We have the reviews of people like you who purchase the services and products of Sunnybrook Farm (Winery) around Corner Brook territory (Canada).
Nowadays this firm receives a rating of 4.4 over 5 and this rating has been calculated on 89 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is quite high, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Winery is included in the category of Farm.
Wonderful traditional fruit wine
Stopped for quick tasting of some ciders..
Best fruit wines in Ontario...a must visit.
Awesome products, awesome producers
Too good for words. There is no winery quite like this one. It's a bit of a hike but should definitely be on your tour list. There is nothing here you won't want to take home with you!
A great selection of fruit wines.
Absolutely love this place. Always friendly.
I can't imagine Thanksgiving dinner without Sunnybrook's Apple Spiced Wine. If you're in the Niagara area, you need to stop by.
This is my first time to taste fruit wine. It’s great! I am not a white wine person, but this is perfect for me! I bought a Poire Sec which is super Dry!
bought a groupon for a wine tasting and I would say that it was entirely worth it. great wines and selection with a cute little tasting room. wish we were able to walk around the vineyard but apparently that was off limits.
Although the fruit wines were not to my palette, my experience was enjoyable.
My mother and I recently did our own bike tour of some of the wineries in Niagara on the lake. Sunnybrook Winery happened to be our last stop of the day before heading back to our Airbnb. We were really excited to try something new and sample the fruit wines. We arrived and it was 5:40 PM and the sign said they closed at 6pm. There was an older lady inside with grey long hair and she was less than welcoming. She made it a point to tell us that they normally close before six however allowed us to do a tasting. She wasn’t very friendly and pointedly told my mother that she thought she had enough to drink. We were by no means intoxicated and my mother wanted to buy a bottle of that fruit wine which is why she asked for another sample. The plan was to come back the next day without our bikes and buy a few bottles but I would never buy anything from this winery again let alone that lady. This is a customer service industry if you want people to buy your wines they might want to rethink their choice of person behind the tasting desk.
Wonderful and tasty selection of fruit wines. This is a lovely alternative to the predominantly 'grape' wineries in the Niagara region. Limited parking on busy days, and vehicles larger than a shuttle may not be able to disembark / embark.
Great winery to stop at for tastings. employees were nice and helpful. Thank you for a great experience :)
My boyfriend and I had an excellent visit to this winery over the weekend. The store and tasting area is smaller in size compared to other wineries in the area but the wine is delicious and a refreshing change from the grape wine tastings we had done at other wineries during our trip. The cranberry wine was my favourite and we will definitely be returning for another visit.
Purchased their cider Ironwood via curbside and it was AMAZING!!! I’ve been looking for a cider I enjoy and have tried many local ones and by far the best one, I’ve come across. It’s dry (not too sweet), doesn’t have a strong flavor of apple and just the right amount of fiz. Sandtrap has it on tap too (when restaurants open back up), perfect treat at home or when out for dinner.
Went to about 4 different wineries in the area. This is by far the best. Very different and unique flavors. Red and fruity wines and ciders. Service was also very friendly.
Very small shop and expect a quick in and out. They serve several different types of fruit wines and a couple of ciders. We tried most of the fruit wines and they were quite good. The blueberry and peach wine were our favorites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to go into a smaller winery that wasn't so crowded.
Clean and cozy with very friendly and informative staff. If you go, try the blueberry and redhaven peach wines! Stop by in the summer time for some godly cherry cider. We are all so sad that it's done! One more thing: buy a membership for free tastings and a monthly delivery of three surprise bottles of wine!
came for Fruit wines as this is the only one has fruit wine in the area. Had tried few kinds of fruit, love them all. It is always good to try something different. Brought two bottles of raspberry wine. Definitely will be coming back:)
Bugs in the wine !
Not as flashy as the bigger wineries and we didn't see a tour, but the tasting was great and honestly the fruit wines were killer. An understated winery, for sure.
Visited Sunnybrook winery today and was appalled at the service. The lady assisting us was incredibly rude. Not knowing much about wines, we asked her if the blueberry wine was a red, she told us to check the bottles behind us or imagine the colour of the solid fruit. We were so embarrassed. I have visited Niagra countless times and have never been treated so poorly. It is there job at the winery to answer questions without making you feel stupid. Would never go back or recommend.
This place deserves so many more reviews because it is FANTASTIC. They have a huge selection of fruit wines, some very unique, and they have fruit ice wine for a great price.
the staff was great and cider was amazing. Second time there and will definitely be back again!
My wife and I enjoyed this winery, lots of berry wines. A nice change when wine tasting.
We had a flight of ciders which were ok. I chose one I liked and they said they only had growlers so I went with that. When I told them I wanted the seasonal lakeshore cider the staff were talking amongst themselves and gave me the wrong one. I drove almost 2 hours away and was not impressed. The staff were also not wearing masks.
Our first time having cider and it did not disappoint . A great selection of cider. the Apple pie was spectacular. The staff was super friendly and looked after us very professionally . They also have a great selection of shirts and other merchandise. The building sits on some beautiful land in Historic Niagara on the Lake . There is ample parking and the grouds are clean. If your in the area definitely check out this place .
Great selection of fruit wines, and no charge for tasting.
So far so good! Maple apple wine is delicious! Ordered it and the spiced apple. Haven't visited winery yet but plan to in the spring. Thanks again to Richard for delivery after the courier 'LOST' ..ahem probably kept my order . Will order again soon ????????
We visited about a month ago. Service was good and the Blueberry wine was superb. Will go back again to sample and buy more.
We thought the place was closed from the road but they have a cute patio set up around back. They have wonderful ciders and fruit wines. The woman doing the tasting was super friendly and even gave us a little tour. This stop was the highlight of our day in Niagara.
If you are a Cider lover.... You got to stop by and try their hoppy cider.
Staff were friendly and good outdoor tasting venue for physical distancing. Enjoyed the Cranberry wine the best. Fruit wines in general are not my thing but they also have excellent ciders.
We stopped here by chance one afternoon and had such a pleasant visit! We bought two bottles of wine so our tastings were free, which was a nice touch. The wines were all fruit and so delicious, the apple pie wine is out of this world!
We came as part of a group. The ciders were underwhelming but the wines were fantastic! The property is beautiful
Samples were not 2 ounces
Love the Ironwood cider!
The building was nice, tried a couple of samples for about $5 for 3 or 4 types. The only one we liked was the apple cider. I didn’t even bother finishing the fruit wine samples, they really weren’t very good. A couple of days later, I just opened a can of the cider. It’s not the same as what I sampled. There’s a really metallic after tasted. I chilled it longer, even put ice it in. It’s no better. Pretty disappointed.
Cider was so good we got a keg of it for my birthday!
My partner and I went to Sunnybrook this afternoon and met a lady called Dorothy. She was very knowledgable about the wine and gave us great suggestions. We ended up buying cranberry and maple-apple wine from her. Delicious! I would 100% recommend checking out this gem near NotL if you're in the area.
Apple iced wine is my favorite, but they have a selection of great fruit wines.
Deliciously sweet wines, sweet and knowledgeable staff! A place to definitely stop in and try. Prices are very low for the quality of product!
Excellent cider and various fruit wines 100% worth checking out.
Amazing fruit wines and ciders. Made with fruit from their orchards. So....... Jennifer is the best!
This place is definitely my favourite in Niagara. I will come back here as often as I can. The lady was very sweet to me and my friend.
This is a very unique winery in the sense that the selection of wines cannot be found elsewhere. They have pear wines, pear cider, blueberry wines etc. The tasting experience was very quiet when we went but because only 3 tables were laid out, I'm going to have to call this winery a true hidden gem! I definitely liked this place more than some big name wineries in the area.
Loved visiting this little winery. Their fruit wines were simply delicious, and so was their Ironwood Apple Cider. This place seemed more low-key compared to some of the other wineries we passed by. It was quiet and easy to discuss the wines. The woman working was really open to talking about the wines and the other wineries in the area. She helped us pick out wines we knew we'd love, as well another winery to tour that day. Definitely recommend this place and their pear wine! Great experience overall, would definitely return on a future trip.
Great little winery with amazing cider.
Great place for authentic fruit wines and ciders. Extensive selection. There's an outhouse. Could use a bike rack.
Not a wine or cider guy at all, that being said I did leave with a bottle of blueberry and cranberry wine. I sampled their cider, and while I'm not a fan, they were tasty. The staff was super friendly as well as accommodating as they led us through a tour of their new 10,000 sq ft expansion. Great tour, I'm just not a wine and cider guy.
Amazing wine!! Definitely recommend
Wow really great experience at Sunnybrook! So many different fruit wines, I sampled so many and they were all delicious. The pear ice wine is not to be missed! I definitely will go back there and bring friends visiting Niagara!
Incredible vineyard! Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Delicious and creative wines!
Very awkward experience. My friends and I bought a groupon ticket for a wine tour. We were so excited to try wine and have a tour around the area. But when we arrived they awkwardly stared at us, lacked information of the wines and very uninterested. They gave some samples and left us standing there. The experience lasted 10 minutes and we did not recieve a tour, history, or information about the wine. We really tried having a good time but sunnybrook is now part of a bad memory. I will never go back and I will never recommend.
Rather disappointing visit. Fruit wines only (no grapes). Just ok. No washroom. Machine for credit cards broken.
Amazing product but no home for locals. I contacted sunnybrook before driving to NOTL concered they were close due to covid. Jen in retail said "come on down" so we packed our growlers and headed down. Upon arrival i asked what the seasonal was and jen told me to read the board. Well thanks for telling me nothing. Then i was infomed they will not be taking back growlers. If i wanted them filled i could buy new ones or return home to clean my own because they dont have the equipment to clean them... howd you clean them before?... Bad experience I'll just be going to the LCBO from now on.
Lovely
Very good wines and friendly staff. This winery does not need fancy showroom to enhance its quality
Best hard cider in Niagara! Get them in growler, tastes better from tap than the can, obviously. Fruit wines are good, dark chocolate and blueberry is nice
Fantastic! The selection and tasting of fruit wines was excellent. Delicious blends - especially the iced apple and chocolate blueberry. Groupon deal is really good.
They offer tastings - 4 for $15 and 10% off with any purchases after if you have bought a tasting. If you like fruity wines and ciders, this place is your go to! I loved their pear wines in particular their iced pear wine which I bought.
