This the worst costumer service in town. I hate it. The lay i spoke on the phone clearly states that my bill was at $ 32.07 with the delivery fee bcs im not on the area. When i received my bill it was at $35.07 and there was a hand written statin it. What a scam. I will never ever order from this restaurant again. The lady i was speaking with just hung the phone on me on top that. She was trying to argue instead of directing me to their manager. What an educated waitress. Where do I begin??? Dry chicken that is completely inedible. Half cooked fries. Got the order wrong, actually got less than I paid for. This BBQ is one of the most reliable and sure things in the barbecue chicken game in Montreal anywhere on the island. The chicken is a very good quality, properly roasted and never to dry. The sauce has an interesting seasoning and is served with bread as well as french fries which are hand cut. The restaurant is open fairly late so if you're looking for a bite to eat and you missed out on other restaurants in the neighborhood, this place has got you covered.

Went here with my family to grab a quick bite. Lots of different accessible seating. Armless chairs, benches (the tables move), etc. The staff was awesome. All franglaphone, since it's in the English area. I got a chicken wrap and it was delicious and huge. The fries were super tasty too, I couldn't finish it all. My brother got a poytinr and Mac n cheese bites and he couldn't eat it all either.

As a new transplant from the States, I better understand the term lost in translation. BBQ in the States would have been smoked meats with sauce on or on the side. Here it's rotisserie with a broth gravy on the side. For what is meant by BBQ in Montreal, this was good.

The best poutine in town, try chicken poutine white meat or poutine 911 if you enjoy spicy food, its even better on delivery when it stays a little in the plate!! :) But if you really want to kill yourself, than go ahead and take the wing (8,12,16 24 and more), they go well with 2 hot sauces and a six pack ice cold beer. They have a special on delivery 50 wings + 2 fries for 50$ + taxes!!! Not bad, not bad at all.

A little pricey but man is it worth it. My favourite item on the menu is the chicken poutine which is heaven (hell for my arteries). Generous with the chicken sauce and cheese, but you need to specify white meat (extra charge) unless you're happy with dark. Chicken fingers are great too, but honestly for $15 you can get double the portion at Loblaws and they are almost as tasty. I usually do takeout, the staff are super efficient and you will never wait long for your food unless it's a fried item. Dining room a bit dated, feels like eating at grandma's house.

If I could put none I would. Worst customer service I have ever encountered! Ordered 20 mild chicken wings. I get spicy sauce on the side (1st mistake) then I decide to just eat the wings and it's so spicy that it burns my mouth for 5 min. The girl on the phone said "well what do you want me to do? " perhaps send me something else it is a 40$ order after all. Or at least have the decency to advise people that the wing it self is spicy? Why have a spicy wing in a mild sauce = insn't that still spicy ? The manager who does not care about his customers said it's like that in many restaurant ... really like which one sir. Than I asked why is it that if they dont send 2 plastic forks with the 2 salad? He said u didnt ask! So when I go to mc donald and order a poutine do they ask me for a fork? When I go to Tim Horton and order my oatmeal do they ask me if I want a spoon? Then he had the nerve to ask me if I was from out of town? This man need a reality check.

I have heard about this place many times on the radio but since it's all the way in the West Island, I never really got the opportunity to try it. Until last week, where I was meeting friends in this area, we decided to all come here for supper. The inside looks like a diner and is very clean. The waitress sat us down and gave us the menu. We ordered the sampler platter which included cheese sticks, zucchini wedges, jalapeño poppers and a marinara sauce. I personally loved the zucchini wedges but I must say that the rest of the group loved the poppers. It tasted fresh and although they were fried it wasn't oily at all. We then ordered a large Caesar salad and what really surprised be was that they used the heart of romaine lettuce, I hate when my Caesar salad has those thick dark green romaine leaves. They actually used the heart of romaine which tells me they are not stingy and care about the quality of their food. Now let's get to the main event, the chicken. All I have to say is WOW, honestly it makes a huge difference when your chicken is done over charcoal, OMG it had an amazing smell and taste to it, so juicy and tender, I had the quarter leg, while others had half chicken and chicken sandwich. You can choose your side from baked potato, mashed potato, fries or rice. They also bring you coleslaw and gravy sauce. Everybody loved their plates and we were all stuffed but our waitress suggested Nutella cheesecake and how can you turn down that. That cheesecake was out of this world. Honestly I was so impressed by the food and the friendly staff much better than St-Hubert, Scores and Le Coq. I will definitely be coming here more often. From all the BBQ chicken I have had this was the best, a big 5 stars in my book.

Recently renovated! Because a neighbor had the bad taste of burning down. How rude. They saved the ovens though, so you can still enjoy their classic roasted chicken taste in a newly renovated (and much better layed out) dining room. The food's alright, I like the new Kaiser myself. Get the soup if you can, that's real good and big. Service is competent and friendly. Best thing about the place: it's cheap as heck. Some of the lowest priced chicken around!

My favorite rosted bbq chicken in CSL. I grew up with this food and must i say its consistant every time. Super happy about the long over due renovations. Its looks 100% better then my grandmas basement. The brown sauce is so good you can drink like soup. Chicken was not dry and fries just stuffs you. Two thumbs up as always definitevely way better then commercial brands a.k.s st hubert. Only negative (see pictures)was one bun was toasted and the other was not.. random.

usualy i like the food but last time i had bad service on phone call for delivery i ask for the sandwich with spicy chicken i usualy order but coudnt see it on menu on line and forgot the name of that sandwich the receptionist was rude and impolite

Satisfying but some disappointing aspects. We ordered 2 fried chicken burgers, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed, and 1 friend chicken wrap, which was also good. The fries were also enjoyable, however, the baked potato was a bland and overall sad. Seemed like they just put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Other than that, would recommend and plan on going back to try the quarter chicken leg.

This business has been in existence for a long time and the food is usually good but on Feb 16th 2020 I passed in to order 3 meals, to my dismay I watched a tall gentleman pick up all those pieces of chicken with his bare hands( no gloves worn). This is so unsanitary. No wonder why people get sick. When he put food in containers he was pressing down on fries pushing chicken over with his hands and contantly wiping his hands on a dirty cloth he was wiping the counter with etc. Has the sanitary laws changed?. Please update your workers on being sanitary please.

I have ordered from Cote St Luc Bbq a number of times. The person answering the phone is always polite and just willing to answer questions or give suggestions. The food always arrives hot. They are not skimpy with the fries. The delivery man is always polite. And to add to all of this the food is always always delicious.

A heartfelt, long-time favorite. I doubt that the city will ever agree between Cote St Luc BBQ and Chalet BBQ, it's as personal as where you get your bagels. Both are institutions worth loving - but Côte St Luc BBQ chicken is reliably tender and fresh, and their sauce has a cinnamon overtone that edges out Chalet's slightly saltier recipe.

Chicken tasted better than ever and those fresh cut fries are to die for. There are so few places making real fries anymore - they're the ones to use in poutine. Of course after the fire the interior is fully refreshed. I think they can handle more people now. The only thing I don't understand is why take out costs more than the same item in the restaurant. Poutine is $7.60 in, $8.50 to go.

(Translated) I'll be honest, the chicken is drier than the sahara, the brown sauce has all of a brown sauce except the flavor, the chicken is put in plastic bag a little more and it is brand provigo (the bag) on it and it served to pick up litter at least it would explain the taste of the chicken. The chips are hard to miss but they are successful, they are badly cooked or completely soaked with oil. I have to throw half of the food with compost anyway they feel the same. Thanks for the Pepsi at least he was not open before arriving. Les frites c'est difficile de les manquer mais ils ont réussi, elle sont sois mal cuite ou complètement imbibée d'huile. The staff at the take out counter are super nice. I used to take food to go weekly and they never messed up an order. The cooks are quick and efficient so you're not left waiting for very long. I've ordered multiple dishes off the menu and I've never been disappointed. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really impressed with the customer service. My girlfriend ordered a half chicken for take out and discovered that she only got a quarter chicken upon returning home. They gave us a credit for a free half chicken and the guy who served us was super apologetic and offered free drinks as well when we came back days later. He clearly really cared and it seemed as though it was important to him that we felt satisfied :)
