Everyone knows I LUV Pizza and Wine and Bergeron Estates Winery did NOT disappoint! David Bergeron is a winemake who also went back to school to become an accredited Sommelier and his knowledge speaks volumes when he is leading you on a tasting of his wines. I'm not an expert in any way but really enjoyed tasting his Riesling/Vidal Blend (VERY refreshing) and then some Gamay which paired perfectly with his "Nonna's" pizza ... thin crispy crust and fresh toppings made this a winner! An added bonus here is his hard apple cider. Not for me (hey, I LUV Wine) but my son really enjoyed it and brought some back to Ottawa! It's one of his big sellers and apple orchards are all around here. Nestled on Lake Ontario just a short drive from Kingston, this winery is a must see!

I'm on a cycle tour with my husband and three children 6 and under. We ran out of water a few kilometers before Bergeron Estate Winery. We decided to stop there, and we are very glad that we did. David was incredibly helpful and hospitable. He gave the children water an juice, and we were even able to pitch tents on his property to give the kids a daytime rest before heading off again. We decided to try his hand-made pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The wine that accompanied it was delightful as well. We highly recommend Bergeron Estate Winery. Never had such rude service. Called to order a pizza. No one answered. We get there they were open. We were the only customers there. We wandered around the shop found some cider we wanted to buy then a woman greeted by saying ("what do you want...") and the woman rolls her eyes. Well we said nothing now thanks and have a good day.

A must have stop on your wine tour of the PEC and Napanee region. The winery is on the most scenic area of land overlooking the lake at the far end. The ‘Nona’s’ pizza is SO good and the wines are delicious, my favourites were the Chardonnay and the Cab Franc. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area, ask about their cozy little air bnb. Beautiful winery, super friendly and lovely owners!

A poster was recently put up on the notice board in our sub division advertising takeaway pizza. Last we decided to order one and it was absolutely amazing and only 10 minutes down the road. Really nice meeting and chatting to the owner Dave. Will definitely be ordering again and will also get some wine and cider next time. Can’t wait to be able to go and sit there for wine tasting session!

Hi this is David Just responding to Alexander A. We have tap water which is free and our cost for bottled water is $2.50 mainly to try and encourage tap water. $5 would be for two waters ,$30 For pizza tells me it was large including tax. This was another fun discovery along highway 33 on our way to the boat crossing. It was a very pleasant experience with a great host who made an amazing delicious pizza. The wines were excellent as was the cider. The seating area was comfortable with a soothing view of the vineyards. We will definitely pay another visit next time! ????????

As designated driver on this particular road trip, I did not sample the wines, but did taste the pizza - which was divine! Had a great time chatting with the owner David, and John, while taking in the views and soaking in the sunshine! We brought some wine and cider home to enjoy!

Awful. You have been forewarned. Not sure what these other reviewers were drinking or experienced. First winery after getting off the ferry and it is NOT worth crossing for. Server had 0 knowledge. But in all honesty, nothing had to be said...Swill. Sorry, you guys (Bergeron) really have to rethink/rework this. Would get 0 stars if I could.

Always a Great Place to drop in. Great owners and staff. Oh, the Wine is really good too. No words for thier Cider, except to ask when the next batch will be bottled.

The owner David is very kind and makes you feel like his guest from the get go. Maybe too much like his personal guest, as he offers you drinks and food, rides and entertainment with no mention to price. You just kind of nod in acceptance until you are hit with a bill much larger than expected. And that’s my criticism here: prices should be transparent to clients and clients should know the cost of something before deciding. But here you are not sure if something is on the house or not and I am not sure if it is David’s strategy but you feel embarrassed to ask at every turn how much is this and how much is that. Reader you are forewarned: nothing is on the house. This place is not cheap either. And in our case the bill was wrong as we were charged for things we did not even get. Other than that the pizza is ok, the wine is too “young” to say it diplomatically.

We stopped in here for a quick wine and cider tasting, well in the area for a Thanksgiving weekend in the country. David was engaging and hospitable, and went out of his way to make our kids feel at home. He even let them label some wine bottles. he was able to give us a little bit of a background of the area, as well as some background on his wines. I would recommend you stop in if you're in the area.
