Decor was unique. Coconut Shrimp was excellent and Fish Taco was ok. They were not the best I've had but enjoyable all the same. The wait staff did a wonderful job. I'd visit again.

The fish and chips were massive. I could not eat them all. The first piece of fish was really good. The second piece was to soggy but I just took off the batter and ate the fish. I could not finish my meal. So much food. My daughter LOVED her caesar salad. My husband and son both had donair nachos. Generous helping and was extremely good with homemade kettle cooked chips.

I had the fish tacos and coconut shrimp. Shrimp was so tasty and crispy and the tacos were delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other menu items like the burgers etc.

A lovely spot, be sure to check it out. The staff are very sweet and enthusiastic. I enjoyed our dinner very much, shrimp tacos delish, bacon wrapped scallops yummy! Strawberry shortcake for dessert. Highly recommend this great spot! My only note would be better unique fries alongside the yummy food options.

Definitely the best restaurant on the island. The BBQ Bacon Burger is the best hamburger I’ve ever had, and the fries are delicious. They have great desserts, with a summer themed restaurant that fits the location perfectly. 10/10 in every way.

We go to Cavendish every year and was excited to try this place. It was very disappointing! We waited an hour for our food. nachos on kettle chips were dry and just not good. Waitress was sweet and friendly but wait time and food will discourage us from going back.

(Translated) Although located in a place that seems very "tourist trap" this restaurant has so pleasantly surprised us! First we had a great welcome from Annick our waitress and in French! Smiling and friendly, she offered us the house specialties. So we had the seafood pizza along with the beet salad and seafood pasta. Without a doubt the best meal of all PEI we have had! Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience and Annick for this wonderful service. Premièrement nous avons eu un super accueil de Annick notre serveuse et en français! Souriante et sympathique, elle nous a proposé les spécialités de la maison. Nous avons donc mangé la pizza au fruit de mer ainsi que la salade de betteraves et les pâtes au fruit de mer. Sans aucun doute le meilleur repas de tout PEI que nous avons eu! Great place to eat for a nice, light lunch or casual dinner in Cavendish. Their menu selection is amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I shared the seafood platter with my wife and we were impressed!

Ships Company definitely has the best and biggest Fish & Chips on the Island and my husband has tried most of them. We have found most fish & chips restaurants are highly over-rated here though I won't mention any names. Most are greasy and nothing to write home about. This is not that. This huge 2 full filet portion is lightly battered, non-greasy, and very fresh. I would recommend splitting it. And make sure you get some of their cinnamon sugar donut bites with caramel drizzle before you leave. My husband and I determined our first time there that these were worth the drive all by themselves! The downfall of this restaurant is the really uncomfortable seating. The wooden benches inside, the hard chairs, and the picnic tables outside make it hard to really relax and enjoy the good food. I hope that they will invest in some decent seating.

Food is amazing and fresh, great wait staff and themed restaurant, only downside was most of the chairs inside did not have any cushion which made it quite uncomfortable however they moved us to seating that did with no problem.

First visit to the fairly new restaurant. The setting is nice, right in the middle of Cavendish's busiest tourist section. There are many unique food choices on the menu. The portions were large and filling. Fish chips were top notch. A very large patio with lots of shade and sun.

Service was great. Noticed wait staff were very attentive to their respective customers and helped their coworkers with their tables when opportunity allowed. Partner really enjoyed their food. A seafood dish. My chicken wrap was good. Would have preferred grilled chicken. Battered seemed to be the only option. But overall tasty. Also, I didn't not request grilled. Salad choices were good. Cesar salad was yummy as well as the other salad (I think it had dark leafy greens and cranberry, etc). Touristy Atmosphere One large open room with bar and many tables. Some bench seating along the perimeter. Not too busy. Food arrived timely. Drinks were refilled promptly. Merch available. Friendly, casual vibe.

We ate here on the last day of our vacation and we wished we had eaten here on the first day so we could come back again. The food was exceptional. We felt there was good value for what we paid. We had the steak sandwich, scallop burger, lobster mac and cheese, bacon wrapped scallops, and my favourite (yep, I tasted them all), the seafood pasta. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed, no matter what you order.

Very good bet here. Something fir everyone including Kids menu. Shrimp tacos were good but not spicy as stated in menu. Seafood pasta very tasty but a lot of sauce. Thai bowl and fish tacos were very good options. Can get busy since close to all Cavendish activities so reserve ahead. Both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Hostess was borderline rude. Young blonde girl who didn't seem happy to seat us. Waitress was friendly and helpful, food was delicious. Best coconut shrimp ever. Maybe the hostess was just having a bad day but it was a very uncomfortable first impression. Otherwise, decent experience!

Went here on a very busy evening. There was no waiting time, we got the seat right away, but food took some time to arrive. However, it was worth waiting for. Kudos to the team- servers, hostess and the cooks. Everyone was so welcoming. The ambience was great. Patio option is available. There are 3 vegetarian options on main course menu. Worth visiting. Highly recommended if you are in and around Cavendish.
