Being the only government liquor store in the town it's a welcome stop. Seems to have a large variety of spirits and wine, and just the required variety for ciders and beers. No parking lot but streets are usually empty enough for pulling over.

They had the product but I wanted but I had to wander through out the store to find it. When I gave up looking and asked someone to assist me he looked in the same places that I looked and of course it wasn't there. Then a wavelength hit him and he recalled where it would be. That in itself tells me that the powers-that-be don't know their product very well otherwise it would have been where both the customer and the server naturally went looking for it. But then again it is a BC thing I suppose.

Best selection and service in Kamloops. Is often busy on weekends and especially before a long weekend. Staff is helpful and responsive; many are well educated about wine and beer. We've had a few bottles of wine that were corked and they've promptly exchanged them. Great store.

Rarely do I give a 5 star review but I definitely have to do so here. I know how much of a jacka$$ the DSM for this store is and I am totally blown away at how awesome of a job these folks at this location do at keeping everything well stocked and the lineups to a bare minimum despite the lack of support from Dale. The manager of this store and their staff deserve hats off... keep up the good work you guys. AWESOME SERVICE

The staff here is very rude about I'd requirements. Asked for second piece of id without telling me what all qualify as second id . I later checked credit card qualifies and I was paying with credit card and showed him my resident card. I guess they are just jerks misplaced sense of importance. Avoid this place

Unsurprisingly the BCL is the best liquor store in town. It's got the best selection and almost the same prices as the beer and wines that'll undercut it on a few things. Only thing the place doesn't have is great hours, but still worth going here over any others if it open. You can find some excellent craft beer like field house and dageraad here which currently isn't available elsewhere in town. Also the best place for cocktail ingredients.

I went into this store with my friend today, she wanted to get wine we went to the cashier. One of lady's that's worked at the cashier wasn't not very nice, she asked for my ID or get out of this store. I tell her that I wasn't buying anything and I have my wallet in my vehicle. So she kicked me out of the store. She told my friend that you shouldn't bring friends with you into liqour stores or they have to be id'd too. And when She said I'm sorry I didn't know that, cashier said "well that's why we educate you". Next time people go in there that are 19 or 30, ID them before they go into the store, or have a paper on the door that said have ID before you come in the store yes you got to ID people that go into the store that buy beverages. But seriously you don't have ID people if your not buying anything or ask nicely to leave. There are more liquor stores that have nicer people, Never going back there again.
