I attended for a work holiday party and I found it to be a very charming place, it was packed but the music and the setting made for a very friendly, welcome environment. The food was excellent, I enjoyed the manicotti which were perfect! My only regret is not trying what looked like an authentic tiramisou after my meal!

After reading all the bad reviews regarding the slow service for groups, I was hesitant to keep my birthday dinner that was already booked. That being said, I called the manager (who was the owner) and voiced my concerns. We were going to be 16 people in total. I asked what I could do in advance that would help the service. He suggested I do a set menu with narrowed down choices. So, I chose to only have 4 choice of meals for my dinner. My efforts were made in vain as it was THE slowest service ever. I was so disappointed. We were there at 6:45pm and only got served our meals at 9:30pm. We had one waitress doing everything. It was frustrating. My tortellini was good but my guests Chicken Parmesan was awful. The tomato sauce was way too acidic.

Honestly, I feel bad for the staff. They try their best and don't deserve to work there. They all get five stars from me. Now, this is a restaurant so I have to get the owner notice by giving one star. First, we put reservation with two high chairs, we got none when we got in, only time we got one high chair was when another table left. So they didn't really reserved it. The food was mediocre at best. In fact, it looks like the chef is either completely uncreative or bored. For a 21$ grilled salmon I would expect the fish to be tasty, the portion a bit bigger than the few inches they served, and the vegetables not to be soaked in olive oil. The pasta dishes were dried, and how do you charge 90% of the price for half a portion???? They charged us full price minus a dollar for spaghetti with tomato sauce for our two years old baby. Really??? My cousin ordered ice cream for desert, they served it without anything... No chocolate syrup, sprinkles, nothing.... Again maybe it is the style or the restaurant but at least try to give us an experience that we would want to come back. It's a beautiful place to dine, the terrace is gorgeous and inside is superb, but the food doesn't fit the place nor the staff. So one recommendation to the management, work on bettering the experience of the diners or you will see that people will refrain from coming back. Either work on your chef to get better quality or reduce your prices by half. This place have a potential to be an amazing Italian restaurant in the west island, one of the top, but it seems that they are stuck with a poor choice of a chef or strict management control that is not allowing him or her to be creative and be good.

First time at this restaurant. We were seated in the terrace/garden which was perfect but in our case, waiting time was over 1.5 hours for the food! After our drink order, we only received bread after asking for it 1.5 hours after sitting down. The waiter was apologetic and polite. The food was very good but due to the wait and delays to be served, we are hesitant to try this place again. The manager never came out to see us once but to be honest, we never asked for him. It was very busy and due to pandemic reasons, they must be short staffed. Good luck!

This place is complete trash. Don't trust any review over 2 stars. Our dinning experience was well below average. We were a large group that had a reservation well in advance. Our waitress was nice but she seemed new. The bread at the table was just store bought and sliced up. Cold and stale, no self-respecting Italian restaurant would allow this. When we asked for more water, we were told another waitress passes by regularly... 20 minutes later, we got some water. The meal took about an hour to get to the table. The portions were small and overpriced. The food quality is nothing to write home about. The piece-de-resistance was the coffee. We got cold coffee at the table and had to freaking argue to get another batch brewed. My worse dinning experience in recent memory. Definitely not coming back.

Prices are high and you could feel some dishes are a bit "ordinary" considering this. But the place is very nice and looking good. The employees did a good job and were very polite and available when needed. Wine was good and the cook really knew how to prepare pastas. Could sound funny but many restaurants overcook pastas. Those were just perfect at Belllissimo. And even if prices may seem high, the servings are huge. You could almost get one for 2 if you are not that hungry. Overall, very pleasant birthday evening we had here!

the person serving our table was rude and it felt like we were disturbing him every time we asked for something. they didn't have the 3 kind of beer I wanted even thought it was on their menu. we had a group of ten persons and it was for my wife's birthday, the waiter kept on making mistakes and didn't bring the right order to some of us ex: lamb chop insteed of pork chop. told us it was the same price when it was not... food is not more than average. soo over all experience of that night was the worst in my life and will not see me there ever again. also good to mentionne that we had a baby with us and they didn't have a high chair

I made a reservation but they had a problem with booking due to a big group event. It took a while to get sitted. We've been here for an hour, still no sign of food. We are nibbling on bread endlessly. I kept telling them we have a event to attend in 2 hours but no effort to speed things up. I can't say anything about food yet since I'm not served. However, I wouldn't recommend this place. My dear Italian friend recommended this restaurant to me, I'm very disappointed about service. Had it been for a simple dinner I would have walked out already, but today is a B-Day celebration so we are sticking around. . . Updated : so finally we got the food. Taste is ordinary. They forgot one dish so my dad had to wait for his main dish.Plating was not good as you can see on photo. No one pours wine for us. Empty plates stayed with us for a long time. I strongly believe this happened because of big event going on. No matter what the reason was I hope we've had better service.

(Original) Je suis allé à ce resto pour la 1ère fois alors que j'habite le secteur depuis bien longtemps. Le décor, le service et la qualité de la nourriture sont hors pair ! Et la cerise sur le sundae: le prix incroyablement raisonnable des vins (presque au "cost" de la SAQ). Visiblement, le proprio doit être un grand amateur de vin et souhaite que ses clients en profitent. On s'est gâtés avec un Amarone (ce que je ne fais jamais au resto habituellement), ce qui a fait passer le repas d'excellent à MÉMORABLE. Wow. À y retourner régulièrement !!

VERY disappointed!!! This is our first visit to Bellisima and our last. The food was Ok, nothing special. We had the steak- very thin. and butterfly shrimp-weird breading on it. Although, the bread and proscuitto boccochine was excellent. The biggest dissapointment was HORRIBLE SERVICE. We had a few questions about the menu which our waiter seemed annoyed by. Surprising since we believe he was the manager or possibly even the owner . He then proceeded to bring our food then we never saw him again other than him waiting on other tables. We had to flag down a nice waitress to ask for a dessert menu and then didn't see the waiter for 20 min(this is No exaggeration). Before leaving we had to personally go to the waiter station to flag someone else to pay. Our waiter never came to see us again, he seemed too busy arguing and managing other waitresses. Nonetheless we will not be going back and I strongly suggest that you check out other Italian restaurants in the area.

Made reservations and they had no record even though they sent us a confirmation. Had supper in a storage room at the back. Had to ask for bread. Had to serve our own wine. Food was very mediocre and expensive for what we got. All in all, terrible experience. 2 stars is being very very nice.

My first time at this restaurant but Definitely not my last. Food was very good, I had a wonderful soup and a very good veal picata. Wine is priced at SAQ price plus $5 which means we had an excellent bottle of Primativo for $35. If you want to talk with your table mates ask for a table away from the singer, he is very good but we were right in front of him it was a little difficult to carry on a conversation. We (6 of us) had a most enjoyable evening.

Highly recommend Bellissimo Restaurant. It's my 2nd time to go have dinner here at Bellissimo Restaurant. I tried most of their pasta and pizza was really excellent. My favorites are the lamb shank, sabuko and the other meat (forgot the name). They have someone who sings kn the weekend and its nice to dance with it. NOT WORTHY TO BE CONSIDERED A QUALITY ITALIAN EXPERIENCE!!!!! Before i begin, the one star is given for the nice terrace and decent styling of the resto in general - but still not impressive for the price, location, and reputation. I am by no means a picky person, and am usually very content and positive, but this place disappointed me with genuine mistakes on multiple occasions and levels .....(lunch meals only). I will no longer lunch out with my fellow colleagues because they only go there. 1 - Service: They have one main waiter, sometimes two, with the manager waiting as well occasionally. Service is very slow due to the lack of staff - we're talking about one waiter for nearly half the resto full of patrons. A) the waiter greets us at the table after 15 - 20 minutes of sitting down, B) we consistently receive our meals easily 20 mins from our order time, C) good luck trying to call on him because he's running around like a headless chicken - too busy to notice us. *One time, my water glass was dirty, with a bit of sediments floating inside. We're talking about beige and black debris like tooth plaque and black pepper. 2 - Order accuracy: My orders were wrong a couple of times. As in wrongfully written down by the waiter or misinterpreted by the cook. One time a soup was wrong, another time wrong pizza toppings. 3 - Food quality: A) The hot oil is a joke. You'd expect nice italian hot ground peppers (dry or fresh) that sat and infused in olive oil to produce a nice orange colored spicy and flavorful oil - but no.... what they offer are thick cut jalapeno rings in olive oil...... no heat nor flavor from the peppers and not infused at all. B) One time, my pizza arrived overcooked - burnt ring on the crust with the dough in the center not holding the toppings while overall being hard as a rock crispy.... resembles a lot like cheap frozen pizza cooked by a college student in a hurry. Waiter apologized and asked if it's ok if i kept the order (seriously??!!) C) One time i ordered a sausage panini that was on the lunch express menu, only to be told that it was a mistake and should have been removed from the list - they did not honor it and charged me extra (i accepted cause my mind decided on that food). I was so disappointed with my plate cause it was nothing like I had ever eaten before.... the sausage was cut in two halves, sliding out of the sandwich, there was soggy zucchini and onions in there, the bread was not ciabatta nut some kind of dense spongy untoasted bread... just gross and no flavor. D) Caesar salad is really to be desired. 4 - communication: I politely addressed my concerns to management via email a while ago, and in return I received no response. I used my precious time to send in my complaints and no courtesy was shown - why do they offer an email contact if they don't bother replying??!! In conclusion, this place is a joke in my opinion, with a price tag that the resto does not deserve. Nothing authentic, nothing italian, underwhelming food quality, crappy and slow service, no cares toward individuals' satisfaction, sometimes unhygienic. GO ELSEWHERE!

My husband and I both ordered pizzas for lunch. There were a whole 4 other people in the restaurant and the waitress never came to see us after she brought our pizza to our table. Never asked us if we liked the pizza and never filled our water glass. When paying the bill we went to the counter to pay and we asked the man (we think he's the owner) what happened to our waitress. His response was "she left to go to school". She never, ever came to see us, my husband later told me he left her a 2$ tip. Which, I think was still generous as she never took care of us. This is the first time we did this but she didn't deserve anything more.

Very good Italian food and portion sizes are pretty big (had to bring home the leftovers). Can’t go wrong with the calamari to start, followed by their pasta dishes and wine. Their bottles are also great deals, not far off from SAQ prices unlike other restaurants where they add a premium of another 30% markup that then make you second guess if you should’ve gone to a BYOB restaurant instead lol. Would definitely recommend to friends/family!

Had my engagement party here. 60 ppl. Dance floor and private upstairs room with bar service. Definitely will be my spot for future events. Staff was so kind, the owner was there from the set up until the end of the night. (Midnight) we felt so at ease. Everyone loved the food. The calamari is to die for. I had the salmon. For a restaurant being fully functioning and the kitchen serving both a party of 60 and their clients downstairs, I had expected the food to be cold and the staff not able to serve mains all at once. However all mains came out smoothly and my salmon was melt apart to perfection. Not dry and not cold. I'm very impressed with the whole night. Highly recommend!

I took my girlfriend to lunch for her birthday. I ordered an arugula salad with pear. The salad was delicious but almost at the end I discovered a hair on one of the slices of pear. I pointed it out to the waiter, Carlos. His question “and you just found this at the end”. I was shocked and insulted with his question?. That was not the response I expected. Not an apology, let alone a discount or anything. I have a choice where I dine and it won’t be at this restaurant again. The customer service was horrible.

Great place if you like frozen vegetables. You would expect better service by going at less busy times, by making a reservation, etc., but no, it was just average, nothing special. I even heard a staff member snicker at another customer's choice of wine! The cut of meat I had (can't remember what I ordered, it definitely wasn't pork, but that's what I got...) was quite thin, I was disappointed about the value. I will pass next time.
