You have all the reviews of people like you who bought the products and services of Hot Africa (Winery) near Côte-Saint-Luc (Canada).
Currently the firm has a score of 3.9 over 5 and this score has been calculated on 127 reviews.

You know that we do not usually bother to give opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery is classified in the category of African restaurant.
This is where you should be if you need a good taste of African delicacy in this part of the world
They don't respect opening hours. I was told that that they closed when I got there and it was 21:30 but at the door it says they close at 22:00
Amazing goat and mutton. V hot hot sauce. The 20$ meal feeds two ppl so good deal. Fun take out and eat in the park and pick up a beer at the beer store nearby
I go there for their grilled chicken and rice, it is tasty! Plantain bananas are not the best in my opinion, too dry. I don't remember being delighted by the goat as well, but I should maybe give it another shot. You leave with your stomach full and satisfied.
The food is tasty but the service needs to be faster. She was also rude & seemed to not want to be there.
An okay place to eat, most items on the menu cost around 15$. You'll get to enjoy a big plate of a classic home cooked meal. I am not familiar with African cuisine, but I've enjoyed the place for a bite. The wait is around 20m for your order. The chicken is great, meat slides right off the bone while the plantain banana side is just right (not overly sweet). A satisfying simple meal.
Very poor experience. They told a lie on their website, indicating that they were open on Sundays. They were not. The workers were also rude. I'd give it my worst rating yet.
Nice place. Good Cameroonian food. Need to have a look on the customer management. More efforts have to be done.
Amazing food. Taste just like home..
ordered the goat platter with alloco and rice .Portion is huge , easily feeds two people . The goat was amazing very flavorful well seasoned and tender .. only thing is I wish they would have attieke instead of rice but all in all I would recommend this place .
The bass is amazing with the plantains and rice you can't go wrong honestly one of the best grilled fish I have had. Definitely check them out if your in the CDN area.
Good!
Home dish but the Service could be better, and the price was bit high 23$ for a dish!
Good Food, Staff needs training
The food is so tasty. I opened the plate and found myself directly in Africa, especially in my city where a Cameroun lady used to make grilled fish on charcoal. It felt like home. The place need a little bit of renovation though. There is a big potential there but the owners seems to ignore that. They should also deliver and I'm sure people would love that. I never miss going there whenever I'm in Montreal
try to server the food fast please Time is money
Really if you considered yourself African and never ate here, you should be ashamed lol ????... really good food, reminding me of back home. Then again the portions are bigger, i just reduced the rice and plantain in a more healthier and balance way and kept the rest for another meal!
Very good
One of the best place for African food. But customer service has a lot of place for improvement.
The food is nice ,but they need to take more care of the place
Good food surprisingly tasty. The environment is ... not 5 stars. I changed my chair because I was worried it would break before the end of the lunch lol. Service was ok. Takes cash & cards now.
Great food. Very tasty!
Food 100% Poisson and goat was 200% with the pepper of life
Good food. Excellent service.
The food is really good although a little expensive. The service is bad.
Nice place, very good food. Liked it

13.23 after tax and tip for a garlic jerk bbqed chicken leg, plantains, and tomato rice. great food! order ahead of time by phone and its ready in 20 mins.
Great ambiance, good food.
Good food. Nostalgic vibe. Can be loud though.
Good service good food
Like all the African restaurent food is good but service it's terrible no discipline! I guess that's the big problem for the owner get the stable customers! I order a food wait 1 hours until arrive the tavle! But remind that when eating in the qfeican restaurant you need to be patient for at least one hour! Service so bad! I recommandé dont eat there
Good food but slow cooking process..
Lovely and not expensive at all place that makes the tastiest food I had in a long time. As others said, calling beforehand is recommended if you want to eat fast.
The only reason that keep people coming is that their food is excellent. Other than that do not expect a good service. Just enjoy your food and go home ☺️
One word... Delicious!
Very good African food at Descend proce
The food is good. But you better have to order before coming. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for long.
Great food, love the fish & the chicken
Really tasty food. The service is ok. It's better to call in advance and give your order so you don't wait when you get there. I ordered chicken, rice and plantains (to go) which cost arround 10$. Great place to go for african food.
Great service
Had the ndole and 1 bottle bissap and 1 bottle ginger juice. All was very good will deffinitly have again
Food is good. African style. But the place needs to be renovated and upgraded.
Friendly
Best mouton and plantins in Montreal
Incredible food. One of the best restaurants in Montreal and one of the best food experiences I’ve had in my life.
Not like It was before...
Love the food specially goat
If I could give this place zero star I would. The food is good but their customer service is terrible. The first time I went there with a friend, and we right away noticed how cold and almost bothered the ladies who work there were. It is almost as if they don’t want to be there. And the way they spoke to customer was outrageous. Fast forward to today, I placed two orders over the phone for take out, I drove 20 mins to get there only to be told that they couldn’t fulfil my orders. I asked why wasn’t I told so over the phone? And the woman with whom I spoke over the phone said that she wasn’t aware they couldn’t be done , they offered to give one plate. All this time the person I was speaking with, did not even once apologize for their mistake. She kept asking me “ what do you want me to do? I already told you I couldn’t call you back because I wasn’t able to retrieve your number and there is nothing else I can do”. She said that she was on another call when I called, and therefore couldn’t see my number. About 5 minutes later of talking back and forth with the women I spoke with over the phone , another lady comes from kitchen, she apologizes and explains the situation. I told her that I can understand there was a problem but my issue was the fact that I wasn’t told it was impossible over the phone and most importantly how for since I had been there nobody apologized until she came from the kitchen, but rather tried to make it seem as though I should count myself luck that I was even getting the one plate. Why not check with the kichen before you take an order? And why not treat customers with manners Your customer service is why I will never come back. I honestly have never experienced such bad customer service and let alone leave a review. The food is good but it certainly doesn’t make up for the rude customer service.
Nice spot
Love and nice place to be
I got the 25$ fish. It was really salty and left a bad taste in my mouth. I've been feeling sick since. Service was okay but the place itself seemed very gloomy. All I could hear were women in the kitchen talking very loudly
Good price good food. Location poor and service late becos of freshly made food. Will recommend!worth trying. Location can be more clean and service more faster. One advice call ahead to get service faster. Excellent and delicious food though.
Excellent
Food is wonderful, very causal. Procès are fair. The place could une somme work though
(Translated) How to start? This is the first time in my life that I've written a business review. This restaurant offers the most disrespectful, rude, rude, negative service I have ever seen in my 25 years of existence. The waitresses disrespect you and make fun of you on several occasions. I swore to myself never to go there again but as Africans I told myself that we must support each other and I returned there several times but the service is so negative that I swore to never set foot there again . The service, the setting, everything is rotten. I give 1 star because this is necessary for my comment to be published otherwise it would have been -5 stars (Original) Comment commencer?
The grilled fish is excellent.
The food is delicious and so well spiced that it makes everything else seem minor, hence the 4 stars. If you are looking for a quick lunch or takeout that will leave you happy this place is a very good choice. Otherwise the set up is not great and don't expect fine dining. It should also be mentioned that if you do not speak french your service is going to be meh since most of the employees do not speak english. Good food though!
Pretty good
Nice
Very good and professional
so good. made to order so plan on waiting if you dont call ahead, also speaking french is helpful. i had to keep pointing at the menu until i finally got a nod
Slightly on the expensive sidr
Extra!!!????
Great place for authentic tasting Joloff Rice visited this place in the St Laurent branch. Had the $25 Rice and Fish was really a taste of Africa. I will put this on my top 5 places to eat in Montreal for the future
Dirty place worst customer service ever! they cancel our take out order without notice!we were supposed to wait 25 minutes for our dine in order we waited way more!(40 mins) the girl at customer service was eating her fish while talking to us. never going back again!
Good place to eat Cameroonian foods
Receptions absolutely bad, menu just not up to par
Great
Place to be!!
Very good
Terrible customer service.
Very dirty and services are terrible. We go there very often because it is the only Cameroonian restaurant in town and so we do not have a chance... it is almost impossible for them to get an order right by phone. The food is good and plates huge. Prices are good.
The food is good but the taste was a bit disappointing. But the fish was fresh
great food, nicely spiced
Great ????. Well prepared and affordable
Delicious
Excellent meal!!!
