I ordered a plate of charcuterie. It was 90% uneatable fat. Just gross at 37$. Ordered beef steak at 35$ and it was the worst steak ever. So hard and chewy. The service was awful. They didn’t even offer us coffee. They were in a hurry to get us out. They should change their meat supplier as we were a party of 25 where 7 sent back their steaks. The wine good…. Don’t recommend.

Food at the restaurant is definitely some of the best in the region (terroir/bistro cuisine). Happily surprised by the gin (spirit) made on-site at this winery/distillery. The outdoor wine tasting area is well designed and provides for a lot of space between groups. There’s even a little picnic area hidden at the back, next to the “ruisseau” (stream).

Wow. Went with my colleagues for our annual sugar shack. Exceeded our expectations all the way. Super recent infrastructures showing massive investments and great passion! Would give extra stars for the most balanced gastronomic sugar shack meal I've ever have, the more than decent price they charge for their wines, their super on point varietal specific custom glassware (who does that?!) and the very attentive staff including their sommelière who was very knowledgeable and generous of her time. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de manger au Bistro mais l’endroit semblait bien. Dégustation autonome dans la cour par la suite… l’endroit est bucolique :)

The place is beautiful but the service wasn’t (exception to the hostess at the entrance and our tour guide who were both phenomenal). The restaurant had a 30 minute wait. We asked the restaurant hostess for suggestions on what to do during the wait but she spoke to us as if she did not have time to help. In addition, we waited 15 minutes for the waiter to come greet us and take our order. We then waited another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The cheese board and meat board was delicious but the egg from my main dish was almost well done and did not have much taste to it. However, the wine is excellent and if that is what you come here for then I would highly recommend.

EVENT PLANNERS BEWARE! Charged for more wine than we consumed and appalling service. Very attractive venue, probably fine for tourists to taste their very mediocre wine and buy Quebec local delicacies. But a total disaster for a group lunch planned for 45 sophisticated international guests. They substituted several of the Quebec cheeses on our contract with cheaper alternatives, without informing us in advance. Inadequate quantities of charcuterie were served and when we asked for more, they replaced it with a different ham from the duck prosciutto on our contract and tried to charge an additional amount for this. Tried to increase the price for each wine, above the amounts on the contract. When I pointed this out, they were argumentative and unpleasant. They also billed me for more wine than we consumed, but luckily I had obtained the correct quantities in writing from one of the staff. Rude, unprofessional and inadequate service. Il y a un restaurant/bistro en haut, mais ils ne prennent plus de gens à partir de 16h30 (un vendredi?). On aurait absolument dû réserver... Ce qu'on a tenté de faire toute la journée, sans jamais être répondu! On se dit que c'est pas très grave, on a un pic-nic dans l'auto, on va apporter quelques petites choses à grignoter avec et entre les différents vins... Mais encore une fois, on se fait refuser ce droit dans "l'espace dégustation"; pour manger, il faut aller dans l'espace pic-nic, qui n'offre que des tables à pic-nic ou de petites chaises et tables de bois instables ???? Ma mère fêtait ses 66 ans, pas question de lui faire passer 2h de dégustations assis inconfortablement!!! Donc malheureusement, nous ne renouvellerons jamais l'expérience à cet endroit. Amazing! While I've been a couple times before for the bistro and tastings, this time we did the 'le prestige' tour. Our guide was so knowledgable, very approachable, and made the tour feel so much fun. We were able to take the time to taste and enjoy in a beautiful setting. Tasting from the barrels and seeing where the wine was bottled was also a unique experience. Then we finished at the bistro, with a great table overlooking the vineyard, while eating items that had come from their own garden and farm. You can really appreciate the thought they've taken with their winery to make themselves sustainable and minimize their environmental footprint. A perfect day.
