(Translated) I wouldn't speak of a GOGO trap but rather a lack of professionalism: We had a package called "The Epicurean" Upon our arrival, a warm welcome. we are directed towards a terrace which is nothing exceptional. Moreover, in the middle of the vines, from what we have seen ..., the domain seems very small. We are invited to sit around tables on which are placed, glasses, cutlery, comment sheets with lead pencils. A gentleman of a certain age welcomes us and tells us the reason for his presence. Since her grandson's birthday was a priority, her daughter could not provide this visit. So the presentation is made by the grandfather. It seems he's the owner. The friendly gentleman, moreover, should give way to a professional. it was pretty boring. After a brief tour in a vineyard, we are presented in less than 15 minutes, the place where the wine is pressed by the feet of young women and then two machines which are used to extract the grape juice. On our return, towards the "magnificent terrace in the middle of the vines" we go to the tasting of wines made on site. Suffice to say that it was a quick tasting without too much explanation. In the presentation of the "Epicurean" package the title said: "Commented tasting of our 10 wines and introduction to tasting with a specialist". So yes Tasting at no charge and as for the initiation, go and see elsewhere if I'm there ... Then comes the board with local products. With the amount of bread there, it looked generous except for the rillettes, it was really stingy. What disappointed me was that there wasn't even anything to drink with these products. We were not even offered a glass of water. I saw people going straight to the store, looking for a bottle to eat the local produce from the board. In the end, I felt more like we were there to make us buy wine rather than to introduce us to a vineyard, its methods and finally its production. This is not the first vineyard in the province, nor in this country that I visit, but I am certainly not satisfied with this "discovery" so for now I really won't recommend it. Too much progress to be made. Thank you. PS: I would like to point out that we had booked for the first time for this package a few weeks before. This reservation had been confirmed to us. When we arrive on the said day, we are told that the visit is scheduled for the next day. We are invited to make a new reservation (which we do), promising us compensation on the next visit. the visit took place and then? NOTHING. To be able to publish this comment I had to put a star against my heart. it doesn't deserve anything either! (Original) je ne parlerais pas de piège à GOGO mais plutôt un manque de professionnalisme: Nous avions un forfait dit « L’Epicurien » A notre arrivée, bon accueil. on nous oriente vers une terrasse qui n’a rien d’exceptionnelle. De plus au milieu des vignes, pour ce qu’on en a vu..., le domaine parait très peu étendu. Nous sommes invités à nous assoir autour de tables sur lesquelles sont posés, verres, couverts, feuillets de commentaires avec crayons mine. Un monsieur, d’un certain age nous accueil et nous raconte la raison de sa présence. L’anniversaire de son petit fils étant prioritaire, sa fille ne pouvait assurer cette visite. Donc la présentation est faite par le grand-père. Il parait que c'est le proprio. Le monsieur sympathique au demeurant, devrait laisser sa place à un professionnel. c’était plutôt très ennuyeux. Après un bref petit tour dans une vigne, on nous présente en moins de 15mn, l’endroit ou le vin est pressé par les pieds de jeunes femmes puis deux machines qui servent à extraire le jus de raisin. A notre retour, vers la « magnifique terrasse au milieu des vignes » nous passons à la dégustation des vins fabriqués sur place. Autant dire que ce fut une dégustation au pas de course sans trop d’explications. Dans la présentation du forfait « l’Epicurien » l’intitulé disait : "Dégustation commentée de nos 10 vins et initiation à la dégustation avec un spécialiste". Alors oui Dégustation au pas de charge et quant à l’initiation allez voir ailleurs si j’y suis… Vient ensuite la planche avec les produits locaux. Avec la quantité de pain qu’il y avait, elle paraissait généreuse sauf les rillettes, c’était vraiment chiche. Ce qui m’a déçu c’est qu’il n’y avait même pas de quoi boire avec ces produits. On ne nous a même pas proposé un verre d’eau. J’ai vu des gens aller direct à la boutique, chercher une bouteille pour manger les produits locaux de la planche. Finalement, j’ai eu plus l’impression qu’on était là pour nous faire acheter du vin plutôt que de nous faire découvrir un vignoble, ses méthodes et enfin sa production. Ce n’est pas le premier vignoble de la province, ni de ce pays que je visite mais c’est certain que je ne suis pas satisfait de cette « découverte » alors pour l’instant je ne le recommanderai vraiment pas. Beaucoup trop de progrès à faire. Merci. PS: Je précise que nous avions réservé une première fois pour ce forfait quelques semaines avant. Cette réservation nous avait été confirmée. A notre arrivée le jour dit, on nous apprend que la visite est prévue le lendemain. On nous invite à faire une nouvelle réservation (ce que nous faisons), en nous promettant une compensation lors de la prochaine visite. la visite a eu lieue et puis? RIEN. Pour pouvoir publier ce commentaire j'ai du mettre à contre-coeur une étoile. ça ne mérite rien non plus!

The winery itself is very nice, a lot of space to explore and several picnic tables to have a quick lunch or relax. Large selection of wines and well worth the money for the tasting. We had nearly a dozen bottles to test. The woman presenting was very good and funny though I felt it was rushed (took less than an hour to taste them all) and the samples were served after the explanations so by the time we were actually tasting them, she was already explaining the next one. It was kinda hard to follow as the opposite would have been better. COVID note: The verification of the vaccination passport took a long while. We were there 15 minutes before our reservation and ended up being 45 minutes late to it because of the wait...

Il revient content du nous dire que c'est ok. Il faut comprendre que les gens paies pour venir apprendre ce que c'est que la période des vendanges. On leur explique comment fonctionne un vignoble tout le long de l'année jusqu'à sa récolte. Ensuite les gens sont envoyer dans les vignes pour y cueillir un peu de raisins. Ont s'entent que c'est une ou deux chaudières. Après on leur offre de petits bouchées avec une dégustation. Nous, ont voulait juste cueillir du raisin. C'est ce que Sylvain et ses patrons nous ont permis de faire! Nous avons ramassé huit chaudières bien pleines. Sylvain nous a offert un bon rouge ainsi que la dégustation. Très bel journée. Merci à toute l'équipe chez qui l'on retourne à chaque année pour chercher leur produits.

My friend and I went to a few wineries around the area but this one was a favourite of mine because of the staff! We never felt rushed during the wine tasting even though it was crowded. Everyone was friendly and I highly recommend trying the “Saint-Martin” that’s only available at the property. There’s also a nice terrace and it’s tucked away in beautiful scenery.

The place is quite nice and wines are good too. After the wine a tasting session you can go chill on the chairs in a wide open area which is quite pleasant. Been here two years in a row now and it seemed like the previous year experience was a more positive one. This year was a bit crowded and the line of people waiting for the next round of wine tasting session was not the most pleasant one.
