I just come here for the 16L wine boxes, much cheaper than LCBO. They have a wine-tasting bar for the boxed wines. Highly reccomend.

Great wine, great price, great staff. In short, it's a great place. Their house wine tastes great and is really affordable. The house french blend is particularly good. I've used them to supply a work party, and their staff was super helpful in getting things organized. Love them.

Had previously purchased the 16L boxes at a different location but on my trip to ottawa i saw a magnotta was there and made plans to go. I headed to the tasting area and my partner and I told them we were each buying a box of wine. White for me, red for him. And for the $200+ they knew we were spending I was extremely surprised that they were not friendly, acted very rude and didnt have the knowledge of their products that I expected. We still purchased our 2 boxes but left dissapointed with the customer service.

It's a great place to start knowing more about wine in Ontario VQA, staff is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Open to answer as many questions as you have. Prices ranges from 8 CAD to 32 CAD, where premium wines start at ~20 CAD. They have many local varieties, and also an International series, those grapes are coming from abroad. The wine styles also are comprehensive, from sparkling: charmat and classic method to Passito Italian Styles, Ciders, apple-based wine, they are pretty versatile. And what I have tasted price/quality ratio is such a great option.

Super Economical Prices, Fantastic Selection, Helpful Staff! For wine aficionados, Magnotta is great alternative to the LCBO, with a vast selection of their Ontario VQA wines. Their pricing is considerably more affordable, offering local wines, international blends, large quantity wines, and home vinification kits. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, provide assistance immediately upon request, and operate a wine tasting bar where you can try almost anything in the store. My fiancee and I shop here at least once a month

Walked into the store asked the salesman to tell me about the wine i was interested in he tells me its a vinemakers secret, no problem moved on to ask if i can try it, he says no ( it is a freaking 7$ dollar wine bottle) what customer service is that, you should open a bottle especially since i mentioned that i was interested in buying a full case. Anyways i gave it two stars only because i was helped by another person who was alot more knowledgable and friendly. Will not be going back and Magnotta should look into hiring the right people to sell their product. Very bad experience.

Went to the Mississauga location today. From the second I walked in I got nothing but bad attitude from the 2 women working in the front. I then asked what juices they had available and the woman threw a list on the counter and said “what are you looking for?” I asked if they had Cabernet Franc, and she said “I’ll just tell you what we have in and you tell me what you want ok?” At this point she just rhymed off about 8 kinds as fast as she could. I don’t have a digital tape recorder in my head so I asked what about this one? to which she replied “I just told you what we have!” Some of the worst customer relations I’ve ever seen. My father used to deal with the Magnotta family for years but I’ll never spend another dime in there. Stay away from this place.

I completely agree with the other customer's rating and comments. I went there all the way from Mississauga North West, drove 27 kms to get there because they closed the Brampton location. It was the first time I went there instead of looking at Vin Bon from Brampton. BIG MISTAKE! As soon I got inside, I felt the woman was upset that I did not sanitize my hands. The tone was quite rude. It put me off and I went straight to the wine section to take my 16L Cab and left. I always buy 6 pales to get 1 free in July, but I will rethink about it may be it's not worth it anymore. Specially the price went up as well: $114.99 for 16L Cab. It was $104 recently. Bad experience, but I was already there and did not bother. But I will definitely not go there anymore.

Went there today to get a 16L box. The lady there was very cool and nice. I didn't realize but they have nice carts which allows ease to carry the large units. Great staff. Location was clean and welcoming to everyone. :)

I was really happy when I passed Magnotta wines and finally decided to stop in the store a few years ago! Greg, the assistant manager is always polite, friendly and helpful when I've been served by him. The wine is really good and the prices are great, especially for the house wines. After finding this gem, I rarely go to LCBO anymore to buy wine. I often recommend Magnotta to my friends and co-workers. Also the Kurtzie's salami they sell is really tasty, the best I've ever eaten.
