Here we offer you all the feddbacks of people who bought the products and services of Truro Vineyards (Winery) near to the area of Cornwall (Canada).
At this moment the business has a score of 4.4 over 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is really high, and it's based on a high number of opinions, so we may say that the valuation is very credible. If people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Winery is classified in the category of Vineyard.
Very pretty place & enjoyed the wine tasting. Wish they gave more information about the wine but the food truck on site was convenient.
Not like it used to be. You can no longer just walk in and order from the outside bar and sit outside without a reservation or bring your own snacks. Now you get a waitress and have to tip her and there is a time limit. The wine tasting was a disappointment too because it no longer offers red & white. The day we went it was white and I don't drink white wine. No wine crackers or water to cleanse your palate between wines, nor a bucket to dump the wine you tasted. The food truck was out of everything. It wasn't a relaxing pleasant experience it was in the past. Our waitress was rude.
I wish I had taken more photos of this lovely vineyard during my visit a few weeks ago for a afternoon visit. Turo was so accommodating especially with the state covid guidelines. Staff were going above and beyond. Wine and cocktails were delicious and the on location food truck was delicious. I hope to return again before summer end!
Peaceful place to visit. Both the food and drinks were A+. I had the Twenty Boat Island spice which was amazing. We had the salad and the Braised Pork tacos. Both awesome. The setting with grass and tanles spread out was perfect. The service was attentive but relaxed. Highly recommend.
We did the private tasting for my birthday! It was spectacular and very worth the price! Loved this place.
Love the wines and if course the light house bottles! A great way to spend an afternoon doing a tasting. Wonderful gift shop, good selection of local wines an very friendly staff. Beautiful grounds!
One of the best wine tasting experiences I've had!
Fun visit. Great cocktails and lovely atmosphere. They were all set up to handle visitors on a cold, dreary day! Great finds in the gift shop.
They have a nice wine tasting area and you can also go on a tour. There's a gift shop, an open area with tents where can sit, a bar as well as food to buy their very nice atmosphere very large Vineyard had a great time and was better able to pick out what kind of wine I'd bring to a party if invited.
Very nice stop on the drive to the tip of Cape Cod. Well laid out areas for tastings and a quality food truck menu available. Nice store and reasonable prices on their wines.
Very impressed with our visit. Nice grounds, great food trucks and the wines were pleasant. Family friendly, great place to kill a few hours over conversation and grapes.
Enjoyed the wine and vineyard tour. The tour guide was outstanding. Great family atmosphere and food is available from food trucks. We will be back ????????????????
Great atmosphere with cocktails, wines, and a food truck. They do take reservations if you're interested and have a cash bar with open seating in the back if there's a wait. They also have a cute giftshop!
Great place to relax and enjoy some yummy wine or spirits. Lots of options. If you’re going to drink you have to purchase food, the tacos were ok, the sauv blanc was really nice. Great service with wonderful people!
Wine is decent, the grounds are beautiful! Wonderful to enjoy the evening, only down side is cash only! ATM on site charges you $3 per transaction so be prepared! Staff seems to think it is a great option.
Staff was friendly and polite. Nice day!
The staff is super friendly and works well under pressure. The wait times move quickly for the most part if you do not make a reservation in advance (which is on you so don't get frustrated with staff!) Their cocktails with their own signature spirits do not disappoint! Food truck is pricey but always satisfying and the grounds are gorgeous. As for the wine, the reds are do not have the robust body you expect from the same varietal grown in California, but the sandy soils, and temperate ocean climate lend a signature tart and fruit forward balance to the reds, similar but with a little less sun than the New York finger lake region gets. This vineyard also nails sweet white wines if you're into that. The natural sugars are balanced by sun soaked fruit flavors. This winery is dog and family friendly so don't go all Karen on the staff when your wine is brought to you in disposable cups if you're seated on the lawn. Be thankful that the your kiddos and puppers won't have glass in their feet! The spirit tasting is a unique experience if you like hard liquor without mixers and the wine tasting is limited to 4 or 5 wines but gives a good picture of what the vineyard offers. The gift shop always features local artists and supports small businesses across the Cape. We always find something cute and new there. Overall a must do experience in Truro and one we come back to time and time again.
The parking is easy, the grounds are quite lovely. The staff was not at all friendly. I've posted a picture of a sign on their door today... I think staff and management could use a course or education on customer service. The sign could simple say "Due to a private event, we will be closing promptly at 5pm. Thank you for your cooperation and sorry for any inconvenience." The wines were decent. But the small 1 ounce pours are not quite enough to tell if they appeal to your pallet. I'd suggest some changes to how the tasting work or are organized. Making them more of a personal experience.
A nice space for some nice wine and Friendly service .
Relaxing place to hang out before sunset. Cocktails aren't great though.
Wines are decent and the tours are good. The rum though is hilariously overpriced. Dogfish Head Rum is simply better and half the price. Basically stick to the wines here. Others do spirits better and cheaper.
Had a great time at Truro Vineyards...got the wine tasting: $15 for 5 small wines and a wine glass to keep. Oaked Chardonnay was my favorite... the food from the food truck on site was delicious as were the hummus and pita chips. Nice setting... tables social distanced... line to get in the little store.
Had a lovely wine tasting here. Everything is very spaced out, and although crowded, the wait was short. All the tables were being sprayed down in between groups. We ordered food from the truck and only after realized there was hummus at the bottom of the wine list for much cheaper (you have to order food with alcohol in MA). We also picked up some rum in the shop that we’re excited to try. Check it out if you’re in the area!
Very cute little winery. Great ambiance. The lawn area has tables service with tables that seat 4-6 per table, or two person side by side table. The lawn and gift shop are handicap accessible. Food trucks for food. Felt like an LGBT welcoming place.
Clean bathroom, nice crowd, friendly folks in the store. Great stop!
Wine and specialty drinks were decent. The food truck on premises was good. Prices were comparable to other small wineries that we have visited.
The Vineyard is gorgeous, and they have great COVID safety processes in place. That said, the wine was just okay and the service was the same. Beautiful property and views though!
Great selection of wines and foods. Seamless integration of ordering food and wine.
Great stop on the Cape! Dog friendly, friendly staff, delicious wine.
Loved this winery while in the cape! It’s super cute and just a nice place to relax. The cranberry slushy was awesome! And we did the last wine tasting of the evening. I liked that we got to sit back and enjoy the wine. I bought my husband the dry line gin! He loves it! I bought myself two bottles of Riesling. If we ever come back to the cape, we WILL be stopping by here again.
The spirit tasting and tour of the distillery is a good deal for $10. The grounds are beautiful many places to hang out. There is also a food truck on site.
we had an incredible experience! a must-do while on the cape.
Good place to spend some time. Definitely add it to your trip to the cape
Many different wines. Love the lighthouse line of wines, cranberry is my favorite. Nice Vinyard and in great location.
Good wine and cocktails. Large outdoor seating area. Decent food options.
A lovely winery/vineyard whose store seems to carry more and more each year. They now not only carry the Truro white and red wines but their own hard liquors, jams and jellies as well as kitchen supplies, tees and other clothing. The wine tasting section off of the shop is lovely, next to the vineyard and there are tables out front where you can sit and enjoy your wine.
Great value for the tasting at South Hallow Spirits. Ten bucks gets you a taste of all 4, and a snifter glass. Highly recommend the distillery tour beforehand, highly informative and cheerful guide.
Came down for a Sunday afternoon with some friends and the place looks great. As for the drinks, it’s a fixed menu all dry wines no sangria and the cocktails are very watered down. Would not go back at all????????
Absolutely love it there. So beautiful. Love their white diamond wine in blue lighthouse bottle.
Look like a great experience. It we did’t wait the 90 minutes for a seat. They had a food truck and nice outdoor seating. We hit the gift shop for some wine and rum to try at home
Such a beautiful place!
Quaint place with a friendly staff. The vineyard is a showcase of a small wine making operation. The wine tasting is a good choice to sample many of the selections. Usually they have 6-8 regular signature wines and 2 or so seasonal specials. Wine by the glass is expensive but the surroundings make for a nice picnic location
Not open today even though web site shows open. To bad, looks like an interesting place.
Seating arrangement is amazing. I love the chairs under the tree and all parties are separated with a good distance. Very enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend the Diamond White. So sweet and tasty
Was a little hesitant to visit today because Covid cases in Provincetown have increased and Truro being so close made me uneasy. I am so happy we visited though, the vineyard was very Covid friendly. I know Covid protocols can be controversial for some, but I really appreciated it. They asked for a phone number for contact tracing and Seats were all outside and spread out, they did not require masks, but suggested them while not at tables. The store was limited to only 12 inside at a time, so there was a line to get in, but I appreciated not feeling crowded inside. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful telling us about the wines. Ordering food through the food truck was with a QR code, so no waiting in line and they delivered to your table. We arrived about 40 min after they opened with no wait and when we left about an hour later there was an hour wait. So I would suggest arriving early or making a reservation.
Awesome little vineyard with great spirits as well. Love the atmosphere.
Relaxing setting to grab a drink, sit on a Adirondack chair under large trees that create much needed shade in the summer, wines tasting and food trucks. Not a tough sell to stop and check this place out.
Very neat experience. Wine tasting was done very well. Spirit tasting was great! Cool to see a family owned operation.
Great place to sit and relax with a high open yard and plenty of seating. Parking lot is small and rather hard to find a spot with limited street parking options however the wine is great. I felt the pricing was a little high and cash only is a real bummer considering I would have gotten more wine but didn't have alot of cash. Just be prepared is the only warning. Would suggest.
It overall was a nice experience. We didn't have a reservation so had to wait about half an hour for a table. As we were seated we were told we had a ninety minute limit at the table (wasn't a problem for us just nice to know when you are waiting). The staff were friendly. Ordering from the food truck was easy, did it right on my cell phone. Gift shop is lovely and surprisingly very affordable. As a couple we got a wine flight to share and there was enough for each to have a sip with a nice Truro Vineyards wine glass to keep. Loved the gardens and the ambiance! Great place to bring friends or a date.
Loved the Cab Franc! Also we were in town for the Grape Stomp event which was amazing!
You come here for the whole experience. The wine is a mix and is Ok, but the small vineyard, food trucks, outdoor seating and a gift shop make for a nice outing with friend and family. Is certainly worth going to, would be a nice to combine with a day trip with Ptown or Wellfleet.
Arrived at 12 on Friday the 17th of Sept 2021 and was rudely told by hostess we could not sit in the lovely front area because we did not make reservations (first time) did not know necessary? She pointed to go in back (did not guide us) went to back over grown grass chairs tipped over then moved to pavillion again told could sit in few undesirable chairs (even though) plenty of nice seats available. Then bar tenders very unhelpful with selection. RUDE to be exact! Ok we left and went to another venue for a great afternoon. My message Truro our $30 for 2 glasses of wine is just as valuable as customers with reservations. Lost a good sale rude venue! Lots of vineyards on the horizon improve your customer service so your grapes dont rot on the vine.
Very relaxing place to enjoy some wine and a quick bite. Plenty of tables situated around the property. I will definitely return
I only tried the food at the food truck but it was tasty enough for me. The shop and surrounding were beutiful and well kept.
Friendly people and great wines new distillery with great spirits will come back
They have fully adapted for Covid-19 while still getting to enjoy a lovely vineyard experience. Lots of tables spread out, all tables have umbrellas. There are cute little 2 person seating. The wine is lovely. The gin is great. Flights of either are available. There is a 90min table time limit just because of the limited seating, which is plenty of time to finish a flight (or 2) and have an awkward Covid date
Awesome place...great wines, and recently, spirits - tasty spiced rum and gin - all distilled and bottled on premises. There is a food truck on premises, and tastings and tours available. A great place to spend a few hours - or a day!
The staff is extremely snobby, you feel like a bother just being there. Also the prices are outrageous! We are from the finger lakes region of NY and well versed in the vineyard industry and experience and this place just doesn't cut it.
awesome experience! Beautiful rooftop, Katie was amazing, wine is delicious, vineyard is beautiful! This is a must try!!
Nice grounds good wine and drinks friendly staff. It was a good stop while out on the cape. Tey their wines, it was good.
Fun place! $10 tasting every half hour and free tours of the grounds
Checked out Truro while enjoying a Minimoon on the cape. Glad we did a reservation online ahead of time as the place is very popular. The tables have 90min limits which is fine except it took almost 20min for someone to take our drink order (we arrived at opening and didn’t pick up till a half hour in). The flight for both spirits and wine were great. We also got a mixed drink and the cauliflower appetizer from the food truck.
Truro Vineyards is the bee’s knees! The tastings are delicious and informative. The property is so relaxing and pleasant. I’m so lucky that a few of my local stores sell their wine because it is such a treat! I first learned about them at Boston Market. I tried their wine there and then booked a trip to the Cape to visit. So worth it! I even told my dad to visit and he loved it too! :) He said it’s dog friendly also.
The winery is in a good location, friendly staff. Another positive are their creative wine bottles shaped as lighthouses. However, the wine was simply not that great.
A nice place to sit out on the lawn, drinks some wine, eat off the food truck and enjoy a weekend afternoon.
Usually do the wine tasting at Truro Vineyards. Wines are quite good and staff is knowledgeable. Today we did the Spirits tasting. I would guess that since we came away with TWO bottles, one of their gin and one of their rum, that we were quite satisfied with the outing.
It was great. The employees were friendly and helpful. They knew all the products and what they were used for.
Staff are awesome. Place is very pet friendly. I just wished they put a little bit more wine in the wine flight. It a as not even half of the normal pour. Lobster roll and brisket tacos by the foodtruck Crushpad were delish.
Went for the Customized Group Tasting - the food, drink, and service was all great! The vineyard is stunning and the gift shop is fairly priced with a nice selection. The tasting is 5 spirits/wine samples each and you get a discount in the shop afterwards. They also have an onsite florist that put together a beautiful bouquet for my wife's birthday. Definitely coming back!
Good wine, super cute atmosphere, pleasant gift shop.
The service here was amazing! We brought our dog and they couldn’t have been more hospitable and loving towards her. The drinks were also out of this world. The Oaked Chardonnay and the Barbera were our favorites. Amazing wines. Can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful service from Daniel and delish food. There were 6 adults and 2 kids under age 3. All very accommodating and enjoyable
We have been traveling to the Cape from the Finger Lakes region of New York State for over a decade, and have always enjoyed our visits to Truro Vineyards. Historically their tastings were enjoyable and informative. Seating was in a lovely pavilion, and the tasting included a choice of white wines and red wines, in a glass that you kept. The servers would describe each choice before pouring and would answer questions so one could take notes about each wine. Understandably, COVID required changes to this business model. On our recent visit to the Winery, we were sadly disappointed. My husband and I made reservations online, which was an easy process, and were seated promptly when we arrived, at a socially distanced shaded double seat with a small table between. Our server then presented us with the tasting list for the day; one white, one rose, and three reds. There was no description of any of these wines, just the list. Not being red wine drinkers we inquired about flexibility in the choices and were told that the owners made the change to this business model during COVID, and liking it decided to keep it when restrictions were eased, because they could offer what they “had the most of.” This, our server informed us, was the Cape Cod experience and we could basically take it or leave it. Not wanting to waste the trip, we looked to purchase individual servings and settled on the Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. These two wines, at $15 each were served in plastic cups from cans. Yes, cans. A glass would cost an additional $6. The Sauvignon Blanc was tolerable, the Rose was flabby. Our server offered no description of either wine, and very little cordial interaction. If this is the NEW cape Cod experience, we are not fans.
Very well organized group. They have Covid procedures in place. Beautiful grounds with big old 100+ year old trees. Nice wines.
Enjoyed another beautiful afternoon at Truro Vineyards. Upon arrival, the man in a golf cart and directing people for parking spots, noticed I had a 'boot' on my foot from recent surgery. He quickly offered me a ride up to the reservation table. The hostess explained there would be a wait. That was not a problem for us. However, when she noticed my foot, she immediately made accommodations and graciously escorted me to our table. They took great care of us. I did notice, they were taking great care with all the patrons! As always, this is the attention and welcome we've come to enjoy at Truro Vineyards. Of course the wine and food was wonderful as well. Thank You!
My wife and I stopped here for the food truck fare and a flight of wine/spirits. The staff were beyond helpful. We left with two bottles of their Cranberry Wine. Don't miss this Vineyard. You won't be disappointed!
Great place with knowledgeable staff. Will definitely revisit!
Took my wife here for a last minute date. We sampled the wine and rum. The rum needs some work. It wasn't for us. The wine was great we bought several bottles. The staff was awesome and very pleasant.
The quality of their wine aren’t there yet, the tour was good. They are dog friendly
Absolutely love this place! The wine and service is amazing! We have been going for years. The frozen sangria today hit the spot!
Looks very beautiful, wish we could've sampled however we were told you needed reservations for wine tastings. In my opinion this appears to be more of a tourist trap than a winery.
Worst experience on the Cape hands down. Avoid this place at all costs. Arrived at 4pm June 7th, was greeted in parking lot by hostess (very nice), then met our "server" Peyton. Totally unprofessional, tries to come off snobby but reads more uncultured. Order four tastings and a pineapple juice (one spirit, three wine). Wait was not long, but the spirit tasting comes out with a piece of floating debris in the "complementary" glass and we never get the pineapple juice. Tried flagging Peyton down because she had not come back to the table (she was too busy flirting with the bartender and other server) catch her as she goes by.....says she's busy and will come back after she takes an order. We watch her take the order and run right back to the bar and there she stays flirting with the bartender and server again. Finally had enough of Peyton the "server" and go up to the hostess and ask her to remedy the service since Peyton does not seem to want to deal with it. Ask her to not have Peyton to return to our table and that we would prefer another server. She runs up and sends Peyton back with the long forgotten pineapple juice and some poor excuse as to why we were ignored. Totally unprofessional. Finally get a new gin, and we finally begin our tasting. All the wines and spirits are lackluster at best. MD 20/20, and Sailor John actually would top most of them....save your money and goto the local liquor store. You won't get a tasting. You get four tiny shots of your selected drink....and a paper with their name. No explanation of what you are drinking, anything to cleanse your palate, or any service. Do not recommend this place at all.
This place is a MUST if you near Truro! On a beautiful day, you could easily spend 4 or 5 hours sipping their wines, enjoying their food, and taking in the exceptional grounds.
An amazing fall day to sip wine and people watch!
The diamond white wine is really good. Also found the rose (to my surprise - I don't usually like red wines) rather good. Will have to stop in on a warmer day next time.
Beautiful relaxing scenery, with both covered and uncovered outdoor seating and fire pits! We enjoyed both the wine tasting and the spirits tasting. Each includes a souvenir glass. In the summertime they have a food truck as well. Had such a great time and would definitely come back again!!
Our “lighthouse” cranberry wine was DELICIOUS! The tartness was excellently paired with the grape wine. See you I June ????
I am truRO disappointed in the way they do wine tastings. I understand Covid was challenging for businesses, however things are for the most part back to normal now. Very minimal human interaction during wine tasting, plastic shot glasses and overpriced. Used to religiously come here every time I came to the Cape, however will unfortunately not be coming back.
Enjoyed the wine but plastic cups for $10 bucks??? No thanks. So much for sustainability on the cape. Truro vineyard get with it.
