Niagara's version of Italy! I moved to Niagara Falls with my parents 3 years ago in the fall and the following spring or summer,I came across this gem of a winery! I brought my parents there and they really enjoyed the patio pre-covid.. Over the last year and a 1/2 we were unable to go there and enjoy the authentic Italian pizza and their superb variety of Wonderful wines! The staff are exemplary! Since day one when we 1st stepped foot onto this amazing property! I wrote a review a couple years ago about Brian who told us many stories about the various labels on the bottles. It was quite the experience. Since then I finally took my parents back to Colaneri for the 1st time since stage 3 when we could enjoy the patio once again. It was June 26th I took my parents and 1 of my parents friends . It was my Dad's last great weekend out as he had passed away 5 days later... He would have been 93 on July 5th.???????? He had such a great time! So glad he got to experience it one last time. (Just in time....)Since then I have returned with my Dad's friend and my Mom more then once and several friends once or twice a week and sat at the very same table in the very same seat that he sat at. Ellen had served us the last weekend before his passing and then immediately upon our return a couple of weeks after.. She was so thoughtful and remembered serving us and my Dad. Chris, the manager had come over to speak with us also and offered his condolences. All of the staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable and now every time I return, they know of my story and my Dad and are always very accommodating to offer us the same table where my Dad enjoyed his last weekend. Special shout out also to Allen, Jessica, Henry and especially Brittney as she has served myself and my guests, the last 3 or 4 visits. Allen and Brittney's kindness has been very touching. They had gone out of their way for us. Make sure you arrive 1 hour before closing for last call to avoid disappointment... otherwise this winery and the staff and wines are far from disappointing. Make sure you try one of their 2 pizzas! The cooks are fantastic! Thank you to them also. (I told some of you that it would be a long read. Lol!????)

Parnell Martin

Very good wines and very good selection.

Amelia Chand

Picturesque estate, with some great wines and fresh traditional pizzas. The patio was open with extensive views of the vineyard. Their Riesling was my favourite and left with a bottle !

Claude Poirier

Not bad....

martin nowakowski

Service was just horrible here, very disappointed and plus what an artificially build building.. Great front appearance but inside its like a dungeon.

Michael Pearson

This is the only winery I've been to where I liked every single wine given to me during the tasting - even wines I normally don't enjoy! The building is beautiful - it screams Italian villa. I can only imagine how beautiful the grounds are in the summer time with the fountain and patio seating. But even in the winter it was still quite nice. Shout out to Bob, an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff that gave us our tasting with TONS of interesting stories about both the wine and his personal experiences. We left with 6 bottles. You need to try this wine.

Mike Nowacki

This is a destination all on its own. A spectacular Tuscan building and grounds with outstanding wines. Most of the reds are at least partially made in the Amarone or Ripasso style. Big, full bodied, jammy and almost chewy.

Nadia Fontana-Naar

One of my favorite wineries!! Fantastic quality wine and we had a fantastic employee named Debbie who was our tasting specialist. She was very thorough with explaining all the wines and history of the family and the meaning of the art on wine labels. I can tell she enjoys her job very much. Would definitely return and recommend!!

Nadia Fontana-Naar

Just off the phone with this winery. We would like to come and purchase one or two bottles but will need to try the wines first (as we have never been @ Colaneri Estate). No flexibility offered at all - you must reserve a 45 minutes tasting or you will not be allowed to taste at all. Alright, we will NOT be coming .

Beautiful exterior property and the wine/food was tasty for the most part (bread in the charcuterie was reeeeeally hard). I didn't give 5 stars because no cutlery or plates are issued to patrons. It's just hard to cut a ball of cheese in half to share if I don't have utensils of any kind. We asked the server for napkins as an alternative to plates and received exactly 1 per person (not enough napkins to wipe our mouths). I didn't mind the plastic wine glasses but it's quite underwhelming to cheers without hearing the typical clink of glasses.

We got late for our appointment for tasting for 1 hour our fault understand we have came we got stuck on hwy were coming from Toronto. But we came at least you have to provide some sort of reschedule or return of purchase. None of that was provide what kind of customer service you Are providing! Very disappointed!

A lovely experience and superb wines.

Nice exterior, looks like a Tuscan estate. Seems like they gave up on the abandoned fountain in front, takes away from the experience a bit. Interior is boring.

FANTASTIC place to have lunch and a glass of wine

An absolutely wonderful experience. The service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable; her recommendations were spot on. I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend this winery to all my wine loving friends.

Ryan Monahan

Excellent wines in a gorgeous location.

Had an amazing wine tasting for two! My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and had a wonderful experience with Allen. He was very informative and friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. We ended up loving and purchasing 3 different bottles of wine and can’t wait to enjoy them at home! Due to CoVid we missed our honeymoon to Europe but visiting Colaneri Estate Winery we felt like we were transported to Italy. The architecture is really spectacular and we plan to visit again in the spring or summer!

Kelly Bee

Stunning estate winery with a good selection of fabulous wines. Definitely worth the visit!

We had an amazing time at the Colaneri Estate Winery. My husband and I went on the donkeys in the vineyard tour. The estate is absolutely gorgeous. Our guide Chris was so knowledgeable, fun and took the time to answer all of our questions. We love the fact that it is a family owned winery and that Chris himself, a family member, did the tour. The wines were excellent featuring a really unique Pinot Grigio - buttery and full bodies. We never tried one like that before. The Cabernet Sauvignon and blend were also excellent reds which is not easy to do in this region. Two adorable Donkeys, Raul and Phyllis, were big stars on the tour. They were playful and so cute enjoying the walk and attention from all of us along the way. We got to meet their "mom" Melina who invited us to stop by their farm after! We are big time animal lovers and decided to go check it out. She had beautiful horses, the sweetest goats and more happy donkeys there. All the animals were so well taken care of, clean and content which is a huge deal to us. You can feel really good about joining the donkeys knowing they are happily loving their life lol. Long review but wanted to give a big shout out to the Estate and Animals. Definately a great place to check out!

Slection of Italian wines, unique European architure.

It's very, very hard for me to... actually, I'm very choosy when it comes to wine, especially red. I haven't found a good red wine at LCBO. I'm not a fan of dry wines, it removes all the processes and how nicely the grape ages. I'm happy that they carry a variety of wines from full to medium-bodied wines, and I believe some dry ones as well - but of course I didn't touch those. So I went here on my birthday to buy and try two bottles of wine since I wasn't able to taste it due to certain restrictions. Oh my, their red is just delicious. I tried what one of the staff has recommended to me (it was the grandpa-kind of man, just don't want to say old.. forgive me), and my it was the smoothest red I've tasted. My best friend and I went through half the bottle... well she really liked the white wine, but I got the Cavallone Recioto and my oh my, it was delicious - a great pairing with cheese and prosciutto. But to end this review, we went back and bought 4 more wines to bring back home to Toronto when we were finished with our stay at Niagara-on-the-Lake. ???? ❤️ Lovely, lovely architecture as well. Definitely take photos when visiting this lovely place.

An absolute must visit for any great wine seeker. The dry reds are divine.

Most beautiful estate in NOTL hands down. I am over this wine style (appassimento) but think its a great style to present to a newcomer to the wine scene.

This is a repeat visit for us when we are in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's a family-owned winery in the Italian tradition. We get the feel of a via Italiano when we approach the front door of the building. The tasting room is appointed in dark woods with large editions of the wine labels. Be sure to ask about the stories behind the names and art on the wine labels. Many of the wines are made in the appassimento style (we had to ask about that style). There are a variety of wines to meet different palates. It's worth making the drive just off the QEW. A gift card can be had with the purchase of over $100, which considering the great wines, isn't hard to do.

Andrea Boyko

Update 2021 - we went today for a private wine tasting with Chris Colaneri. He really knows his wine and history of the vineyards and more! He was well versed and extremely passionate about wine. He really understands all aspects of the wine making process. He was very helpful and informative about everything related to wine and wine making. I would highly recommend this winery especially since it resembles an old village in Italy. It’s like the old country came home. Amazing picturesque Italian inspired winery. The wine tasting is very informative about the family and the grapes and fermentation process.I would highly recommend coming to this beautiful winery. It’s like stepping into an ancient Italian village.

Wine By The Bottle

My favourite place in NOTL! Stunning building and phenomenal wines - every single one of them - red, white and now sparkling! I love more the appassimento varieties too! This place is an absolute must visit when in Niagara on the Lake. Sit in the Piazza for a Pizza on the weekends!

This was by far our favorite tasting ever. Bob served us and when he heard it was our honeymoon he gave us a complimentary glass of their sparkling wine! We reserved a 45-minute tasting and tried one of each of their wines. Bob was amazing and very knowledgeable. He explained each wine to us, including how to properly taste wine. At the end we bought a whole case of wine and got 10% back on a gift card to use next time we visit! If you only have time for one wine tasting while in Niagara, this is it!!

Shal S

Bryan was amazing in explaining all the different types of wines! Love the wine tasting room, has large windows for a beautiful view of the vineyard. Tastings are $20/person, required to book reservations in advance. Unfortunately due to covid there are no wine tours. This winery is worth even just driving into the parking lot and taking pictures.

Been a member for over 2 years, this place is great, wonderful staff and excellent wines.

Tommy

This place is beautiful. We tasted 8 wines and bought a bottle for $30. You can have 4 tastings for $10 but that will be waived if you buy a bottle which we did. I only dropped it to four stars because they ran out of pizza which disappointed us since we wanted to enjoy wine with pizza. One of the main reason why we wanted to go here. Regardless, wine tastes amazing and the building is beautiful.

Chris Girard

I thoroughly enjoyed our tasting this morning. It was one delicious wine after another. Give Bob a raise!! He's fantastic.

J Burgess

Highly disappointing. Purchased an expensive bottle as a gift that is no longer needed. The wine is unopened and not tampered with. Winery will not take back the bottle (because it is a consumable product sealed by cork) either for exchange or refund. Ridiculous as LCBO takes back bottles of wine regularly. So be very sure before you buy anything because of this policy. Suffice it to say I won't be shopping there again.

Alexander Haque

kmartina5

I would probably have given this a 3.5. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pizza was above average but not stupendous. Wine was mediocre, no extras and zero frills type of dinning experience. Beautiful property and atmosphere. Long wait as it is first come, first serve and groups of 3 or more are seated before a 2 person party. What this looks like is you and your plus one may wait up to 1 hour while someone with a 3 person party or more just wait about 10 mins.

Rita Durman

The winery is by far the most beautiful in niagara and the wine is delicious. We visited today for the grape and wine festival. They really need food to go with the wine. The place is so lovely and you want to enjoy the wine on the patio but it's tough to just drink and drink and drink.

Due to the pandemic, bookings were mandatory. Called ahead, was told to come at 5pm. When I arrived, they had "lost my reservation" and was later told I was actually on a waitlist. (So they knew who I was). On top of that, the woman I dealt with was incredibly rude and crass, as if it was my fault they lost my reservation.

Julia McColl

A group of 4 of us visited Colaneri and it was amazing. The man who served us was Wayne and he was very friendly and informative. At the tasting bar he told us a little bit of Colaneri family history, winemaking techniques, and described each wine to us. Definitely recommend this one- easily one of the best in the region.

Nathan

Great Italian wine. Very knowledgeable staff. Excellent atmosphere in an beautifully designed rustic building.

Rob Brown

Beautiful building and location. A little bit of Italy in Niagara. Nice wines and great service. Try the Pinot Grigio - you won't be disappointed! Website states you don't need a reservation for a tasting but the signage at the winery says you do. Either way they were able to accommodate us on the patio. Will need to head back for a formal tasting.

Absolutely Beautiful building❤, give you the sense of being in Italy.Staff was friendly. Unfortunately they were not serving pizza. I was surprise to find out that they served me my flight in plastic material glasses full of scratches, that was a boomer.I have visited many wineries in different regions, and I have never experienced plastic glasses for wine, such beautiful place it should definitely discard those plastic glasses. It takes the whole experience of tasting away.

Wonderful family with an incredible history involving everything to do with wine and the grapes themselves. Very passionate about their trade and I love the personal touch on their stories behind the names and designs on their bottles. Having grown up in the area, this winery is one of my favourites as it's not as commercialized as the Trius' and Inniskillin's of NOTL. I find you get a really down to earth vibe and authentic experience here.

This is probably the nicest winery we have been to yet in the Niagara region. The vineyard and Chateau are beautiful, the latter in a Tuscan style. The wines are mostly made with the Appassimento process, so are bold and flavourful. We tried a selection of 5 at a tasting and they were all very good. Our wine tasting host ("Bob") was knowledgeable, pleasant and added to the experience. We are definitely going back. And yes, we bought more than $75 worth of wine to take home, so the tasting fee was waived.

Phillip Reno

Good wine, recommended.

Leigh Trelaine Farrow

Omg I love the wines here. Such a beautiful estate and experience.

Daniela Serodio

This is the second time I have visited this winery with my family in celebration of our birthdays and, as before, we had an amazing time. The wines are delicious and the staff provide you with individual assistance and explanations of the winery, wines, Colaneri family, and even the labels of each individual bottle! Spend $75 and you're discounted the cost of one of the tastings.

Discovering the Vineyard with the Donkeys: Growing up in Niagara I’ve visited MANY wineries, but I have to say this was one of my favourite experiences of all time. Not just because of the donkeys ???? but because of the kindness the Colaneri family showed us throughout our visit, and the genuine excitement Chris had sharing their family’s story and his love of wine making with us! It didn’t feel like a winery, it felt like we had been invited into their home! I definitely recommend this experience!

Neil Law

This is only my second tasting at this winery so you can't call me a big fan of their wines. This time I tried the sauv blanc (ok, but taste doesn't last), ripasso, red blend and cab sauv (all three had lots of fruit but very little body) and Recioto Chardonnay (good body and will make a good dessert wine). Overall they've used the an appassimento method to extract fruit sweetness but no real body. For me they've a ways to go to get close to Italian wines. I believe they are popular because of the fruitiness but that's not what I'm looking for and would make food pairing more complicated. We purchased one Pinot and one ripasso to try later and see if our impression changes. Also bought four Chardonnay as I'm curious to pair with a Carmel Apple cheesecake. Think it'll be a while before we go back here again.

Carl Korody

Great wines, fabulous pizza!

Analena Ruffolo

Had such a lovely time doing our wine tasting here! Rob was fantastic and very knowledgeable on the history of this estate. I loved learning about their family! Cheers ????

Sabina Bashir

This is paradise! The property, the views and the service were all exceptional! Sidney assisted us in our samples- she provided us an in depth analysis of various wines, how it formed to be and background stories of each. I’ve been to various wineries around NOTL, but the information and knowledge she provided us was so unique...it will last a life time! Thank you for providing us such a memorable experience! Anybody looking to try one of a kind wines (appassimento style) and stock up at exceptionally good prices - go to Colaneri

Mariesa DeAngelis

Amazing! A friend recommended this as a must see, and it did not disappoint! Great staff, very knowledgeable. I can't wait to come back in the summer to see the vineyards!

The wine tasting was fun, and they have some very interesting wines (especially the Pinot grigio). The tasting is free if you buy a bottle too! ????

Absolutely incredible winery. Growing up on the Niagara escarpment, I feel like I've been desensitized to the Wonders that are abundant here. Visiting this winery was like stepping into a different place and time. A remarkable experience and I highly recommend. Unique wines that I have not found anywhere else, and worth every penny!

Came with a group of 22 to this winery on 3/4/2018 after visiting several other wineries during the day. I ran ahead of the group to let the winery staff know as soon as possible that there were 22 of us. I found this effective in the other (smaller) wineries we visited during the day. When I spoke to a "younger" (black hair, greased back) fellow at the bar he turned to me and said "next time you better call" in an extremely rude tone. I made a remark back in retaliation and said "Ok - but this is not next time and we need to know if we will have service now" the staff member I mentioned above then looked me in the eyes and said "you are RUDE" !!!! I couldn't believe this and I even tried to apologize and suggest that we may have had a misunderstanding. To be honest, it was clear this man is just MISERABLE HUMAN. Anyway.. the winery owner and other staff members (shout out to Wally) saw the entire interaction and I'm assuming told him to do the bar back stuff for our group and not interact with us after that. It was clear that HE did something wrong as all other staff went above and beyond after in some attempt to salvage the most awkward encounter with a client that day. Despite this disgruntled employee, the service was great and I even bought wine, but I also promised to share my experience afterwards, so here it is. Moral of the story - if you wanted to be treated with any type of respect when entering into this winery with a group "call ahead"

Jason M

Colaneri as is own unique feel of old country. As soon as you enter the building your noze get filled by the aromas of freshly open wine bottles. The staffs welcome you with smiles and give you time to explore all the gift shop. The staffs are so knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and the production. I felted like I should of take some notes during our wine tasting to be able to recreate the experience half as good when entertaining my guess at home. The wines at Colaneri are extraordinary and in a completely higher level then all the other winery of the region. The perfumes and tastes of every samples are so rich and delicious you will wish you had one more sip.

Kevin Jenkins

Alan Czajkowski

Very nice exterior architecture & design of the main winery building, but the fountain seems to be unfinished. I wish the interior matched the impressive exterior -- the interior is a bit anti-climactic after seeing the exterior, which kind of reminds you of an old European village or town. Tastings are only by appointment due to the pandemic, therefore I cannot comment on the wine until I open the bottles! (soon)

2 stars was pushing it and that was only for the view. For the price it was not worth it. The wine was served in plastic cups and the pizza was burnt. On top of this there was a bug served in my wine glass and I was told “oh it happens sometimes”. There were no cutlery or plates served with our meals (which btw there’s only 3 things to pick from on the menu). I wanted to take a picture with my girlfriend near the vineyard to which we were told to back off because the ground was bumpy… (the parking lot was worse than the vineyards).

Giovanni Mattucci

Very delicious and large selection of wines. The building is quite spectacular, the owners are recreating a piece of southern Italy right here. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. And that is not just the wine talking.

This is a beautiful winery and we had a fantastic wine tasting experience. The property transports you to wine country in Italy and the wine they make here is exceptional. We were greeted by Jessica who was very welcoming and chatted with us giving us some information before our wine tasting experience with Rob was to start. We had a super selection that we sampled and Rob a gracious and very knowledgeable host. We left feeling very happy with a case of some very fine red wines. We will be back.

Did a wine tasting with my girlfriend and had a great experience. The architecture style of the building was beautiful and our host (Debbie) during the wine tasting was great to talk to and very knowledgeable.

Tara Withers

Great tasting experience and a good variety of wines!

Marcella Agustina

Came here on a whim and really enjoyed the experience. The employee who serviced ya was very knowledgeable and patient while we peruse through the various wine options. With covid, the winery is only open for pickup or wine tasting reservation. The reservation system is easy to follow and it costs $20 for five glasses of wine. They have a variety of red, white and dessert wines to choose from. I really enjoy the dessert wines, especially the Vidal ice wine. The tasting fee is waived if you buy $75 which I thought was fair. The winery itself exudes a Tuscan charm and I'll definitely be back to try more wines.

We had an amazing wine tasting at Colaneri! Wally knew everything there is to know about the wines. And of course we took a bottle with was. Also the building is beautiful, definitely worth the visit!

Emerson Tan

Hands down the best Canadian red wines I’ve ever tasted. The white wines are also fabulous. Bob is very knowledgeable and presents the wines very well. This is a must visit for serious wine lovers!

Andrew Dawdy

Staff were stuck-up, insulting and rude. Unbelievably bad customer service. I would never come here.

Larysa Savrasykh

The best experience in Niagara!!! Wonderful decorations, beautiful landscape, it feels like you are in Italy. It’s gorgeous inside as well, very unique, you can see the process from the second floor. Absolutely amazing staff!!! So polite and professional. They explained everything about the process and how wine is different from others. Girl was asking about what we taste, discussing aftertastes. And wine... WOW just WOW unique combinations and bouquets of tastes. We went to different wineries in Niagara, and any of them were at least a little close to this one. I just wish we spent more time here. Our next trip we will stay only in this winery, not wasting time on others.

Elena Matviitchouk

Just off the phone with this winery. We would like to come and purchase one or two bottles but will need to try the wines first (as we have never been @ Colaneri Estate). No flexibility offered at all - you must reserve a 45 minutes tasting or you will not be allowed to taste at all. Alright, we will NOT be coming .

The best in Niagara.

Kristofer Lam

My wife and I had an amazing time here last week. Beautiful venue, amazing wines, and felt very safe with the covid precautions that were in place. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Lee, who was knowledgeable, welcoming, and warm. Colaneri is a must visit if you're in the Niagara area!

Marc-Antoine Côté Laporte

Staff were stuck up! Don’t go there

Ekk Pfenning

Absolutely Beautiful building❤, give you the sense of being in Italy.Staff was friendly. Unfortunately they were not serving pizza. I was surprise to find out that they served me my flight in plastic material glasses full of scratches, that was a boomer.I have visited many wineries in different regions, and I have never experienced plastic glasses for wine, such beautiful place it should definitely discard those plastic glasses. It takes the whole experience of tasting away.

Andy Pieri

We had a glass of their Corposso at a local restaurant and loved it so the server gave us the address. WOW! What a beautiful winery. The staff for our tasting were amazing and so knowledgeable. Each wine label picture has a very interesting story about a family member. Highly recommend!

Ryan Zeitz

Mike was probably the most pleasant and friendly guy I've encountered in Niagara. He took extra time and care with me and my girlfriend, who typically doesn't like wine, to find something that she wound up loving, and we took home a bottle of. Top notch customer service! If the manager of this winery is reading this, give that man a promotion!

they weren't ready for wine on the patio yet and will only be able to do tastings in Step 2 but we visited the store. The person who served us was very knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. Will definitely go back when we can enjoy a glass on the patio.

We had a wine tasting scheduled last night and had the privilege of having Lee as our guide. He was so knowledgeable when it came to all the wines and made our time there so enjoyable. The wine itself was delicious and the estate is beautiful. Thanks to Lee and everyone who made our visit safe and wonderful.

James Malinowski

Just amazing. Every serious wine drinker should go here.

P. F.

Horrible experience. We arrived 20 minutes after our tasting instead of their 15 minute window and they didn’t accommodate us or refund our money. Rude and cold service. Would never recommend this winery and will definitely never return.

The estate is absolutely stunningly designed. Feels like you’re in Italy! The wine tasting was good, the service excellent and they waive the $10 tasting fee if you buy a bottle.

Fantastic Wine

Beautiful winery. We did not get to try the tasting tour here, but the grounds themselves are enough reason to come. The staff were friendly as well.

Enjoy the winery. Great explanation of wines

We had a great experience tasting your fabulous wines Saturday November 21/20. Although we may be a bit biased we thought our tasting host was the absolute best!! Thank you Jordyn Brigley for sharing your work family and your knowledge of Colaneri wines with your biggest fans!! Love Mom and Dad

We had such an amazing time this past weekend at our wine tasting at Colenari! With COVID it is hard to navigate a new normal but the staff were professional and friendly. I would highly recommend. Also Beth was wonderful!

An absolute must visit on a wine tour. If you want to feel like you are in Italy or just be in a warm cozy place this is your place to be. Nice decor and the vineyard to look over while you sip on their delicious wine. #localguides

An absolutely beautiful winery !! Has the European look on the outside that just driving up to it makes you say Wow! The wine is amazing / tastings we have done here are so much fun . Everyone is so friendly. Have recommended to family and friends and will continue to do so. Thank you

John Clarkson

The outdoor Cafe setting is beautiful- the service friendly and excellent. But none of that overshadows the fabulous wine and pizza. The wine flights are a good way to enjoy some of the best tasting wines anywhere.

Tom Giltner

Lola Eniola-Adefeso

What a GREAT selection of wines. Great tasting. We will go back again.

DrYmath

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff member made the best of our experience. We were only able to visit the store and not do a tasting, but we were given such good information by the staff that it made up for it. Will be visiting again when things open back up.

On our way to NOTL from St Catharines, (with the intention of joining the Ice Wine Festival this week), we decided to take the back roads... more interesting, while catching up on new developments, etc. Well, nothing strucked us more than this new winery we noticed near Concession 6! So we decided to go and see! Even in its progressive construction stages, it was simply stunning!! Our sommelier was most knowledgeable in offering all kinds of descriptions on the various wines available for tasting as well as the unique stories behind the art on each label of their wine bottles. We liked the Pinot Grigio and Pino Noir. We were offered as many tasting as we chose to sample at no charge since we bought 2 bottles of wine. We liked the friendly atmosphere, and our most informative sommelier. Can't wait to see this beautiful winery completed.

Emma DaRocha

So far my favourite winery in the Niagara area. The place is stunning inside and out, and I loved how each tasting had their own staff member to guide us through the experience. I'l definitely be returning!

Orest

I went to this winery once and I loved it. Not only does it look amazing from the outside but the experts will help you choose the wine you're looking for.

Ron Monture

Bradford Smith

Called today to order 6 bottles of wine to be delivered to my home in Toronto. Spoke to Julie. She was VERY polite and helpful. I received FREE delivery because I spent over $100 (#WIN). These folks are great, just like their wine.

M De Sciscio

Love this winery. Best Cabernet Franc ice wine

Lovy Khanna

Its a very picturesque vineyard I'll give it that. The setting, ambiance, views are spectacular. From the wine standpoint, we didn't find the wines (reds) to be anything special - they taste like any typical Canadian (red) wine - excessively watery, rough and lacking depth. White wines were ok. Margarita pizza was great. P.S. the plastic roughed up wine glasses used for tasting flights are just....horrible

We were a group of 17. What horrendous service by Wally. We were ignored and neglected. After asking for water, waited at least 10 minutes and got served 1 glass every two or three people. I asked for more red samples, and was declined even though I would purchase them.Wally clearly doesn’t care nor is passionate about his job. Because of Wally, you the management of the winery lost hundreds of (combined) sales from my group.

Duane Firminger

Debbie was fantastic and so was the wine we tried!

Must see place and good wines too

Bob was most amazing, ..I feel bad of getting a bit loud but was all entertaining. All staff was intervened, made us feel at home and most comfortable. Nevermore me joining the club, but I every chance will still do wine tasting . All staff is fantastic, Bob is my guy when I come there, then its Mike Thank you all for making my birthday this memorable!

Lydia Oliverio

Today was our first time visiting the Colaneri Estate Winery and what a great experience! We booked a 45 minute private testing and it was well worth it. If you are lucky enough to have Bob as your sommelier like we were, it will make your experience that much better. Bob was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Overall, a beautiful estate with lovely tasting wines, you are guaranteed to find something that you like. Enjoy!

Finally a wine focused locale in NOTL that makes food a secondary emphasis. Note to tourists!!!. If u want fast food, go to Clifton Hills... if u want high quality wine & an authentic Italian experience ask for Chriss, Allen or Elen!! Ps... try the caper garlic pizza. A little more prossuto would be nice but excellent wine knowledge. Gracci!!!

TJ Cieciura

Like an Italian piazza with wonderful wines and atmosphere.

Susan McLaren

Staff very pleasant and helpful. The Gewürztraminer is excellent! Enjoyed a glass of wine and pizza on the patio. Brought back favourable memories of Italy.

Deva Gowda

Beautiful Vineyard and excellent wines. Loved their Amarone style wine..

Chris Rodrigues

went for the Halloween event. was not worth the price of $75. ghost tour was too short. there was no ghost hunt. long line for the card reader and hypnotist, did not get a chance to do either. no music or dancing. giving a one star for the food.

Liza Doyon

(Translated) Very beautiful, very good tasting service, lots of explanations and advice on which wines to choose. Explanation of the family history of the place too! Colaneri was the first winery we visited on our trip to Niagara-on-the-lake vineyards and it stood out as our favorite of the day, even after visiting 6 other wineries in the region. Debbi was an amazing host and explained each wine we sampled in detail and we were captivated by the stories she told us of the founding family. Highly recommend visiting colaneri if you're in the region - they had the best and most dynamic wines by far!
