BEST SERVICE ANYWHERE! It has been literally ages since I have had service as good as it is here! The staff really do go a step beyond each and everytime my wife and I have been here. Amazing! What an absolute joke. I’m fully vaccinated, my partner is not. We asked for an outdoor patio seat. They have an extremely large outdoor area, and one of the areas was the size of a football field with not a single patron. I offered to come in and waitress myself, so that zero contact would come in with my partner and their staff or other patrons. I was told outdoor and indoor required vaccination regardless. When I asked if we could just both come in to shop and purchase wine- it was no probleM!!! HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?!?!!

Customer service definitely needs improvement. We visited on a weekday and had to wait to be served. The hostess was so busy that we did not get acknowledged. We were interested in wine tasting, and did not have a reservation. They treated us poorly, asking us to stand in one corner. We left and went next door to Crew which offered a much better experience

Our experience in how our seating request was handled was a disappointment. After requesting an unoccupied seat in the sun, we were told the section was not open and it would be 15 minutes before a server would be able to provide service to that table. No sooner were we seated at a different location when a couple following after us were promptly seated and served at the same spot we were refused to be seated. We pointed this out and were told a very uncaring “things happen”. Well, “reviews happen” too!! There are wineries in the area that provide superior dining experiences. Will go elsewhere next time.

We come here semi-regularly and are never disappointed with the food and service. We recently held a baby shower in their upstairs venue and we were not disappointed. The decor was simple and tasteful, room was set up to how we needed it, there is a private bathroom which is nice. Sandra our server was amazing, she was so helpful and attentive. It would have been nice to be able to choose a couple lunch options for our guests but our chosen meal was delicious. Price is a tad on the high side, but a nice treat in a beautiful setting. I will be going there again the next time I am in the area.

This was our first visit. The tasting and dining area inside was nice and bright. We had a lovely lunch in the sunshine on the terrace. Brook was our server and she had excellent suggestions and was very helpful and attentive. Started with the white tasting flight. Would definitely recommend the Auxerrois or Riesling. They had a fire going and the slight scent of wood smoke and pretty flowers on the table really added to the meal. We had the charcuterie board and sticky duck wings. You have to get the wings! Seriously! Lovely attention to detail(sugared chilis) and melding flavors. Great cheese selection on the charcuterie board - Five Brothers is lovely. The bee pollen was a fun touch, I just worry most people won't eat it all and that's such a waste. Desert was incredible. When she said chocolate and grapefruit I thought that doesn't seem remotely delicious but it sounded strange and therefore necessary to try. I was absolutely wrong! Chocolate and grapefruit and mint and olive oil should always be put together. Don't foolishly assume you know that it can't work. The chef clearly knows! All in all it was a truly wonderful food experience and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The price was exactly right, you are getting excellent food, its worth it. And the coffee was good too and they didn't serve yucky tap water. Good job you Oxley for knowing good water and coffee show you actually really care about the whole meal experience. And the bathrooms were beautiful and immaculate. Also a big deal. Thank you all for making it such a great first experience and lunch. We are coming back.

Beautiful atmosphere. In the summer they have live music. In the fall the colors around are so gorgeous. They have a nice outdoor fireplace. Inside the decor is a nice contemporary design. The food is plated beautifully however some dishes lack flavor. Best of all the wine tasting is great with so many wonderful bold and flavorful wines for every palate. Highly recommend.

This was the first of many stops on our stay in Essex County, and it was the perfect place to begin our great wine tasting adventure! We were able to taste 8 different wines with their generous flights, while enjoying the day on their beautiful patio. Our favourite from the tasting was the Bianca, and we also decided to take home a bottle of the Wowza (which we didn't try but came highly recommended).

Amazing just amazing. Food amazing, service amazing and of course the wine is amazing. Went there for my 30th birthday with 8 other women. We were treated like gold. The server Sandra went out of her way to give us a great experience. She brought the heaters over to our table and even made sure to bring us blankets if we were cold. She made sure to wish me a happy birthday a number of times. After our meal we left and forgot our bottle of wine we purchased. Went back for it and of course someone snagged it. When we told her she didn't even hesitate to make sure we left with a a new bottle she comp'd. Out of all the wineries this was the most superb service we received. Thanks to Sandra and the rest of the staff we had a great time and will make this a new committed visit regularly from me and all my friends. Thanks Sandra!

This beautiful building seems to have it all. Upon arrival, I couldn’t take my eyes away from the beautiful fall garden and then the building itself. This stop offers a scenic outdoor patio which was where everyone seemed to be. Indoors, I enjoyed several of the wines at Oxley, including the Cabernet Franc and the Reisling.

Ordered the charcuteria board. Was very disappointed with the few slices of meat, a little cluster of grapes, such a small portion more like small samples of cheese for $30 definitely not worth it. I totally understand that it's not meant to be a meal but it came well short of an appetizer. Could have been much more generous, there was much more space on the board than what was filled. Asked the waitress different basic questions where she had to constantly go back and find out... We never did find out how much a dessert was we asked about.

Nancy was a great server & Kristy was knowledgeable and helpful. The food (perch, cold cuts & cheeses) were amazing and filling - we ordered 3 dishes but were enough for 4 (3 adults & 1 ten year old). The dessert was awesome (will be going back for more dessert for sure) and we took pickles, wine bottles and some other things that were on sale, home. Will visit again in summer & preferably on a long weekend!!

I'm giving this a 2 because I like their wine and can only get it at the winery. Today I visited Oxley Winery, they took my temperature, my name, my phone number just to shop in the store. Then as I am looking around , the cooks have their masks on their chins while cooking and some servers have their masks below their noses. I'm all for it if everyone follows the rules but this over cautious entrance to the shop was unnecessary if the staff is not following covid guidelines.

What an experience! We walked into live music, beautiful setting and a packed house (a usual for them over the summer weekends). Everybody was all smiles! Definitely a place to be on a nice summer day. We indulged in a delicious cheese board and some wine! They take pride in making everything in house including pickled veggies and delicious mustard!

Very happy with our dinner here. Beautiful setting with large outdoor tents around the main building of the winery. Great live band playing the night we were there, which was surprisingly busy for a Monday night. However, service was still excellent, with an attentive server and a nice relaxing and accommodating pace to dinner. The food was also very, very good. The pork shoulder in particular was phenomenal. The prime rib was a bit overdone, but it didn't compromise the taste of the dish. Appetizers were also excellent, unique and tasty. We we're unfortunately too full for desert. We definitely plan on going back to sample other things on the menu.

Staff helped us find a great spot to go for dinner (they were closed for dinner for the season), and they put the price of the tasting toward the bottles we bought. Would come again, especially for some of the special events they host during summer months.

I love getting appetizers with wine on a nice summer day. Unfortunately we tried dinner and waited almost three hours for our meals. Ironically the venue had asked for our order a day in advance so I'm not sure what happened there.

A friend and myself visit this winery for a tasting and to purchase a few bottles of wine. After we finished our tasting, we went inside to purchase wine (which is where we were told by our server that we can pay for wine) the owner inside did not greet us but instead bluntly told us we were not allowed inside, we told her we finished our tasting and simply wanted to pay yet she rudely interrupted us as we were explaining that to her and told us where the exit is. We reiterated that we simply wanted to pay for our tasting and we were told to come here and she told us to go to the tasting tent to find someone else to help us. Aside from the rude owner, the wine also wasn’t anything special. We did not end up purchasing any of their wine. Overall, would not recommend trying this winery. There are better wineries just down the road that had nicer wines with friendly and helpful customer service.

This winery has a very inviting atmosphere. The patio is pretty and they have a great selection on the menu. We ordered the lake Erie perch and unfortunately had a poor experience. The charcuterie board was excellent. Unfortunately our fish was overcooked as were the french fries. Would definitely give them a second chance as the service was very good.

We went to Oxley for lunch. We were impressed from the moment we drove in. The crushed gravel drive and pathways are charming and make you feel like you are out for the afternoon in the country side (which you are!). We loved the landscaping in the gardens and the quaint patio where they serve lunch/dinner. The tasting building was beautifully designed with warm wood that really fits the location (instead of trying to replicate other wine regions). We enjoyed one of the best meals in recent memory at the restaurant. Our server Chloe was attentive and pleasant. The food was very flavourful with fresh ingredients. We felt it was good value for the quality and creativity. We also enjoyed the wine, particularly the Chardonnay and the rosé. To us, Oxley has the whole package and is a must visit on the Erie shore for food and drink

I love this winery! Beautiful place, friendly staff, great wine and amazing food! We had our wedding at Oxley in June and everything was great, they really made sure everything would run smooth on our special day. And what a stunnig location for a wedding! We got a lot of compliments from our guests. I would absolutely recommend this place for intimate wedding, lunch/dinner or wine tasting. We will definitely come back to enjoy the wine and food again! (At least for every anniversary but hopefully for other events too and just for fun.)

Wow!! Went for lunch with my husband. Food was amazing. The burger is definitely my favorite burger now. Oysters were spot on. Those duck wings I could eat all day. If you are looking at reviews before heading to this winery make sure you change your address settings to be sure it lists Oxley Winery as HWY 50 EAST not WEST. You don't want to miss out on this winery. Not just a winery...this is a destination for more than just a tasting! I've gone several times and enjoyed every experience. I chose the Red Ripper as my wine for the evening after our wine tasting served table side. (we had arrived for dinner however a bit late for the regular wine tasting served at the wine bar before 6pm) Sandra was our server! Wow amazing! We enjoyed a chacuterie board, biscuits, soup, spring salad and Sirloin. All were delicious, well presented and offering only the best ingredients. The biscuits served with burnt butter and house preserves were a wonderful surprise, delightful and a favourite for us of the 4 appetizers we ordered. The wine tasting area is well organized and they truly enjoy giving you a great wine tasting experience....even if full. The don't miss a beat in their description. They are open to questions and their enthusiasm for the Winery history and future makes you fall in love with everything about the Winery! The indoor area and outdoor area are gorgeous. They thought of everything... offering outdoor areas to sit that are quaint and private, live music some days/evenings in the warmer weather. They also have a beautiful massive fireplace outside that you can enjoy while dining and offering chairs and blankets in front of the fireplace where you can sit and enjoy the fire after dining. Extremely great service...top notch. Dining is a wonderful experience with the servers exceptionally polite and service driven. Not only is the experience, setting and wine great the service goes over and beyond offering the whole package truly making this winery a stop you don't want to miss!

We visited 6 wineries on Oct 14th, and this was by far the best. Very good Covid 19 protocols, only winery to serve water and wave tasting fee with purchase. Also the wine was very good and reasonably priced.
