Hayden Chen

You know what to expect at Lucille's Great time and great compagny Good food and fresh seafood Very busy so make sure to book in advance or take a chance of u dare Good steak They dry age it themselves Good choices for surf and turf Seriously thought make a reservation Its very worth it Theres just something missing ... I cant really tell but I know theres always room for improvement

Jan Eurelson

this a dessert review. I just ordered a chocolate "ganache" cake for 10$. this is not ganache. just looking at the color your can tell. tasted like a cake from a grocery store. really disappointed :(

jean-marc riscale

Great food, ambiance and service. The food is overpriced but it’s worth it for a special dinner

leto BG

Delicious seafood.

Frédérick Doucet

Delicious food, we tried octopus (full portion) and surf&turf and highly recommend both dishes.

Globetrotting Beards

Too loud food not that amazing for the price....the meat on the ribs were not coming off easy

P A

Hands down, they have best steak in Montreal! Customer service was good and will definitely come back for the steak and the octopus

Curren Dewan

A great night at a great restaurant! We ate a series of entrees, it was a flavour explosion! We highly recommend Lucille’s, for oysters and more!

Peter Cahill

Good steak and seafood. Gotta try the grilled octopus with Greek salad. One of a kind

Zouky Melorize

Great service as usual and the food was good too.

Oren P

Used to love this place..but the waiters were unpleasant since the reopening

Sean & Pouces

The food was amazing, really fresh (we took a winter crab and a dozen oyster and some fries)! However, it is really expensive, even for a higher-end restaurant... Most main dishes cost around thirty or so and the entrees are half that price. If your paying yourself a treat, I guess it's worth it since the food is good

Marianna G. Montreal

Love their lobster rolls and ribs from their food truck. The New York Steak and prawns was well made and delicious, oysters were wonderful. Their seafood bloody Cesar was amazing.

Piro Dhimitri

I had the Shrimp Zoodles and my friend had the beef carpaccio!! the beef carpaccio was DELICIOUS!!! generous portion too! Would not complain about my zoodles since I was on a diet. The service was excellent also! Will definitely come back ❤

Natasha Taggart

Must try lobster rolls!

Konstantin

Really great burgers, lobster rolls, tartar etc... One of the best meals I've had in ages!

Josh

The wine was just ok. Took the waitresses suggestion on the pinot grigio, dryer than I prefer others enjoyed it. Shared oysters and fish tacos to start. The oysters were incredible with just lemon or with all the provides accoutrements. The fish tacos were a little bland, but much better once hit with the lemon and toppings that came with the oysters. My main was the grilled shrimp salad with avocado. If you like avocado and super tasty grilled shrimp you will enjoy this salad. If you're very hungry though, order a side of fries. The 6 shrimp are nicely sized, but for 36$ the plate should be more than 1/3 full. We shared a dessert, chocolate mousse with peanuts. Delicious way to end the meal a nice strong cup of coffee. The service was great for the first 90 minutes, but it took an extra 30 plus minutes to get the coffee and dessert.

Fabio Reis

Food was amazing, manager was very rude and made it a very unpleasant visit

Armen Momejian

Best oysters in Monkland. Drinks and staff are top

P H

Overall it was a nice experience. The portions were fair. Service was good and pretty fast. My girlfriend loved her zucchini noodle and shrimp dish. I got the ribs which were average. The cooking was alright but the taste was very bland but then again its on me to buy ribs at a seafood restaurant. I would recommend this place for a date for seafood lovers.

sweetice50

1$ Oysters were great. Best calamari I may have ever ate in my life. Service was a bit slow so I couldn't give a 5 star

Marc LeGuen

Always amazing!

STEPHANE D'ASTOUS

Awesome lobster grilled and lobster rolls!

Sp 550

Had a great experience. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. I has the lobster roll and ribs, both were delicious. My date had a steak and prawns, good food and a nice presentation. $1 oysters were obviously great too. Prices were reasonable. Overall, I would definitely visit again.

Mary Standjofski

I love Lucille's oyster dive. The one in Brossard is way better in terms of service and vibe

Geoffrey Chu

Very tasty seafood however small portions and for the price definitely would expect to be more full after. Grilled calamari appetizer had 4 pieces of calamari and and seared tuna portion was also fairly small. Grilled octopus Greek salad was quite delicious. All that being said, I supposed seafood is inherently more expensive. Tasty but won't be running back soon

Roger Vassallo

Loved the service and the general ambiance. All the aromas coming from the open kitchen just give you a preview of what's to come. Try the grilled octopus, you won't regret it!

Miss Fay

Amazing service and a great place to bring the family or even a date. Having a night out with the boys? Lucille's is the spot. Lucille's on monkland is also doing dollar oysters! The steaks are on mouth watering and the lobster is amazing.

Cloé

Really rude waitresses. Bad bad service. Seafood platter was good.

Véronique Méthot

First timer & the food was a delicious! The vibe at the restaurant was welcoming & positive! I love it & will be coming back????

Naomi Y

A great restaurant with an amazing selectio of steaks and seafood. I have had amazing Porterhouses here (the portions for the Porterhouse are very large, usually for 2 people but it can feed several people if you combine it with a few appetizers). The Porterhouses have to be reserved in advance and they go quickly. The Monkland location is a bit bigger than the Ste Catherine Street location. The restaurant is often near capacity (It's just that good!) so make sure you get a reservation.

Nick Wheeler

Recently moved. Great food, slightly on the pricey side. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

m a r i

Fantastic spot. Oysters are amazing, ambiance is great. The prices are reasonable. Would recommend for a date or a casual outing.

Richard D

Amazing seafood! I highly recommend this place. It is expensive but definitely worth it.

Edgar

We tried LUCILLE'S at Atwater Market earlier this summer and their seafood was very fresh and delicious. We tried their Fried Calamari, Lobster Rolls and Sweet Potato Fries, and we really enjoyed them. Their portions weren’t huge but, the quality and price ratio was reasonable.

Josh Le

Great staff, great atmosphere! The oysters were delicious and so was the rest! I will be back

Rachel Labbe

Best place for seafood and age beef-steak. Pricey but it worth every cent. Large wine selections.

Ira Allen

Opens at 5 pm, balcony is open, time to get your girl a nice dinner there.

Eric Ayache

Excellent food and fast service!

Vanessa Sicuso

The best seafood in town. We ordered the lobster lovers platter and were over the moon. Lobster bisque, lobster Mac and cheese and a lobster roll. Enough food to be pleasantly full. The service is amazing, quality and price perfect and centrally located (for both the restaurant and the food trucks.) **very LGBTQ friendly

DannyT

Never get the beef tartares it was so bad i took a bite and sent it back. The service was rude and the steak and potatoes were just OK. For the price I would go somewhere else.

Olena S.

We came here on our last night in Montreal! It was amazing! We sat at the bar and Ally served us and she was wonderful! The service was unbelievable fast even though the place was packed. There was not an open seat in house and everyone was hustling and hustling getting things done. The oysters were fantastic, the chowder was to die for and the tacos were yum! Mojitos were amazing and definitely lived up to the hype. Everything was fresh and hot and everyone was so friendly and polite. This was definitely a great finish to a wonderful trip! A must visit for sure!

M C

First time here for a friend bachelor party. Went on a Saturday night and they were not taking reservations. There was never a long line to wait for a table but it seemed like there was always someone waiting to be seated. I didn't get to try oysters but did get to try their fried calamari, lobster roll and avocado fries all of which were amazing! Will definitely be going back!

Boy Oh Boy.... what a dud.... We showed up pumped to our reservation on a Sunday hoping to feast on amazing fresh seafood in a cool ambiance. We had read from other reviewers that this place wasn’t worth its price and makes incomprehensible mistakes such as using cheap grocery store bacon bits or serving you a fanned piece of iceberg lettuce as a salad but decided to go anyway and make up our own minds. We started the evening with 15$ drinks hoping for some amazing flavours. Nope, anyone reading this review can do better at home. We also had to remind the staff twice to bring our second round of drinks as it was never delivered. Then we got slack for reminding them. Starting with the appetizers, we tried the fish tacos (18$) and some fried calamari (18$). Portion wise, this was a joke for both... Anyone has better fish tacos around Monkland for less and as for the calamari, let’s just say we expected more freshness from a seafood restaurant. Then came the main courses. We ordered the surf and turf, or shall we say, prepackaged boiled up ribs and with tiny and super chewy lobster roll for 36$. We also had the steak and prawns. The meat was ok but the prawns were chewy and the taste was off. This was also served iceberg lettuce (lazily chopped into a quarter wedge) for 32$. We had the fish and chips, also tasteless and the worse meal of all, the Asian style salmon tartare, served with shrimp chips you can find in an Asian grocery store for 1,25$. This was also served with the lacklustre iceberg lettuce wedge for... drumroll, 25$... This would perhaps be acceptable at a place like Scores. But with prices rivalling Joe Beef, Bremner, Garde-Manger, etc., we were a expecting a level of quality that simply wasn’t there. How’s this place still open or worst yet, expand to other locations is beyond incomprehensible... Shame on everyone involved with this establishment or its brand. Pure garbage at the cost of 280$+.

Mesha Chow

Excellent food. Pricey but you get what you pay for. We sat at a table with high chairs and I do not recommend those since after a while it's uncomfortable. The fish was tasty and fresh. The starters are great. Although I was told that their steaks are to die for I have to say that the Keg's are better because they are thicker and less saturated with salty spices. It was still good though. A bit noisy around 8:30 however that's to be expected.

Domenic Gentilini

Overpriced for no reason. Yes, oysters are good and price is kinda fair. But everything else on the menu is expensive, like fish n chips for 23$, ribs with fries for 27$ (I had better ribs at Scores) this is not NY or LA for these insane prices

Stephanie Rochemont

Delicious. Great service. Would recommend to anyone who loves seafood. Their litchi martinis are also great.

Walaa Tfaily

Culinary experience in Montreal. 1$ oysters and dinner plates are highlights.

Sabrina Makarios Matamoros

Randomly walked in with friends. We had a warm welcome. Great ambience. Food was served in a timely manner. Great service. Also had a good wine selection and delicious ceasar

Katherine Yang

Expensive however that's not something they are trying to hide ????. Lobster roll was pretty good... burger was on the small side, I think they can do better on the size...yes they are not a burger joint I know but still! They have good seafood, went to the food truck and restaurant definitely recommend. I went there starving, should have gone to my usual Big Mac trio with a double cheese and a putine!????

Julie RS

Ate here for a birthday as a group of 6. The service was good... the waiters varied throughout the night but they were flexible and allowed us to collectively pay the tabs of the 2 Birthday girls ... we didn't have to figure out the math, we each got our bills with a fraction of their meals included which made it very easy to pay for our friends discreetly. The food was very filling. Overall the good was good it was not the best seafood or food ever but it was enjoyable. The Fries however were amazing and the bean snap salad had this ginger dressing on it that was surprisingly outstanding! The environmental was nice and rustic but very very tight. It's so close together that everyone can pretty much hear everyone's conversations. A couple behind our group actually found our conversations quite entertaining lol however we did not mind their ease dropping because the place was tight and we're pretty easy going. Once a lineup had developed at the door the waiters did politely encourage us to get going because they needed the space... thankfully for us we were already finished and decided to have desert elsewhere.

Sophie P.

Food was very good. Staff was very friendly. Rebecca was amazing

Mélanie Langlois

Amazing food Sit at the bar for the full experience

Nicolas Bourges

Oysters were good, but not the best I've tasted. Fish ceviche was amazing, calamari was good. DO NOT ORDER AVOCADO FRIES they are disgusting. Imagine hot, mushy avocado with breadcrumbs. Atmosphere is very loud and noisy like a sports bar. Wasn't the best place.

Nick Pitt

Great atmosphere, great food, hot staff that know service is key. Place was absolutely packed on a Sunday night make reservations. Going back

Lor enza

Food was okay, kind of pricey, place not worth the price. It was so hard to move without knocking the next table's drinks.

Misha G.

Enjoyed my experience there. Great atmosphere, ambiance, service and food!

Steven CHEUNG

Service was excellent. Servers were so polite and attentive. Drinks were good BUT the food, I got fish and chips and it was soooooo damn oily, after like 4 bites..I JUST COULDN'T.

Renaud Nolin

A rare unique find as the amazing oysters they serve. Comfortable place with a perfect mix of ambience. First tome but definitely not my last. Awesome aged steaks that are hand cut to your order. And oysters....its not just their name. Everyone I asked about the Lucille's said they heard it was great, I'm telling you they are tops. DG

Lisa George

I used to work there. Clean cozy place with great staff. Was Often frequented by Montreal Canadiens players including Andrei Markov. Bloody Caesar includes a Lobster Claw, mmm so good. Don't know if they still serve nacho shrimps but they were my favourite.

Paul Kasak

Really excellent seafood; fantastic mussels, cajun shrimp, calamari and more. Other dishes looked spectacular. Our hostess and waitress were delightful and attentive. The reason Lucille's Oyster Dive doesn't get five stars is the shattering din of the place. A quick and simple bit of sound buffering on the ceiling would solve the issue almost immediately; but my dinner companion and I really had to yell to communicate... it's not "atmosphere," it's just bloody loud. Busboys were also just a bit rough around the edges in a way that suggested they didn't really care. I would definitely return for the food and hope to sit outside. Solve the noise problem, and this is a fantastic, fun restaurant.

Kevin

I went with my cousins ..great food! Great service! Awesome atmosphere

Anthony Pascale

Fake menu, says oysters are 1$ but they are 2.5$ each (because of covid...?) Lucille's at laval are 1$ anyday, very disappointed!

Trish

The food arrived very quickly and everything tasted delicious! Good portions, flavourful and perfectly cooked. The only downside was our waitress kept coming back to us to confirm what we’ve ordered, seems like they don’t write it down.

Dusan Boskovic

Great job tonight, Mike and staff!! Best oysters, best staff, best atmosphere for sea food in Montreal.

Jennifer Hickey

Oyster on Wednesdays!

Vicar Yang

Amazing service & they greet you with kindness. The food is tasty , I got the ribs and it came with fries . The sunrise cocktail is refreshing and sweet , definitely a cocktail to order .

Tahir Shafique

Food is great, especially the grilled octopus. I don't have picture because I was more preoccupied by eating so you gotta make do with what others posted. Go.

I used to order almost every weekend from The Fairview location via Uber eats. The food is excellent! No doubt about it! BUT they need to work on their service. Lately (for the past 3-4 weeks), my order would get cancelled 30-40 minutes after placing it on Uber. So imagine, instead of getting your food in 30-40 minutes you had to start all over and order from somewhere else. Very disappointing!! So, last Saturday, I decided to go IN PERSON and order ahead of time (2pm) for supper time so that they don’t “run out” of food. After first refusing to take my order, SHE finally agreed. The food side was right on time, perfect! I also ordered from the oyster bar for same time pick up. As I went to pick that up, guess what??!! They forgot to put my order aside and again “sorry we ran out”!!!! ???????????????????? I mean come on!!!!! After reassuring me of my order you FORGET? They need to be more organized and work on their organization and service skills, this will dramatically impact on their reputation as a reliable merchant. I hope upper management and their marketing team work on improving this bad service. I will definitely think twice before ordering again ( if I ever will).

Olivier Labrie

Un tartare sans comparaison. Tartare without comparison. I have no words for this experience other than #CHEERS, welcome, and #ENJOY! The glass of Sancerre was a superb compliment to the tartare, by the way, if you love wine but usually hate whites, this girl is your gal: fini minéral, not buttery, dry but not abrasive, available by the glass! ????

Bianca R.

My favorite place for sea food, very high quality service, lovely waitresses, sincere and cool music????????????????????????????

Casey Sidhu

Can't wait to come back here

naila debbache

Oysters ❤ Their tacos are good too. I haven't tried anything else.

Maria Ac

We had reservation last Friday night at 8pm, only got seated at 8:40pm ( 40 mins later) meanwhile we were told to wait outside in the cold, manager was very unprofessional, didn't even apologized but said " haven't you waited at other restaurants before?" this is normal. Not coming to this branch again, will stick to the one in Brossard are staff and manager are much nicer.

MyLove

Great!! except the lobster was really small and had no meat , and tasted weird. The octopus was FAB.

Nick Dymond

High quality seafood restaurant with casual atmosphere. Lobster roll and octopus were standouts.

Epode

The food and service was good.

Zhihao Eric

We had the half seafood platter and oysters. Delicious ???? Service highly efficient and friendly attitude.

David M

Staff was helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was electric. Had the 19 ingredient salad with tuna and it was great. Two star rating is based on the menu being wildly overpriced. We also had the double burgers with fries. They were well done with cheese that resembled Kraft American singles. Could have had the same meal 4 times at A&W.

Charles Tatossian

not impressed at all. the food did not have much flavour in it. the fish and chips came out super oily. the fries were brownish and tasted like burnt oil that have been boiling for weeks. place was super noisy wont be going back there.

Lena Yamolky

Always good and tasty. Well prepared take-outs. It's a sure bet!

Jeff S.

It is a little expensive, the waiter did a funny face and roll over his eyes when we asked only water with our food and shared the main course. We eat guedille au homard. It was really good. I'm taking a star away for the waiter attitude. We still spend over $75 for one main course and two appetizers.

Patrick Cyr

My wife and I love this place. You should definitely try the salmon and tuna tartar. The octopus salad is a must if it’s your first time here and the lobster rolls ????. I have nothing negative to say. Great staff, amazing ambiance, great liquor and wine choices. What more can you ask for! Bon appétit!

Athen B

Waitress are friendly and dishes are delicious.

Don Hoyt Gorman

Best food I ever had!

Amanda Labadie

Amazing food!! The drinks were super fun it was it’s own meal! Will return.... ♥️????????

melissa rousseau

Love the place, the food and music..

iiFroggwy Gacha Life

Amazing food. A lot of people say it’s overpriced but compared to the seafood haunts I’ve been to in the old port it really is not that bad. Their grilled lobster is cooked to perfection and their salmon tartare is the best I’ve ever had. When I want seafood I go to Lucille’s.

Amine R

I'd say the food is ok! I enjoyed the sauce and the spices on the salmon... But it wasn't cooked properly. Service was ok too... But not the most convivial. The price is pretty high for what you get... 28$ for salmon all alone... Would've needed to order 3 plate to feel full!

Joël L. Boucher

They are located a little bit outside of the center, but they have good food and cool staff.

Yiqiao Zhang

We went out with friends for my bday.Pictures describe everything.Amazing food, the taste is so different we had fish tacos, lobster rolls, salmon tartare, octopus no complained everything was well done to perfection.

Sylvia Nazirganian

I was craving seafood, so after researching for a place in Montreal, I had decided that I liked the look of the offerings on the menu. Went with my boyfriend one night. I had my eyes set on 1/2 dozen oysters for the entree. We were presented with 2 different types of oysters - both equally fresh and creamy. I enjoyed the red wine vinegar dressing out of the three which was served with it. For the main course, I had my eyes set on the Grilled Octopus with Greek salad, whereas the boyfriend has his eyes set on the Grilled Seafood with Chorizo in Piri Piri sauce. I absolutely adored my main course as the octopus was cooked to perfection - tender but yet there's just enough charring to give the smokey aftertaste. The salad was served rustic style - roughly chopped. I don't even like raw tomatoes that much, but paired with the sauce and feta, it was divine. As for the other dish, I loved the combination of flavours. The Piri-piri sauce was more like a broth and it was delicate but flavoursome. Didn't take a photo of the dessert but I had the chocolate mousse with candied/caramelised peanuts. That was the perfect light dessert to top off the meal we had. Service was good too, so no complaints there! Highly recommend this place and I will definitely try to return at some point to try the rest of their menu.

WearGQ

Awesome as usual. Attentive, prompt service. Great variety in the menu. Upbeat atmosphere. Just perfect

Christine Le

I was so looking forward to trying out Lucille’s but ended up being so disappointed. The staff isn’t accommodating nor flexible at all! The service was slow, it took almost 1 hour to just get our drinks. The mint in my mojito was rotten. The food was good but way overpriced. Two lobster rolls for 36$ in a regular hot dog bun…not special at all! All this to say, I was extremely disappointed and do not plan on coming back nor recommending it.

Taruna Kaur

Would usually give 5 stars but my last visit left me wanting a bit more. My NY Strip tasted good but was too rubbery and had too much fat for that type of cut. Overall everything else was good though.

Ali Mahmoud

Great food . Amazing presentation and awesome service.

Xena Wang

Great place for seafood lovers.

Matthew Bocsi

Excellent service and the food was amazing , the oysters are dynamite....

Steve Kovac

Amazing food and drinks- they have the best lobster rolls, clam chowder and oysters. Excellent staff and very cool vibe. Highly recommend!

Melody To

Happy your are back! Same amazing service and excellent tasty food! One of the best places in Montréal for seafood, fish and oysters!

Arabian Eagle

If you want good quality seafood in the area this is the spot. Service was great. Fely welcome. Trendy crowd. Bring yourself some great company and a good time will be had. Steak is great too, I had the bavette. Properly tender and marinated accompanying sauce above the norm. Definitely have yourself some tartar with it as well.

Bianca Kadoch

Eeh! Salty food.

Robert Poirier

Good lobster rolls, but a little overpriced in general. Their terrace and location are nice in the summer.

Julian Beh-Pold

A bit noisy but the food was excellent ! Ceviche and the grilled octopus were amazing. Very good service too !

M. S.

Expensive, but worth it. Everything here is great! I have had filet, lobster rolls and ribs, all delicious!

Mai-Linh Nguyen

Slow service and expensive food. Didn't really enjoy my plate, food was very bland and small portions. Drinks were very good, and they have excellent staff.

Taras O

Had an amazing night at Lucille’s Laval. Food was amazing as always and service even better! Carla Sarcone made it extra special by going above and beyond for my husband and I. Thank you!

Iris Doyle

Great oysters. Great drinks. Great barmaid.

Nicole El-Haddad

The atmosphere and the vibe is great. The food quality and the service is awesome. Our server Ally (I hope that's how it's spelled) was very sweet and informative. Buck a oyster everyday (malpaque). Two thumbs up.

Jung eun Park

I love coming here for their $1 oysters offered every night. However, I found their lobster rolls were not that great. Clam chowder was nice and hearty, calamari was tasty, salmon tartare needed more flavour, but still okay. Check out food.hot.spot on IG for photos of food.

Anne T.

Very good lobster

Laura B

Amazing ????????????????????????

Kelsey

Well executed food but beware of the grilled seafood dish - we ordered it and received 2 shrimps, 5 mussels, 3 calamari slices, 2 pieces of octopus and 2 pieces of chorizo. There was barely $7 of seafood in it and they were charging $34. They did not offer us anything after we questioned the portion size. I higher rating would have been earned had this not happened. The service is otherwise quite good.

Willowspritew W

Great food and service although it took long to get the food. We had lobster rolls, salmon tartar, twin burgers and they were all excellent. The fries were great too! A little pricy but to be fair portions were generous.

Aharon Silberman

If you’re searching for fresh seafood without breaking the bank, Lucille’s is definitely the best choice. We started with the $1 oysters which were amazing considering the price! We then added a few other dishes and since we were here for a birthday, we told the waitress who suggested dessert or shots. We went for the shots. The reason for the 4 stars is the service. I understand that not all restaurants have a birthday policy (a free little something) but since I was driving, I asked for a non alcoholic version. At the end, we noticed that they charged us for 4 shots ($6 each). Not the best way to make someone feel special on their birthday I must admit. I would suggest celebrating special occasions elsewhere.

Jenna Atuahene

Went there for my wife’s birthday and we had a great experience! The lobster rolls, although a bit small, were packed with flavor! Oysters, surf & turf, salmon tartar and cheesy mashed potatoes were among the list of delicious dishes we shared with friends! Great atmosphere and good service! Definitely worth the visit!

John Jr. Mahar

We walked in, made a reservation for the next day, they wrote it down and when we show up, they lost our reservation and won’t give us a table !!!

Julie Bienvenue

Never pick up uber delivery from them. They will keep you waiting telling its almost ready. Liars.

Kseniya Yatsenko

We reserved a food truck from Lucille's Catering. It was simply delicious Extraordinary people and great service. Thank you!

Lance Rock

It's more expensive here but it's good. They have good comfort food style dishes. Good ambience and solid service. Their ribs are great.

brynn

1$ oysters was good! Nice staff

Adil Dsousa

Good food good atmosphere. Overpriced and very small portions of food.

Tiffany Chan

Overall great experience. I highly recommend the Surf n Turf (for big appetites), which comes with a lobster roll, baby back ribs, and fries, as well as the cheesecake (so creamy!). Service is very friendly, the waiters are always kind and your water glass is always filled. The interior is very dim but it’s a nice vibe. A bit pricey though: Surf n Turf was 36$, fried calamari starter (very small) was 18$, cheesecake was 10$. Still, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re not on a budget!

Alice Beaudry

embarrassing managers, dont know how there own resto equipment works. pathetic

akram eldesouky

If this is what post-pandemic pricing and portions look like, I'll dine at home ???? Seriously, the service was fine, but the food was below average.

ADEOLA ADEYINKA

We have been to this restaurant 2 times before once during the early during the pandemic when the lights got turned off in the area and they came through with for a fantastic diner for my I........let’s skip ahead to my wife’s birthday December 1st 2020 I called a few days before n inquired about what I could order cause it didn’t seem right getting delivery from those online sites ,the women I spoke to was fantastic telling me not to worry n we could pretty much order anything cause tuesdays is not all that busy ..was told to call at 3 on make my order I called at 3 ordered a full octopus , the cauliflower ,beet salad 6 oysters and a half a crab ,clam chowder ...gentleman on the phone suggested I get a cheesecake since it was my wife’s birthday ...gave my credit card n was told it would be after 5 which was perfect for us Around 5 the same gentleman called and apologized said they couldn’t do the beet salad n asked if I could change it so I went with the kale salad ..I’ve had to beet salad before which was amazing so I went outta my comfort zone to try this salad Food arrived 30 minutes later it well packaged containers...food fresh !!! the food was absolutely amazing ...the taste on that octopus was top notch !!could taste the grill !!! ...everything that was ordered was AAAAA quality ..5 stars...and for that kale salad ...was the best salad I’ve had in years ....I can not express how grateful I am for the team who delivered my wife an absolue perfect evening all in the comfort of our own home ...all during the heat of a pandemic !!!! Bless you all have a safe and happy holidays Russell Dorais Sharon Boyle

Cesar Felix

No time wasting in picking up order.

Mike Cullen

The menu makes the food seem much more copious than what it is. My boyfriend and I split the grilled seafood and chorizo. For 34$ we didn't expect we would need to fill up on fries...we legit each got 1 piece of sausage, 1 shrimp, 1 piece of octopus and maybe 3 mussels. There was also supposed to be calamari...There was one ring. I'm thinking it's probably more worth it to go for the raw bar. The oysters were fresh. For 1$ I'm not gonna complain about the size. Things add up very quickly and to be honest, there isn't really a whole lot of ambiance to say that we're paying for an experience. Pretty sure there wasn't even any AC. All in all it was just a hot humid and overpriced experience.

D M

The wait was too long, an hour and a half in a Saturday but at least the food and staff was nice

Laurent Delarue

Good seafood

R Aslan

Pricey, chic, trendy, busy. Is it worth it? It's a toss up. A nice place to get together with friends, not a family place. Food is great and tasty but nothing memorable or to give word of mouth or even to come back and try something different. Cocktails are great, creative, full. Overall a place for an impression experience. RSVP to avoid the wait.

Michael Friedrich

Great restaurant and friendly service. Oysters are the best!! This location is my favorite of all the locations.

Amazing food, great cocktails and super friendly staff. Thanks to Sasha, Olivia and Lynn for the memorable experience! .

Great food, atmosphere and service. Had oysters, of course, then salmon tartar ????, lobster rolls and octopus (never had it before, not a fan of the texture but my Italian friend loved it). Definitely now one of my fave restos! ????

I called to make a reservation and asked for a table on the terrace and was told cannot reserve that and it is on a first come first serve basis. However when I reached there, 3 tables on the terrace were empty. I asked for one and I was told that I cannot get the empty tables on the terrace for it was already "allocated" to other groups who HAD NOT YET ARRIVED. When I told the hostess that this did not make sense, I was told "with lots of attitude " that I can always try another restaurant down the street if I am not happy with her service. We stayed for the food is good there but expected better service and less attitude from the hostess

Cozy spot for date night with my wife, food wine selection, samples several appetizers, Burrata was excellent, main dish was clams in white wine, fresh taste, all clams were open and none with a gamey taste, dessert was shared key lime pie, light and perfect (lived in s Florida and it was very close to Manny&Is a in the keys!). Will return!

You can't miss this place, it's just so good! I'm very satisfied with the food here and the service is also good. By the way, it is the first time to have an avocado Fries.

Delicious fish tacos and octopus. The lobster roll doesn’t live up to the hype.

Food was excellent. Ribs and fish and chips. Crispy calamari app was delicious. Only problem....waaayyy too loud. Music was so loud my wife and I couldn't hear each other and the waitress couldn't hear what we wanted to order. Too bad, as food was so good but left really disappointed as we did not enjoy the dinner.

The service was so great that it made the food taste even better (treat yourself to a lobster roll and a homemade limonade with sweet potatoes, it's a must)

Nice trendy spot. Salmon tartar was great. The clam chowder was ok though, but I'm particularly picky when it comes to clam chowder. Prices were decent and service was top notch.

Do yourself a favour and bring a date here. Have her order the lobster rolls (2) and take a full octopus Greek salad. You’ll have the best of both worlds as you can enjoy a lobster roll each which a fresh salad of grilled octopus which is on par if not better than some of the finest establishments in Montreal. And if you’re still hungry for whatever reason (judgement free zone) just order dollar oysters as required. Thank me later.

Food is fantastic, best grilled octopus + Greek salad and best lobster rolls (fries were on the saltier side though). The $34 half octopus is more than enough for 1 person (4 tentacles). It's the one place in the city that offers $1 oysters even on the weekends and they're actually good and a decent size! You need a reservation; the place is packed to the brim and it's tight on space and noisy, and you will likely still wait 15-30 minutes for your table regardless. The staff is friendly.

Totally amazing food, fast service, staff was awesome and very attentive. Seafood was fresh and delicious! 5 stars all around, definitely recommend this location!!

Not a fan of oysters or diving but the seafood and land mammal food options here are always so good. Lobster rolls and ribs is that delicious 1-2 punch. Decent drink selection too, with a bustling vibe!

Great atmosphere and experience on a cold wintery Thursday evening. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It was a bit difficult to chat with my food mates, but that's normal for a bustling place. The lobster roll and hand cut fries were delicious. The lobster roll had nice chunks of lobster and the bread was buttery and crispy. The ribs were good - fall off the bone and relatively juicy, but a little drier than I'd like them. I'd recommend the lobster roll over the ribs.

The food was absolutely wonderful, i hail from the west coast and these mussels were probably the best ive ever had. My partner and i also had the cedar plank salmon, the salmon tartare, and the surf n turf. Everything was perfect!!! Our server Eloise was an absolute delight, she never hovered but i never once felt like we had been abandoned. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was our dessert. (Chocolate ganache and cherry cheesecake) There was nothing offensive about it, but after how amazing our dinners were they felt like a bit of a letdown. Both were a little stale and tasted mostly like theyd been left out in the fridge for too long.

Good service with great food! It gets pretty loud on saturday nights. 1$ oysters are great as starters but rather small. Fried calamari were tender but portion was also petite. Favorite was the grilles octopus! So tender and paired well with the greek salad. Sangria was also yummy! Fish and chips was okay and I would suggest to avoid plates with fries since they were a bummer. Overall, nice atmosphere, a bit more on the expensive side but since it’s seafood, that’s expected and so worth!

Food is good. Some of the waiters are nice. But the manager was rude and condescending to us in a way that I have not experienced at a good restaurant before. The way we were addressed is not the way you address customers, there seemed to some pretentiousness going on and we did not appreciate it at all. Clearly the kitchen is run well, but the front of the restaurant needs some reorganizing.

Decided to try this place out and what I'll say "disappointed" is the understatement of the century. I asked to substitute the ribs for a steak on the surf and turf dish and I was quickly refused. I even offered to pay an additional charge but got a very arrogant response. I thought maybe asking a hostess instead would help but I was refused by her before I could even explain my request! Clearly the waiter made her aware that I should be turned down very rudely if I ever ask. So I decided to just get the steak dish and added the lobster roll on the side for the low price of $18! What a joke. After getting our soups I take a bite and pull a piece of aluminum foil out of my mouth! I put it right in the waiter's hand and he became very apologetic. His idea of an apology was to make me wait 25 minutes for another soup that was lukewarm by the time it got to our table. At this point I was livid, but continued the meal. My favorite part was the bill. $200...which included the cost of my soup!! Lucille's has greatly disappointed me and I look forward to telling anyone and everyone never to come here.

We went to Lucille's market, friendly service, great cooking advice, cant wait to start the BBQ.

So just so we are clear 11 is not a dozen. With the price point each of these are costing more than what they charge me at Gibby

Tynesha Mull

Great food. Slow service on the day we went but I think they were just getting used to the re opening. Will go back for sure. Got a free side dish as an apology for the service! :-)
