Dr Clinton Lee

The ideal place for love and romance. Set in an inviting Italian styled winery with fountains and statutes. The wines are lovely and have structure and there is for sure a wine for every taste. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and some of them speak Italian too! This is a great destination getaway for the day and for treating that someone special in your life.

Took nearly 20min before we were acknowledged/spoken with, only to be told that he was too busy to help us. I understand being busy, but pouring a tasting for multiple groups shouldn't take much effort and shouldn't require one to wait until everyone else is done their tasting... When there are empty spots on the tasting bar.

Had an amazing experience here, we stopped by this vineyard after discovering it accidentally on the map. This place is a true gem!! Dr Lee was very friendly and knowledgeable and we received the best service even though we arrived just one hour before their closing hour.

What a beautiful winery with fantastic people and amazing wines! My fur baby - Coconut passed away. I purchased some personalized wine bottles for friends in loving memory of my dog. I selected a wine. Weiwei, their knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me design a label. I’m so happy with my beautiful custom labeled wine. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know!

This winery is set in an idyllic corner of Surrey and is very accessible by car and transit. They have a peaceful and relaxing space with a cosy tasting room and shaded veranda. The theme is love and they do a wonderful job of bringing special elements from walks in the vineyard with vista points and they will be adding love locks and other treats. For meetings and small celebrations ( birthday, anniversary small wedding) they have a lovely space complete with two TV's. If you are looking for a space for a wedding they have carved a lovely area into the vines for a tented space that is stunning. Patio can also host large groups. I highly recommend a visit to the winery for a tasting and a stroll amongst the vines.

the tour was okay been to better ones. Great groupon offer. I wished they showed us where they brewed the wine and it's better to go when there are grapes still on the stems. The building needs a lot of work, with some more sunlight inside and get rid of the bubble windows, and work more on the wooden retaining wall around the plants ( a lot of it falling apart ). overall the wine is very good and hope to see the company grow in many years to come.

Outstanding transformation of facilities - could not recognize the place having been several years before (past owners/Rivers Bend etc). Numerous kind and knowledgeable staff, wonderful scenic walking tours- great for a date! Surprising variety of wine to try, went home with a bottle of the 2011 Merlot, smooth as silk! Will be back again very soon!

Looking to get out of the house during these "unprecedented" times? Look no further than Vinoscenti! A friend booked a tour and I decided to join and tag along at the last minute, and let me tell you - I am still impressed and will most likely go back with other friends for another! My friend who booked it couldn't stop raving about how organized they were, so I suppose the first stop of greatness started in the correspondence and I have to say, from what I saw - they were accommodating and very timely. I appreciated the attention to detail in their responses via email/text. Especially when my friend told them I would be tagging along at the last minute with their group.. no problem. We chose a private tour due to COVID-19 and they demonstrated the perfect balance of safety and hospitality which is always greatly appreciated during this time. Our guide was James, who was extremely well informed, personable and and cultured. He provided a lot of education about the region/wines/history/etc, and provided humor and entertainment with the perfect balance of "good times".. an hour had passed by and I thought it was only 15-20 minutes. He was very enchanting, and I know definately I will be booking another go-around with them again. I can't wait to organize something and bring my other friends - this is one of the hidden gems during the pandemic, these tours - but not to take anything away from it, I would do it "pre-pandemic" and have had just as much fun. Thanks so much again! Oh, and the wine was GREAT!! :D

I was actually surprised to see how good looks this place now, compared to the previous management. Now it's more like an Italian-style winery with plenty of well maintained green spaces , perfect for a romantic evening if you're in a couple. Wines are great too - I would actually say they have a killer selection! They'll be opening very soon, so it's worth check the place out.

I had the great honour of taking the wine tour with Dr. Lee and his wife Nancy, the owners of the winery and two of the most knowledgeable and entertaining hosts I've ever met. They shared great tips that helped me really understand how to judge the quality of a good wine and their production is pretty high up in the standards. Good fun with marvellous friends, I'd go back every weekend if I could!

This is a small winery with lovely whites, and a knowledgeable staff and owner to help you learn, sample, and choose. It's similar to others, where the tasting fee is reduced by $5 if you purchase a bottle.

I can't rave about this place enough! My fiance, bestie, and I participated in the group wine tour and tasting. What we received was a super fun education on how to taste the wine properly and other useful tips. The genuine friendliness of Dr. Lee and Nancy made us feel so welcome. Dr. Lee is extremely educated in wine and has a list of credentials a mile long, but he was excellent at teaching on a level where even an occasional wine-drinker like myself could easily understand and remember. The wine is "outstanding" and the charcuterie platter was yummy. I look forward to visiting again in the future and I would highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for delicious wines, beautiful landscape, friendly faces, and to maybe even learn something new.

Wine is great. Suggestion to owner, follow similar tastings of other wineries that credit the tasting cost towards a purchase of a bottle of wine.. ended up paying $30+ for a $19 bottle of wine, and 3 small tastings.

I found this beautiful winery in Surrey today while buying local fresh blueberries. At the winery, it was lucky for my husband and I to meet a grape wine expert named Dr. Clinton Lee. He professionally and patiently showed us how to correctly taste and evalute wines. The wines we tasted were so good - very smooth and had nice and long lasting aroma in the mouth. Besides the good wine, this winery also had very luxurious and fully equiped rooms for meetings and special occasions. Outside, there was a breezy patio surrounded by pink roses and decorated with water fountains and statues. My 2 boys also had a good time there because of Dr. Lee. I would definitely recommend this winery to my friends for sure and come back for more great wines.

Decided to try this out of the way place that had a two year new owner from Hong Kong. Having been to many vineyards in the Okanagan, we we're surprised the tasting is a sit at a table affair that came with a bit of food to nibble on. Tastings samples were a healthy one once each but subtracted a star for only getting three tstings for $8 which wasn't waived if you bought a bottle. Minus another star for wine taste and another for wanting $21-$39 for a bottle of what we tried. We did not see any wine awards. We would have preferred a stand up tasting experience like other wineries in Langley. This place has a nice atmosphere and credit is due for warm and welcoming staff. We may try this place in a couple years to see if the wines and tasting experience has improved.

A lovely winery. There is a tasting room, patio space, a room for a private dinner and another, large room, that can accommodate a band and an event for 30 people. I tried a few wines and of those I liked their Riesling. Also, the owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon here! The owners went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. A table and chairs were set up in a shaded section of the vineyard where we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a charcuterie platter. Noticing that we were trying to take a couple of photos, Dr. Lee offered to take some of us. He was personable and entertaining. We will be back!

We had a lovely tour of the winery on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We were in a group of 10, all using a Groupon offer. The owner of the winery led the tour and spent over an hour explaining the philosophy behind the winery and the long term goals. He had a wealth of knowledge of wineries and wine making around the world and environmental concerns facing wineries today in changing climates. We tasted two whites and two reds and the owner gave us instruction in the proper wine tasting techniques. All rather fun. We ended with a shared charcuterie plate. All in all a lovely afternoon outing.

I went here with a few of my gfs and the wine was great! The lady taught us how to properly drink wine to see if the wine is any good. We enjoyed ourselves. The only reason why I'm taking one star off is because the wine tour was a tad boring unfortunately. Not sure what she can do to make it better, but once the wine started pouring in, it was a blast!

My partner and I were just at Vinoscenti Vineyards yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Having been to Sonoma, Napa, the Interior of BC etc... for wine tasting, we wanted to try something local. We were blown away by the level of education we received. Dr. Lee (that's right, he's got a PHD) is a TRUE historian. Not only is he one of the worlds finest educators about wine, he also knew about World history and culture. So inspiring! The tour was bout 90 minutes and we were able to taste 4 wines and enjoy a charcuterie plate as well. We really enjoyed learning the process of how to taste wine correctly and Dr. Lee was intent on doing it a few times with us so it really stuck! We will most definitely be going back to the Vineyard and bringing more people to enjoy this delightful place. They even sang me Happy Birthday :) Thanks Dr. Lee and the whole staff. We will be back!

I am writing on behalf of my husband and myself. My sister and brother-in-law highly recommended we visit Vinoscenti Vineyard to sample the delicious wines made from grapes grown and bottled on site. She also encouraged me to meet the new proprietor, Dr. Clinton Lee, to hear about his plans for cultural events that include classical music. I am a guitar teacher with a classical background and I perform for my extended family on occasion. After meeting Dr. Lee I was truly enchanted and inspired. Dr. Lee and his staff are offering an experience that I believe Greater Vancouver, as a world renowned City, is more than ready for. Most of us are living in perpetual busyness. This is lauded in our society, however, we must stop to celebrate our privilege and good fortune. I stopped for such a moment to taste a chilled Riesling and chat with Dr. Lee about his plans for the vineyard. Partaking in a glass of excellent wine accompanied by intelligent discourse has made me appreciate the wonderful job I have as a guitar teacher and performing musician. Thank you Dr. Lee and staff at Vinoscenti. I look forward to kicking off our Vino e Musica series.

This was our first visit to a BC winery coming from Ontario. We really loved our experience with the tasting. The lady who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and was fun to talk with. She helped us discover how it is to properly drink wine and to our surprise we both don't think Red Wine is so bad now! We would recommend this to anyone visiting the area

This was such a wonderful tasting. I have been very fortunate to have been on tours within bc many times and I did not know what to expect when going into surrey. From the moment Dr.Lee took the stage, to the duo playing music, to Brenda bidding us farewell the experience was above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Dr Lee is amazing. He did our tour which lasted almost an hour! I am not complaining. This man is super entertaining, he had my boyfriend and I giggling the entire time. This was my first tour. I learned how to taste the wine, what to look for and learned lots of history about wines. My boyfriend and I shared a platter of cheese and a bottle of wine out in the vineyard, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Definitely check this place out!! It's wonderful

Vinoscenti has a beautiful property and friendly staff. I attended the wine tour and found it to be rather unsafe with the uneven ground largely covered in tall grass, foliage and prickly branches. Their response was they are taking a sustainable approach. When we returned to the tasting I was excited to sample. After a long educational review of the wines we were able to taste. Of the 3 wines there was nothing that stood out, they were okay.

First of all, very kind, friendly, and knowledgable staffs. The Winery has great wine introduction courses which you can take. If you are into wines, Vinoscenti is a great place to start. It's a perfect place to take your partner on a date where you can enjoy the scenic views while enjoying couple glasses of wine. Would definitely go visit again!

The staff was warm, welcome & it's a cozy winery. There was very light rain & we didn't get to go outside into the vineyards which was a bit of a bummer. It was very educational, however if you are mainly interested in wine tasting I wouldn't recommend this place. You get 4 half ounce glasses of wine to taste from in the span of a hour. I also found it a little rude that Mr. Lee and one of his colleagues were talking in their own language in front of his group. Everyone in the group had to introduce themselves and also share their field of work, I think that is too personal & not everyone is comfortable with doing that. The wine tasted good & it was interesting to learn how to differ good wine and bad wine. It was overall an ok experience.

Spent a relaxing and beautiful afternoon here with great friends. After the wine tasting, we sat down to wine and a few platters of appetizers in the picnic area under a shaded tent. Lovely vineyard, peaceful and serene. Staff is super friendly and the service top notch. Angel and Serena were the best. Thank you Vinoscenti for a great afternoon.

I planned part of a bachelorette party here. They went above and beyond with every aspect of our event. They had platters of different fancy meats and cheeses, veggies, fruit and even made us warm baked bread. Now they don't have a restaurant but we pre-ordered the platters and did a lovely picnic out in the vinyard. We all picked a few samples of wine to try and were giving a little demo on how to properly taste wine, which was really neat. They also have local artist work throughout the winery for sale, from paintings and coasters to gorgeous glass art. This place is fantastic with a great atmosphere and beyond nice staff. HIGHLY recommended ????????
