We offer you the information of people who consumed the products of Seaside Pearl Winery (Winery) near to the area of Chilliwack (Canada).
At this moment this firm has a score of 4.5 out of 5 and this rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is almost the best one, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Winery is included in the category of Winery.
Absolutely horrible experience. I had a reservation booked for 8 people for my birthday, two weeks in advance. Sure enough they didn’t have any tables set aside even though there was a high top that we could’ve sat at if they had reserved it for us. When the entire party got there we were completely ignored and we weren’t greeted once. If they couldn’t accommodate 8 people it should’ve been mentioned on the phone when we said there would be 8 of us. thankfully single tree winery is 3 minutes down the road and was able to provide great wines and amazing customer service.
Such a fun experience! Lovely winery and very knowledgeable and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a winery tour.
Wow what an amazing experience our server was extremely knowledgable. the wines are beyond amazing the chapel had such a beautiful ambiance that made me want to stay there for hours. seaside pearl is my favourite winery in the Fraser valley. I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can. Thank you for such an amazing experience. LOVED IT
Absolutely beautiful place... good selection of wines...4 star because they ran out of charcuterie boards???? Would order as soon as you arrive ❗
The wine tasting room/building is beautiful. Must see. Do not recommend wine tasting. Waste of money. None of their wines were good. Definitely not for the price they sell it for. I had purchased a bottle of Royal Engineers with no high hopes due to our tasting experience. Opened it recently and it turned out pretty good.
The tasting today was great! We enjoyed every moment and learned a lot.
Scenery and atmosphere are amazing. One of my favourite BC wines, not to mention people are always a pleasure to be around! TEN STARS
We were going to use Seaside Pearl as a wedding venue. If you are considering them, I would advise against it. After providing all of the information and asking questions ahead of time, the owner began changing her mind on things she had already agreed to — layout, availability and times for setup. More importantly, she refused to give us an invoice. This was a week before the wedding. It was incredibly unprofessional. Luckily, we were able to find another venue four days before the big day. I hope by writing this review, I can save someone else from being in that circumstance.
Wonderful family owed business! They offer a great selection of wines paired with local cheeses in a beautiful tasting room. Seaside staff were very informed and added to the experience. Will visit again.
So lovely! ❤️ Had an amazing time
austin is great! lots to taste. very informative!
My in-laws are European and heavy wine consumers. They got me into it about 4 years ago and of all the wineries in the Fraser valley that I’ve been to (including the Kelowna area), Seaside pearl is by far the best. The wine is tremendous and vibe set by the friendly staff is very delightful. Allison’s knowledge of wine is incredible and can really help you understand the correlation between the grape and the taste of the wine. She is also a very beautiful person inside and out. Highly recommend!
Some amazing wines and a really informative tasting with lots of wines. All the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.
This is the most beautiful winery I have ever been to my favourite wine is their Red blend it was amazing, it went amazing with my dinner tonight. Allison was so amazing at presenting the wines to us it was an experience we've never had before at anyone not even a winery in the Okanogan. I can't wait to visit this hidden gem again.
We were driving by and stopped in for a tasting. Such a friendly place that accommodated our puppy and made us feel so welcome. Our tasting experience was a warm and inviting experience. We not only got to taste great wine but also learned so much about how to taste and what to look for in a good wine. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon
I have been twice, once alone and once with my husband. I mean it when I say it is an amazing winery. The sparkling wine and merlot was my favorite, but they were all amazing. The best part was the experience. Each time they made me feel special and loved. The first time I got the best wine tasting I have ever received by the owner, the second time they offered to show me the barrel room. We got to try the product straight from the barrel. I will be back and I hope to bring anyone that visits from afar with me.
Went there on the weekend and was impressed!! Wine was great, chapel was beautiful, staff was knew their stuff and were super kind. would definitely go back!
Lovely place and nice staff
Well I must say,,,, I was invited to this little family run winery a while back and Was very impressed with the people whom run it. Passion is everything and you can feel that when you sit down for a glass of wine. Very impressive place and will be going back this Saturday. Rock N Roll Seaside Pearl SEA U Soon !!!
After visiting another local winery nearby having a wonderful experience, they had signs posted, hand sanitizer outside and max 6 people permitted. When I made this my next stop the door bumped into a person standing inside, I was unable to enter, hear a woman's voice who was explaining to 2 people who were inside that tastings are $10. After not hearing this woman acknowledge my presence I left, had time to enter my car and did not rush away. I decided to phone the winery to provide my observations when I did I was faced with a barrage of excuses. I hung up and to my surprise she called me back from another number to again yell at me. I hung up again. I then received 2 txt msgs....as if I have not heard enough. I will never go back or recommend that winery to anyone, it's no wonder there are so many bad reviews. Here are the txt. This is Seaside Pearl. When you called today I explained to you on your first call we are limited tasting , and doing a trial run at the tasting room. you have no patience and you alone don't live in this world . you are the rude you and the rudest person that I've ever encountered and you can leave a bad review on me I don't care but I think anyone who knows you would know that you are very rude and an inconsiderate person. I'm sure your aware of Covid-19. Different rules and regulations have been set into place for the winery guest. You didn't even take a step inside to realize that every customer that comes in to Seaside Pearl has to have their temperature taken name written down where they've been etc. I am very taken back by how you've treated me and how aggressive you've chosen to handle me. It's not only you that has to be taken into consideration when in this world. And I'm the rude one?
Fantastic selection of wines served in a really charming atmosphere. We were served by one of the owners. She was absolutely lovely to chat with. She provided a lot of info about the wines, the grapes for some of which are grown on site.
Beautiful facility with a wonderful ambiance. The 2017 Fraser Gold Chardonnay is on point! Overall, great experience. Will be there again..
I don't recomend, because they charge $150 to sit in patio,
This is a really beautiful place.
Beautiful unique chapel setting for a winery. Awesome patio and great wines!!!
What a gem! Beautiful location, tasting room and friendly staff/owners! The wine isn't too shabby either ;)
Cutest tasting room and really good wines! Their Daffodils sparkling wine is my fave. The family is also sooo sweet and welcoming. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.
This is a cute little place if you want to relax and enjoy some wine. It is small and cozy with beautiful painting on the walls and a cute small, quiet patio. The owner, Allison is amaaaazzinng! She is very passionate, knowledgeable and approachable. She gives you all the details about the wine.. how they are made and the notes you will taste. Super welcoming and fun experience. I would go back again.
Nice relaxing place in the country
What a lovely winery with wonderful hospitality. Allison was terrific and was so knowledgeable as well as warm and friendly. We truly enjoyed our afternoon visiting with her and tasting the amazing wines. Don't miss it.
So…NEVER have I had this experience at a ‘legit’ winery. Started off nice enough. Our actual server was nice enough and pleasant. Recommended a nice bottle of wine and the charcuterie board which were both lovely. Our pleasant experience ended when we went to pay. It took 15 minutes of being shrugged off while the person who was attempting to help us with this helped other patrons get situated at a table. While we eventually payed, we were talked done to and chastised for not supporting them enough. Eventually, we got the discussion down to we were expected to purchase 2 bottles of wine. Funny…we did. Yet we were still tales down to and the server ( we later found out this may have been one of the owners) flat out insulted us and made a scene while we were just trying to pay out bill. This person clearly has a different view of customer service than most of the population out in the world. I’ve been to many wineries and never treated like this. This may seem to be harsh but all is true. This will likely be dismissed by the owner as based on previous reviews there is little concern for poor reviews.
We love this winery. Excellent wines and family run by a wonderful family. We are members and are treated royally. Just picked up our latest box of wine and can’t wait to go home and enjoy.
I went to this winery with a friend in the summer time and we had the best tasting experience ever. The winery is so beautiful, clean and the staff are all so incredibly nice. The wine and cheese plate we ordered afterwards was also amazing. I would highly recommend trying this winery out .Its small and feels more intimate
Allison the owner is a wonderful ball of energy. This winery is family own and ran and they are all exceptional souls. Austin was amazing at discussing the wines and is very knowledgeable about everything Seaside. The wine is tasty, complexed, and include multiple notes of flavour. The scenery absolutely is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a little break. Highly recommend.
Seaside Pearl has quickly become my favorite winery. I've had many tastings at gorgeous BC vineyards, and all fantastic, but the quality of wines and the exceptional service I receive from Seaside Pearl clearly makes them stand out. Will be back time and time again.
...... What's beyond AMAZING? Its during COVID and WOW. lol I apologize for the lack of words. Tyra is so beautiful and her personality truely reflects that beauty. The. BAM you have amazing wine and food. Just come meet them.
Decent wines in abbotsford. Their best come from okanagan vineyards which is not a surprise. Prices are on the mid-higher end of the scale in a direct from the source scheme. Also tasting fee is quite steep at $10.
I just spent a fabulous afternoon at this lovely, charming winery. It is a small family run business and the proprietors and the wine servers were so friendly and knowledgeable that I didn't want to leave. Our server Hennasey was absolutely wonderful and recommended some excellent wines. I went home with a great assortment of wines and I plan to return.
Great atmosphere and wine tasting but very pricey compare to other wineries!
Hidden gem in Abbotsford. Fantastic place to enjoy a day trip , and the wine is fantastic, local owned and operated If you have not tried their wine you have to try it, wont be disappointed top notch
I love this winery. My wife tasted their whites. I tasted their reds which were big and bold. It's a perfect place for tasting in their chapel. Try their tasting with the local goat cheese. You can't go wrong here!
beautiful place
beautiful place
I love this place, friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent wine selection! It's not hard to support a family business when they sell such an excellent product! Check them out!
Alison is amazing the views was perfect. I will definitely be back.
Lovely surprise and charming tasting room. Our host was very personable, but needs more experience with tasting with multiple groups. We had time to wait and glad we did, but other customers left. Looking forward to drinking the wine we bought and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely hands down must see winery with such a clean and professional (yet friendly, if that’s all possible). Learned how to taste the wines and how their grapes are from 3 different places. Won lots of awards and is craft made. If you are a wine person then this is the one you don’t want to miss. We thank the ladies for the kind reception ???? oh! And a whole barrel barn for tasting as well that is a designers dream ⭐️
Awesome unique place. Abbotsfords coolest winery. Food and wine was delicious. Place was picturesque and nice. Highly recommend.
Nice, charming little winery out in the west Abbotsford countryside. A selection of whites through to reds, got some snacks too if you find yourself getting hungry.
Excellent ✨ place refreshing relaxing a five star winery for sure.
Marks for effort in having a professional looking tasting area. That being said, it was all too scripted. Not once were we asked about where we were from, what brought us there, our knowledge of wine, our knowledge of BC wine, nothing. We had no say in what we would like to try either. The story behind each label is the highlight for me - it's a winery deeply rooted in its community, and I appreciate that. The wine itself is too one dimensional. The Cab Franc offers the most character and even then there's far better stuff out in the South Okanagan (which is where their grapes come from for this particular varietal). Overall, nice space, disappointing experience. ---- The response to my review above from the "owner" is laughable at best. Directing me to other positive reviews by experts. IT DOESN'T MATTER if I've visited your winery, had 7 of your wines and been condescendingly walked through them. "Best with a caesar salad, or a piece of chicken, or a chicken caesar salad." You having a laugh? You've obviously (I hope) worked very hard for your wine, and I didn't want to openly slight a burgeoning winery; but when you hide behind expert reviews instead of owning up to the shortcomings of your wine tasting experience, that's plain weak. Wait for it... like the wine.
Driving into this winery and seeing a Church made me wonder, where the winery tasting room was. Very enjoyable tasting, with fresh roses on our table for four and a wine scorecard to keep track. Tasted 7 very different wines and had a chance to meet one of the family, owners. Great place and we will be back. Thanks .....
I can’t speak to their wines because we didn’t get the opportunity to try any... we walked in and were not even acknowledged by any staff for the better part of ten minutes. After waiting a little longer without so much as a hello we left. It’s a very cute setting but honestly I don’t know if I’d even consider going back after the rude reception we received.
Excellent wines, very knowledgeable staff I learned alot about wine that I never would have known otherwise. I would definitely recommend going for a tasting. I would recommend you eating a decent size meal before you go also bring water. We tried 8 wines and by the time we were done so was I ????.
Love the attention of the owner Lady. The place is cozy gorgeous !
Amazing service and amazing wine location is so beautiful!
(Translated) I loved! The place is very beautiful, The attention was spectacular, The wines are very good. And after tasting the wines you can eat a tray of cheeses and charcuterie (Original) Me encanto! El lugar es muy hermoso, La atención estuvo espectacular, Los vinos son muy buenos. Y después de probar los vinos puedes comer una bandeja de quesos y charcuteria
The customer service here is one of the best! The staffs were so frienly and cheerful. It is a small lovely place to spend the afternoon wine tasting with friends. Also shout out to Miley, a wonderful staff that constantly run around asking for belly rubs.
Beautiful deco - nice wine - super friendly staffs - excellent service 5****
This is a really beautiful place.
Terrible wines and super slow service. Weird atmosphere for a tasting. Not impressed.
Knowledgable staff, great wine tasting experience! Wow!!!!! It was just fantastic! And don't forget, the wine selection was really great. I would definitely recommend a visit to this winery.
I have had the pleasure of visiting this winery on a number of occasions over the last year and i can still remember the first time like itbwas yesterday. What blew me away was the welcome i recieved by the ownership. Absolute feeling of home and that i was valued as a customer. You know that warm feeling you get from coming home. That didnt just stop at the first welcome. The whole time 4 hours plus we were like a part of the family while there. Everyone is over the top pleasantly beautiful. Mom, dad, daughter and son all the same just beautiful. Now the wines. I am not a wine professional but i have to say the wines that i have tasted on recommendation of the Seaside have been some of the most enjoyable wines i have drank. So much love at this winery and it shows in their craft of making amazing wines. I always look forward to visiting.
I have been coming to this winery with my family for over 4 years now and i've never been disappointed. All their wines are high quality with amazing notes. My all time favorite would be the rose, which I highly recommend. Not only are their wines amazing, the family atmosphere feels welcoming and adds to the over all ambiance of the beautiful tasting chapel. The owner Allison, always gives an in depth and knowledgeable tasting experience. She is a lovely person and if you have the chance to do a tasting with her you will leave with more wine knowledge each and every time.
Wow wow wow! This wine is amazing and the staff are so knowledgeable. I loved how they actually care about the wine they are making. You can feel the passion they have. Thank you
One of my favorite wineries. So many good wines.
Stopped in recently to buy some wines to go, and what a stunning property! The tasting room is in a chapel that is gorgeously decorated on the inside, and with a lovely patio outside. I sampled the Rose (dry, as I like it, and one of the best roses I've ever had) and Petit Milo (white, similar to a sauvignon blanc) before buying several bottles. Both were fantastic, and staff were very welcoming and helpful, even though I could see they were in the midst of handling a rude customer in the background. My grandparents' house was a few blocks from here, so the area holds special memories for me. This is a hidden gem that you should seek out. Will definitely be back again!
We had a good experience tasting some of their Yummy wine. The price is a bit in the pricier side compared to other wineries in the neighborhood. Beautiful place!
Great atmosphere and amazing hospitality!
Love the ambiance and the wines.
Wonderfully experience.
This is a lovely little winery. Very quaint with a nice patio for drinking a glass of wine in the sunshine. Their white wines are excellent and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
This is a lovely little winery. Very quaint with a nice patio for drinking a glass of wine in the sunshine. Their white wines are excellent and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Great winery with great wine. However, disappointed that last time I went to the winery, the wine cost more then online or previous times I’ve visited. Chardonnay was $27.00 where online and previous visits were $22.00. Not sure why this is!
Always heard about it, finally got to experience this place yesterday. Loved the atmosphere, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Allison and Dave are an absolute delight. Wine is delicious! Listening to the fun facts about how they named the wines , while chowing down on the locally sourced cheese plate, was just so much fun. Definitely will be back!!
Beautiful atmosphere and fantastic team!
"Please bring the entire family. We welcome guests to enjoy our “Wine by the Glass” on our patio. There’s plenty on our grounds that cater to families including a barn, horses, and bountiful fruit and vegetable gardens." This is what they say in their website, but we did not feel welcome here for a picnic. The information in the website is misleading, I think the place is Ok to go for tastings and have a glass with friends, not so much for families having a picnic. We asked where we can have a picnic, of course we plan to buy a bottle of wine, and she said well all tables are full and just give a moment, we waited for a bit and left, that's why I say the information is misleading, for what they say in their site and the pictures, I was expecting another environment. We drove 3 mins and found the perfect place to buy a bottle of wine and have our picnic outside, picnic tables and nice view, served by friendly and welcoming staff. They were busy too, but they treated us like they were happy to see us. Maybe Seaside is a good place, just don't try to cater to everybody, reflect in your site the type of customer you can really serve well.
Went there on the weekend hoping to share a nice bottle with my wife and enjoy a charcuterie board. BUT, unbelievable-- they said on weekends to sit there on their patio we had to purchase TWO BOTTLES of wine EACH! Can you imagine, to sit on their patio would cost me over $100 then I could purchase a $30 charcuterie board OMG never ever in my life. Never here, never in Oroyoos, never in Napa have I've ever had such a poor experience. Is this how they value clients? Or they have to FORCE us to drink their wine! Great wine sells itself! And word of mouth rules. Obviously me nor my friends nor my business associates will be coming here.
The tasting was lovely, great variety of wines. The server, Terra was very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed her presentation and personality of how she presented everything to us. Great time
Have never experienced such a knowledgeable, friendly and amazing winery. i definetly recommend this experiance to all.
Amazing space with very polite, personable and knowledgeable staff, this is family owned gem and I’ll definitely be back!!
I had attended this Winery is part of a friend's birthday party. As we showed up they did not have enough tables or chairs to accommodate our reservation, which was made in advance. When we walk through the door we weren't even acknowledged, nor did anyone look our way or say hello. It was really unsettling. They also continue to see people as we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, and minimize the seating for us. I have worked in the customer service industry for almost 10 years, and I know how important it is to greet your guests when they walk through the door. Nothing was done to accommodate us, or the mess up on their end. There was no apology, no nothing. I was very disappointed and I will not be back to the winery.
I enjoyed my experience at Seaside, product knowledge was definitely an asset. I now know how to choose my wines ????
Delicious wines specially the magnolia Cabernet Foch rośe is deeply gratifying on the palate. The staff are beautiful and nice with unique intelligent ways on how these types of wine are described through your nose, taste on your palate and the finish. Especially comparing the wines with the foods that we eat. They even have two types of cheese plates made to go with the wines.
Beautiful winery loved the samples too!
Staff was lovely. Unfortunately, all the wine that served to us was warm - night even slightly chilled. Wine tasting was $15 and waived if you bought TWO bottles of wine.
I've done over 30 wine tastings around BC and this was the best experience I've had -- far exceeding the +$50 experience in Kelowna. The owners were incredibly insightful, and non judgemental about how to taste wine and gave us a thorough rundown about each variety. To top off the amazing ambiance, it was heartwarming that this is a black-owned winery. Love supporting BIPOC businesses whenever I can ❤
The owner does a fantastic job of telling you all about the wines during the tasting. Probably the most in depth tasting I've had. One of my favorite places to go to sit on a patio with a glass (or bottle) of wine.
Great experience lovely staff, great wine selection and a stunning view!
Loved it . Staff was amazing . Location is amazing . We had a great time . Dandelion is the best sparkling wine I've had . Try this place it's must

Having a table to sit at for our tasting and the ability to taste all of their wines is amazing. The wines were excellent and the service was outstanding. We will definitely go back!
This is a wonderful little winery in rural Abbotsford. Quaint and charming. Tastings are in a little chapel type building. They have started a new happy hour which is a fantastic deal including a sharable charcuterie tray and 2 glasses of wine for $19. The sparkling rose and the Syrah were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing with jazz being played in background. Tastings are $10 but include 9 different varieties and the fee is waived upon purchase of a bottle. I don't think you'll have any trouble finding a wine you'll like. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here. Highly recommended!
Beautiful place, wonderful staff. I highly recommend checking this place out! The wine tasting experience was thorough and full of information. It was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed their outdoor seating area! Beautiful establishment and a wonderful place to enjoy a bottle of wine with the people you care about! I would love to see more food options (one day).
Love there wines. Beautiful atmosphere, and super friendly stuff. Always enjoy going there.
Beautiful setting. The chapel is so unique and so are the wines .. the Cab Foch is a MUST.
A wonderful experience today! Thank you for the wine tasting and the added rose! Made our day out with great friends!????
So good! Such lovely environment and customer service. Everything was great :)
Amazing!!
Stunning is the first word that blasted into my mind as I quietly squealed when we turned into this winery. From the gorgeous church inspired tasting room to the breathtaking views of the mountains, this winery is definitely worth the visit! Weddings, corporate events and romantic strolls around the grounds are just a few of the reason beyond the delicious, award winning wines, to visit Seaside Pearl Winery!
Beautiful quaint winery with a great selection of wines!!
Everyone at this establishment was very friendly, even had a nice long chat with the owner. By far one of the best winery experiences I’ve ever had.
Fraser valley's hidden gen
Unreal wines, staff is top notch. Best winery in the fraser valley by far
Absolutely lovely place to wine taste. Genteel hostess and atmosphere made for a special afternoon.
Loved this winery, lots of wines in the tastings, girls are all incredibly sweet and informative.
An Amazing place with knowledgeable staff with award winning wine is a most for everyone nothing but Good times.
Beautiful classy space. I advise calling ahead of time because it always busy and limited seats! We loved our visit and will definitely be coming back!
I don't even know where to begin about how amazing this winery is, from the hand painted walls to the beautiful ambiance and amazing wines they have to offer this is hands-down my favourite winery I've ever been to. the server we had was extremely knowledgable about the wines. Even the dogs were adorable, we had such a fun time and we definitely will be back.
I contacted the winery to express some concerns about a product and a previous service issue. The owner responded right away kindly and professionally. She invited us back and not only rectified the problem, but really went above and beyond our expectations. We will not only will come back often but will highly recommend it to all of our wine loving friends! Kudos to outstanding customer service and a delicious quality product.
What a great wine tasting, very informative. Lovely spot, excellent wine and the staff really knows their wines.
Absolutely LOVE this winery! The wine is exquisite! Tasting experience is amazing and the owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely! Garden area is beautiful with views of the vineyard and of the mountains. Perfect! ❤️????
Great time at this winery! Good wines, fantastic atmosphere.
Every time I go customer service is amazing! I would definitely recommend this winery. The back patio is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
The most in depth tasting experience I have ever had! Allison was lovely she truly gave us the full on winery experience with time and precision. We ended up purchasing two bottles of the petit verdot...one for us and one for our friends they loved it just as much as we did. Thank you again for the nice time at your winery.
Our favourite! Great place to visit - stay a while - visit with friends - enjoy a good selection of their wines - patio overlooking vineyard and spectacular view of Mt Baker. Worth the drive.
Beautiful church building and patio and view. White wines were warm and flaccid.
Great place to get married, cheaper than Vegas
We must have caught a bad moment, because: 1. The wine tasting took over an hour 2. Our designated driver was given a mostly used water bottle to drink from 3. We were only served 6 wines of 7 (after telling our hostess twice that our wine tour wasn't finished and we were on wine number 5) 4. We were never given the snack tray that goes with the wine tasting. All the other groups did 5. The bathroom had no toilet paper I've never written a poor review before. But this experience made our group feel unwelcome and devalued.
Four of us had the best experience this afternoon. Excellent wine and venue!
We had a great experience tasting the wines while Allison was explaining about each bottle. The tasting chapel is beautiful and Allison and her daughter are lovely. It was relaxed and nice visiting with the other guests. Thank you for such a pleasant afternoon, we will definitely return.
Seaside Pearl is one of the best wineries to visit in all of BC. The setting is amazing. The hospitality outstanding! The wines are extremly good. Drop by, you will be glad you did.
Was asked to come back in 20-30 min due to it being crowded, but when we came back despite waiting outside for the time in the parking lot, they let another group before us and we were refused service. Rude service despite being friendly and polite to the staff member there. Won’t ever give my patronage there and would strongly discourage anyone from going there. SEASIDE PEARL IS NO GOOD!!
Wow! This winery has the most incredible customer service. A mix up with their online reservation system causes a bit of confusion and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make up for it. The owners clearly care a lot about customer experience. I adore their wines - the Petit Verdot, Can Franc and Syrah are all incredible.
A fantastic wine tasting experience. Cozy with great music...my favorite place in abbotsford with magnificent wine to boot.
Beautiful winery
Love the environment and allison is always a delight!♥️
Great place, its a more classy wine tasting place.the other places i went you dont sit down to do tastings.a little more expensive as well. Its usually 5$ for tasting and this place was 15$.
Austin was a fantastic host. We had a group of five and we all said how much we loved his ability to recount the history and stories behind each wine and their labels. The wine itself was wonderful. We all appreciated the personable impression each of the staff members gave (especially Austin) and will be back again!
First time at a winery. The woman that served us upon arrival was wonderful. She explained that we needed a reservation for wine tasting (wasn't mentioned to us on the phone when we called ahead to ask if they were open, but ok, fine) she asked us if we would like to sit on the patio with some wine (made some recommendations and samples) and told us about their charcuterie boards (excellent description and delicious). Wonderful experience up until we went to pay. We had sat on the patio and had the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine. Upon check out I also had another bottle to take home. The woman checking us out... after waiting 20 minutes for service... informed us that it was expected that 2 bottles of wine were to be purchased per person. We tried to explain that that was not told to us upon arrival, and we were not here for the actual tasting. We were cut off and referred to their website to go over the 'rules' of their visits. (Note to readers, I have just read the website and there is nothing on the website about patio rules) the woman, possibly the owner, was exceptionally rude and made us feel guilty. Our visit was $100 for 3 of us (only 2 drinking) and for no other service then dropping off food and us picking up our own bottles of wine. Funnily enough the owner keeps posting the same reply to all negative reviews, but doesn't actually have that on their web page. But will keep interrupting you when you try to tell her that isn't clearly posted on her site, or made clear when you are sat on the patio. For a woman super concerned about how the public should support small businesses, she forgets how businesses should treat their customers. Oh well, lots of wonderful wineries in Abbotsford.
Very Beautiful place! Our server was Amazing!!! We will return.
This place is a hidden gem! Allison is amazing, the wines are fabulous. We will definitely be regulars.
The atmosphere at Seaside Pearl was beautiful! We had Austin as our host and it was an awesome experience. He was super knowledgeable about the wines and made the experience an enjoyable one! We learned a little history of the area and found the meanings behind their names and labels so interesting! Austin was very attentive and made the experience very nice! Everything was top notch! My husband and I really enjoyed our time here and their wines are delicious ! Recommend to your family and friends!!!
What a wonderful time, my new favourite winery, great staff, so knowledgeable with backgrounds and history that added to the whole experience! So amazing with delicious wines and beautiful scenery. Will definitely return as we had a great time with one of the sons (think his name was Austin!, sorry if I'm wrong)and can't wait to meet the owner, his mom!
What an amazing afternoon spent at the gorgeous Seaside Pearl Winery. The setting was similar to a fairy tale story book! This was the most thorough wine tasting I have experienced. I learned so many new things, thank you Allison and Hennasey for the amazing service. Loved everything thing about this place!!
A hidden gem in Abbotsford. A beautiful tasting room and patio. We tried a number of whites and reds, we ended up purchasing a few bottles. Our hostessTyra was so warm and welcoming, you can tell she really enjoys her "work". We will definitely go back.
Absolutely appalled and disgusted by the way we were treated before and during our wedding by the owner Allison. This is a very cute winery set in a farming area of Abbotsford. The staff were nice, as was the owner David, but after our experience I am sure they are the reason for any positive reviews. We went out for a tasting and sat down with Allison to discuss having our 7 person wedding. She offered to let us have our wedding there in exchange for purchasing 3 cases of mixed varietal wines (over $1,100). I asked if we could pick our wines and she said yes. From that point on communication was challenging and unprofessional. 10 days before the wedding I sent Allison a list of 5 different types of wine, 2 of which we wanted 12 of each. She responded to that email saying we agreed to mixed varietal wine and I responded "Sorry I thought we were allowed to pick, so 4 bottles of the red blend in each box and 4 bottles of the petite Milo in another box, with the additional mixed throughout. We were not looking for case prices, those were just our preferred wines.” Her response was “Hello Kimberly, Thank you. Will get these packs ready. Hopeful to chat before the actual date. Thanks again. Sincerely, AllisonZ". Then two days before the wedding I texted Allison and I got no response, so I called her the day before the wedding. The conversation started nicely and turned quickly after we disagreed with the wine we were purchasing. Allison said they put 6 or 7 of each of the 5 types of wine throughout the boxes. I said that wasn’t what we agreed to and she started to lecture me about how much it costs to produce their wine and that she was being very generous (despite saying the cost to produce was half the price per bottle). Her tone was rude and aggressive and at this point I just agreed to the wine she packaged. I told her I did not want to argue, and she immediately said that sounds exactly like what you are trying to do. At this point I am in tears and I let her know some of our personal issues with our special needs son, etc., hoping she would understand a bride would naturally be a little stressed before her wedding, but that there were a lot more factors for us. Her response was cold and all she said was that everyone has issues. She continued to talk rudely to me, and I finally just asked for a total for the wine. She then reminded me how generous she is and said she was going to give a 15% discount out of her generosity. I thanked her for her generosity, and we left it at that. A few minutes later she called me back and said that they would do the options we wanted, but there would be no discount. I agreed and then she made multiple comments about how we all need to be off the property by 1:00pm and everything needs to be back the way it was (10:00am start). I agreed saying that was plenty of time and apologized about our earlier discussion in the hopes to smooth everything over. Wedding day arrives and Allison has decided to join the person she said she had to hire during our ceremony to be there to make charcuterie plates. They chose to do this during our 16-minute ceremony! In the ceremony video, during our vows you can hear them ripping Saran Wrap and it is hard to hear the vows on our recording because of this. The rest of our time there she sat with her back to us, not saying a word on her phone. It was very obvious she purposefully was trying to affect our day. We ignored her childish behaviour and had a great day despite. When we were leaving we said goodbye and thank you and she did not turn around nor say a word. I just cannot imagine why someone would try to ruin such an important day in someone’s life over how many of each type of wine were in a box. They were closed during the time we were there, minus the one hour, but no one came for a tasting as we were taking photos up by the tasting room and could see, so they made over $500 and Allison treated us poorly for what? All they did was open the room and allow us to take pictures, nothing was provided.
Seaside Pearl is a must visit in the Fraser Valley. Allison and David, the winery owners, graciously share their passion for wine and the beautiful product that they make. Their wines are not only incredible, but coupled with their kindness, beautiful spirits, and passion makes for an experience that you will not forget. Going for a visit to Seaside is like visiting with a good friend. I can’t say enough about this place. Do yourself a favour and check it out!
I was able to savor each wine as it was poured! They also gave wonderful background information about the wine that gave us a better understanding. It is truly a prescious Pearl of a winery!
