of time that the 15% gratuity is already included in the price and we forgot about it when paying, so ended up paying a second 15%. Just heads up. :)

My lunch was raw, I didn’t eat it and complained and still had to pay for it. My daughter’s lunch was missing the “real” bacon that the wrapped boasted! Overpriced. Never again!

They served my friend an uncooked Chicken Madeira... the waitress was super diligent with getting a new one prepared but then they didn’t take the dish off her bill or comp any of her drinks. We all thought that was a poor response to serving raw chicken and not having the pleasantry of dining with the rest of our table.

Also the fries was not bad, nothing special about it. Portions are a bit big since they provide a lot of fries with the dish. Would definitely recommend for others to try.

A very nice location and great staff. However - the closest vegan option they have is a dish of fettuccine with tomato sauce. In my case, this was essentially pasta that was a bit dry in one end, with what seemed like a box of cooked crushed tomatoes on top. A little bit underwhelming for the price tag is all.

Great little spot in historic old NOTL. Food was really tasty and very big portions, I had the shaved beef dinner. Staff was very friendly and gave advice on things to do in the area. Would be 5 stars but was a tad pricey even considering the area. Would recommend.

We have visited a few places in the region and this place was fantastic. You have to try the crab cakes! While the food was nothing out of the ordinary (the mussels came out a tad lukewarm), Corks Winebar & Eatery does benefit from supreme location and a quasi-outdoor area which allows for fantastic people watching and the experience of outdoor dining. The staff are friendly and attentive, and worked hard to get us out in time for our flight. A nice place to relax with friends on a loungey Sunday.

Food was not good at all. Everything was under seasoned. I had the veal shank the rosemary used as garnish should have been used in the braise to impart some kind of flavor. Red wine jus tasted more of that of store bought powder gravy mix and the red wine was not even aparent at all. Mashed potatoes were cold and stiff no flavor as well some warm butter and cream would have been nice and this thing magical thing called salt and pepper would have been nice. Brown green beans are never nice even more so when they have the flavor of a shoe. Next time try blanching them properly with salty water and a ice bath to preserve the color. Just care about what you put out.

Has very nice patio which can be very desirable on a nice sunny day presuming it's not too hot and staff is friendly quick and attentive. It has a Pub menu with some pasta dishes, burgers and sandwiches. There's a nice selection of beers on tap and wine. The food is fine not great just fine.

Boyfriend and I loved corks when we came in March 2020 and sat on their heated patio. We came back July of this year for my birthday and I was SO disappointed. The service was mediocre. The gyro was described as having sliced lamb on the menu, when I received it it was ground lamb. Absolutely disgusting, couldn’t finish it. The waitress asked why I didn’t finish, I explained that it was advertised differently on the menu and I didn’t enjoy it, her response was oh sorry. Would have been nice if I was offered something in its place. Left hungry. Unfortunately won’t go back.

Tried this during a slow lunch day and loved the service but the fish and chips were a letdown. Upon entering the hostess was incredibly friendly and really made us comfortable. We sat in the front patio which was warm and cozy on a cold winter's day. We decided to order the crab cakes to start which were moist and filled with crab which was delicious and my favourite part of the meal. We then ordered the fish and chips which was recommended. Unfortunately this was a letdown as it was too oily and lacked any flavor. I expected more for the price I was paying and would advise to order something else. All in all I would comeback as the service was fantastic but would stay away from the fish and chips.

I asked for what the special was and she said roast beef potatoes and a vegetable so I ordered that with a side of salad she brought my food with roast beef and a salad on the same plate no potatoes I sent it back and said the special was roast beef with potatoes and a veggie it looks really gross with the salad and roast beef and gravy on one plate got the bill she charged me for everything separately she said they sell it would cost 299 extra but charge me 12 bucks for a salad plus the full price for the special and I didn't get any vegetables with my meal so needless to say I only give it a one if that but the food was good I guess you're not supposed to order a special there they charge you for everything except what what it said price wise

DO NOT try and host an event here! Back in September I was planning my wedding to be in the Niagara region, I had emailed around looking for a place to hold my reception, and corks was willing to host it for me, while almost every other restaurant in the Niagara region was too busy or not taking large reservations at the time. While helpful at the beginning, now coming closer to my wedding in October, we were trying to narrow down details, while yes I fully understand the that covid is going on, a response from someone would have been great. I had been emailing with Maria, and all of a sudden the emails stopped. Trying to ask about decorations and no response. My mother had tried to call and ask about menu options, the phone was answered and while yes it was a busy weekend, we were told someone would call or email us right away, 5 days later and still not call or email. I sent out another email, reached out through their Instagram since they were active on their Instagram and posting,and left a voicemail again. With the uncertainty of this restaurants co operation, I had to make the unfortunate decision as to completely rebook my wedding just 7 months before, so thank you corks for not even having the decency to return a phone call or email to a very stressed out bride during the pandemic UPDATE: as soon as I sent this out, less than 10 minutes after I FINALLY received an email from them, pretty convenient and disappointing that’s what it took for them to respond

Had dinner here during our anniversary weekend trip. It looked amazing from the outside. Inside though....meh. Supposedly there was live music, but we couldn't hear it over the gaggle of girls there for a bachlorette party. I know the venue can't really help that, but it ruined the whole night for us as we couldn't even hold a conversation without shouting at each other. The food was so so, nothing to really write home about. No free refills on the soda, so be careful with that. And expect to wait a bit for your food. Overall, we wouldn't eat there again for dinner.

Don't waste your money. Such a disappointment after reading so many positive reviews. The food is poor quality at best. $9.50 for a Sangria, I don't want frozen fruit and water down fruit juice, I sent it back. The chicken maderia was $24.95, you get old green beans and carrots, a pile of mash potatoes and a pounded out chicken breast that was tasteless and covered in mushroom gravy. Overpriced and a waste of money.

Came here on a ladies getaway and sat outside on the patio on a busy Sat for lunch. Got in right away and were served fairly quickly. I got spanikopita with a mediteranean salad and my friend got the fish fry. Both were very good! Good portions and friendly service. Prices are about average for this tourist city. Can find most items $20 ca and under for lunch.

I strongly don't recommend it, very inattentive towards their customers and they showed me no respect at all. I came here on Friday evening, was waiting by the entrance to be seated for 15 minutes (despite the fact that many tables are available). One waiter asked me to wait and that he will be back shortly (I have never seen his face again after he went inside). I asked another waitress to be seated, she said that the other waiter will help me when he is back !! Like seriously, is this how you would treat your customers? I ended up leaving the place and going to another restaurant on the same street where I was treated with full respect.

Very over priced for flavorless food and beer. Their house blond beer is basically carbonated yellow water. The waiter described it as having great flavor. Couldn't be further from the truth. Their fish and chips were heavily battered with no flavour. I couldn't taste any flavor from the fish at all. The French fries were the best part of this meal and they were just average fries. Service was slow even though the place was not very busy. They charge top dollar because of their location but everything was just terrible. I'll never even consider going back.

The first thing that you'll notice about Corks is their menu - there are more options for beer and wine than there are for food. That's not to say it's a bad thing, because when you're at a restaurant that specializes in pub style food, your options are always going to be limited, and in this case, even more so, as they place a heavy emphasis on seafood dishes. We chose a patio seat, since it was such a nice day outside, and ordered a refreshing pitcher of Sangria. I'm not a wine person myself, but the sangria here was fantastic. It was not overly fizzy, and came with lots of citrus and berries, which added another level of flavour. As we sat outside, we noticed that the restaurant had an interesting black and white colour asthetic going. The use of white really opened the space us, making it feel airy and spacious, while the black brought it back down and gave it a more traditional restaurant aesthetic. It was simple, but it worked really well. As someone who enjoys pasta, I ordered the Mediterranean Delight Pasta, and my girlfriend ordered the Veggie Wrap. The pasta was fantastic, as it came with black olive, lots of feta and olive oil drizzled on top of the pasta. The veggie wrap was your typical veggie wrap fare, however it had one crucial difference that made it absolutely delicious - hummus. It brought the whole thing together in a way that a simple veggie wrap otherwise couldn't. The food was great, but again, it was more or less your typical bar/pub style food. I'd recommend this place more for their wide selection of wines and beers more than their food, as that seems to be what they're really interested in.

Came here today for dinner with a group of a six, but ordered two different beers on tap that both tasted very off. One was a cream ale and tasted like a sour beer and the other smelled and tasted skunky. This and the service led us to decide to eat elsewhere unfortunately, so can't speak on how the food is. As a side note, there were very few vegetarian options, especially mains.

Wait staff was a bit brusque, which I will put down to them being busy. Roast beef was overcooked and the vegetables were practically raw. When I complained they brought me carrots that had clearly been cooked in a microwave. Inedible as far as I was concerned. All restaurants in NOTL are pricey, but there are plenty that can compete better on quality. I will not be back, although, as they clearly do a thriving tourist business, perhaps that doesn't matter.

Great eatery and a popular place for a reason. After the show and a stroll along the main street in Niagara on the Lake (NOTL) we saw the menu outside and it looked good, reasonable prices and we thought we'd take a chance and go in. It wasn't filled up yet, a pleasant young lady asked us where we wanted to sit, we picked a nice window table and enjoyed the afternoon light coming in. The food was generous, the fish fresh and by the time we were half way through our meal the room had filled up. We were lucky we came when we did! And this was on a Friday afternoon in October so if you expect to get a table on the weekend get there early. And if you are lucky you will have Kaitlyn as your server, a smart, lovely person with a great personality.

RUDEST OWNER I'VE EVER SEEN!! If I could give 0 stars I would. We were here a few days ago and waiting in line to come in behind an elderly couple. The gentleman was struggling to get up the front stairs of the restaurant when a lady (who I assume was the owner) stormed out and yelled "Stop right there sir, you need to wait at the door like everybody else!" The gentleman was clearly shocked (as was I) and apologized. She proceeded to very rudely demand proof of vaccination from him and his wife. Not even one ounce of compassion for the man who clearly struggled with mobility issues and was just trying to make it up the stairs. I've never been more disgusted watching the interaction, and I can't believe I didn't speak up. I guess I was just in shock. My husband and I immediately got out of line and went elsewhere for lunch. I get that it was busy, and that protocols are complicated in the Covid age, but to not have a single shred of kindness or decency towards another human being was simply appalling. I will never dine here. I will tell everyone I know to never dine here. And I recommend to anyone reading this to never dine here. I've never written a single online review in my life, because quite frankly, my time is too valuable. But this horrendous display of customer service deserved to be called out. Disgusting.

Unpretentious and tasty lunch. We like eating outside on a veranda and when visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake we usually do not look for a fancy restaurant but rather for a quick lunch to spend some time walking around the town. Had lunch at Corks and though the service was efficient and friendly and most of our food that was ordered was good too. the French Onion Soup was diabolical. The food is really good. The front covered patio is a great space. Nice bar. Overall great vibe in there. Always a must when visiting Niagara ln the Lake.

Edward is amazing! This area gets a lot of tourists so it's always busy so it's refreshing to see a server with such a great aura and providing a great experience. The food was absolutely fantastic with very generous portions. All together it's our favorite spot on the strip.

Rainy day NOTL Christmas Parade day so we planted ourselves on their enclosed, heated deck. Enjoyed their homeade soup and peameal/bacon sandwich. Some 'beverages....amazing caesar and some beer samplers allowed us to enjoy the parade( 25yrs now) from the comforts of this lovely establishment. Would have got a 5star rating had the fries been fresh cut ;)...otherwise a great place for some great comfort food!

Went here to try the “best fish and chips in Niagara” so they stare inside. Well It was fantastic, place is decorated with corks and is a nice pub where you can take the family out for lunch. It was clean and the wait staff was nice. We all ordered the fish and chips and it came hot and quick. Fish was a decent size and had a great crunch to it. The fish inside was white soft and fresh. The price was ok had some fresh cut fries too. Here is my meal and my daughters which was great too. Decent portions!

Great service and tasty food. Have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend for either breakfast or lunch. I had the steak frites. Also, due to COVID-19, if you are looking for a patio, I would recommend this one above all others along main street (even during a post pandemicworld). The patio even has a solid covering in case the rain catches you during your meal.

So...went for a Mother's Day trip to Niagara on the lake, it was a wonderful experience....besides this place. This place was SO bad, that its now the running joke of my current relationship, every time we eat somewhere that is disappointing, we look at each other and say "wasn't as bad as Cork's". We decided to eat outside as it was a nice day, and were treated to a bug infestation, and these bugs were LITERALLY falling from the windows. They continued to try to seat people there, and the customers kept asking to be moved. After a third or fourth fail at attempting to sit couples in the area, they decided to quarantine off the area, and proceeded to spray that area with bleach until they were dead. As I'm sure you can understand, its not a pleasant smell while you're trying to enjoy your sad excuse for low quality, over priced, bar food. Go enjoy Cork's, if you want an expensive laugh.

We have passed this place many times while in NOTL but had yet to venture in. We did tonight, sitting on the patio. There are overhead heaters so it wasn't cold but I was not warm enough to take my coat off. A great selection of beers in tap from local craft breweries as well as a very large selection of wines. We were looking for some pub food so we tried the fish and chips and were quite content. The French onion soup was delicious. I found the rest of the menu to be a little pricey, but it is a huge tourist area. Service was quick and friendly, considering it was very busy in the patio. All in all, a nice little spot to stop for a drink and a bite.

To summarize in one word "bland". Ordered the chicken madeira and I swear the carrots and green beans were plastic. Mashed potatoes was just that and the chicken, blah. Totally overpriced.

Food was very nice. I had creamy prosciutto pasta and my partner had the fish and chips. However the staff were a bit rude and our waitress was very forgetful. She completely forgot to bring us salt, vinegar and parmesan for my pasta. There was no apology. We were also waiting quite a while for our bill. We had to purchase bottled water because that's all they're doing at the moment which doesn't make sense to me. Everywhere else in the town provided tap water.

Amazing customer service at this cool bar and patio in the busy part of Niagara On The Lake. The patio was full but the setup was well done and really makes for an awesome atmosphere. Ordered the Crab Cakes, Fish & Chips & Quinoa Salad with Chicken at the table and they were all done very well. The Bar Tender was very attentive and so were the servers. Very comfortable experience and will definitely return when I'm back in town.

Unfortunately this restaurant has the distinction of being the worst place I think I’ve ever eaten. The good feedback: martini was good and they have fresh air inside. The rest: The food was horrid, tasteless and none of us could eat what was placed in front of us. Don’t trust the kitchen if you are celiac. Order something with a gluten free symbol, and get bread with your order. Then have tour server apologize and bring you fresh bread. ????
