My friends were treated so poorly over the course of planning and experiencing their wedding. Yes, I understand COVID has made things difficult, but calling the bride hours before the wedding saying she will need to pay more for last minute things is absolutely unacceptable. This, among other reasons had lead to the most stressful and disheartening time in her life, instead of leaving her with awe and excitement for her wedding day. Shame.

My husband and I went to Mastronardi a few years ago to look at the venue for our wedding, PRE COVID!!! I am a makeup artist, so I am very immersed in the wedding scene here in Windsor/Essex county, and I have honestly never met a more pushy, rude and unprofessional woman in my life. From the moment we arrived, Eadie treated us like a number, nothing but dollar signs. She did not see human beings, only money. She was not warm or inviting, or even kind at first. It was just all business as soon as we met, and I get that yes, this is her form of income, but a little kindness and personality would go a long way. We were interested in this venue because it claimed to accommodate ALL budgets, but sadly that is an absolutely LIE! The moment we sat down to talk details, she was all money! Any excuse to charge us more, and she would. We told her what we wanted with our decor, and she straight up said to us “that’s outdated, you don’t want that” and then tried to convince us to do something we did not want, because it would be more expensive. My now husband and I were just completely floored by this experience, and just disgusted with the lack of care or consideration for couples, and we are very happy we did not sign any contracts with her. Since then, I have been hearing absolute horror stories from endless brides of mine, as well as others, about how rude Eadie is and how she only cares about money and ripping people off. More recently, I have been even more disgusted with hearing about all of these poor covid brides, and what Eadie has been doing to them. Instead of being helpful during a really hard time, when these couples have had no choice but change dates, instead of being helpful, she is using this opportunity to take advantage of these poor couples. Not sticking to her contracts, last minute hidden fees that were not agreed upon, cancelling weddings at the last second without helping to accommodate something else in the future and KEEPING the couple’s money even though SHE is the one cancelling, being rude to wedding guests as well as the bride and groom!! It’s APPALLING AND OUTRAGEOUS!!!! If you have gotten this far in my review, I guarantee there are plenty of wineries in the county that are more affordable, much more beautiful, better wine, and nicer owners! As someone in the wedding industry, this is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

Our experience started off positive with the look of the actual winery and hall (for our wedding) being really nice. The horrible part was dealing with Eadie. She was incredibly pushy and not accommodating to my wife's ideas at ALL. Her priority is to get as much money off of you as possible then push you out of the door. We found her very unprofessional as well because she would talk mockingly about other couples to us and I'm sure she did the same thing to us behind our backs. My only regret is that I cannot give negative stars on this review. Steer clear of this place at all costs.

If you're looking for an venue that requires no hassle, no stress, this is the place to book! Gavin and I got married on July 9th 2021. With many postponements and date changes, Eadie was accommodating through it all. It was a wonderful night. Eadie and Laura were both amazing to work with, and paid very close attention to detail. Chef Don's food was amazing that night, and even the next day! ( Yum leftovers) We truly can't say enough good things about Mastronardi's, you're not just booking a venue, you're booking a whole experience.

Mastronardi has a great selection of wines - from their blended varieties to the more refined bottles. I enjoyed tasting from the bottles we purchased and look forward to trying more. Mastronardi’s venue itself looks very sophisticated and I would recommend it to anyone looking to host a special event in the area.

I just had my wedding at Mastronardi and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It was the most beautiful, perfect day - not to mention stress-free! I didn't have to worry about a single thing because I knew the entire team was on top of it! Eadie, Laura & Jordyn were amazing at organizing, coordinating and creating my vision to a tee! It was the most stress free and amazing experience - from the first meeting to the wedding day it was so much fun! Chef's food was a hit! Everyone raved about the appetizers, entrees & dessert provided. DJ Joe was also amazing! The dance floor was full all night long and the play list was incredible. We had such a blast! Even at the end of the wedding, their team packed up all the leftovers, cleared our personal belongings (pictures, etc) very quickly and kindly loaded it all up in the car for us! I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you so all much!!

Mastronardi Estate was a very adorable winery. I went there thinking that we would be walking into a larger wine tasting area but quickly found out that wasn't the case. Instead, the winery offered a very unique feeling by presenting gorgeous stone artwork throughout the entire area. The server was really kind and the menu is really easy to follow. Most of the wines that I tasted were great but not all were meant for me. I would definitely come back.

We cane from Niagara wine country. We know all about Covid. No reason for her to be dismissive. We told her our wine choices and told to go find a table outside. Very easy to find a table since we were the only 2 there. She came out and put our wine board in front of us. We tried to have a Conversation regarding the winery she answered and walked back in the building. We were left with a piece of paper that told us what we were drinking no description and we didn’t even get the proper wines we ordered. Did not see her again. We left with our wine still in the plastic glasses. Not drinkable

Your wedding is supposed to be your special day and your most memorable event. Do not tie your happy day to the ownership of this venue. The owner is very unprofessional, rude, and petty. Don't take my word for it though, just read her responses to other people's negative reviews. This will give you a window into the type of person that you will be dealing with when planning your wedding. What others are saying about her is completely accurate.

I was recently part of a wedding and so disappointed in the way my friends were treated. Instead of being “stress free”, their entire planning was very stressful. On top of the pandemic they also had to deal with a wedding coordinator who severely lacked in interpersonal skills. The bride was never put first. Extra fees were constantly being added up until a few hours before the wedding due to weather. I would strongly advise future couples to look elsewhere.

I just experience the most amazing day of my life at Mastronardi Estate Winery. The team was friendly and organized making us feel safe and welcome. I have been to many weddings and this was by far the best event I have attended. I huge thank you to the Mastronardi for making all the guest feel welcome. Our daughter and son-in-law celebrated their wedding on November 9, 2019 at Mastronardi Estate Winery. Everything was perfect. The venue is exquisite. The decor, the place setting, the flowing background drapery, the lighting, the centerpieces added to the elegance of the venue and event. Kudos to the chef! The appetizers and the meal were superb. Our guests raved about the entire evening. As my husband indicated, having a wedding at Mastronardi' s is like going on an all inclusive vacation. They do it all for you. Thank you Eadie and Laura for a fabulous and memorable wedding.

BRIDES please keep other options open!! Worst experience of my life! Your wedding is supposed to be the most beautiful day of your life. Unfortunately having my wedding at mastronardi's was not that experience at all. Not only was the arbor I paid for changed the day of without even speaking to me about it, I got the luxury of realizing the ugly piece I did not pay for while walking down the aisle (which I have no pictures hungup of our ceremony due to how ugly the arbor was) . After we paid for the wedding we were treated as a burden. Our guests were made to feel very unwelcome and were appalled with the staffs behavior & how much the hospitality almost completely disappeared after dinner .The DJ they said was absolutely amazing, that they ridiculously overpriced me for only played 6 songs which were the ones during my ceremony. None of the other songs we took months to build our wedding Playlist were played. There were important songs that were missed due to "not being able to find my Playlist" my bridesmaid had to argue with the staff to print my songs out which only were found less then an hr before my wedding was over. The venue may have been beautiful & food was absolutely incredible. But my entire experience was completely ruined by how unprofessional & how careless they were! I would highly suggest looking else where for your special day if you would like to look back and remember how beautiful it was , Sadly I can't say the same about the experience they gave for our wedding

Beautiful winery. We were greeted right as we got off our tour bus and passed a glass of wine as soon as we entered. Wonderful place, the wine was excellent. I enjoyed so many different wines both white and red. The tour was done by the wine maker himself which made the experience very personal.

WHOA..... Ok, I recently began searching for a wedding venue and after reading how ownership responds to negative feedback, I think I'll look elsewhere. It seems like ownership takes the stance of "I'm sorry that this is your version of events" or "How could you stoop so low to criticize my venue if you are also in the wedding industry." What a sad and petty attempt to discredit critical feedback. In one review they even say "Why are you hiding behind a fake name?" Immaturity reminiscent of the way a petulant teenager would take criticism. I think my fiance and I dodged a bullet here judging by how management seems to bully people in the comments section! Thank you everyone for helping me avoid ruining our experience by going with this place and I'm sorry that your experiences went so horribly. My fiance's jaw dropped when I showed him the responses to these customers reviews.....Noone deserves that.

Two weeks ago, my husband and I attended an outdoor Wedding at Mastronardi Estate Winery, and it was absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed how organized and friendly the staff was upon arrival. The grounds are breathtaking, I felt like I was on vacation in Europe. Their Pinot Grigio was fantastic, perfect for a summer day. When we arrived I met the owner, Edie, who was so kind greeting guests and attending to every detail with her staff. The décor and venue were world class, breathtaking. Ohh the food and service, LOVE! The server took note of my favorite wine choice and brought it to the table to save my feet, later in evening. ;-) I turn 50 next year and would love to have a celebration there myself. It will certainly be added to my favorite spots in our region. I cannot believe this was my first visit to this incredible gem in our region. My heart goes out to all our local businesses during this Covid time. I hope the worst of Covid is behind us and we stay open as I cannot wait to return to Mastronardi again for another event or just with a small group. Thank you Mastronardi for such an amazing memory! You deserve top marks and ratings.

We had our wedding at Mastronardi Estate Winery on 10/10/2020 and to call it perfect Is still an understatement! From the minute we started dealing we Eadie and Laura Meaghan and I knew we were in great hands. We started out planning a 250+ guest wedding and then COVID-19 hit, didn’t matter though! Eadie and Laura helped us switch gears and made sure our wedding was still going to happen on our date and it was everything we wanted. By them having backup plans in place and having an eye for key details the venue was better than we could ever imagine. By having it outside in the vines it became a destination wedding in our own backyard. The out-door tent was decorated and transformed into a one-of-a-kind fairytale rustic niche atmosphere that our guests are still talking about it months later. The flowers, tables and decorations brought in were incredible, passing all our expectations. Dealing with the 2 of them makes the entire day stress-free, when you first arrive Eadie and Laura are there to greet you at the front door and let you know what is going on. They line up the entire bridal party and make sure everyone is ready for the big moment, as they send each member down it becomes a build-up for when my beautiful bride turns that corner and I see her walking past all the grapevines and guests towards me. When we went for photos our guests were treated to an amazing array of appetizers and drinks thanks to the wonderful wait staff of Chef Don. As sunset fell, we continued inside our tent with a meal second to none when it comes to Windsor hall food. Our guests rave just how wonderful the meal was and how they have never experienced a meal like that in any Windsor hall before. Even though our wedding was not the 250 plus guest list we originally wanted thanks to the entire Mastronardi team it was the wedding we always dreamed of, we were happier to have this wedding than the original one and because of Eadie and Laura, it was an amazing stress-free wedding of a lifetime. Thank you again to the two of you and the wonderful Mastronardi staff.

Elegant venue, excellant food and service, lots of parking, only bad thing was the noise level. Had to yell to be heard by person 3' away, due to hard surfaces including metal ceilings. Noise was not just from band, as when they stopped playing it was still extreamly loud from conversations. Difficult to enjoy ouselves when we could not hold a conversation. I would give them 5 stars if they would improve the accoustics. Take ear plugs if you're going, or turn down your hearing aids! Accoustic ceiling panels, etc. would reduce noise levels. Not a large expense and would increase likelyhood of customers recommending venue to others.

Wine was good, but the hospitality lacked organization or caring for a wedding. No orvanization, no hosting and after the ceremony, very rudely told everyone they had to leave immediately. It was almost like they resented us being there.
