Smokey and Steve took us on a tour and a wine tasting. Very knowledgeable and down to earth gentlemen. The wine is made with Hybrid Grapes and absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by even if it is a bit out of your way.

What a beautiful vineyard! We were giving a tour to look at the grapes prior to doing the tasting which was very informative. Smokie, the owner, was incredible at describing each of his (many) wine, including stories for most of them. Great setup outside to enjoy a glass, especially during covid times. They were overwhelmingly busy when we visited but we were served some wine while waiting and the staff was very attentive. We are hoping to return every summer to stock up!

Can’t recommend wine lovers more of this place. We visited in Winter but the service was superb, and the owner, Smokie, is simply the incarnation of ‘amazing’ and being a vet, adds more to his amazingness. Despite the pandemic measures, but my family had a great time especially our 19 months old son. Can’t wait to visit again this Summer.

My wife and I had a great tasting experience here! Tasting provided a very generous number of samples of delicious wines and staff were super friendly and welcoming despite how busy they were. Property is picturesque providing wonderful Fall views during tasting. Wines are also reasonable priced. All in all a fantastic way to spend an afternoon well worth the quick drive from Ottawa!

Summer Breeze

Stroll through this peaceful place. Take your time to enjoy the sweet sounds of nature amongst the vine rows. We did and will go back. This couple graciously welcomed us even though we appeared on a Thursday. After our walk they opened the big tent for us and we sampled a cheese plate, including their own wine/cheese sample. We weren't rushed at all, and were so very grateful to sit and enjoy the cool breeze in the heat. Their honey is wonderful. We bought a jar and the flavour is like no other. We will definitely go back to sample their sweet wines. This couple fully supports other local businesses, and will be opening a small market there on Saturdays.

Peaceful and quite atmosphere across wine yards with a glass of wine and a company of beloved ones - couldn't dream of something better. Would like to say that the owner is a very friendly and open person. His interesting stories about each of his bottle kept us there for a whole hour and it could been continued for more. Highly recommend.

My favourite place to buy wine. Paul and his family are so welcoming and down to earth. They will tell you anything you want to know about their wines and they are absolutely delicious! I also love how they collaborate with other local businesses to support each other! I'm a regular here and will continue to frequent Smokie Ridge

Large vineyard and very friendly owners, but there was not much to do for us when we travelled in from Ottawa. The owners were kind and did some sampling with us but overall was an average experience. It is end of the season, and when there patio is open and set up it would probably be nicer, but the owner had mentioned to come down when we called as there was "seating inside", but there wasn't. Rating 4 stars because the owner spent time sampling wines with us and telling us the backstory, and that was very much appreciated. the venue was probably a 3.

great experience at smokie ridge! we weren’t sure what to expect but glad we made the trip up from ottawa! somewhat tentative when you first pull up but keep driving through their driveway and it opens up to a beautiful spacious outdoor space…. ???????? we enjoyed their generous 6$ flights, homemade garlic & herbs butter and their decadent wine infused cheeses!! we will be going back and are looking forward to the brewery being open for business! thanks for the hospitality!!

This was the second time I had an event at the vineyard and it was phenomenal again. The first was for a friend's birthday party in the summer where we got to enjoy the outdoor experience of the vineyard. Smokie and his family set us up for a wine tasting and delicious lunch. The setting was absolutely beautiful! Because of the great first experience, I organized my work Christmas party at the vineyard. Given the cooler weather, Smokie set us up inside and the experience was just as lovely as the first. Beautiful table settings, extremely engaging guided wine tasting and interesting tour of the vineyard. I highly recommend visiting the vineyard. It has so much to offer and the owners are so inviting and willing to customize the experience. This is a rare gem in the Ottawa area!

Such a lovely place and a great experience!! Nice vineyard with all these different kind of grapes. The owner, Smokey, was super friendly and KNOWS what he's talking about! We did a tasting as a group and felt very safe with all their covid mesures in place. We learned a lot, from the process of making wine to how spices and different flavors interact with the wine itself. We got ourselves a few bottles and we will definitely be going back! Oh and if you're afraid of bees, they have a guy.. ????????

The owners are friendly and do a fantastic job with their wine tasting and food pairing. Their soldiers pride red is a full bodied, delicious wine and their two shades of grey is perfect on a hot day. Highly recommend this place.
