Nice spot in YUL. Got the smoked meat brisket and the ice cream sandwich. Both were good. Service was pretty fast and staff were friendly. Also have some beer on tap, but I didn't try them. Prices are not bad for airport, and the portion size was good. Would come back if I'm here for another layover.
Tried this place twice, left disappointed both times. The breakfast smoke meat benny, had an edible piece of meat. The dinner was sloppily presented, the smoke salmon wasn't what you would expect. Service was slow. Burger bun was charred.
Yes! Fish and chips + beer Brasseur dMontréal was winner of the day.
still haven’t gotten my waters
Dinner
Terrible beef brisket In addition to being overcooked, it tasted like liquid smoke and burnt plastic. This is supposed to be their signature dish. The fries were the cheap coated fastfood kind. I was expecting more for a meal that with fries upgraded to a pountine and a fountain pop cost $34. Now I would pay that much any day if the food was good, but this was a terrible meal at a terrible price. Should've got a sandwich from Tim Hortons. Go somewhere else.
blend ceasar, uncooked fries and dry pickle. not impressed
food is ok. not bad not good. server was very nice. prices were expensive
Meal type
The waitress was fantastic and caring. She saw I was emotional and was respectful. I think her name was Danielle? Brisket grilled cheese was delicious! I hope to eat here again on my next trip.
I ordered a fish and chips from this restaurant and the fish was put in the deep fryer too long, which caused it to burn.... and was still served. The pickle served with the entree was dried out, which thinking the restaurant is called …
We enjoyed the delish poutine with fume pork, and the quesadillas dish. The quesadilla could use sides of salsa to make it memorable. Located at gate 3, it's worth eating here if you have time.
Delicious burger and fries and fast service! My waitress Sylvie was awesome!
Was extremely disappointed with the food. The dish I ordered was the SMOKED 1/2 BBQ CHICKEN - the chicken came burnt and they just covered it with the BBQ sauce. Disappointed that the waitress would even serve that to me and I didn't have time to ask for a new one considering my flight was shortly after.
Really good food before our flight.
Very disappointed with the food and the whole interaction. Very burnt and dry chicken. Not an easy process to pay.
Good experience. Friendly staff. We told them we would like to be in and out within 30 minutes and they were able to accommodate. The waitress even pointed out tine friendly options.
Excellent meal & attention...
I am glad I ate at this place. I was very hungry coming from a 25+ hours flights i was looking for something to hit the spot and it sure did. Also the waitress was very helpful and delightful.
Drinks are ridiculous just like Vegas all good but realy enough would drink and eat more if wasn't buying the place

Decent food, my first Canadian experience and it wasn't bad at all. If you are from the US be prepared for different types of flavors. Atmosphere is rustic hipster with TVs. Service is consistent.
Bad service. Especially old female waitress, she acted the bad attitude for me. She threw the fork and knife to the next table. …
The fish and chips are awesome. And Jessica is one of the best waitresses I've ever had to deal with. Thanks again!!! I can't wait to try again!
Food was average at best and rather expensive. A glass of wine was crazy expensive. The fries were cold and their service was slow. There was also a bone in the chicken sandwich we had ordered. Would find a different place to eat next time
Food quality is trash. Couldnt even finish a burger. It was the driest thing ive ever eaten
If this review were based only on food OR service, this would be a two star review either way. Prices aside (it is an airport after all) this place was terrible. Bartender, instead of saying anything, stood in front of me waiting for order a drink. He did and it came just fine, empty glass and full bottle. No offer to pour. Then, after trying for several minutes, I was able to order food. The food was extremely stale and seemed to be microwaved (pulled pork sandwich) but the fries were pretty good. I asked for malt vinegar and the bartender informed me that they only do 'normal vinegar. When he brought the white vinegar, he informed me (without me saying a word) that "we are not 5 guys here, malt vinegar is a 5 guys thing". Really? How can you even consider yourselves a pub!?!? I even heard the bartender struggle to understand a patrons order of a vodka water. The name is literally the ingredients. He then offered her another to which she declined and he said "come on, I'm not judging". Edit - busboy is very nice and professional.
Nice environment. Food is average. I found mine extremely dry. The service is fast and friendly, but you're in an airport so that's what you should expect. It's not overpriced, which is something you might expect in an airport. If you're hungry, and in a rush, it's worth the stop.
Very friendly service, could of had a bit more of brisket on the grilled cheese, asked for a salad instead of fries and still got fries, wife’s burger had not condiments on it or in the table, if your not into smoked flavour then don’t rate the brisket down cause of it….it’s delicious if your into that sort of thing
Stay away from the dirty chips. They are terrible
No meat, no vegetables. The only restaurant in the departures, and all they serve before 10:30 is egg sandwiches, which you can just get next door at Tim Horton's.
Food was terrible. Angus burger was dry and overcooked, with no dressings to spice it up, and fries were greasy and soggy. Airport food's not generally great but this was just awful. At least the beer was cold, even if it was ridiculously expensive.
Decent food. I had the smoked chicken sandwich. It was served very fast, literally 5 min. It’s likely most of it is premade then assembled. The sandwich is served as a cold dish which is not obvious from a quick read of the menu. However, despite the fry’s coming out with the sandwich they were a little less than room temp and cooled down very fast. Over all a good meal especially giving the choices in the airport. If your lucky enough to sit by the window you will be seated overworking what I think was designed as a living roof and you can see the planes coming and going. The living roof is not super pretty but interesting nonetheless less.
Good menu. Obviously lots of meat ???? options. BBQ. Brisket. Fresh vibe. Tasty food. A bit of a wait for our order :( I think service is hit and miss. A little pricey for the portions. Not a bad option. Right beside Starbucks and across from Tim Hortons.
They have the best smoke chicken in town. However the service was hirable. Our server was mad to the hole world and her atetude was very unpleasant and hard to deal with. She brought our bill together with our meal. My son's hotdog was missing it's end!? I am very curious what was the story behind it. We were very tired from the flight and hungry and I had no energy for any extra conversation with our mean server lady.
Always great service and great food at the pork and pickle! Service with a smile and always chatty. Thanks for the great food as I wait for my flight!
A true solid 1 star, deep fried taters, toast being handled by bar staff, no washing hands between station. The omelet had..? Yesterdays smoked meat in it? I would almost think there was chicken in it also, but was not on menu. I think the staff knew I was not enjoying the food, but declined to ask how everything was... Instead they said, "tips not included", I said, yes it's not, I replied that I was pretty disappointed after eating for the last two weeks in Montreal. I read other people posts, maybe the smoked BBQ is good, I wouldn't recommend any breakfast here. And when failing breakfast, the easiest meal, time to consider change. Even covering the omelet in salt pepper and ketchup couldn't mask the taste. Hope I don't get sick from the obvious day old smoked meat that was in the omelet. Coffee was weak, and after a cup started tasting bad, perhaps this place will always leave a bad taste in your mouth. Skipping this even if I am starving next time. Can't believe I ate this.
Excellent food, quick and friendly service. Used our priority pass for payment, which was very convenient. …
I had Pulled Pork Sandwich. The taste was good, but a bit greasy though.
Service
Located in domestic wing near Gate 1/2. Hear David's Tea and Tim Hortons. Really big $18 beef brisket bbq platter! Surprised I could finish it, but I did. There's a smaller brisket open-face sandwich for a dollar less which is still plenty for one person. This platter better to share... 2019 Sep Update 2020 Feb: another stopover through YUL. Ordered brisket sandwich for $18 (platter $20 this time) as was worried about time to wait and eat the brisket platter. Not worth it for amount you get. Unless you really want a sandwich, pay the extra $2 to order the brisket platter. Meat temperature somewhat cooler too, perhaps cause it's a sandwich. Taste was still good. Server was just lukewarm with the service, didn't even ask how the food was.
The place is nice The waitress was a bit rude but probably because she had a bad day The food was good and tasty! …
Service was good. Sandwich was tasty - the smoked beef was wicked and done just right - the meat was soft, falling part and bbq’ed to perfection - hands down some of the best smoked meat I’ve tasted when in Montreal.
Pretty slammin poutine, which is strangely difficult to come across in YUL. Service at the bar was quick and friendly and the poutine was piping hot and fresh. Curds, gravy and fries were all delicious, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the smoked brisket is very intense. I might consider skipping that next time. Decent selection of macro brews on tap????
The server was very polite. The salmon salad i had was just the right amount of food. I was ready with my id and vaxicode. The qr reader to order and pay was very efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
After not giving a good enough tip, the waitress claimed P&P pays less than minimum wage, the tax of my meal was coming out of her pocket and then got hostile when I wouldn’t increase my tip. Guess I’ll find somewhere else to buy my $11 coffee during my layovers.
Great service. Great food.
Nice place in the airport. Staff was very friendly. Nice way to do QR code menu and payment
Really really bad food. Stay away!!
Cami in for breakfast and to kill time on a 6 hour layover. The food was great. The server is terrific for letting me hang out for hours and checking backing every half hour to see ismf I need anything.
Just ate there, it was one of the worst restaurant meals I have ever been served. They have the gall to state that they have the best BBQ in Montreal, what a joke. It was $29.99 for a tiny piece of chicken and some greasy, very fatty smoked brisket topped with the worst BBQ sauce ever devised by man. A coffee costing $5.00 was the topping on a horrible meal. Stay away. There are many better restaurants at YUL.
Delightful staff, very friendly. Had a pulled pork sandwich with fries, fries were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, not too greasy or salty. Pulled pork sandwich was good, didn't try to make it too crazy, just bbq pulled pork and a bit of salad for texture, really great.
Moe's had tastier food. Limited choice. First waitress took forever to come in front and sit us down. We asked for a table in the back where others were sitting. She refused stating the section was closed. So we sat at the bar. Beautiful place tho.
I stopped into the Pork & Pickle since it was near my gate in the Trudeau Airport. I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich because I love to compare them. Oh man. An amazing sweet BBQ sauce beautifully covers the meat and there was a delicious slaw under the pork. I think I saw carrots, turnip, apples, broccoli, onions shredded into it, and possibly more. The bun was soft but lightly toasted and there was a decent portion of tasty fries on the side. Excellent, excellent taste overall. If you ever happen to be in the Montreal airport, stop here!
Always swing by when I am at YUL, always great food and drinks! I quite enjoy the Cobb salad before a flight. It is filling and doesn’t sit to heavy on your stomach for the flight
The smoked pork & chicken was very bad. Chicken sandwich was okay. Our server was good tho, he was kind enough to not charge for the smoked dish. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this place considering the high price for subpar food
Best Poutine EVER!!! And Waiter was SO Nice!!
$46 plus tip for 2 breakfast. $5 coffee and $5 juice. Food wasn't good. Not sure what they did to the scramble eggs but they were disgusting. Beware, don't eat here. You are better off at Tim's or Starbuck. Edit: The price was a surprise since I was not given a menu but a simple rundown of the available items for breakfast. I thought "well it's breakfast can't be that expensive"... Mistakes were made I admit...
Reading previous reviews, I think maybe I was there on a bad night. I grabbed supper here with a coworker after our Air Canada flight was delayed. We both ordered the beef brisket sandwich. From the pictures, you can see that I didn't finish it. My coworker couldn't either. The beef was so overcooked that it was too tough to chew. I got through half the sandwich before giving up - and I am a big believer in not wasting food. When I opened up the sandwich, I actually found a piece of aluminum foil on the meat. The foil being in the food isn't a deal-breaker for me. I came on recommendations from a friend but ended up not enjoying my meal. The server was apologetic and offered something else, which was very nice of him. I didn't end up taking his offer because I wasn't hungry after trying to saw through the sandwich with my teeth. Just wanted to leave my honest experience for the next traveller who's looking for a meal between connections.
Really tasty food! Got the brisket grilled cheese and fries, would recommend! My bf got the beef brisket and it too was good. ????
Arrived, seated, no one even come to give me a cup of water, after 5 min, left. 3 waiters and 2 chefs sanding in a corner chatting together. When I'm about to leave, one of the waiters don't even feel the shame and ask me why do I leave.
Very good service, the prices are as expected for an airport (a bit high), but I've visited a few times and the food and beer is of a good quality, I would definitely recommend it ????
I know the reviews are less than stellar but my experience was so outstanding as to warrant a perfect score. Had a pulled pork sandwich that was honestly the very best I've ever had. Homemade pulled pork with homemade slaw was perfect. The meal was in front of me within 10 minutes. The servers were friendly and quick. The price was low less than 20$ all in. In an airport. Outstanding. Must visit if waiting for a flight in the Montréal airport.
Had the beef brisket... I think they originally forgot about my order but the wait was well worth it as it was delicious. And to top it off, Marc at the bar made up for the delay with a beer on the house - nice work, well done! Will be sure to visit next time I’m traveling through Montreal.
Myself and 2 sons were on a layover and wanted done really good food, and we weren't disappointed. Good size portions, fair prices, fantastic service and staff!! Highly recommend them!
Samuwl was quick kind and also funny! The food was pretty good!
The chicken burger was pretty good, especially for airport food. The salad didn’t really have dressing, just lemon juice. Overall it was decently priced for an airport, and our service was super lovely.
There is a male server, who is almost useless in the morning, zoned out. All he does is stand or walk around with one of his hands around his waist, while customers are waiting for their table or their check, and his fellow server is overworked and thus scarce. This server has trouble greeting customers, and forgets about them. He is not suited for the hospitality/restaurant industry until he is trained for his job. Everyone else seems seems to know what is expected of them. Previous visit, had the same male server, and had him change the dirty cutlery 3 times. Poor washing.
The chicken burger is excellent, nicely toasted bun with a breaded crispy piece of chicken breast and bacon served fresh and hot. The French fries are delicious and the right amount of food on this dish. several draft beer to choose from.
Always good
The best place to get food at the airport. Staff is exceptionally friendly and is close to lose departing gates. Very good food, reminiscent of Gastro style foods from downtown Montreal. I almost always come here when passing through
Came in late and they were nice to stay open and give us a beer when everyone else was closed. Jessica was our server...she was amazing!!! Thank you so much. Highly recommend coming here!!!
Accommodated for my vegetarianism, waitress was super nice and made fun of me for mispronuncing the beer name
Dine in
I came here for dinner recently. The server (Kaden) was very friendly and proactive. In terms of food, I tried their Smoked Beef Brisket BBQ. There was a nice slice of brisket that went really well with the sauce. The bread, coleslaw, and fries were decent as well. Overall, it was a bit pricey but pretty good food at the airport.
Meal type
There was a rather large bone in my chicken sandwich so I’m giving 4/5. Overall hospitality and service was good. Would visit again.
Really bad. Burnt chicken that was extremely dry. Also not the best service. Would not go back
Very clean and tidy place. Very professional, fast and friendly service..
Dinner
The greatest food and beer you can have without a doubt! Try everything!
Service was awful! Food was gross! I’m celiac and not a lot of choice except for Cobb salad with a lot of tasteless green dressing. But they have gluten free beer...odd when their menu doesn’t support a gluten free allergy! ???? Our male waiter was rude! It felt like he didn’t even want to wait on us! Bad on us for staying...we should have walked when he was taking our order!
Server never asked how food was probably because she knew it was horrible. The chicken wings tasted like they came out if a house fire. Never asked if we needed a refill or anything. We literally had to go and ask for the bill which was 65$ for wings a poutine and 2 drinks. Craziness, there is definitely better places to eat in the airport. Do not recommend
The food was really good, I took the pulled pork poutine. The sauce for the pork was simply delicious, I'd go back anytime.
Good experience. They have a few gluten free options which was nice and hard to find at other places in the airport.
Food was good. Waitress asked for our flight time to make sure we would make it, and that was appreciated.
i hope to serve plenty of water and 4$ coffees someday ♥️
Raw fish and gross everything.
Best BBQ in Montreal it most certainly is not despite their claims, however they got us our food quickly when we were in a rush to make our connecting flight. Beef was was very dry, and the roasted chicken sandwich seemed like it was made …
Wife and I shared the Half Chicken plate and Beef sandwich plate. Both were delicious and good portions. Will Come again if flying from domestic gates.
Worst meal I have had in awhile..half chicken and pulled pork..the pork they served me was all fat..the half chicken was a thigh with a tiny leg..fries were not what menu said.. way overpriced airport food..will not eat there again...
November 10, 2020, I was transiting Montreal Airport and visited the place. I had horrible service by the attendant, who was absolutely unprofessional and quite rude. The attendant at the store asked me to pay for the food, which had been covered by the Standard Chartered Signature Card yet, the server asked me to pay for the bills. Upon challenging that, the attendant asked for the tip that I was ready to pay, but I am quite upset about the whole incident and the dishonesty the attendant showed.
Awesome veggie Burger
Best sandwiches in the airport ???? But no customer service ????
One of the beat pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had, made waiting for my flight a dream
fish and chip is not good. Could not eat it beyond the first bite. server did not care at all. I will make sure to avoid this place going forward.
Food and service was horrible. Server demanded extra tip on top of his existing tip.
Took advantage of my priority pass membership and came here before my flight. I ordered the salmon salad and potato gems. The salad was ok but not the best. There was too much dressing on the salad and it was drenched in vinegar. I would have preferred if the salas dressing was on the side so that I could add it myself.
Service
Not a good place to relax. They do not have half the things on the menu. Ordered a Moscow mule filled to the brim with ice and no straw. Impossible to drink without spilling and the waitstaff callously said “we don’t have straws”. Never go here.
