Sons of Kent is great if you love beer, but a few other options would be nice, such as more diet pop options. The kitchen closed at 7:45pm so I wasn't able to order food, but snacks were available.

I had been here once before and had the same great experience the second time. Great selection of beer, if you're not sure which one you would enjoy opt for a flight of beer for $11.30 I believe. You get to taste 4 of the beers of your choosing. Menu is not hugez but you're there for the beer! Everything I've eaten here has been fantastic. On this trip I had the Reuben sandwich - very filling and man was it tasty. One note - you need to go to the bar to order and if you're planning on getting some brews to take home or some of their great merchandise (hats, t-shirts, sweaters, glassware etc.) Let them know that you're planning on paying for everything at the end. If you're looking for a casual Saturday or a nice first date spot I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great craft beer. Unpasteurized and a flavor for all from lagers to sours to stouts. These people take their craft seriously. The food might be better. Local fresh tasty. Some great pairing like sausage and pretzel. One of our favorites with a nice sour.

The beer is next level fantastic. Spirit Wolf was inspired, Coco B-Ware with coconut a masterpiece, GN'R a stunning combination. You will be impressed, this is not just another brewpub stop. Make it a destination.

This place is definitely worth a visit. There's a pretty wide assortment of beer styles brewed by people with a passion for craft brews. Do a flight to find the beer that sings to you. A simple decor yet a very warm atmosphere. Cheers to delicious beers!

Great beer, great atmosphere, and great guys! The boys at Sons of Kent Brewing know their beer. With 8 brews on tap in their tasting room, they'll find a delicious beer for you that you'll enjoy even if you're not a big beer drinker. They did a great job on the renovation (the existing building was the old local cinema) and turned the old building into an awesome destination. The inside is beautiful, all wood finished and has a great vibe. Definitely looking forward to the patio in the Summer months!

I went once, the beer flight was great, The food was very tasty. Beer was cheap but the food isnt , but worth it in flavor. Would recommend definatly , bring a date its pretty fancy yet laid back.

Sons of Kent is located in a gorgeous building that is full of character and features great service along with their famous brews. The variety on tap is always impressive and they also offer an excellent array of food items readily available to order. This is the perfect location to catch up with friends and enjoy beer flight. I visit from London and it’s well worth the drive.

I will never go back. The beer is good but the service is awful. We ordered food and 30 minutes later we asked for the status on it the staff then informed us the staff whom took our order never sent to the kitchen. Then 15 minutes later we still didn't bring it out or could give us an estimate. We asked for a refund. The staff than became rude and verbally combative. They then were talking about us in front of other customers. No one ever appologized for the mistake.

I was super impressed with everything about this establishment. Driving though the small town, I was not sure what to expect. However, pretty much everything across the board met, or exceeded, my expectations. Each beer we sampled was of very high quality, the food was fantastic, and the servers, owners (even owner's family) were helpful and beyond kind. If I ever find my way to this side of the country again, will definitely come back. The 1792 and Back Forty beers were standouts, along with the Reuben sandwich.

I delivered a cooler for Doug at Kent Brewing Company. On the way out they offered us some beers to take home. He gave us a a nice selection to try out. He showed us which beers have won awards. I could see the passion and pride they have in their brewery. Beers tasted delicious. My favourite hands down is the "Dont Panic" Oatmeal Stout. Thanks Doug!

Always love visiting Sons of Kent. They make great beer and have some awesome food. Today was meant to be their last day of Octoberfest fun, but their very rainy weather put a damper on things. Still had a German kitchen menu and their festbier though! I'll be back soon for some tacos, they're one of my favourite local eats

Every Saturday they have a live band blaring horrible versions of songs rendering every backyard in the neighbourhood useless on the day you most likely would want to use it. First the government has me locked up and unable to entertain my friends and family at the house and now it's Sons of Kent. Thank for ruining my summer!

This place is a paradise! Besides the bar with a wide selection of their brews on offer, they have a counter for off-sales and merchandise. They offer tours of the brewery, and have plenty of seating to sit down, have a meal and taste more beer.

It was their Oktoberfest celebration this evening. Great outside set up with the bean bag toss, connect four, and a big version of Jenga. They also had live music for everyone to enjoy too. Only down side was when I went inside to buy merch with the potential of beer I was told as soon as I got in that I had 5 mins left to buy beer and any potential merch. I felt rushed a bit but other than that it was a great evening and an awesome atmosphere. Will be coming back.

Got in during the Superfly performance and was very impressed with the atmosphere while enjoying a delicious craft beer (I had the Spirit Wolf coffee infused brew). The music was only slightly too loud in the other room, making it difficult to hold a conversation. The door was run well as the tasting room never felt crowded. I appreciate this quite a lot actually.

Love having Sons of Kent in the city tons of beer options, something for everyone. They come out with new beer styles often as well. Great place to go play a board game during the week, but also has a livelier crowd near the end of the week and on weekends. Good music alway playing, sometimes live. They have space for private events. They also have super tasty food offerings at times.

Beer is good service is brutal. Took us forever to order a beer and even longer for our food to arrive. I'm actually still waiting for our food, not sure if it's even coming. Not interested in coming back! We had really high hopes for this place! Just found out our order didn't make it from the bar to the kitchen! We're getting refunded.

Came by today to check this brewery out. Being from Vancouver and a huge beer fan decided to grab a flat of assorted beers and I was very happy that I did. Flywheel lager was bright and crisp and had all the essence of an old style American lager, lo-fi key lime and sea salt had a nice bite to it and didn't finish to sweet which is what I had first anticipated. Juice box hazy IPA had a bold flavour with wonderful Citra notes. But my favorite was the spirit wolf coffee blonde, this was a very impressive collaboration of coffee and blonde lager , it reminded me of a favorite I buy back home but I think spirit wolf takes the win. Thanks for the great beer and look forward to trying what you have next time I'm in town.

We went in to try the beer sampling with the charcuterie which we ordered and at least a good half hour had passed and when I asked about it, the kitchen hadn't got the order, so we waited a bit again and I just requested my money be returned at which time she said they were working on it. I went back to the bar and received my refund and the young lady came out to us with our order in a take out container. I said no, I have my money and she wanted me to take it for free at which time I said no. We came for the experience of beer and food. We had consumed the beer which was good but I refused the take out food. I did not go to get something for free. I truly was not impressed.

Beer was great! Menu had potential, however not vegetarian friendly. They weren't able to substitute options, or think out of the box. I wanted the pretzel and cheese sauce, a brewery house staple, but it wasn't available without the sausage. Hopefully they rethink their menu and options.

The beer is delicious, the atmosphere was nice but I will not go back because of the service. We waited over 40 minutes for food and when we said something they said they forgot to put the order in. Instead of being apologetic all we got was attitude from the staff. It took the manager coming out for us to get a refund.
