REVIEWS OF Vista D'oro Farms & Winery IN Chilliwack

Edwin Guerra

We experienced poor customer service here. Their sampling setup is unhygienic as they give you a disposable spoon which you are supposed to reuse for multiple samples. Farm is not dog friendly either. After attempting to interact and keep an open mind we passed on sampling their wine selection and took our business elsewhere. Maybe we just weren't the right crowd for this establishment.

Preserves and fortified wines. My fave

This was the highlight of my summer! Excellent customer service, beautiful setting, amazing wine and preserves. Thank-you for the great experience.

Excellent jams. Very good walnut wine. Very quaint.

Daryl Oberg

The wine tour was well done and the pizza was amazing. A nice local winery.

Amazing wines, very unique Very knowledgeable staff. Love the preserves. Tasting is $5 and the price is not taken off if you buy a bottle (most places give you a free tasting if you buy a bottle)

Ann STH

Lovely place and friendly staff. Didn't have the chance to do the tasting.

A paradise, and the D'Oro walnut port is increeeedddible!!!!! We loved the wine, and give yourself time to look around the farmhouse shop at the preserves...they're such intriguing combinations - the Blueberry & Bourbon is the best jam I've ever had! Perfect place for a birthday lunch or a special outing with someone you want to feel special. I wish I had picked up more wine because we finished ours pretty quickly!

Love this place. It is stunning and the owners are very nice. Loved the way they handled covid with their set cheese and wine menus. Looking forward to coming back when the weather is nice again

VERY disappointed with this winery. I would not recommend this place for anyone. I went for a friends engagement party today. The man who greeted us was very rude and aggressive. We showed up, and he let us in as far as the grass. He served the wine in plastic cups. We paid good money, and were promised a wine tasting and to try their famous jam. Instead, he dismissed our group after the wine tasting and said we weren't gonna try the jam. Waste of money. The wine didn't even taste good! There are so many better wineries within 5 mins. Don't waste your time going here.

Had a really lovely afternoon wine tasting and the preserves they make ate incredible. Highly recommend adding this to a day out the valley for anyone.

One of the most cute, quaint and authentic wineries I have ever been to! Their is not to many vineyards where the wine maker and owner comes out and does a private tasting under the beautiful walnut tree with the vines as a back drop! The wines are all natural and on point...Highly recommending this hidden gem!!!

What a gem! Fabulous location/property, owners, people, wines & preserves! We were treated to a private Vineyard tour & tasting with the owner, Patrick, and it was incredibly interesting and simply amazing! We got to meet his wife, Lee, who is the talent behind the preserves & the author of their cookbook. Thank-you both for a fun experience - we will definitely be back!

Lovely people and setting but the wine was the worst! It tasted like vinegar. We did buy some jam and it's awesome!

My god. *BEWARE* we completed a wine tasting at this location ( wonderful setting for lunch). But the wine is the worst I have ever had in my life. I don't understand how the staff can serve these tasters in good conscience. The one drinkable item is the walnut port, but at $50, its terrible value. Compare authentic port, at $40 to $50, and this walnut port wouldn't come close to them. If you end up going, ask for a spittoon save yourself the trouble and, pour all the tasters directly into the spittoon.

Their wine wasn't my bag, but very nice people and cute setting.

FIRST CLASS AUTHENTIC LOCAL WINERY EXPERIENCE! We loved our visit: Beautiful spot, friendly staff, relaxing setting... This is the real thing - not a fake, commercial tourist spot. Highly recommend the wine tasting and do not forget to shop for wine and delicious preserves to enjoy at home as well:) The tasting room is lovely. Can't wait to visit again.

Charming little place located not too far from Chaberton estate. Great place to visit if you’re out doing the circle farm tour. They have their own food truck/trailer parked out front making pizzas and you’ll find at least 2 dozen exotic jams on hand, they have a jam for almost any food pairings.

Our Sunday touring would have not been complete, without stopping at this, off the beaten track, D'oro Farms. The preserves are particularly good and the fosh port is excellent. This place is quite small and today, with a wine tour bus here, we were four more ready to squeeze in, but we didn't, so maybe next time.

Very disappointed with this winery. I left 3 messages regarding a possible reservation in 4 weeks time and no one has even had the decency to ring me back. Very unprofessional. All the other wineries in the area had no problem calling me back within 24 hours. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

One of my favorite stops on our local wine tour. Rustic, peaceful location with unique microclimate offering amazing natural wines and some of the finest preserves anywhere. Winemaker and proprietor Patrick is a gracious host and offers a great experience and a very unique fortified walnut dessert wine.

Very charming and warm winery. Has very unique wine with walnut. A must visit when touring wineries.

Beautiful local winery and farm. Spent couple of relaxing hours after Prospera Valley GranFondo tasting wine, enjoying cheese and charcuterie on the outdoor patio of the tasting room. The property is charming and well maintained. You can really feel passion and care of the owners everywhere. Their great wines and extensive selection of preserves are available to buy at tasting room... Went home with couple of each:) Definitely a must visit.

Some of the most unique tasting wines I’ve ever tried, it was a great change from what you usually try on tastings. The location is so cute, friendly and knowledgeable staff, would definitely recommend!

The atmosphere was nice and the pizza was the good. The problem was that the wines were not very good. We bought a couple of bottles to be polite but they don't wave the tasting fee so it ending up being very expensive for sub par wine.
