It was a very good experience! We tried 6 types of fruit wines, of which the cranberry wine is my favorite! Black-currant wines is also a must-try on the wine list! It has smoky smell, but the perfect balance of sweetness and tart acidity makes it a good match with the steak! Damon is super nice, he patiently explained some technical brewing and raw material selection questions to us, and encouraged us to know more about wine! Both my friends and I believe the wine here will become one of our top-choice on the gift-list! We also tried the ice wine! The brix is high, but I still want to try the second cup when I am in diet :) thanks to my friend’s invitation and the wonderful tasting experience, it gives me another reason to love Vancouver! ????????????

Canada Berries has professional and knowledgable staff who are friendly and customer service oriented. They patiently waited on my friend and I and introduced 9 different types of wine for us to taste and informed us what types of food goes with each fruit wine, and the health benefits of each fruit. The wine is delicious, I really liked Blueberry and Raspberry wine. The location is also a great meeting space with a second floor which hosted an investor presentation that I attended last year. It is spacious and got a big TV with tables and chairs so it was perfect. I also attended a Chinese New Year festival several years ago there with over 1,000 people in attendance with lots of live entertainment under big tents with proper stage, and lots of vendors. It has a big parking lots and it's all free so it's a fantastic venue. I highly recommend this winery. I have given out many of their wine as gifts, and people really like it!

I did wine tasting last year at Canada Berries Winery with some of my friends, and we liked it very much. To my surprise, they have vegan wine as well. As a matter of fact, they are one of a few wineries that produce vegan wine in Canada. I'm going there again this year to have wine tasting. So far, their blueberry wine is my favorite among their fruit wine. It was so interesting to see how they make the wine and we enjoyed the tour very much. It was a very good learning experience. I've been to other wineries but nothing like this one. If you'd like to support our local winery business, please come to their farm to try their wine, you won't be disappointed.

Super impressed with my experience here! Damon was down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and friendly. Wines were delicious and unique. The wines are so versatile, they pair well with everything! They're also vegan-friendly (lots of other wineries use animal by-products). They have fresh and local blueberries next door from their farm too. Would 100% recommend!

Came here for a wine tasting. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the wines. We tried the blueberry, cranberry, gooseberry, raspberry, blackberry, black current wines and the Angel’s Kiss sparkling wine. My favourite one was definitely the blueberry wine! Our host Julie was absolutely sweet and was really knowledgeable on the wines. We will definitely recommend their wines to friends and family visiting Canada!

Recently I visited a quaint winery located in Richmond, B.C. owned and operated by the Canada Berries Winery (formerly known as Sanduz Estate Winery). Joined by several friends our group were treated to a unique wine tasting reception hosted by a very knowledgeable and skilful staff member of Canada Berries; Mr. Damon Do. At the inception it is obvious that Mr. Do has acquired extensive knowledge in a multitude of areas essential to the science and art of the winemaking process. He even impressed the seasoned wine aficionados amongst our group skilfully providing creative answers to enthusiastic queries. While obviously grapes are most commonly used in the traditional winemaking process Canada Berries uses locally grown fruit berries, in particular, blueberries in their unique wine making system. The use of fresh locally grown blueberries to make wine corresponds well with the fact that Canada is the most prolific grower and exporter of blueberries in the world. Mr. Do began our very pleasant wine tasting experience with Canada Berries’ flagship blueberry wine. After adeptly explaining the special characteristics and health benefit virtues of blueberry wine Mr. Do followed with wine tasting samples of cranberry, gooseberry, raspberry and blackcurrant wines. Perhaps most surprising is the fact that these best of fruit wines are actually made in dry table styles with the most notable exception being the blackcurrant wine which is of the sweeter variety. I am by no means a sommelier or expert wine steward, however, I do believe if I had been served some of these fruit wines in a blind tasting I would likely have said it was an uncommon variety from Italy or France. The light-bodied semi-dry very special blueberry wine is a brilliant garnet colour and full-fruited bouquet taste that is quite invigorating which unexpectedly manages a satisfying lingering finish. The blackcurrant wine has an abundant nose of rich black fruit with notable floral elements leading to a balanced delicious mouth sensation edged with just the right amount of tartness. Blackcurrant is the most common flavour descriptor of the most popular grape variety in the world: Cabernet Sauvignon. It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse a visit by locals and visitors to Canada Berries tasting room and retail store located in East Richmond to enjoy this delightful experience.

We had an incredible time visit the Canada Berries Winery in Richmond and had a chance to sample 6 of their Fruit Wines: Gooseberry, Blueberry, Cranberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, and Black Currant. Our favourites were the Cranberry and Black Currant flavours. All of their wines are made with top quality ingredients and are event vegan friendly! We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try some of the top quality wineries in Richmond. They served us a lovely cheese and cracker platter to compliment our tasting and Damon our server was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the history and ingredients and tastes of the wine.

I've never been a big fan of wine before because I've only ever had red and white wine. Over time as I got older I grew to appreciate it more. Trying the wine at Canada Berries helped me appreciate it even more. I much prefer the taste of berry wine over grape. I enjoyed their variety of different berry wines a lot! I visited Canada Berry Winery today with my girlfriend. We really enjoyed the wine tasting. The wines were delicious, and the host was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great Saturday afternoon with these amazing wines. Also, it is easy to find parking. Highly recommend to spend the weekend here to enjoy the fruit wine and sunshine here.

Our team visit Canada Berries recently and we were blown away! Their wine selection was simply amazing! Mynor De La Cruz, our host was very knowledgable and informative. He explained everything from history, harvesting to processing. Canada Berries nests upon the lush, rich agricultural land of Richmond in “Beautiful British Columbia”; which is world renowned for producing the best blueberries. Next to the mountains with ample rainfall, numerous varieties of blueberries and other berries all grow in the Fraser Valley region providing Canada Berries with the right ingredients for making the perfect berry wines.

Had a wonderful wine tasting here a few weeks ago. Tried all their delicious berry wines; each one has its own distinctive flavour. Our host was friendly and knowledgable. Canada Berries Winery offers various types of fruit wines, they grow their own blueberries and hand-pick the best ones to produce great quality fruit wine. The wine tasting tour by Damon was educational and informative. Their fruit wine pair well with any dishes, from appetizer to main course and dessert ...and my favorite was the blueberrry wine, it has a fairly intense blueberry flavor and not very sweet. High recommend to check this place out !

Gooseberry, raspberry, cranberry, all having this acidic, overpowering taste. That's despite chilling in the fridge. These wines need to be paired with food to balance the palate. Serving alone? I wouldn't.

We had a wonderful time visiting Canada Berry Winery! The staff was super friendly and very hospitable. Lovely ambience and very casual setting. Not super bougie, in fact very family friendly! As for the wines, you gotta try their blueberry and blackcurrant in their fruit wine collection! The flavors of the fruits really come through as they only use primary flavors in these wines. Quite a bit of fruit acidity. If you're a big fan of sweeter wines, I'd definitely recommend the blackcurrant. When you're there, ask for Damon and Minor, they're very knowledgable and go out of their way to teach you about how to taste!

I was invited to a wine tasting at Canada Berries Winery by a dear friend. I had no idea there were wineries in Richmond minutes from Vancouver and was not familiar with berry wines. I was very curious as to what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised. Reena and Julie were great hosts (sorry if I misspelled your name). Their passion showed through their knowledge and enthusiasm. We started with a nice plate of olives, cheese, crackers, olives, almonds, and hummus to nibble on during our tasting. We started with the driest wines and worked up the sweetness ladder - Angel's Kiss, a sparkling fruit wine; Blue Queen Special Edition, their signature blueberry wine - they are on a blueberry field after all; cranberry, gooseberry, raspberry, blackberry (my favorite which I took home), black currant and Blue Queen Gold - a blend of blueberry and cranberry. Then we tried the Sanduz Estate Viognier wine made with grapes from the Okanagan. The Sanduzes own the blueberry farm and they originally started the winery. We ended off our tastings with the Reisling and the Merlot icewines; nice, sweet and smooth :-) Reena was wonderful - giving us a rundown on each wine we tried, what food they paired nicely with (let's admit it - wine goes with anything), and answering our many questions. As mentioned earlier, the winery is located on a blueberry farm so you can buy blueberries direct from the farm - both fresh (when in season) and frozen are available. They also had a variety of fresh mushrooms for sale when we were there. I recommend a wine tasting at Canada Berries and stocking up on some of their tasty berry wines, great for your summer BBQs and socials!
