Very nice little wine boutique located amongst the bigger wineries. We stopped in because there was a sale on for 8 dollars a bottle but unfortunately they were sold out of the red/only white available which we do not prefer. We ended up sampling and then purchasing a bottle of Robin's Nest Rose and a bottle of the Tower Red. The Robin's Nest was very fruity and sweet which made for an excellent hot summer day drink. The Tower Red was also enjoyable and was a very good value at $17/bottle. The 2 employees there that day were very knowledgeable and friendly. Glad we decided to stop here and if we are in the area again would definitely visit again.

Beautiful storefront with some very nice wines. Walked away with a very reasonably-priced 04' Cabernet Franc. This wine had a far deeper flavour profile than the more recent '18 variants - I'd recommend trying both for comparison!

Stopped by Josephs as we were driving around Niagara on the lake and enjoyed some wine tastings. It has become a favorite of yours on our wine tours of Niagara. The staff are always inviting and before we were seated there was commentary mulled wine at our table. We left with a smile and a nice glow on our faces. We took home a late harvest vidal and a country red. Our daughter is honeymooning in Niagara in a few weeks and Joseph's will be a stop on their travels.

Very unprofessional and unorganized. My sisters and I attended a wine tour, they didn't change our glasses between tasting and they weren't sure on their pricing. They all talked over each other as if nobody actually worked there. Worst winery in our whole tour by far.

Do not waste your time to visit this place!!!. We were a group of 10 and visited this winery today as part of a tour. We had the worst experience ever! They told us there were no chairs available and that we had to do the whole hour of tasting standing. When one of us respectfully asked if any other arrangements can be made we got screamed at and insulted by one of the employees named Sheryl. She ruined our whole day with her terrible attitude. Another employee named Diane was very nice and apologized but it was too late.

I've been going to Joseph's Estate Wines ever since I discovered them in 2004. I love the quality of these wines. The fruit wines are truly exceptional and the caliber of the reds and whites are world class. While the staff vary in their level of enthusiasm I've always enjoyed the tastings. The value is incredible. We bought our wines for our wedding last year and the whites and reds were a true hit. Other wineries are bigger and have fancier things like tours and restaurants, but if they don't serve Joseph's wines, you'll wish they did. As I told the owner some years ago now, the difference between his wines and others is that other wines list the flavours of the wine but they don't mention things like kerosene, dirt, all those flavours we know and dislike in wines. His wines list the flavours and those are the flavours. Clean, clear, absolutely drinkable. (The red we got for our wedding breathed like a $40 bottle of fine French. People were smuggling it out and asking for more. Each bottle cost us under $9).

We got a package for $500 and something to go to 3 wineries. Lake view was really nice and good they gave us 2 wine samples and 2 ice wine. We then headed to Joseph's and they only gave us 2 samples of only wine and then she wanted to charge us another $1.00 and $3.00 per sample for iced wine and something elese. The wine was not good, the person doing was very serious and uptight. But after we pay over $500 dollars we are told if we want iced wine we have to pay $3 dollars I don't think that's right. Then we headed to Caroline cellars and it was AH-MAZING !!!! Would HIGHLY recommend. Overal Joseph's do not recomend they give you 2 samples and try and charge you for anything else. If your going for a bachelorette DO NOT RECOMEND it was terrible !

This is a cosy winery. The quality of the wines are okay, but the staffs are really friendly and knowledgeable. They provides lots of details regarding their wines and the are passionate about it. We alway have fun time there.

Horrible white and red wines. Strong alcohol dankness when you smell it. Ice wines are their specialty, but I never tried it. They were good back in 1997 to 2000 with their past glorious rewards. Rude server had no energy left and did everything reluctantly when we came in near the very end of the day. She had long hair in her 40 to 60's.

This place is a hidden gem! We stopped here with some friends for a tour and tasting and were blown away. I've been to tons of winery's in the area and this one is top notch. Cheryl was our tour guide and she was the best tour guide ever! Friendly, funny and so knowledgeable! We learned a ton about the history of Joseph's as well as wines! The sherry is delicous. And the best of all ----the ice wine----- best ice wine i have ever tasted by bar! Exceptional!! New fav winery for sure!! Thanks Cheryl!!! ♡

We have recently placed two online orders with this local winery. Both deliveries arrived within a couple of days. So far we have enjoyed their reds. The Vintage Country Red is my wife’s favourite as it is slightly sweet. The Old Town Red is dry. I like them both. We are yet to taste their late harvest sweet wines. We are locals, and enjoy wines from other well known wineries as well. In terms of price, and quality, Joseph’s Estates Winery offers great value for money for our dinner accompaniment wine.

We were impressed with the country red wine that we brought back the last time we visited Niagara and went back again. We were given many free samples of wines to taste including IceWine. The employees were very nice to us . I highly recommend stopping and shopping for reasonably priced wine.

The wines weren’t very good, and the “VIP” tour consisted of a five minute walk outside. Every time a new group entered we were ignored, which was irritating.

My husband and I recently went on a wine tour and this was our first stop. During the tastings, I noticed that we received less of the wine samples than everyone else. After the tastings, we switched over to the boutique, our entire group stood around the bar to purchase extra samples. My husband and I were skipped over several times. I thought that maybe I was being a little sensitive so I just shrugged it off. Upon returning to our hotel room, we discussed the tour and my husband felt the exact same way. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable experience.

Horrible experience, we went on an amazing wine tour with Niagara Fun Tours and coming to this winery put a damper on an otherwise really great day. The staff was very dismissive and couldn't be bothered to serve us 1 sample, but had no issue giving 2nds to the other people on our tour. While we were standing their getting ignored, other people on the tour ended up offered us their extra samples, since the staff hadn't offered us any. The staff memeber said she didn't know we were part of the tour, even though we all walked in all together and only our bus was there. I didn't want to be over sensitive so I brushed it off but then the same staff member was treating other people of colour on our bus tour the same way, it was sad and uncomfortable to watch and experience. I wouldn't recommend coming here, and certain people should work in tourism positions if they don'tlike all types of people.
