Ordered Take-out for entire team: bagged up but I insisted on checking - discovered missing parts of 2 meals & previously requested utensils. Got back to work and found missing both caesar salad dressings, any spoons for soup, etc... Returned to restaurant and manager too busy. She asked that I get what I needed and she would call me later; which of course she never did (big surprise). Just bad experience. We spent 2 weeks at Cornwall site - team never ordered from them again.

Been to Kelsey’s before but was visiting Cornwall and was disappointed in our meal. Food arrived not so hot. Wouldn’t doubt was sitting in back waiting to be brought out. Sever wasn’t too friendly either. My burger was dry and my girlfriends sandwich was mostly bread with not much filling. Definitely wouldn’t go back to this location again.

This is an ok Kelseys. I came on a Friday night and it was semi busy. We sat in the bar and some of the booths in the bar were reserved which was odd. We ordered some nachos to start and then some entrees. Our nachos came out quick and were pretty good, but the entrees took like 30 minutes and were sub par. Our server was ok, not super friendly or anything. Just ok. One thing that kind of sucked was anytime someone opened the front door we got such a cold chill and it seemed to stick. Overall 3/5. As I said before, it’s an ok Kelseys.

Very friendly server, she was great. We were seated in a booth right near the kitchen entrance. The guys in the kitchen were so loud it sounded like they were screaming at each other. Horrible. When I asked the waitress if we could move due to the noise she said yes, sorry but our guy is loud. I asked isn't there a Manager she said yes but the guy isn't yelling he's just naturally loud. That is unacceptable, the guy in the kitchen is ruining the customers experience, tell him to simply shut up! As for the food. The tomato sauce is not a sauce, it is crushed tomatoes only, no seasoning. Veggies were so overcooked they fell apart when I was trying to scoop them up. Chicken tasted good, but very small serving. Never again.

I went September 29th at 5 PM (reservation) with a group of 5. I had the Amazeball burger with onion rings and my partner had another burger (forget name sorry) with poutine. I was VERY disappointed. The burger mac and cheese patty was super small, in fact even meat patties....it was missing the bacon I asked for. My partners gravy didnt even melt the cheese somewhat...all our food was cold. We didnt bother mentioning it as my friends little infant got suddenly sick throwing up and we rushed to eat. It wasn't worth the amount we paid at all. I was disappointed as we don't go out much as a group and this was my suggestion due to reviews. I won't return. Note- Amazeballs (Mac'cheese balls) unlike my burger are amazing. That was the best thing the entire table had!! Chessy gooey...so good Plus side - quiet , very clean.... Waitress was friendly but delayed in asking if we needed anything or refills until close to leaving/finished plate.

When I went into the restaurant there were about 10 people seated. The server was kind and quick. But the food wasn't! Over 30 minutes waiting on meatloaf as others seated after me received their food. The chili was cold and the bread was stale. Should have eaten at Tim Hortons.

What is there to say really, food was terrible, service was good, but did I mention, the food was terrible! Steaks so tough you couldn't chew through them. Fries were cold and soggy, onion rings were over fryed and tooth breakingly crunchy. At $50+ for two people, go get a couple grocery store steaks and a bottle of wine and eat at home. You would be doing yourself a disservice by eating here. Sorry Kelsey's :( PS. The second "Star" was because the manager did give us 25% off due to our poor experience.

Kelsey's service was very nice and polite. Very accommodating of me and my service dog, did not even acknowledge him, made me really feel normal for once eating out. Food was yummy and the waitress was awesome and friendly too! I look forward to my next time there! Great vegetarian options too!

Food was barely edible. No real love from whoever is in the kitchen. And I eat at Kelsey's in different cities a fair bit. Maybe the franchisee just doesn't care. I gave an extra star because the servers and runners were good. Person at the door almost sent us away because they would not seat us ( a 4) at either of 2 available 6-tops.

We ordered Full Rack of Ribs for Curb Side pickup, they were so dry, they felt like Cardboard, we didn't have any utensils, napkins, or Ketchup, Salt and pepper, even though we told them we are bringing it back to the hotel.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! But the food was very bland. I ordered quesadillas. There were supposedly jalapenos in it, but the quesadillas had absolutely no spicy heat to them whatsoever. I doubt a jalapeno even came near to them. And the salsa sauce was boringly bland.. Who'd have thought "Mexican" food could be so boring!

I want to start off by thanking Shelley for fantastic service. The dinner and a show was great, you are not a bad dancer haha. Hope you liked the tip ;). Now for the reason for the missing stars. The food quality was mediocre at best. Food was not that hot and was pretty flavorless. We stop in here whenever we pass through town. My wife had a virgin daiquiri and the Messy fish burgers which was so greasy she could only stomach eating half her meal. I had a beer that was flat and stale and the BBQ chicken club that was so drenched in mayonnaise, that is all I could taste. We were visiting from just outside of Montreal and we both suffered the whole drive home with really bad stomach cramps and eventually had to pull over a few times each for "a rest stop". The service is wonderful but the kitchen is certainly not what it used to be.

Well to say I was disappointed in the chicken fingers would be an understatement. I mean honestly? What are these supposed to be? ... Oh and all the pop wasn't carbonated and the server seemed surprised by this. No bubbles means not carbonated. And just adding soda water to non carbonated beverage didn't fix that issue.

Recently wanted a sit down meal at an upscale restaurant while in Cornwall and sadly chose Kelsey's. The steak dinner my wife and I each ordered did not offer a baked potato and the medium rare steak was definitely not grade A, as advertised but rather extremely undercooked and grizzly to the point most was inedible. The salad was not fresh, veggies mediocre and service rather absent, likely due to covid and not wanting to interact too much with customers. I explained all the above to the waitress and asked she mention our substandard meal 1st to the cook and our overall dissatisfaction to management, as well the need to steam clean musty and odorous carpet flooring. I accepted the bill without any discount and gave a tip, so as not to sound like a complainer. I assure this is legit, honest and we will never eat at a Kelsey's restaurant in the future...pls clean up your act or you will and should go out of business.

Arrived at about 3:15 today to an empty front of house. Went to the bathroom and seated myself before anyone arrived at the bar area to greet me. Once greeted, it was with a smile and with a menu in hand. I ordered a beer and asked about wifi access to which I was told, "I'm not sure if it's working" (it was). The bartender (young woman with black shirt and jeans, no name was offered) took my food order and promptly returned with my Buffalo chicken potato skins (which were great!). I had to ask for a side plate and water which, in my long experience in restaurants should come automatically... Up until this a decent experience; until there was more down time. What I assume to be the manager and a Co-op student are sitting at the table infront of me, when a server proceeds to count her days earnings at a table in the dining room. Then, the two ladies are eating when my server/bar tender approaches them and starts whispering about an interaction that was just had with the only other table on the other side of the bar. Now it's starting to get uncomfortable. She then came to me to ask how things are, I respond by saying everything is good, I'm ok for now. A minute later, I'm presented with a bill... Wait a minute, I didn't say I was done; simply that I was ok for the moment, I was not done and definitely did not communicate that I was. I write this experience because the people I interacted with today would likely have scoffed at my honesty if I told them why the tip was small. My hope is that someone at Kelsey's cares enough about the brand that I know to offer great experiences, that they will do something about it. And please save the co-op student from those people, there's still hope for her!

Extremely competent management. Sub par kitchen. Family stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Kids meal ordered with drinks and came out with adults meal (vs before); drinks took 15+ mins; 2 meals clearly left standing under heat lamps and when one sent back was microwaved. Management handled this well. Address the situation, apologized, compensated the portion of the bill and was present. Server tried her best. Glad we had a gift card. Will return with hope ... Once.

Went looking for a good hamburger and fries. Didn't find it. They say they have chip truck fries. NOT the case. Closer to mashed potatoes. The burger paddy consisted of two very thin and overcooked pieces. The only saving grace was the fact that the people were very friendly and provided good service. I would not go back here

I went here 2 time in one week for the first time since I was a kid. I had amazing experiences both times. I went with my boyfriend the first time and the waitress was so nice. And I went the second time with a small group of friends and it was a different waitress and she was also very nice. My food came out really quick to the point I was stocked. It seemed I went when they were not very busy (which is the best time to go to any restaurant) the food was great both times I ordered rids the first time and the second time I got a salad with chicken which was great. Also got spinach dip both times and that’s always amazing. Love this place will be going back!!

The service was excellent.But as the brother of a trained chef .The only good thing was the ice cream at the end and we were 5 pple so i got to tast 5 dishes plus the appetizers.The chicken wings were not the best...kinda bland..i've had better.The sauces were supposed to make em better but just as bland but spicy.The kids meals were about the size of an adult meal.I included pictures to prove that...i hope on my next visit it will be better because we make a day out of visiting cornwall and this was dissapointing.

Went out for lunch with my three daughters and two grandsons after spending the day together. I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich and bowl of Red Pepper Tomato soup lunch combo. I have dentures and so eating anything hard is difficult and i choke easily. I thought i would be safe ordering the soup but this was not the case. I almost choked because there was some type of stick in my tomato soup which luckily i caught before swallowing. It was difficult to get out and so i had to use my fingers to reach inside and remove the item. This was quite embarrassing to say the least and when i mentioned it to the waitress she brushed it off and said she couldn’t see how it could have got in the soup. Nothing else was done and i told the waitress that i was concerned for other customers who might also have this issue and not be so lucky.

Very disappointed with the service. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the pepper corn burger. We waited 30 min to only be told the waitress got my order wrong. Brought out my husbands burger and I had to wait another 30 min for my salmon. Waitress didn’t even ask me if I still wanted the salmon just quickly walked by table and said it would be ready soon actually took another 30 min. At that point didn’t offer an appetizers nor did she offer to fill my empty ice tea. I watched my husband eat his entire meal while I waited for mine. Which I didn’t even really want anymore but was never asked. Bill came no discount nothing. They are just teaching people to freak out and make a scene. Which I shouldn’t have to do. If something is mistaken bec we are all human and make mistakes and I can understand that fully. Make up for it in some way. Free desert, discount, appetizer while waiting total of 1 hour for my meal. Anything. Very upsetting they should treat people better then that.

I had the sriracha and lime chicken. It was crispy, hot but not too hot and tangy. My wife had the chicken fried butter chicken, which tasted nice also. Our son was happy with his meal from the kids menu and the desert he got was quite impressive. The service was good considering they were pretty busy. Pretty good for a national chain.

I was in the mood for some steak so I came here. However I was rather disappointed with the portion size, it wasn't a very big steak and I didn't get much in terms of sides either. For the price I paid I felt it wasn't very good value. It was delicious and the service was good, but I just didn't feel like I got my money's worth.

A mixed experience. We stood at the door for 4 or 5 minutes before the hostess even realized we were waiting, not a good start..then the waitress was a no show for the first 10+ minutes at the table. Once we got underway all was well though - the waitress was super friendly and the food was tasty, if not fast. The beer was super cold which was nice after a long day on the road. Unfortunately the WiFi service was dead, despite showing a connection - we gave up after 10 minutes of trying to access it only to have the waitress mention that it wasn't setup. Why not just unplug it instead of wasting customers time thinking it's working when it's not?

Called Feb 25th to reserve for March 4 (1 week ahead) for a Birthday get together for my husband. Handful of people in the restaurant. Waitress didn't introduce herself and took our drink and food orders Food took awhile to come out, which was understandable because we ordered a chipolte shrimp steak. When the steak finally came out it was a goat cheese steak and I explained it was a wrong order. The waitress took it back. I couldn't even find our waitress to ask her how long for it to come back out. No condiments and 3 of us had hamburgers. The egg on the breafast hamburger was undercooked. It was still clear/white runny couldn't even find waitresses to ask for condiments to cover the taste after scrapping the slime from the egg. ...another person had chicken ceaser salad which had a small breast that was dry and overcooked. Some of us were done eating by the time the steak came back out and it was still wrong... they just added shrimp on top of what was there. Bloody plate/bloody mashed potatoes from the steak sitting so long and it was not even spicy (hence what was ordered was a Chipolte Shrimp steak). No apology when it finally came out. Told our waitress when we finally seen her that it was still a wrong order but was still going to eat it because it already took too long..still no apology. No offers at ALL for refills throughout the entire reservation. When my husbands birthday cake came out they just placed it in front of him. The waitress looked at me and commented "we dont sing" I would have liked to know that before since it was his Birthday. Still no offer for drinks or even coffee with dessert. I am really upset at this point and got up and ask another waitress to tell our waitress we would like coffee with dessert. She came and got our order again with no apology. Guess what...still wrong! Very little creamers and again couldn't find her to ask for more. When the bills came all were full price. Was not impressed for the rest of the orders but the steak should have had a discount because of how long it took and the order was still wrong etc. When I mentioned this she made it seem like an inconvenience to her and shrugged her shoulders and said "I'll tell the Manager" Now I believe it was the manager who came and brought the bill..dropped it on the table with no apology and walked to the end of the table and had the other couples pay. Then our waitress came for our payment, again no apology. We had a gift card and she said how much do you want me to put. I said the amount on the bill. She asked again and I said AGAIN the amount and pointed at the bill this time. I normally tip 15-20% and this time I gave nothing!! I grabbed the bills to look at our waitresses name since it was never mentioned. I could mention her name here but that is for me and Corporate/Management to discuss. It was my husbands 45 bday and I was so upset with the outcome. We have gone there many times before...yes sometimes the service is slow but the friendly staff made up for it. This time it was ALL unacceptable I was actually disgusted with everything from the food/service/management/lack of everything!! I will be contacting Corporate office to file a complaint.

My order came somewhat incomplete, I posted my complaints in a review here and the owner promptly responded. I realized I had eaten here plenty of times and had been satisfied every other time but never left a positive review so I'm changing my review to reflect that. People aren't perfect and the owner obviously took my complaints seriously and cared that my meal wasn't satisfactory on my recent order. Over all the food is good when done properly, which it is most of the time. It's not going to be a five star meal but it is simple, comfort food at a reasonable price for a sit down restaurant. The bourbon bbq lightlife burger is up there as one of my favorite veggie burgers.

Friendly staff and fairly quick service but the food was just alright. Fries were lacking flavour and if you get the sweet potato fries they charge extra for the sauce too. So meh.

My boyfriend and I walked in and the place smelt amazing. It was our first time there. I ordered the bacon grilled cheese by the photo in the menu. When our order finally came, I had thought I got the wrong order. We double checked the menu online and confirmed it was my order. It had mushrooms, a lot of mushrooms, onions, 2 small strips of bacon and cheese. My mistake for not checking the ingredients, but I unfortunately hate mushrooms and picked them out. I was left with, a dry grilled cheese with tossed onions(not caramelized) and could hardly taste the bacon. My boyfriend got the bacon cheese burger and wasnt happy with the size of the burgers inside it. He said the photo in the menu had better ones. Frechfries were good though ????
