Had such an amazing meal, service was also amazing and managed so well from a social distance perspective too!

Tony De Franco

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon here! Started with a wine tasting and discovered the most delicious sparkling wine ever. Then did the 5-course tasting menu at the resto. The food and service were top-notch!

Rocio González Ruíz

Lovely experience. ????????

This place is visually stunning. The outside and inside are absolutely upscale and visually appealing. The prices are great and I would highly recommend the wine tours and dinner for a date night. The wine here is also phenomenal. The staff and service members are the ones that uphold this place, they all deserve a raise for making my experience here so wonderful.

Canuck

Nice little tour of the winery and a delightful sampling of the wines produced there. Worth the visit

David Gauthier-Roy

We took the tour with Geoff. It was nice and interesting. Wine was good and, overall, we had a good time with friends.

Michelle C.

Beautiful landscape, classy decor and delicious wines; however, I was disappointed with the tasting service. Didn’t have the opportunity to learn about their wines as the male server was MIA after serving the first tasting of our flight (without any explanation) although the tasting counter was not busy.

Chantel Plantery

This place is amazing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, tastings are very reasonably priced and the ice lounge tour is fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

Hayden Chen

Such a bouquet winery - beautiful and sweet

Tory

The restaurant is good but too many flies.

We went as a group of 5 of us to Peller for a wine tour as a few of our group had never done one before. A few years ago my husband and I went for the same tour and we loved it then so we thought it would be perfect for our group. The front desk told us we had to be outside to the table for the start of our tour for 5:55pm because they start at 6pm sharp! We got to the table and our tour guide was nowhere to be seen. Being told it starts at 6pm sharp and leaving a rather large group standing waiting put a bad taste in our mouth. Finally about 6:10pm our tour guide arrived and said nothing about being late. The tour started out in the beautiful vineyard with a nice wine. The scenery was amazing. Then we made our way to the wine barrel room. Here our tour guide just tried to sell us the wine of the month club. I was expecting (like the last time we did this) was an explanation of how to properly look/taste each wine. Would have been beneficial for the members of our group who have never done this before. After this, we were taken to the ice room which was really cool to see but we were literally in there 3 mins before we had to get out. No parkas were given because of covid which was understandable. We would have liked a more indepth tour about the wine itself and tasting it properly instead of the sell, sell, sell part of it. Once we got back upstairs it ends in the gift/wine shop. We quickly said our goodbyes and bypassed that area as we no longer wanted to buy anything. Afterwards, we went to the grill for an app and drink. The staff there were great and the food came before the drink. The server said the bar was extremely slow that night. Overall 3/5 stars.

From help with reservations to service at dinner our experience was wonderful. The ice wine tasting in the 10 below ice lounge was fabulous. They continue to improve the experience for wine drinkers. We had a 5 course dinner with wine pairings and it was excellent. The attention to detail along with locally sourced food made it special. The sourdough bread was amazing!

Edvier Cabassa

What a great experience, beautiful place. The wines were delicious, loved the ice wines. Please do not miss this experience if you are visiting Niagara Falls!

My wife and I had brunch on Dec 23rd 2018. Our first time eating in the restaurant. She had the four course blind tasting with the paired wine. I had the five course blind tasting. Ashley was our waitress, she was very delightful and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. Great atmosphere and a quite setting. This is a higher priced restaurant but I feel well worth it. We will come again.! Attached photos is my five courses. And there was a one bit of Albacore tuna to start along with a pallet cleansing shaved ice witch had a flavor of green apple and wine. That was just beef main course.

Brian Woodcock

What a great place to host a business meeting. Throw in a great meal afterwards and an afternoon wine tour! Thank you as well to Ling our wine tour rep who made the tour memorable. Will visit again.

Vici Czestochowska

Me and my boyfriend loved our wine tour with Sal. He took very sweet pictures of us and explained everything perfectly.

This winery is an absolute delight. In the spring, summer and fall, it has lovely landscaping. Their winery tours and tastings are top notch. Dinner is splendid. The best part are their collection of various wines for the wine connoisseur in you. My favourite. The Cabernet Franc Ice Wine. Superb till the last drop.

Incredible lunch today at the Peller Estates Winery Restaurant. Our server, Ivanna, helped make our celebration a memorable visit at your restaurant. She was also our photographer, taking a great photo as our souvenir. The food was served properly, from hot bread, to the starters, to the 1st, and main courses. Well prepared. Truly great service. Thank you Ivanna and all the staff. We hope to visit you again later this year.

Sonia Ahmadi

Had a great wine tour with Matt today! So knowledgeable, so fun and great wine too!!

Josh VanderLeest

Enjoyed a wine tasting flight, good selection and friendly attitudes (and lots of staff). Busiest winery on our stop, high quality, but on the more expensive end of wines.

Tre Hunt

Amazing dinner if you have an exquisite taste. The wine tour was just as amazing, Sal was very informative and entertaining. The icewine tour was mindblowing. Stop being cheap and enjoy yourself, buy a bottle or 2, have $240 dinner; it's worth it.

Danny Desmond

Wonderful experience! Started with a tour and tasting led by Val it was very informative, I highly recommend the tour as the ice lounge offers a unique experience. The wines here are great. We stayed for dinner the service was excellent and the food delicious. FYI the oversized decanter in the dining room is not just for show!

Rich Dansereau

Short but informative tour. Good wines, especially the ice wine.

Caroline Becker

Great winery to end your day! Beautifully decorated, warm ambiance, excellent service

Gerald Fixman

Great tour of ice wine winery. We have a few in Pennsylvania, but nothing like this. The food was just average, but that's not what we came for. I really liked the people who run this place. Both my wife and I added some weight to the trunk! :-)

Andrea Williams

More expensive sampling - a flight of 3 was $8. Much higher than some of the other wineries in the area charging $1.50 or $2 a sample. But the wine sure is good. You must try their Reisling! Ice Wine Marshmallows are a hit every year!

Kyrie W

Came here for the Canadian Associations of Pathology Presidents Reception and had a great time. The food was goos (surf and turf with soup, salad and multiple side dishes) and the wine was plentiful. The wine tour including a trip down to the -10C ice wine cellar was fun, educational and tasty. I suggested to the manager to make some ceramic/reusable cups available (only disposables were available otherwise during my visit) and he agreed to do it for the future. I hope he keeps his word.

Alina Franchi

Came here 3 days in a row. Thats how much we loved it . Friendly, knowledgable service . Lots of wine selection for tasting . Private tasting room upstairs. Beautifully atmosphere. Desert wines are very good . Place is clean and immaculate . Their restaurant has a beautiful view of the vineyards. We dined at their grill restaurant as we wanted a more casual meal, had poutine and it was insanely tasty . Afterwards we walked through the vineyards with a glass of wine and it was perfect . P.S. Paul & Geoff are awesome and very knowledgeable at what they do Katie..the server is amazing . Thanks, guys!

Augusta Lessey

Amazing tasting menu. Beautiful room. Delicious food. Lisa excellent server. Highly recommended. Wonderful dining experience.

Anita Windisman

Terrific experience! Our tour guide Corey was knowledge and passionate about the winery. Best part was the Icewine tasting in the chilled room to minus 10 degrees Celsius, the exact temperature that grapes are picked for Icewine each January.

Allen Brantfordguy

Restaurant is amazing. I was there yesterday for dinner. Every menu selection ordered was absolutely a work of art. All items were delicious. One of the best restaurants ever. Clearly a talented creative chef! Can't wait for my next visit!

Red Back

Only had time for our booked lunch in the main restaurant. We were late, and they happily kept our table ( we called ahead). Superb lobster , lovely setting, great service, very enjoyable.

Kate M

I did a wine tour and loved it, especially going into the iced wine room - they have parkas to keep you warm! I loved the wine here so much, ended up being my favourite and I bought almost all my wine from here. Their iced wine is the BEST. The winery is absolutely beautiful, stands out as one of the top ones to me. I didn't get food when I was here so I can't speak to the restaurant!

Jake Lewis

Lovely late afternoon spent at Peller. Katie was our tour guide, and was very knowledgeable friendly and entertaining. The wine was terrific and we purchased a bottle of everything we tried. The Igloo experience was fun, sadly curtailed due to covid restrictions.

Dave Greene

Great wine tour.

Chris Overholster

Very picturesque location. Kind and friendly staff in the tasting room who help with any questions you might have. Tasting is $7 but if you buy a bottle they refund that amount. The gamay is particularly good.

Remi Tayar

What a winery! Should visit on your way to Niagara. Although the resturant is closed we had fun with the lady in the winery and she was a great help. The red spicy wine is super good.

A restaurant review ONLY... Went on Saturday for dinner after reading great reviews... honestly majority disappointed ordered the lobster linguine for $50 we all did. It felt like we sat down and the meal was Served 10 minutes later. gave us the Bill in less than an hour (desert and a bottle of wine included) For a $175 tab per couple I would expect a bit more of an experience... which it lacked. The best thing about the meal was the bread (which is supplied by a third party) We will cross this off as a lesson learned

Tracey Weaver

I did the pairings of food and wine. Tasted the wines before during and after each course. Was pleasantly surprised each time. Victoria ( our hostess/server) explained each course and wine with expertise. She made the experience enjoyable, interesting and fun. The atmosphere is pleasant not overwhelming. Romantic for couples. Spacious for groups. Prices are comparable to fine dine and affordable to those seeking a new taste experience.

Mel D.

It’s great and amazing experience with our tour guide Diana. She is one of the most knowledgeable tour guide. We learned a lot in all kinds of aspects in making wine and the most favourite experience is the ice wine tour. Goodluck Diana your the best...

I need to open with the reservation process is flawed. Called the evening before and left contact info in a my message. I assumed since there was no confirmation there was no problem only to arrive at the beginning of dinner service the next day to no reservation and rationalization that someone did not show up today. That is no reason for not responding the day before. We were provided with a lovely table since we were early in the service. We were seeing a play that evening hence the early reservation. This restaurant needs to have a person there able to take incoming calls, answering machines are not the answer. Our server was excellent and we choose the tasting menu with only one wine pairing so as not to be too sleepy at the performance. We were treated to an excellent sparkling ice wine to celebrate our anniversary. Peller has several excellent sparking Ice Wines. The wine pairings were excellent and sufficient to complement entrees, mains and desert. The kitchen has a slightly heavy hand with salt especially if one is accustomed to never adding salt other than natural sodium from ingredients. We do enjoy our occasional visits here for special occasions, a delightful extravagance! Still one of favorite spots in NOTL.

Edee Fletcher

Beautiful. Candace took care of us and was fabulous. Try the Reisling.

Cindy

Ice wine tour was super nice, wine tasted refreshing!

Ambure U

Had an amazing experience with Celsi. Tons of information, great wine samples, loved the tour. Well worth it. I will return again.

Alexandra Zhang

One of the best wineries I have ever been to! Food quality is superb, staff is very polite, and the ambience is amazing.

Abe Choucair

Amazing experience. The tour was great and gained so much knowledge. The wines are top notch, such a large variety to choose from. Will be back

Blake Corkill

Had a wonderful time looking around after being out for a drive. Super helpful staff in the boutique, great pairing hints on their wines and I found a new one for having with my favorite burgers!

Marcus Witzke

Excellent foid and service, nice place to stay for a dinner. We have been there with a group in a separate room. Soll work very well, had a great menu

Alexander Lozano

Please avoid this place!!! Went for a tasting and a quick bite on the outside patio. The worst experience ever. The staff was extremely rude and they are double the price of all other wineries in the region. Let's start with Geoff. He just served the wine and walked away. Didn't even bother to speak. I spilled a little bit of wine, by accident, and was expected to clean it myself. He handed me the cloth and said "here". Now to the outside patio.. waited about 30 minutes for Putine with lobster. After I asked when it would be ready... No one knew what I had ordered, and not even an apology. I asked for my money back and left highly dissatisfied with the customer service. Definitely never coming back here and I'll make sure to let anyone know when they decide to come to this region. Unfortunately there's no negative stars. Otherwise I would have.

Sarah N

Beautiful place. Staff were unattentative and they poured a tasting and then left us to try the wines without any follow up. Did not give any background or information about the wine. Not worth it, even with the free tasting coupon.

The Grumpy Traveler

Great place to stop while checking out the wineries. They have a great selection of good quality wines. Our flight was hosted by Gabrielle who did a fantastic job of explaining the wines.

Ameena Amarally

My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant last week. We received great service from start-to-finish. The staff was so professional and kind. We will definitely be back!

Kimberly Shaw

My boyfriend and I are from out of town and on our last full day of our vacation, decided to treat ourselves to a fancy lunch. We were NOT disappointed. Jordan M was our server and besides being extremely professional and experienced he was also down to earth and a fellow football fan like us. We had the four course meal with the wine pairing and everything was absolutely spectacular, by far our favourite meal of our 8 day trip. If you like the idea of a vineyard view and amazing food while spurging a bit on the bill, HIGHLY recommend visiting their restaurant. ????????

Matthew Gudenius

The tour here is a little more expensive than some in the area, but was quite enjoyable! Not only was the weather perfect, but the grounds and environments were interesting and enjoyable to experience, including not only a barrel cellar but also the 10Below ice bar for tasting ice wines! Will was also a great tour guide, with a leisurely but professional pace and vibe, lots of knowledge, and a little humor. The wines were good and the overall experience was great.

Annie Luong

A few stand outs of this dinner… the sea salted butter was to die for. Each bite was creamy and soft. Do yourself a favour and get the seafood linguine which is the best pasta we’ve had in Canada. It will be a memorable experience.

Natalia Korobenko

Good selection of vine and an amazing wine tour experience! Especially liked the ice wine testing part in the ice room (thanks for providing winter jackets!)

Attended the restaurant with visitors from Germany a few days ago. The initial reception by the hostess was less than professional and not very welcoming. The restaurant staff did much better. Our waiter was most knowledgeable and eager to help with our choices. We chose the four course tasting menu. The presentation was excellent. Food was tasty except perhaps the soup which was a tad bland. The place is rather pricey, hence we expected excellent service and food. Except for the reception, we enjoyed the experience and would return.

Lauren Adams-Rice

Absolutely loved our visit. The outdoor dining patio was perfect for a quick bite and the grounds are stunning. Can't wait to return.

Audrey Tran

Of all the wineries I have been to, this one stood out as the busiest and least personal. The tasting room was incredibly busy and crowded, and our server basically just shoved some glasses in our face and haphazardly poured our wine. Every other place I have been, the servers have been friendly, explained the wines and poured them one by one professionally. Perhaps they are just too big and busy now, but it really felt akin to trying to get a drink at a busy bar, rather than a wine tasting. As for the restaurant, we did not have reservations, and they said they were full. Which is fine, except they really were not that helpful or welcoming. We asked if there was somewhere else we could have a bite, to which they reluctantly showed us the lounge where you can have charcuterie. Then they told us we could sit at several tables of 2 (we were a group of 5) until we asked if we could make a table of 5 from a really obvious set of tables. The charcuterie board was alright, not amazing, as was the service. Overall, I'm not sure why this is rated "the best winery in Niagara" as I've been to much nicer ones with way better service. I think you should be able to have a nice experience even if you don't go on one of their wine tours, or eat at their restaurant. I don't think I'm likely to return here or recommend this place to friends and family.

Maureen Linehan

What a lovely location! The grounds are beautiful and the views from the restaurant patio and Grillhouse patio are of the vineyard and greenspace. We wandered try gift shop and decided to sit on the Grillhouse patio. It is open, dependent on the weather. Soft acoustic guitarist entertained us while we sipped wine and snacked. We relaxed with a glass of bubbles...cuvee sparkling wine. Not one for champagne but this was quite refreshing and light. We were told that 100ml of ice wine go into each bottle that adds a very light touch of sweetness. Perfect!! Highly recommend the charcuterie boards, try their housemade Pastrami - fantastic! And the boards had generous portions. They have a stone oven on the patio and we enjoyed lobster linguini pizza!! Swapping out the pasta carbs for thin crust. Nice big chunks of lobsters on thin crust pizza using a swath of goat cheese as the base. Light and delicious. We also saw sea salt fries and burgers going by that looked delicious. What a nice way to spend a few hours. Hats off to Jake, Restaurant Supervisor who is attentive to detail and really has created a smooth operation. Service was top notch. Highly recommend stopping in and/or bringing guests visiting the area.

Adam Klassen

Excellent winery. Really upscale and a fun tour!

Allison Sicoli

Delicious wines and great staff. The restaurant is amazing and worth the price. I am a big fan of the sparkling wines with added ice wine. Very original.

Daniel Ostromich

I was here for the ice wine tour and tasting. Our very good guide was Jenny. The atmosphere is relaxed and the ice wines were delicious. Our various questions were answered in a satisfactory manner except regarding the species of oak used for the casks. The ice bar was an interesting experience and the aging room had a wonderful smell. What we got for what we paid was a very good value.

KE Tamo

Love this location but I’ll never understand why children are allowed at vineyards. You are supposed to come for a nice, peaceful experience (most times to get away from the kids), and yet it feels like I’m sitting in the middle of recess right now. A lot of screaming kids. Wish it was a little more catered to adults. Edit half hour later: someone has brought their cat in a cat carrier. Lol. Weird stuff.

Omar Seraj Kazi

Love the estate, tour and store. Must visit !

Rez R

It is kid friendly because I am 11 and I went there but I did not have wine obviously food was amazing great staff beautiful location beast reasturent for luxury dining amazing restaurant over all and very large definitely will go again and recommend to anyone

We went with a big group and had reservations for their harvest menu. One of our number had an allergy that we had asked about before and the staff had assured us it wouldn't be a problem, they would be able to prepare something for him, and charge half price for the kids but they would be able to have the same menu. When we arrived they changed their tune -- all they could offer was dairy free for the whole table not just for the one individual, and for the kids they would just make some pasta. And they were all incredibly rude about it. We left and went elsewhere. Clearly Peller doesn't care about taking care of their guests.

Sharolyn W

Friends came to visit us at Niagara Falls, we decided to bring them to Peller Estate Winery for Dinner, the dining room is so beautiful , service were nice, food we had were so delicious. We all loved what we had. Such a wonderful night! Will highly recommend. Actually we all noticed that this place would be a romantic place for weddings as well.

Gordon Guthrie

An amazing experience for the both of us. Visited several years wineries over the week and Peller Estates was the absolute best property and guest experience of them all, well worth visiting multiple times during your week vacation in the area.

Ryan Standish

Some of our favorite wine!

SHINIL KIM

Wonderful experience. My wife and I had four course meal with pairing wine at the Dining Toom, and the food was really tasty. Cherina was really helpful in explaining the winery and few glasses of wine we had.

Alan Dickson

Outstanding event! Food truck weekend, favorite food from PigOut, you rock!!

Hal Felch

Excellent wine tour! Also had lunch there, which was very good. Cory did a great job of explaining the grape growing and wine making process.

Emma Rivera

Beautiful property and really enjoyed the tour. The food was meh, do not recommend eating here.

Amaka New

I had fun from the start to the end of this tour, definitely one of my best experiences in Canada! The staff is great and very nice and oh our tour guide for that day was very friendly and funny, I forget what he name was but he is the one in the picture. He was very patient and answered all our questions. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Ernie Jones

Attended today with family from Toronto. Liked it so much we bought a monthly membership and some product. The wine tasting and staff(Paul) were super. Living close by is awesome, we will be going more often. Top notch experience.

Zvonimir Mijaljevic

We came for a wine tour, led by Jewel. She was amazing! Very friendly and approachable and helped the group learn a lot about wine! Even after the tour she was very helpful in the shop with respect to different wines with food pairings. Very knowledgeable! Will book another tour with her again soon!

Brandy Morris

Yummy drinks, beautiful scenery, and absolutely excellent service!

Naomi Lai

My rating is directed exclusively at the “fine dining” restaurant on site. The winery itself is satisfactory, but the wines are nothing to write home about. Especially if you’re visiting from out of town, I suggest you try literally any other winery in the area for a more interesting selection (Big Head, Two Sisters, Stratus, and Ravine are all great). In regards to the customer service at Peller’s “fine dining” restaurant... We had some time to kill before a tour and wanted a quick coffee. I was told we weren’t allowed into the restaurant for just coffee at dinner hour (it was 4:45 and entirely empty). I explained we had a tour booked at 5:30 so needed to be out before long, and even suggested we order a starter if that would help. No. I asked where else I could find a coffee, either on site or off and all I got was a shrug and directions to Tim Hortons, a few minutes drive into town. I could literally see the coffee machine just behind the bar but they refused to be accommodating. We didn’t come for the coffee, but it’s frustrating when a small request, which is entirely manageable, is refused because the staff are feeling lazy. If we hadn’t already arranged and paid for a tour we would have gone next door to Two Sisters instead (which we later did, and had a fantastic experience).

Trevor Cherewka

Decided to stop by Peller Estates Winery while visiting Niagara on the Lake and we were so glad we did. The winery was fantastic. Grabbed a bottle of late harvest Vidal. Delicious.

Bryan Gama

Had a good tasting however there was a big struggle in the shop and ended up waiting almost 40 minutes to get one bottle… no one gave us an update on the issue or anything… the lack of service from a well established winery was very disappointing…

Melvin Chien

Came here for lunch and a wine tasting. We did the chef's tasting menus and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and delicacy of the dishes. Every single one was carefully presented and of course, tasted wonderful. We also attended their chocolate and wine tasting, which was a new experience for us. The guide was very friendly and informative, and most importantly, engaging. The actual chocolates and wine were really, really good as well. Definitely will make more excuses to enjoy wine and chocolate at home now!

Muhammed Elgammal

Although I do not not drink any form of alcohol, I still thought it would be great to come here and take the tour offered. My first impression of this winery was shock. The estate was a mansion, and I had never seen a house like this before. The tour was about 45 minutes in total. It included the history of the winery all throughout each stop. I learned about the process of making wine and was able to walk near the grape fields; prior to this tour, I had never seen a grape tree nor did I now that they could survive the cold weather. After the grape fields, we went to the basement where they store all the barrels. This part of the tour was really intriguing because I learned what it takes to make a barrel. Let me just say it is more complex and tedious than I had thought. My most favorite part of the tour was the freezer for the Peller Estate Ice Wine. Everything in the freezer, with the exception of the wine and wine glasses, was made of ice! The seats were ice. The ceiling had ice decorations. It was ice all throughout. I did not like the cold temperatures because I prefer warmer to hot temperatures; however, the ice designs in this freezer made me want to stay longer.

????Wonderful wine tasting experience great place to bring spouse, partner for dating????

UrMomGay

tbh this place is hyped up way to much.. the guy at the front was hella rude and snarky… the guy who served us, dave, was really nice and the only enjoyable part of my experience. I got the poutine and and the fries were ok and the and cheese was cold as ice but not the good way. My aunt got the lobster poutine and she said it tasted canned and disgusting. We can’t break the news to dave because he’s too nice.

Rula B. Morcos

Great experience and tasty variety of options. This is a beautiful atmosphere. The sample of 3 wines was $8, which could be used towards a credit for a wine bottle purchase. The service was friendly.

Vishal Kohli

Had an amazing time at Peller today with Paul the tour guide. Tried an amazing selection of wine. The ice wine was definitely a very memorable experience.

Jazmin N

Place it’s nice, came with a group of friends, we came for the wine tasting but we also tried the hamburgers. The outside is beautiful, they have very nice areas. The room where we did the wine tasting was a bit dark and needed fresh air. Overall it was a nice experience.

koorosh dl

I went to few winery on the same day, but the wines in this winery was amazing. I loved the Chardonnay. We went to the VIP room it was really interesting experience and the server was very friendly.

Virgilio Botti

Great place to relax and enjoy. Compared with Napa valley the experience is a lot more relaxed. No pressure to sell you on wine clubs or to order anything. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. We had a late lunch at the winery restaurant and the food was superb. Great attention to detail. Will definitely visit again and stay at their hotel.

Jon “Jonnie Cufflinks” Russell

My wife and I had the great pleasure of dining at Peller Estates on June 15 2021. The entire experience was excellent, we were enthusiastically greeted by "Mo" at the front (an excellent Ambassador for the Winery) and he escorted us back to Shay who was Hostessing at the Restaurant. Shay was very friendly, warmly welcomed us and easily accommodated my wife's seating request before seamlessly passing us over to our server Lisa. Lisa's knowledge of the Wines, the Menu and the locale was unparalleled and we will be sure to ask for her on our next visit. The Wines and the Meal were both excellent and the scenery could not be better, I highly recommend this experience to anyone in the Niagara Region.

Viktor Vas

Awesome Winery, Like most of the wineries, A big store. Great restaurant. Came here for the new years eve dinner and we had a fantastic time. - Update, This year's new years eve was not nearly as good as previous ones, No longer in the cellar, No more ice wine martinis to welcome you, Felt a lot more like they were trying to make as much off you as possible.... Not sure what's going on here, but the whole operation was of a lower Calibre in my opinion.

Garry Donnelly

One of the larger vineyards in the area. They offer up a large variety of the local wines coupled with fine dining. Great venue for a romantic dinner or office party. Easy to get to lots of free parking.

David Seemungal

Great chance to sit in the sun on a breezy patio in a beautiful setting. It was their first day open after lockdown. Had the delicious lobster poutine and a burger and fries. Because it was the first day, they ran out of bacon for the burger, but they substituted grilled mushrooms and a top up of our wine.???? Great service and I have no complaints about that at all. Well worth the drive from Toronto.

Arpit Modi

Exclusive collection of wine and other stuff..Little bit expensive than average winery around Niagara on the lake..Ice wine is a must try/buy. Book tour and testing couple of weeks in advance. Cheers!!

Derek Tee

Did a wine tasting here over the long weekend and it was quieter than expected. There is a bit of traffic on the way here, so plan accordingly. Parking was easy to find and we were shown to our table promptly. Great views and space! Great selection of wines to taste and service was good… though a tad pushy for us to leave before our time was up. Overall, it was enjoyable!

Tomomi

Not enough staff We dropped at peller for lunch and wine tasting. It was Thursday. And it's beautiful place with classic building and great grape fields view. As we have few wineries that we wanted to stop, we chose the casual restaurant to have quick lunch. But the foods took so long to be served. When we told the staff that we are in hurry, she went to check the kitchen and said "another 2 mins, okay?". The foods came 15 mins later at least when we were about to leave the place. It was same thing at wine tasting counter. After the staff let us try the first wine, he left to the other clients and hadn't come back so long. There were no other staff available to serve. We needed to wait and wait. So, we just gave up and left to the other wineries. We didn't have this kind of problem in the other wineries.

This is a very nice estate winery, came with friend to check out. We came on a rainy Saturday and even then inside was packed. We were greeted nicely by someone outside. It felt like a very commercialized Napa CA winery. We did not do any tastings because there were way too many people. It’s beautiful though, so next time maybe we’ll try the restaurant as well. Nice grounds and lots of space.

Cosmin N.

As soon as you drive passed the entrance gate you feel the exclusivity atmosphere exuding from everything around you. We've tasted a few good wines but, without the benefit of a membership's exclusive rights, we weren't able to sample any of the high-end varieties, which otherwise were available for sale on every shelf. A nice experience overall, but somewhat overshadowed by some kind of neglect, probably springing from a faintly-felt feeling of being marginally welcomed!?

Fonso Orlando

Beautiful place great taste in wine nice restaurant good customer service

Jennifer Fong

What an incredible experience! We sat on the patio of the restaurant, overlooking the vineyard. The view and atmosphere was elegant and beautiful. We ordered and tenderloin and lobster pasta...both were exceptional. The wines were delicious and we took a few bottles home. All in all, a perfect place for date night. We loved it!

Brendan Church

Absolutely perfect tour. Was about an hour... just the perfect time to try 4 different wines in 4 totally different parts of the estate. The new ice wine lounge was more than incredible... by far the favourite. Tour guides were fun and chill. I definitely recommend this winery.

Kamran Aslam

Wine tasting is amazing however the restaurant could do better food options

Karisma Hoffman

Went for a wine tasting and our server was great. She explained the different wines and whiskeys and appeared very knowledgeable. Only downside would be the cost for the bites. We ordered a cheese board which was $17 not worth it although it did taste good. Minus that the grounds are beautiful and we had great service.

James Hallahan

Visited as a part of the Taste of the Season passport. The service and food was great, wine was OK. Extremely busy and crowded. I loved the venue, very professional, but not ready for the numbers. I'd consider going again, the staff seemed genuinely interested in pleasing their customers.

Asha Tharma

Beautiful vineyard and really friendly staff. We had lunch at the fine dining restaurant and Drew was so personable which made our experience a 5 star! Great wine, food & staff!

Sariana Zatzman

Truly a remarkable meal. First of all the butter for the bread is far and above the best butter we have ever had. Then the main meal came, and it was honestly so delicious, the duck was cooked to perfection, the sides were wonderful! And the wait staff gave us a high class experience.

Kris Backus

Lovely experience for NYE!

Kaitlyn Pashko

We came here for dinner at the main restaurant and it was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a great view of the vineyard from our table. The food was amazing, I had the beef tenderloin was it was so tender, it melted in your mouth. A great experience!

Amrita Bispat

The experience was amazing and I will recommend my friends.

Mary Hulme

This place is not the same during this time. I made a reservation for wine tasting at 11am. There was a huge crowd of people that also had reservations. Due to the weather, we were taken to a banquet room and were running 15 minutes behind. They didn’t explain any of the wines and we had to just pick 3. They charged me the same price for my husband who doesn’t drink! There was a line up for the next group of people waiting. It was ridiculous and so not worth the money. This was my favorite winery. I have eaten in the dining room many times and attended events as well here. There is no personalized service or special magic to this place anymore. You are one of many in a line up. The experience and the magic isn’t there. Moving forward, we are going to go to smaller wineries. I hope things change for the better.

Jessica Calnek

Beautiful location, friendly staff and delicious wines! Especially enjoyed the '10 below' ice wine tasting lounge which was in a room made of blocks of ice. Chantal was great!

Paul Jamieson

I'm sure it's probably just covid-19, but not much interest in describing the wines we ordered at our tasting today. Usually we get our server telling us all about what we are about to drink.. today nothing!

Amanda D

We went her with a bachelorette party and had an excellent time. The wines we tasted were delicious.

Matt Clarke

Great winery, great variety for tastings and a fun tour.

Kelly Chan

We had lunch at The Winery Restaurant and had a wonderful view of the vineyard. We started with the Oyster and Heirloom Tomato Salad, they were both good. Our mains were the Signature Lobster Linguini and Beef Tenderloin. Overall meals were ok, however the steak was overcooked.

Breana Amorim

Faith was our tour guide and she taught us so much! Not to mention she was hilarious and highly entertaining. The wine was delicious and the property is beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience!

Michael Tsang

One of the larger more commercial wineries in Niagara and the facilities reflect this. Large retail and tasting area as well as an excellent on site restaurant. The grounds are extensive and offer very nice views and places to relax and enjoy a good glass of wine during the warmer months.

Amanda M

Did the wine tour, and despite the very charismatic and knowledgeable hostess who led our tour, it was a lacklustre experience. First of all, the price. It is $35 for the tour, which includes under an hour of walking through a cold cellar area, and one ice bar. The tastings today were four wines, approx 1oz each (except the ice wine which was more of a half ounce sample) of sparkling cuve, reserve Riesling, Merlot and ice wine Vidal. In the tasting bar upstairs you can have a flight of 3 x 1oz wine samples for $8 ($10 if you want dessert wines including ice wines). With that cost in mind you could do the wine tasting bar 4+ times and still come out ahead. Also you get the full $8 at the tasting bar back on purchase of a bottle. After the $35 tour you get $5 off an ice wine bottle only! So if you don’t like ice wine you get no discount at all with the tour. The shop was beautiful and had fun artesian snack items, and some hosting/wine related kitchen equipment and was enjoyable but do yourself a favour and SKIP the TOUR. Also had a tour group with a small (toddler) child in it, and the child screamed and cried throughout the entire tour until the father took the child away near the end of the tour. I love children, but there is nothing of interest for a small child at a winery. Parents, perhaps your children are best left at home when you are at the winery sampling the adult beverages. Perhaps it’s time for Pellar estates to enforce an 18+ age restriction on their guided tours?

Lawrence Graham

The facilities were beautiful. Most of the staff was pleasant. We did have one that could use some customer service training. There was a weather issue and they quickly switch to socially distanced indoor rooms.

Kaitlyn Stava

We went on the daily tour and had a great time! Our tour guide made it a relaxed atmosphere and gave us good knowledge about the winery. The best part was in the 10 below room where you try ice wine, and not to ruin the experience-but this is the best wine I've ever tried. The only thing it was missing was the production of wine, which is at it's sister winery.

Crystal Wang

I had dreamed of visiting Peller Estates for so many years now and never got the chance to every time I was in Niagara. We got a coupon for a free tasting for 2 at our hotel, so I decided that this would be the trip where I finally get to go. The estate was so beautiful when we arrived and parking was easy to find. We were immediately greeted by John and Claire who were so charismatic and charming. We asked for the next available time for a tour and lucky for us there was no one else booked during that time so we had a private tour! Our guide was Kari who was so sweet and funny - she taught us so much about the different kind of wines and the process of turning them into icewine. I enjoyed learning about the barrels and the roasting process, and it was also the first time my boyfriend had cheese with wine, his reaction was priceless. Our favourite part was visiting the 10 below icewine lounge. The icewine was so delicious and it was such a fun and intimate experience. We highly recommend visiting this estate and trying out the tour! I would love to come back for a tour again.

Lindsay Bignell

This place is so beautiful. Amazing grounds and ice wine. Do yourself a favour and stop in the driveway on the way in to take a picture in front of the stately building. They have a festival here every May long weekend with food trucks and live music and it’s always a great time. A tour is $35 and will get you into the “ice room” which is amazing for photo ops.

Frederick Ferreira

We went to celebrate our friends 30th birthday at Peller with a group of 10! We booked the greatest winery tour but mixed up our start time and missed more than half of it. It seemed like the day was ruined but Monica and Caitlin accommodated us with our own personal tour! They went above and beyond what we expected with an industry passion rarely seen this day and age! Thank you!!

Kathan Desai

Amazing view on the patio, great selection of wine

Debbie kinsella

Amazing food, great staff and fabulous grounds

Michelle M

*Restaurant Review* We were a group of 10 celebrating 3 birthdays. We got ushered to a private room in the back with our own personal entrance/exit to the courtyard area overlooking the grape vines. Our server was amazing and I wish I remembered her name. For the table, we shared the cheese/charcuterie boards and oysters. Between us two, we had the heirloom tomato salad, lamb shank and the signature lobster linguine (first course size). The linguine was my absolute favourite dish. The lamb shank was slightly underwhelming due to flavour. We mentioned birthdays through our Openable reservation and our host even asked who was celebrating a birthday, however it was not acknowledged at the end of our meal. Just a note, work things out with your server if you would like to celebrate the special occasion.

Troy Clark

I cannot rate their wines or anything else past the front desk. Gentleman at front desk seemed snooty. As I was purchasing a tour for my wife and myself, another staff member came up with two customers and cut right in front of us and asked the clerk to ring up their wine. He immediately turned his attention away from us and did as instructed. I waited about two minutes and my wife and I left. It's OK though, we found an amazing place down the road and spent our money there...

Christie Tinker

We booked a 25-minute wine tasting experience with Pelalr Estates online for $10. You can choose from 3 wines and you get exactly what you pay for. We showed up for our tasting and they check you in and take you're information for contact tracing. We were escorted upstairs to their tasting room and seated promptly. The entire experience is very commercial and impersonal as this is a larger chain. The wines were mediocre in my opinion - nothing stood out to me and after our tasting we didn't buy any wine. The estate is well maintained and staff were friendly enough. If you're interested in something to fill a 30-minute time slot it's still worth your time. I personally enjoy tastings that allow you to try better wines and have staff who ask you your preferences and give recommendations. It was a little too fast paced for me, however, you get exactly what you pay for.

Tam Ho

Food was average. Nice ambiance. Staff was great.

James Williams

We did a wine tasting here today and despite it being busy from the tour buses that rolled up. We didn't need to wait plus, the woman that took care of us was great. She didn't rush us and walked us through all the wines that suited my wife and I's palette. Awesome experience and we even bought a wine that we had never tried before.

Tom Harrison

We used to enjoy going here last summer for lunch on the patio with a glass of wine. All that has changed this year. Service had been cut back, no more pizzas on the menu (just burgers) and no more complimentary wine for club members. We won't be back.

Brent Mondoux

Amazing winery, fun tours, great membership lounge. A must visit!

Tapas Easwar

When you first visit Peller Estates, you're going to see a beautifully laid out winery and estate. That's really where the anything about it that stands out ends. The estate restaurant, which anyone can make a reservation for, feels incredibly upscale, as in shorts and flipflops would not be allowed, but rather, requiring more formal evening wear. I'm not a person who actively drinks wine, so I can't say if the wine was good or not, but it was tasty. For a winery, the prices were on par with anywhere else you'd visit for a similar dining experience, which is to say, it's expensive. The portions were small, served in ridiculous plates - small area for the actual food surrounded by a hilariously oversized bezel, which is again, to be expected. However, despite the small portion sizes, we didn't feel hungry, but that could be due to the bread and ice-wine butter that we consumed just before. They offered us a palate cleanser, which turned out to be an iced wine strawberry frozen desert of some sort, but didn't tell us how to have it. Turns out, you need a spoon. We ordered the Pacific Halibut and the Yorkshire Valley Farms Chicken Paprikas. The food was okay at best, definitely not worth the price we paid. It had flavour, but for the most part, it was kind of bland - something that you could easily have elsewhere for a more reasonable price. They did give us complimentary wine and desert, which seriously cut down on our bill at the end of the night, and both were portioned perfectly. All in all, going to a winery and eating in their restaurant is definitely an experience worth having, but an experience worth having only once.

Allysa Ramkishun

Breath Taking Views... my boyfriend and I are wine club members because of the very first experience we had here. Memorable staff and amazing quality in wines. Very educating as well... we drive 2 hours multiple times during the summer just to come here

Kay Miss

Ordered a salad and two steak dinners, the waitress brought us one dinner and said she thought we were going to share??? Innocent mistake but then when the replacement steaks came, one new and one was the original from 20 minutes or so prior, they were both well done when we ordered medium rare. The steak was dry and chewy and the only flavour was the Kraft like bbq sauce. Disappointing but the atmosphere was nice. Wouldn't ever eat there again.

Kien Dang

Had Lauren as our tour guide and she was very friendly and knowledgeable! Answered all our questions and had a really good time here. Highly recommend going to this estate!

laura pudlo

Went on the "greatest tour" with the ice room. Had a great guide Christina that was very funny yet informative. Had fun in the ice room and walking around the estate. Book in advance because they are usually booked especially in the summer.

Steve Olender

We came to celebrate our recent marriage and were treated to the best meals of our lives. Food and service were impeccable, and the wine pairings complemented each course pretty much perfectly. The staff gladly accommodated our food allergy, dealt with our quirks and odd senses of humor with grace and charm, and were very generous to us; Colin and the sweet young lady bussing for him were perfect hosts. Prices were high, and dinner took us more than 3 hours to get through, but when they tell you that you'll be receiving a "singular dining experience", you can count on it. I couldn't imagine a better evening out for our mini-honeymoon. We will always remember this night. Thank you to the staff for a perfect evening!

Lola Ramona

Love this winery. Beautiful grounds and fantastic staff!

Tiffany Yan

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Peller Estates for his birthday this past weekend. The host knew that it was a celebration and were gracious enough to seat us at a window so that we could watch the sun set as we were dining. The decor is spectacular: chic, modern and very elegant. Our table was set perfectly with nothing out of place. We decided to try the Fabulicious dinner and each course was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The highlight of our night was our server. Cherina was professional, prompt and so personable. She had us laughing every time she came to our table! Cherina also took notice that we were a little hungry in between courses and sent out extra bread (and lots of butter, since we were fighting over the little knob). She also sent out a little treat for us after dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a wonderful evening celebrating a milestone at a beautiful restaurant on an expansive estate and couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to the Peller Estates staff and especially Cherina, for taking such good care of us.

Tina Eickhoff

A bit pricey but we loved our tour, the ice wine is amazing and worth it. Service of all staff is great!

Erica Wilk

Enjoyed the Vino & Coco tasting as a part of a bachelorette weekend! Had a wonderful leader (Rena) who explained each step thoroughly and taught us to use the blowtorches. would love to go back for a different experience!

Alexander

After researching I decided on Peller Estates. Upon driving up to the vineyard I was impressed with the architecture and landscaping. I brought my girlfriend here for a tour which was lead by Julie, she was very knowledgeable and made for a fun and engaging tour. After that we ate at the Barrel House Grille which was very good and were treated with live music which they have every Friday.

LeRoy Crooks

Excellent tour. Especially the ice room. Suggest an early morning tour because the groups are small.

Serge Simic

After being super disappointed in the yours available, we decided to jump in our uber to make our own. We saw the bistro off an NY times article and it didn't lead us astray. Ryan, our server was amazing and gave us a run down of the area (which led us to sister wineries Gretzky and Trius). He turned our day around! He mentioned the tour was well worth it and put us on to the Ice House. Marissa was a rockstar and one of the most engaging tours we've ever been on. We all finally realized what tannens were! Top notch service with excellent people (and delicious wines)

Melissa Blanchard

Elegant place, very nice wine.

Natasha Sidhu

Restaurant was exceptional. The menu was the same and had a spectacular view of the vineyard!!

Diane Trif

Out of the 11 wineries we visited in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Peller Estates was our favourite. The "Greatest Winery Tour" was by far the most informative, complete and original tour we went on. The 10bellow experience is what makes this so original. We completed our visit to Peller with a dinner at the winery restaurant and it was to die for. Chef Parson's Signature Icewine Lobster Linguini is a MUST. And in a world where more often than not the service is so-so, here the service was impeccable. Thank you & see you soon!

Franklin Madison

The wine, the chef, the food, the crisp white linens. The highly knowledgeable and gracious staff. Just an incredible experience. You must do as we did, go for a wine tasting then go eat lunch. Don’t expect a large menu, expect a well planned carefully thought out creation of items to complement your wine choices. This place is heaven and it’s local, and I can’t wait to go back. I love the wine, I love the food.

Chetan K

Visited this place with family on friday. It wasn’t crowded. Cory was our guide and he is the best in his job. Such a great communicator. He took time to explain things and answered all questions to our group. We tasted regular wines and ice wine. Swiss cheese was yummy!

Matthew Chartrand

Very interactive wine tour with a fun stop inside a room chilled to -10 C for our ice wine tasting. Would highly recommend.

Joshua Augusto

Loved the Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant. Experienced the tasting menu - every dish was perfect, full of flavour, and life. The service was also phenomenal - all the staff was extremely friendly. Loved the experience, the food and the wine. Can’t wait to come back!

Kathy Della-Nebbia

I went there with my husband and another couple in early September. We had a wonderful time. The tour was much more interesting than I anticipated and I really enjoyed the visit to the Ice Wine Room. We did some tasting before the tour and had a wonderful meal after the tour. The history and story of the winery is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Service was excellent and so was the wine.

Fred Kim (Hoozah)

The restaurant always delivers when it comes to service and food. It's definitely worth a trip.

Tienne Chenier

It is 24 hours later and our family is still talking about the appalling service we received yesterday at Peller (as are our friends now). I booked the reservation over a month ago and followed up in writing advising I had food intolerances. I was assured then and again when I confirmed the reservation that there would be no issue and I could be accommodated. My mother, 11 year old son and I arrived yesterday for dinner full of anticipation; my son especially as he is a budding food critic who had been well-received at another winery the evening before. I notified the server immediately of my intolerances and he said they would work around me but he didn't seem to understand that I didn't simply want accompaniments left off, that instead I wanted to know what was in each of them so I could try to pick something that would be interesting and close to what the chef intended. He misinformed me of the ingredients in some of these. My starter, for example, ended up being a big pile of prosciutto with a bit of tomato jam (too much prosciutto and the jam tasted like cold pasta sauce). Similarly, my main course (the duck) ended up being duck (admittedly well-cooked) with some steamed vegetables - nothing interesting and none of the potatoes he said he would bring. This was after he brought out a plate laden with carrot puree and carrots and then claimed I hadn't mentioned I couldn't eat carrots, which I of course had. My mother, meanwhile, had been given my adjusted dish with her veal order. He did not admit or perhaps did not notice there had been an error, nor did he apologize. My son was treated with disdain though he was perfectly behaved and had the wherewithal to order the pear and icewine soup to start (it was in actual fact a cauliflower cream puree, by the by) and venison cooked sous vide. When he asked if there was chocolate in the Smores 2.0 cheesecake dessert, the server said no, no chocolate, then came out later and said haughtily that there were two types of chocolate in the dessert. When I asked if my son could have his dessert while my mother and I decided what we would do next (we were fed up at this point), I was told no, that their policy was to bring dessert to everyone at the same time. That's some customer service! Finally, my mother spoke to the manager (outside the dining room to avoid a scene, which was rather good of her). All he could see fit to do was to reduce the bill, but completely missed the bigger point. The server meanwhile took to ignoring us. I went back to the B&B and made myself a peanut butter sandwich as I was still so hungry, while my mother had an apple. We left our wine unfinished on the table.

Amanda Wyllie

This was me and my fiancé’s first winery, and I must say it was amazing. Tastings and a tour. Our tour guide Brianna was full of energy and wonderful to talk with. We will deffinatly be revisiting next time!!! The 10below freezer for the ice wine was awesome! Well done :)

Beau Steffer

My favorite Winery/Vineyard. Great wines, great food, great staff, very well managed and maintained. The grounds are beautiful as well.

Jarred Perl

Nice place. Nice tasting bar. Tibor was a gentlemen.

Helen Li

Loved the wine tour! And tasting!!! You learn so much about wine making at the tour, and it's only ten bucks per person! The wine here are so good, especially the ice wine. I always buy Peller as gifts when I visit friends outside of Canada. It's great to come visit the 'source'. :)

Brittany Bartram

Beautiful views for the tastings and the dinner. Some delicious wines, particularly ice wines

Iryna Goy

My boyfriend and I came here for my 25th birthday. An incredibly elegant and beautiful place. After dinner, we took a stroll around the property and the view of the estate with the vineyards is breathtaking. This seems like an amazing spot to hold a wedding.

Danny Thornton

Great tasting wine at a reasonable price. The tour is a must-do. Make sure to taste the wine in the ice cellar. Before you go in make sure to wear a heavy jacket because you will freeze your balls off. The tour guides are fantastic. Any questions that you have they are ready to answer

chirag patel

Best wineries in niagara on the lake. Specifically ice wine is amazing, must try. Cheese board was also delicious.

Nasrin Eshraghi Ivari

One of the very pleasant winery . You just need to book in advance.

Guenther Moeller

This is a great winery. You will not be disappointed by their white and red wines. They are now open for casual and formal meals, both inside and outside the main winery building. And while you are there, do try a wine tasting. The servers follow all current Covid protocols.

Kasia M

We went for dinner on Saturday night. We sat outside by the heaters. Despite being dark, the place looked very picturesque with Christmas lights and burning heaters. The service was excellent and very attentive. However the food was very disappointing. The soup of the day was tasteless and flavourless. The most expensive menu item - lobster was fairly tasty, but it just had little pieces of lobster in it and lots of bacon pieces which added flavour, but we wanted to see and taste lobster for $50 per plate. Would never go back there.

ARON ROSH

This place is "CLASSY" When you are there do try out their 'Ice Wine' its really sweet, some might like it a lot but do try out the testers before buying it. Also, the Grape Juice, now that's something you should really take back home, Highly recommended. In the summer they have pretty good stuff going on like Movie and Dinner nights, Parties and they are not that expensive when you are looking for a quality time with friends and family

Tim Corwin

Great tour where I was able to use a sword to open a bottle. Ling was a great host. She showed us the vineyard where we tried 4-5 year old grapes to compare with the 22 year old grapes growing in the next row. The tour continued into a wine cellar where we learned about barreling the wine. Lanterns and coats were provided to then allow for the tasting of a white and red ice wine in the Ice room that was 90% made of ice. We wrapped up the tour in the moonlight roasting marshmallows that were dipped in Icewine. YUM!

meenal nafde

This place is our absolute favourite. We have been here couple of times and we always go for ice wine tasting. They have some amazing collection of wines which will make your wine buying decision very difficult we absolutely love peller estates wines.

Sigal Matasaro

Fresh ingredients from local farmers. Great food. Great wine selection. Great service. Great easy going atmosphere. One of the best winery / restaurants in the area.

Nicole Shapiro

Fantastic selection of ice wine. Beautiful views! Would recommend! :)

M Bro

We enjoyed the tour, but disappointed that our two under age kids were charged exactly the same price. The ice bar was fun, a good way to end the experience!

J. Cass Howorth

Classy and tasty. Reasonably priced for such high calibre dining. Strange that our charcuterie board with 3 cheeses only had 1 blue cheese though.

Gabriela Veliz

Great experience and customer service also big selection of wine!

Glen E. Grant

To walk the sacred grounds of this marvelous vineyard in the Niagara region was deviné. Locating it was easy thanks to great signage and once parked a quick COVID check in opened the doors to a fascinating yet wonderful experience. Walking the vineyard and actually getting a chance to pick from a bunch of grapes offered its own delight. Spacious grounds, lots of dining options but getting into the retail store was another worldly experience with many choices of wines along with decadent treats and glassware to choose from. A rewarding experience and worthy of a repeat.

Ellie Joy P.

Amazing experience touring the winery and also doing the Big Cheese Theory hour! Would really recommend it!

A D

Very busy location. Wine is okay and average. They could use more selected and rare wine blends to offer as the other Niagara vineyards offer. Restaurant is nice and provides great service. Food is very high in price for the portion size they provide. Very tasty but very Small and not filling. wouldn't go back.

Kris Buzmion

Lovely wine tour and wine tasting experience. Variety of wine to try. Ice wine would def one of my faves. I wish it can be bought at the nearest LCBO. it's a bit pricey -- a trade off of course. but would recommend for every to try! It's sooooo good!

Michael Lam

Very nice winery with lots of selection. The restaurant was very nice We had the lunch menu but the only thing was our salmon was over cooked. Everything else was quite good

Cassandra Van Houten

Our dinner was amazing. Had the five course with the wine pairing. The wines are great but my over all favorite was the muscat. We really enjoyed our wine tasting before hand too. The staff is very knowledgeable and really enjoy describing the wines to you.

Macey

Decent Winery with a good selection of wines. Definitely one of the more popular wineries in the area and busier than I anticipated. I was surprised not being asked for my vaccination status despite eating indoors. The tasting option of 4 wines is $20, and while there are food options there, they could be improved on. My guests found the tacos and flatbread bland but passable. Then again, you don't come here for the food. The wine did taste a little better compared to when you purchase at the liquor store so take advantage of being there to try the fresh wine. Theres definitely a beautiful aesthetic and perfect for photos in spots throughout the building and outdoors.

Kate Wang

Great wine, vineyard and tour. The patio also offered a great view of the vineyard. Would definitely recommend!

John Sutton

Visited the winery during the ice wine festival in January 2020. One of the nicest wineries we saw. Beautiful interiors and delicious ice wines.

Angelica Mavarez

Restaurant was full so we went outside for the "patio" restaurant and it was so nice! We ordered different burgers and all of them were so tasty! Service was fast and very friendly... Add the view of the winery and you have a pretty lovely experience.

Cameron Gillis

Amazing tasting today! Sean and Lucas were exceptional and very well educated. Will visit again for sure :)

Sabrina Piedimonte

The wine estate and tour/tasting with Emily was amazing. However, the restaurant after called the Barrel House Grill was terrible. The hostess at the front was lovely, the server wasn't very friendly. Waited an hour to get in, another hour for the food to come out, and then when the food came out it was barely edible. Stale bread, dry food and tasteless vegetables on the burger. The only thing that tasted good was their spring salad.. but that's definitely not worth two hours.

Debbie Conte

Had a great birthday experience! From the tastings to dinner, the whole building and staff were very COVID safe. Shout out to Sandra and Christian for great service and to the kitchen staff on a wonderful 5-course pairing dinner. We absolutely love this place!

Stacey Kudro

Amazing great tour and tastings and the gift shop has lots of nice items. Will be returning

Lyndsey Gray

We loved our experience!! Amazing service from start to finish. My husband mentioned it was my birthday to the host Colin. He then made a point of telling our server, Ivana. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel very special! The food was out of this world!! The charcuterie & cheese board was the best we have ever had!! My husband had the salmon and I had the lobster linguine. It was phenomenal!!Can’t wait to return!

Lisa Iles

The service here was wonderful. If you haven't had the opportunity to try ice wine, do so here. Thank you to John and Geoff for being excellent.

veesha maharaj

great service from Alyssa and fantastic food????

Chantal Tiffany

Came here with a group of friends for my first ever wine tasting experience. We enjoyed ourselves-the place is beautiful and clean. Gorgous for weddings, take photos or to just simply enjoy yourself. We enjoyed it so much we chose to come back with my husbands Family who was visiting from Argentina. when we came back the 2nd time in May (first time was in February) we enjoyed the beautiful tulips that bloomed. It was stunning. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. This place was pure class. I would recommend this winery for anyone who enjoys wine or would love to go on a wine tour.

Ryan Resmer

Great customer service! Jewel REALLY knows her stuff. And helped us pick some great wines we loved. Beautiful grounds. Great staff. I’ll be back for sure.

Anthony Acuna

Amazing food and environment

Erik Champion

Wonderful tour! I learned a lot. I was there 7 years ago and I still remember how amazing their Pinot Noir tasted. I haven't tasted one as good since! The dessert wines were amazing too. Highly recommend adding this stop to your vacation plans even if you aren't a big wine drinker.

Meghan Patterson

Well priced with an informative tour.

Cassie Yeo

Such a beautiful place to travel to! All the staff were very friendly. Sal was hands down the funniest and most knowledgeable tour guide! We all had a blast and the wine tasting was the icing on the cake!

Carmelia Ray

Visited Peller Estates during the Ice Wine ???? festival. Enjoyed their ice wine and the nice wine infused roasted marshmallows. They had an assortment of wines and cute wine accessories. Very nice winery/

Ankit Z

Good tour by Angelo but due to winter weather the tour was fairly quick.

Niche Thevarajah

Food quality has really suffered. Not sure if it’s due to the pandemic or not. Wine is probably still good.

Samantha Marshall

This used to be one of our favourite spots for every special occasion. The chef's tasting menus were always such a fun experience! Unfortunately the past few times we have gone it has been very underwhelming. The ambience and the location is beautiful. Wine is good. The Ice Cuvee Rose in particular is quite special! That said, the food we have had the past few times we were there was very sub-par compared to other fine dining restaurants. There were no "Wow" factors. Vegetarian options are bland and boring. Other food was only okay. Staff were not very knowledgeable about the food nor the wine. Very overpriced for the quality of food. Hopefully they make some changes in the near future and bring themselves back up to their previous standard!

The views you can get while driving into this estate are beautiful. The views to take in while sitting on their patio for lunch, even better! We had burgers and the Cabernet gravy poutine at the BHG there. Delicious! The service here could’ve been a tad bit warmer and quicker with things like water and cutlery. However, the patio was busy and we were busy enjoying the view. The wine tasting here was a fairly basic one. Choice of three from their list. We tried 6 wines between the two of us. Loved the ice wines. Hard to pick between the Vidal and Cabernet franc ice wine here - they’re both so good! The rosé was a really nice easy drinking one too! Our host was very knowledgeable and hospitable.

Was on vacation in Toronto and got introduce to your ICE Wine at the St. Lawrence Market. At The Airport I bought your Vidal Blanc ICE WINE. I just drank it after eating ice cream sundae. It was excellent. I am so sorry it was the 200 ml and not the larger bottle. I'll have to invest in a few to be shipped to Guyana, South America. Again Thanks for the experience. Yolanda Kendall from Guyana.

The food and the ???? is spectacular our tour guide Mat was awesome a+++++ service

Lyndsay Adamson

Exceeded expectations! True fine dining. Atmosphere was lovely! Seating is limited so it was a very quiet, intimate atmosphere. Food was spectacular, very interesting flavour combinations. Enjoyed the complimentary house-made bread, as well as the addition of an amuse bouche taster at the opening and palate cleansers between courses. We ordered one starter to share and they sent us two at no extra charge. The servers were reserved but not unfriendly, and I don't mind non-intrusive service. There's also a place to leave your wine purchases and coats. In the warmer months, there's also an outdoor area to enjoy before your meal.

Went for wine tasting yesterday for my girlfriends birthday. We had a group of 8 so our party needed 2 tables and the only ones available were those without umbrella's which was understandable. Eventually one table with an umbrella became free and our 2nd group was able to move over when they asked their server. Later 2 more tables with an umbrella opened up and just to be courteous before asking to move we looked to see if anyone was waiting to be seated at the front, and there was no one. So one of our friends from my table that my girlfriend was in went up to ask a server if we could move as two of us had a fair complexion and we're burning under the sun. The server went up to the supervisor if it's alright to move us and she replied to the server with "no, there are no empty tables" without even looking around as she stared at her clipboard, not even knowing the table who asked was right in front of her hearing what she said even though there were 2 tables available. We observed this supervisor wondering if she would even check on us to see if we were alright under the sun, and for about 10 min we noticed she would check on the tables with only Caucasian/white people. Never once did she look our way a table of asians or another group that came in which had only POC. A white couple asked if they could move and we're treated much better than us. Also when one of our tablemates couldn't drink as they were the designated driver, they were given an alcohol free menu. When the server returned with our orders he had given our friend a different drink as one of their original choices wasn't available, giving him apple juice instead of asking if they would like to choose another drink. All of this had ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful and exciting experience for my girlfriends birthday who paid for all of us to enjoy it with her. We were met with dreadful service that wasn't worth the money she paid for. As I manage a fine-dining establishment myself I always observe everything that goes on in this field and any place I go to. And I can see from other reviews that gave it a low rating its not uncommon for POC's to be neglected.

We visited on 21 Feb 2020, and we found the price for the tour quite expensive ($35 p.p.) so we just went for a wine tasting. We were both startled with the terrible service/experience. Paul (the bar tender) maybe had a bad day, because he didn't feel like explaining anything, just gave us a menu and asked what we wanted. No small talk, no explanation of the wines. Just staring until we ordered, had to ask specifically about the info from the wines, and it all felt very inconvenient for him. I had the regular wines (not the ice wines) and didn't think of the wines being very special. Nice building tho :)

Doug Anderson

Restaurant is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were a group of 6 and ordered a la carte. Everything was done with a light hand and respect for flavors and fresh foods. Beautifully presented. We've been here a few times over the years and it just gets better

Hsiang-Fu Jan

I visited here during the winter season and signed up for the marshmallow and wine event in their backyard. Definitely recommend this for anyone who visits during the winter has their marshmallows are made in-house with ice wine! Other than that, their wine as we all know is quite exceptional as well!

Grieta Allison

We had our first wine tasting tour this weekend and my husband and I had the best time! One of the wine tasting guys (younger, super friendly and amazing) - I can't believe I forgot his name - will blame the wine:) made our wine tasting experience memorable and successful :) We adventured out of our well known wine comfort zone and brought home some of our new favorites! Beautiful winery with amazing and knowledgeable people working there! Thank you!!

Samantha Mascarenhas

I've been here twice. The first time, last fall, was part of a wine tour and we stopped in for one glass plus an appetizer which was delicious. I really enjoyed that experience, especially overlooking the vast vineyards. Recently I went for dinner and sat in the dining area. It was very underwhelming. Our waiter was friendly but service was overall slower, and there wasn't really any ambiance, although most people were sitting outside on the patio. We ordered charcuterie as an appetizer, and it was just ok. Their signature dish is a lobster linguine for $50, which apparently guests travel far and wide for, but I felt like it could've been a dish from Kelsey's. The pork belly was also very average. We were really excited to try this restaurant and I was surprised at our experience, or lack thereof.

Edmond Shum

Great wine tour. Unique experience with the ice wine bar made of ice blocks. Restaurant delivered good service, wine and food.

Mag M

Beautiful estate

Shiv Tewarie

Peller estate wine tour is pretty good one! Really nice estate and get 4 wine samples!

YING JIE

Fantastic lunch & wine tasting experience. Atmosphere is awesome. Honestly I prefer the lamb than their signature dish lobster linguine. But still worth the try since probably only gonna visit here once anyway.

Had a great experience here in May with my boyfriend. We had received a 2 for 1 wine tour coupon and got to have a personal tour with one of the tour guides. Our guide was very helpful with describing tasting notes and did a fantastic job of answering all our questions. Being both exclusive red wine drinkers, our guide helped us learn to appreciate the different notes in both white and ice wines. We even got to have a few extra samples at the end of the tour to compare ice wines. After this tour, we have developed a deeper understanding and interest in the art of wine tasting and have started expanding our palates and learning about the different grapes and production processes. If we lived in Canada, we would love to subscribe to their wine club.

Sonia Sadhwani

My husband and I made an impromptu decision to visit Peller Estates for a tour, and boy were we happy with the decision! The location was breathtakingly beautiful, and had a very warm, comforting aura about it. We booked a tour, and our guide Jeff was fantastic. He explained the family's origin, how the business came about and how much care and focus goes into each bottle that they produce. I'll probably sign up for their membership this coming year and take advantage of the half-off wine tours! :)

Hennah

I love wine. I tasted three type of the ice wine and then I paid $7 for fee. The garden was large and the vineyard can't see the end.

Tasha K

Waited a long time for our tasting even though we had a reservation, but it was nice enough

Graham Williamson

They charge you taste their wines, but only let you try their lower tier wines. The quality of those would t encourage me to purchase anything.

Nicole Patterson

Spectacular view. Good food. Rude service. When we arrived they demanded my phone number...no explanation. Covid or no covid not cool. Waitress put our drinks on the table and very gruffly told us that she was only announcing what they were and put them all in front of my Mother. Very weird...covid or no covid. You have to pay for water...which given how expensive it is and that we did order alcohol was off putting. When they brought the food out the other waitress was quite rude when we pointed out that we needed plates for the chachuterie board. Given that we are from Niagara on the lake it is a shame as we will not come back

Rick Pelletier

Beautiful location! Excellent wines. Patio was quite nice. Very thorough on contact tracing but quite streamlined for getting in.

Denis A.

Really the best winery! Incomparable wine experience and amazing dinner!!

Julia Zimmer

We had a wonderful tour (thanks Katie) of the winery. Our family from Germany was here visiting and thoroughly enjoyed sampling and learning about the history of the Peller family and the process of wine making. The ice wine room was an amazing addition to the tour. It has been two years since we have been. Highly recommend and we will be back soon as we are now Peller wine members!

weber luo

Walk-in at bar & grill, great service and delicious food, enjoy the open area in a nice day.

Robert Longphee

Fantastic experience. Amazing staff and attention to details. The food and pairings were spot on.

Alexander Khvatov

Knowledgeable tour guide. Multiple interesting discoveries about wine, overall a diverse an a curious experience! Out of the three wine tours my wife and I have been to in Vienna and Toronto, this one taught us the most about tasting wine properly. Haven't been to other Niagara wineries, but as a standalone review - definitely recommend this place.

Maria Anafel

My favorite winery in Ontario. Had wine tour and tasting, it's an amazing experience. Ice wine is my all time favorite and knowing how they harvest the grapes, it's worth the money. Also had lunch here and it was superb, with a view of the vineyard.

Mike Lowrey

First time in Peller estate for wine tasting tour and I had a great time. I learned so much and even signed up for club membership. Beautiful property

Martin Anderson (MartyInTheMix)

Somewhat disappointing, came here on a wine tasting tour, this winery felt like you were in a retail store. The staff seemed more interested in sell merchandise/accessories rather than the actual wine. I am not wine expert by any means by the staff's knowledge seemed to be lacking... Try Two Sisters Winery, overall better in EVERY aspect.

Vincent sg

Nice place to visit with wine tasting

Pritam Banerjee

Awesome place to check out. A awesome winery with awesome people around. Get a winery tour and buy a bottle. Their wines are one of the best . Meet Geoff and June. They are such a sweet hearts. :)

We are Wine Club members who have been going to Peller Estates restaurant for 15 years, driven by the incredible atmosphere of the restaurant. This has not changed. We had dinner last night overlooking the vineyard on a warm June night - a beautiful setting. The food however, has gone downhill. In pursuit of being a high profile restaurant, the food has become overly fancy, difficult to execute and not tasty. We are the type of couple that never take food back and will very rarely complain, but after a string of hit&miss food as well as last night's poor meal, I am writing this review as were are just so disappointed. A $44 strip loin with woodland mushrooms, goat cheese and potato terrine - pretty simple - arrived room temperature, the steak having been cooked with no caramelization of the crust - it tasted as if it was poached, i.e. no flavor. What looked and tasted like tomato paste was rubbed over the top. Dessert arrived with the ice cream almost melted and the cheese plate had accompaniments of bacon relish and cubes of wine jello, served by a young "handler" other than our waiter who could only give the names of 2 of the 5 cheeses, without any other info. Heard about fresh fruit accompanying a cheese plate? Maybe some nice crackers other than plain slices of dried out bread? Our 3 course dinner took 2 1/2 hours. Twice we were left looking for our waiter. He never asked about the food. Yes we had a great appetizer, and the wines are good quality, but overall our meal was a great "miss" following several other hit & misses. Sadly we are rethinking ever going to the restaurant again.

Arash Behbood

I really love this winery. The building is very beautiful and their winetasting room is very spacious. Their private tasting room is magnificant. Make sure to take a walk outside around the pond if the weather is good. Their wines is probably amongst the best wines in Niagara region

Kim Parker

Great selection of wine and gifts.

Emily Phillips

Loved our experience. Wine was excellent. Jill was a great tour guide and answered all of our questions! Highly recommend!

John Williams

This was a great experience for my wife and me. We had a wonderful time and the tasting was excellent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and I actually learned something in a fun way. The ice room was fantastic and freezing. I went in without the parka and lasted for about 5 minutes. Great way to spend a relaxing hour.

Aleksandrs S.

Great wine, very friendly staff. No chairs for wine tasting though.

Melissa Langis

Just got back from our weekend in Niagara on the Lake. We booked a package at 124 on Queen and chose Peller for our 3 course dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic but the service is purely why I give two stars. Taylor, the hostess at the front and her manager were incredibly rude and seemed pretentious (perhaps because we’re younger then their usual patrons). They were going to make us leave the estate and return before their last seating in half an hour due to us accidentally leaving our reservation cards behind. They get patrons from 124 every evening, and have been paid for our meal, yet they turn us away and basically said “good luck getting back in time with your cards before our last seating”. Our waitress took about 15 minutes to even greet us and give us water, then another 15 before our wine order was taken. Our waitress, however, seemed to never come back from the kitchen and another gentlemen had to “help” serve us. Overall we were there over an hour before receiving any food. Staff were very aloof and inattentive, we seemed like an after thought. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you’re a large party that will spend thousands

Rich Linsangan

The winery tour is amazing. Very informative. Faith, our tour guide is really amazing, very pleasant and knowledgeable. Faith is the epitome of "doing what you love & loving what you do.

Kimia Moshiri

Absolutely loved their great atmosphere. They have heated patios which is very lovely. We did their wine tasting and it was perfect. Would definitely come back!

Robin Pope

I took the day off from work (rarely take a day off) and spent the day in Niagara with friends. We arrived at 2pm for lunch (had called 4 times an hour prior to arriving and no one answered the phone). I was eagerly encouraged by another friend to try Peller. The first 2 courses were sub par. The soup was cold. There were only 2 servers working in the dining room. No hostess or manager greeting guests. All of the tables around us were dirty for most of our meal. (2 hours). Thankfully, the server was pleasant. Our lunch bill for 3 was $336. Certainly not the experience one would expect for this amount of money or establishment. Very disappointing!!! I recommend trying another restaurant at another winery.

Mark Cassell

Wine is nice and grounds are beautiful. Felt they spent a little too much time trying to get us to join their club

Ravinder Singh (Bhazo)

Always a great meal. Our servers Stan and Dale were attentive. Enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. Jason and team crafted some amazing dishes. Enjoyed this as part of my 12th Anniversary and I have always had a good meal and time here. The wine pairings were spot on.

Jeanene Richards

Lovely ambiance and great tasting wine

Johan Daniel

Great staff excellent tour with Zoe, fine cuisine. End up buying a Rosé and one Ice wine , was extremely pleasant. My only regret was not to get a membership but I will definitely get one next time, I loved it ????????

Andrew M

Did the Greatest Winery Tour. The tour guide, Katie, was super friendly and very informative! The tour itself was fantastic and offered a very nice sample of Peller wines.

Randy Mack

Winery: several years ago I had a fabulous experience tasting Peller wines in their Estate Room and now I am a wine club member. Definitely book the Estate room and try their signature reds. Drastically better experience than fighting it out for the regular tasting on the main floor. Restaurant: tonight my wife and I had the tasting menu at Peller’s restaurant. The food, service and wine-pairing were all great. Clear five stars.

Dan Paul Nguyen

Great place to visit, especially during the ice wine festival! Those cork chairs! So cute! But expensive :( ($290)

Miaoxin Sean Wang

The stuff are very nice and the food is good.

nancy bieritz

Terrible customer service. Specifically Bob. Rude, no personality, offered no info. on the tastings. Bob should not be dealing with customers. We actually left early without getting all that we paid for due to his rudeness. Thank goodness for Reif. It Changed our attitude on Canadian winerys. Lovely people, wine and atmosphere. Spent a ton of money there too.

Gen Boulay

Beautiful day...excellent service

Marika Watson

Good experience, did a tasting with Tibor and he was so knowledgable!

Jon Campbell

1) Walk in 2) Take a table 3) Choose 6 of 10 wine choices from a menu 4) Drink wine 5) Leave This a commercial establishment meant to 'heard the cattle' through. Impersonal and rushed.

Marcus M

Went here during a weekday. Was busier than expected because of a tour group. Didn't really get to try their wines, but came out with a couple of bottles. The environment and setting of this winery was really nice and quaint.

Barry Ip

Nice environment, good quality food pair with wine. Tried the Sunday harvest menu this time. Will come back for the 5 course menu

Brent Cornelissen

Exceptional dinner. 5 course is the way to go. Don't be shy.

Neil Law

When we first arrived we were half hour early but the hostess wouldn't seat us until the "rest" of the 4:30 reservations were seated. There appeared to be only one and after 15 minutes I went to ask again. Restaurant was not all that busy so don't know what the issue was. Not a good start. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day and the scenery was nice. We ordered 2 appetizers with a glass of Peller Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was fair but not great. My wife's lobster linguine was delivered but not mine (marinated grilled octopus). We waited a couple of minutes and they had to go get it. The linguine was nothing special and there were some lobster shell bits in it. My octopus was delicious. For the main course we ordered the prosciutto wrapped chicken and the Ontario rack of lamb. But were delicious and well presented. We had a bottle of the private reserve cab sauvignon which was very good and went well with our meals. Only complaint was there was very little goat cheese with the chicken. Dessert was strawberry shortcake and salted caramel cheesecake. Both were delicious and a good size for us (not large). The server gave us a bottle of the cab sauvignon to compensate for the errors during the first course which was much appreciated. We will certainly be going back to this restaurant.

Kasey Dussourd

Beautiful views, great food. The manager Candace is so helpful and sweet. She is awesome. I recommend this place 100% if you just want a relaxing day trying new wines ❤

Jilgin Williams

What a lovely place. Highly recommend, prices for food is farely priced out. Service was great, need to reorganize the seating number coasters.

Kevin

My wife and I did the five-course tasting menu with wine paring, which was the most I’ve ever spent on a dinner for two in my life. It turned out to be approximately $410 including tax and tip for the two of us. The pairing was phenomenal. I have always been a white wine drinker, but the pairings that they did made me appreciate red wine for the first time. I’m not going to ruin any surprises on what was on the menu though. We’re probably only going to do it the once because of the cost, but it was a nice experience and introduced me to the fact that there are some red wines that I like.

Tavvy

We attended a 4-course dinner here and it was fantastic! Very attentive staff, nice wines and a great atmosphere. We had the Potato Salad with Prosciutto, Roasted Squash, Tomato and Eggplant soup, black pepper beef tenderloin and ice wine chocolate ganache for desert. The only feedback I would leave is that the beef tenderloin felt underseasoned and the fruit flies were certainly prominent. Very little and easy to ignore things in both cases, but worth noting

Jojo Thibs-Aud

Too commercial and very busy...Staff are so by the book they can't or they are not allowed to look like they are enjoying themselves. This was are 4th stop today and by far the least liked.. So many more smaller and friendlier wineries close by, I would just avoid this one all together.

Nadia addesi

Awful service. Accused of false accusations. Spent over 400 dollars and we’re treated like absolute garage. Spoke to the manager “jake” who assumed he has so much authority and power and talked down to all 6 of us. Wine tour guide named Sam kicked out 3 members of our group for no reason while there was a group of people who couldn’t even walk and he did not have an issue with them. Continued to serve us after he made false accusations and then made the decision to take it to his manager once he served us. Ling is very disrespectful and continued to speak very rudely to us. Only good thing about this winery was John at the front.

Steve Berger

Wonderful meal...wonderful service. We really enjoyed the tasting menu. All fresh and yummy. Favorites were the chicken liver pate, the cranberry basil spritzer, the lobster linquini, and the truffle popcorn/white chocolate snow/red wine butter ice cream. Great way to celebrate!

Garry Lam

Probably the biggest winery in NOTL. Nice setup and very nice staff. Only issue is with it being big means it's busy and less intimate. Staff are awesome which makes the experience good.

Zenith Taskin

Came here for lunch at the Winery Restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Our hostess Shay and server Duncan were very kind and most accommodating. We got a table with a view and near the fireplace which was the best of both worlds. The food was incredible. We made reservations for dinner the same day because we loved it so much and Shay went out of her way to try to reserve the same table - though we didn't get it in the end, her communication and effort were fantastic. Love the food, the staff and ambience!

jeff henderson

Had a great time on the weekend with Faith Nichol as our art and wine tour guide, she is very knowledgeable on different wines and the history behind peller estates. And we had great fun painting and sampling. We are actually locals from the area and this was our first time trying something like that. And could not be happier it was a great night big 5 stars from us jeff and Ana

Raymond Yeung

Amazing beautiful grounds. Great selection. Portobello burger was delicious.

Rachel Berten

Beautiful landscape. Ate at the barrel grill, good food, great wine. Did the wine tour, you get 4 free tastings. Our tour guide was informative and bubbly! The ice wine was great and 10 Below was very neat, they provide you with warm jackets and gloves before going in.

Vatika Mohanty

Went there for a wine tasting on a Tuesday afternoon and the service we received was amazing. Cory was great and the service was fast and above par. Had all the answers to our questions about the menu and the flight tasting menu. The overall scenery is beautiful too since you can see the grape trees in the background from the restaurant and patio area. The icewine, was definitely their best.

Matthew Fleming

Did a wine tasting but was not really talked to during it. I tried asking a question about one of the wines they had but the man helping me said he had to leave to give a tour. Overall the wine was good, however they charged me for 3 bottles of wine when I only purchased 2. I only discovered this when I was reviewing my receipts for my return through U.S. customs. Not a great experience overall, and given the look and feel of the place I would have expected better.

Mihalea Istrofor

Beautiful place!

Dan Brandis

went on a wine tour yesterday, very worth it. they teach you pretty much all the basics and then they take you into the 10 below room, coolest thing ever. loved the tour, ice wine was amazing.

Emese Kis

Our 40th anniversary here with the surprise tasting and wine pairings. Excellent! Thank you Chef and Sandra, our sommelier!

Heather Wise

Wine tour was good but overpriced. The service at dinner was good, but the fish and mushrooms tasted moldy and had no flavor. I think the mushroom was rotten in the dish. Worst fish I have ever had in my life. Soup had no flavor. Waitress hovered over our shoulder while we wrote in the tip. I highly recommend avoiding the food here.

Anesha Premraj

Beautiful building and vineyard! Absolutely loved being there. Tasting was very good, semi-knowledgeable staff. Had a mishap with a bill, I was charged for something I did not purchase but they were kind about the issue. Restaurant was gorgeous but beware of small food portions and high prices. Overall great wine and views!

James A

The tasting menu at the on site restaurant is an amazing experience. Definitely not an everyday treat. But still worth the price. The dishes are not only great to look at, but are a definite pleasure to eat. The wine pairings were well thought out and Stan is the man for describing everything. Even to a layman!

Stephen Roselli

Absolutely gorgeous location. Drove out here from the main Niagara Falls area and it felt like we had really entered the countryside. The area surrounding Peller Estates is absolutely gorgeous (making for an incredible drive) and the location itself is beautiful. Had the pleasure of going on a wine tour here and had an amazing time, definitely recommend for the ice wine alone!

Alexis Jieun Bae

Great patio with the view of beautiful vineyard. We tried patio menus including burgers, tomato salad and fries and everything was so good. Would love to come back for wine tasting!

Hamman Vacations

Highly, highly, highly recommend!! My wife Leah did a ton of research on all the different vineyards and this one stood out primarily because of the amazing ice room. The ice cream was spectacular and such an amazing experience. Our tour guide was absolutely incredible and so knowledgeable. It was just my wife and I so it was almost like a private tour. Of course we were here in January so it’s not very busy. Recommend! The grounds are gorgeous!

Nick Habes

Always a fun experience at this winery. A long time staple in NOTL. One of the larger wineries in the area. Beautiful facilities and views. $35 Canadian per person for the wine tour which is more than I'm willing to pay. Comes with 3 or 4 tastes. Rosé Sparkling wine is fantastic!

Clay Patterson

We really enjoyed our tour. The facility was excellent and our guide, Jill was an expert. We will certainly be back with friends later this month.

Rocky Oliver

Informative, personal tour. Jill was great

Paula Coelho

The food is tasty, but overpriced. Ingredients and service are not high quality. The wine sold in the restaurant is the same sold in the store but it costs 2x more.

Maple Green Tree Services

Waited 40 minutes to find out our order at the Grill, at our request, was never entered into the system but paid for. 50 minutes later from ordering we finally received our food and an hour later after our initial order we received our drinks, which we couldn't consume after our meals as we had to drive home and can not drink and drive. We received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine due to the extended waiting time, which AGAIN we could not drink as we had to drive home. Extremely disappointed.

MARIO SOSIC

Beautiful place to spend time around and taste great wine ???? ????

Amy Dew

This has to be my favourite winery so far in Niagara Falls - the ice wine bar is absolutely amazing our friend group has visited a hand full of times and always have such a great time. The staff are always fun to talk to and let us know a lot of fun facts and information about the winery, the history of the area and Niagara Falls itself. Every time we have ended up in niagara on the lake this is a definite stop.

Cory Slykerman

Good food. Cheap service. Waitress lacked manners in general and obviously did not want to be there. A shame...

Mina Farid

Amazing place for a nice short stop. Highly recommend the tour and the restaurant. Staff is very nice too

Matt Helsel

Tremendous experience. Very knowledgeable staff. The ice wine is very unique and sets this tour apart from most. Beautiful grounds. Next time, we'll stay for dinner.

P McGrath

We Had the Pleasure of visiting Peller Estates this Past Sunday , and taking part in Wine tour Absolutely Fantastic Experience, Tour Guide Peter was Amazing !!! 10 Stars Thank You , Patrick and Marie -Claude

Alyssa Giroux

Went for the first time today and can honestly say it was a great experience. My significat other and I did the tour and tasting. The tour guide Danielle was very fun and informative about the Vinyard and company. Would definitely recommend to check this place out if you're looking to do wine tours in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Thanks again to Danielle for providing a great experience !

Dmitry Petrov

We were there for lunch, the burgers and the view on the vineyards were great!

Ryan Williams

Do NOT BOOK with Pellar Estates. They are EXTREMELY unorganized and after 2 hours of trying to book a tour, we showed up to be told the tour was filled 5 minutes ago and we couldn't get in. We were told there were 3 spots left and we could get into the 630 tour, 30 minutes before we arrived. Peller estates was the only bad experience of our stay at Niagara on the lake. Worst part about being let down, they didn't even mention the patio was open to get a drink while we waited for another 30 dollar cab back to our hotel. Instead we waited in the heat, watching people walk in to do a tour that became "overbooked" but a rich couple in the same predicament as us miraculously found a spot to get into the tour. This has ZERO embellishment unfortunately. What a horrible experience! Middle class commoners like us get treated like dogs in a snobby winery like Pellar Estates! 90% of my reviews are 5 stars because I give credit where credit is due. To be turned away after spending 3o dollars on a cab, telling them it's our anniversary and we spent 700 dollars on a hotel because it's such a special anniversary for us, and watching people get in booking 5 minutes ago when we booked 30 minutes ago made this my ABSOLUTE worst experience at any business EVER!

lauren brachear

This estate is absolutely beautiful. Lori was our tour guide still training this was her first tour almost all of it on her own ( another guide was present to monitor) she did a phenomenal job she is very bubbly, outgoing, and knows her information very well about the winery. We gained a lot of knowledge about the process and this specific estate with multiple samples on the way. Our favorite part was tasting the icewine in the 10 below ice bar. The ice bar is a wonderful addition to the winery for an experience in the area you cant find anywhere else except here. If you are in the Niagra Falls area this is a wine tour you MUST visit! Thank you Lori for a wonderful tour experience and well wishes to your future with Peller, they are lucky to have you :)

J. Darren Ings

Always an experience that is first in class from all aspects in food, wine, and service! A++++

Jonathan James

We didn't realize quite how posh this place was until we showed up. I booked through Open Table, that was easy. We had the 5 course with pairings, and the 7 course without. We were assured that the timing would not be an issue. Well it wasn't a problem per se, but each course was very slow to arrive. I was expecting a leisurely meal, but it was past 3 hours when we left. Fine for a romantic dinner, but our son was with us since we were traveling. So mostly our fault, however the table across from us started after us doing the same courses and finished well before us. Anyway. The food was creative, and the service was attentive and flexible, allowing us to go "off menu" for our fussy son. There wasn't much to dislike; asparagus and duck amuse-bouche, salmon tartar, spicy pepper soup, halibut with forest mushrooms, bacon wrapped rabbit saddle, lemon grass and ice wine granita palate cleanser, rib eye beef with waffle chips and seasonal veg, local cheese platter, an ice wine pre- dessert deconstructed smore, and finally a dessert of candied nuts, peaches, ice cream, and a "bird's nest". Phew! All were excellent. Was on the high end of expensive, but oh well life is to short to eat bad food, right?

William Lui

Went there last night with my wife for our 12th anniversary dinner. Great service, friendly and professional servers. Foods served are exceptionally well and the wine pairings are awesome too. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Fernando S

Favorite restaurant in southern Ontario...the take home meals are awesome. Perfect date with farm to table foods.

Ayan T

The on-site restaurant had some of the best tasting food we have ever had. The house-made burger was at least 1 pound of beef that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best burgers I have tried in my life. It DEFINITELY soaked up the wine I was drinking throughout the day. My fiancée got the salmon pizza which was also delicious but a tad bit salty. We washed it down with a tri-flight of white wine which was delicious. Next time we visit, we will definitely be bringing our bikes so we can tour around the other vineyards. Put this on your must visits because you will be blown away by the estates. Peller Estates, Trius, and the newly established Wayne Gretzky estates are all owned by Andrew Peller Ltd.

Nicole Kristen

This experience was by far the worst. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday (after visiting Two Sisters, which was amazing) and the treatment and lack of professionalism was horrible. First, I couldn't book back to back (only 20 min wine tasting so I thought I could book another to stay longer) but NOPE! Second, they bring you upstairs, they give you the menu, you order your three wines, they bring it to you and they leave. No Explanation. No Wine Knowledge. No Customer Service. Our appointment was for 2:30 pm, we got there at 2:20 pm and were out by 2:28 pm .. If that doesn't tell you something, then idk what will. A wine tasting is supposed to be an EXPERIENCE. They did not want to create that..

We visited this winery and it was amazing. Staffs were excellent. It is a must go place when you are in Niagara on the Lake. Highly recommended.

Robert Longmire

Perfect! Go here! Taylor, our server, was the best and the food and wine is amazing.

Varissa Mazzoli

We had an amazing experience and tasting today. Caitlin was an exceptional hostess and server. She was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Definitely a shoutout to Caitlin with a C. Hope to have her serve us again ????????????????

Lovely atmosphere and dining experience!

Nimsi Guzman

Over the weekend , I went to Niagara on the lake and decided to go to a winery. Not knowing which one to go, randomly selected Peller Estate. Best choice ever! Took the wine tour with Arienne. She was awesome, well informed, well versed, knowledgeable not only viticulture but also oenology. Her tour was educational and fun . If ever in the Niagara on the lake area, check out the tour with Arienne . Best ever!!! If you like dessert wine Ice Wine it is, it’s authentic and good otherwise, the Riesling is another good choice .

Kat Lok

Very decent food, drink and service. Had a great time there for lunch.

Sam Varghese

One of the best Estates to go wine tasting! The ice wine is simple delicious. Make sure you check out their ice cellar!

Dominique Descoeurs

My friends and I had a blast on the Greatest Winery Tour. Candace was a great tour host! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We followed this by having lunch on the patio. Great food and staff.

Shawn Filion

We celebrated our anniversary with a supper at Peller Estates. It was wonderful. The whole staff was very attentive, our server Stan was awesome. We enjoyed both our first courses, main courses and desserts! Thank you for being great hosts!

Michael Donovan

Excellent. On the must do list.

Vicky Marcotte

Dinner in the wine cellar is an incredible experience. 10 below room and marshmallows canapés are a MUST !!! Don't go without????

Shireen McCleary

Lovely estate with gorgeous grounds and an outdoor patio area. The tasting room is huge, with wine-themed gifts available for purchase as well, and only $8 for 3 tastings.

roshan rajmohan

We were greeted by Ling, a Peller representative. She was phenomenal, knowledgeable and the best customer service we’ve come across in awhile! Took care of our entire family - shout out to Ling for making our family trip to Niagara awesome!

Sarah Doherty

Stopped at Peller Estates on the way to our Air Bnb after driving in to Niagara on the Lake from Toronto for a weekend away, with the intention of picking up some wine to enjoy that evening. We tasted a couple of wines that we weren't overly impressed with and asked to sample one more flight (between 4 of us), at which point we were treated incredibly poorly by Jill at the tasting counter (she was rude and condescending, made us feel ashamed of wanting to try another wine, ignored us for 20+ minutes while we wondered about how to pay for the tasting). The $8 tasting fee would ordinarily have been waived if we had purchased wine like we had originally planned but at this point we decided we were better off just going to the LCBO. Thankfully Mike at the cash out area was very helpful and said we could pay for our tastings there and when he asked why we decided not to purchase wine and heard the story, he was lovely enough to waive the tasting fee. Overall put a bad taste in our mouths and put a bit of a damper on the start of what was meant to be a fun weekend away.

Food was absolutely delicious! Sandra was the server and she was very kind and extremely professional when it came for the customer service and made regular check if we're okay with the food or not. I'd recommend Pan seared Chicken for the main and double chocolate cake for the desert.

Dianne McComb

Culinary delight, impeccable service

Roe theboston

We had an amazing tasting with Candice! Her personality and enthusiasm really made the experience that much better. Returned the next day to purchase wine, she remembered us and was happy to help out again!

Henry Ivanov

An absolutely wonderful experience. The service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable; her recommendations were spot on. I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend this winery to all my wine loving friends.

Kandi Laine

Been to this winery twice. Both experiences have been top notch! We went pre-pandemic and during the pandemic. I cannot recommend this place enough. The winery itself is impressive and beautiful. The selection of wines are amazing and delicious. The staff have always been friendly and the tours guides super knowledgeable. In fact, all the staff are knowledgeable and always happy to help and answer any questions. If you go, you must do the Icewine tour as it's fantastic. Wonderful experiences at this winery!

Priyanka Dhir

FANTASTIC wine tour experience in the heart of Niagara Falls! My special guests and I very well enjoyed the tour and the Ice Wine Cellar was TOP NOTCH -- we had never seen anything like it before !!! We had such a lovely experience with our guide who kept us all entertained and was a pleasure to be hosted by him. We couldn't have asked for a better wine tasting day trip! Thank you for hosting us and providing us with a wide range of delicious winery! DOUBLE thumbs up!! ???????? ????

Cathie Robins

We went there for a dinner and wine pairing. Our server, Christina, and the rest of the staff were fabulous. The wine and the food were top notch. I highly recommend this winery!

G20 Research Group 2016

My husband and I went for a tasting. I was impressed more with the service than the wine itself. John helped us at the front desk. He was very kind and suggested the ice wine tasting. We aren't really fans of ice wine but he Recommened it so we gave it a try. Very happy with the recommendation. We had sometime to kill and he suggested the tasting room. We tried several of the red, white and sparking wines. We surprisingly were pleased. The selection at the winery is much better than the Peller wines in LCBO that we are used to. The gentleman that was serving us the wine was very knowledgeable. At one point half the tasting room was full but he was still quick and didn't forget us. Again, great service, I'd recommend stopping by even if you think you know Peller wines.

Shane S

Excellent choice, really enjoyed the patio at the Barrel grill. I really enjoyed the burger was amazing, definitely one of the best burgers I have had in a long while (the smoking barrel). Excellent vineyard views and it really made the experience. Despite not having a steak on the menu and having to make a reservation for the patio right next to it, I really enjoyed the estate! Good Luck!

Chris Wyskiel

We’ve been to Peller Estates on numerous occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. Today we had lunch today at the Grill. It would have been helpful to have someone at the long line handing out the menus. Luckily the person in front of us passed along the menu. As we got closer to the cashier the menus are found pegged to a pole. I should point out this is much the same process as ordering at a fast food restaurant. We ordered the vintage burger and fries. Very disappointed. The burger arrived on a stale bun with a thin slice of what I might conclude was cheddar cheese and a piece of lettuce - barely edible. The fries were mediocre. The entire meal was over priced. One other issue is that there is no pos system at the so called bar. If you wish to have another glass of wine or other beverage you need to stand back in the line. Other than the lovely grounds not sure we’ll eat at the Grill again.

Garrett Metzler

Just had a wonderful tour that included their sub zero ice wine room which was spectacular. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the tour guide Mark did an excellent job not only teaching us about how the wine was made but the history behind the vineyard. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, I'm not much of a wine drinker and still had a great time!

Wendy Li

One of my favorite wineries, Peller estate is one of the biggest in Niagara Falls region. Lots of space to host events and weddings and the front lawn is very long so you can see vineyards coming in. The restaurant at this winery is also very good! Did the chefs table with them one year and really enjoyed it.

Angela Alburei

This winery was so much fun and you should really make time to come here. We went on the tour that they offer here and the tour guide was super knowledgeable about everything and really interesting to listen to. We were in no rush at all which I liked and we had a lot of time to enjoy our samples. The best part is definitely the bar made of ice! It really made our trip memorable.

Ryan Meghdies

This wine tour was all about self promotion. I've been on quite a few wine tours, especially in Niagara but Peller Estates takes the cake. Did you know you can buy their stocks? How about their hotel? And hear 20x about how you can sign up for their membership. That aside, the facilities are nice. Their wine was not something we personally enjoyed. The ice room felt different from their website (look for user uploaded photos for a more realistic idea of what to expect). We still made the most of it and enjoyed ourselves. And aside from the hard sales approach the tour guide was nice.

A. Chamberlain

Friend and I did the Greatest Wine tour on Saturday afternoon with Corey. Fantastic guide with lots of info - learned so much (and the wine tastings were good too!). Icewine was definitely the best of the bunch. Boutique was super-busy, being a beautiful weekend.

Lori Merkley

We booked tonight for our Anniversary! I am celiac, the bread was delicious I have to say, however my main course was not. I had the salmon which they did with lentils and vegetables. It was swimming in a base of tasteless liquid, and was flavourless to say the least! I was so disappointed given the price and the fact that I had salmon the night before at The epicurean in Niagara-on-The-Lake and it was absolutely amazing!!! and lower priced!

Fei Wang

The tour is best bang for the buck. They include wine tasting (including ice wine)as part of the deal and you get decent discount for the wine shop after. We had great time with our tour. Excellent.

Eric M

Ambiance, food and wine is great, tip to travel arrange transportation otherwise Uber is the best in the area

Ryan Scott

I took my Mpm here for Mothers Day. I've been there before. We had the 5 course menu . Every single aspect of the meal was amazing except the main course. The pickerel was awful , no seasoning. Very poorly executed. I will return because my experience in the past and part of this one were top notch.

M CB

Very nice winery and had a chance to eat here as well. If I were to compare to other places, I would say this place was more quiet which I liked. Great for adults and if you for whatever reason have kids with you, I'd opt for another place. The wine was really good as well. We tried one of their burgers and lobster poutine. The lobster poutine was really good and flavorful. They set up the place nice even with Covid happening. Very open and good distance amongst other guests.

Ellie Godoy

Came here to have a little girls day with my bestfriend. We had David as a host and tour guide. He did such an amazing job bringing the group together. He did mention it was his first tour alone and he did a fantastic job giving us all the information we needed to know. Great job David! Thank you and we will definitely be back again!

Aaron Manzanares (Sir. Aaron John)

Nice fun place, staff are really nice ????

Anurag Dhawan

Participated in a wine pairing session past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the wines and learning about how best to pair them with different foods. The session was hosted in their wine library which was beautiful and run by the awesome Caitie. Had a great time. Worth the money!

Valerie D

Terrible customer service and do not appreciate people visiting. There are tons of wineries in Niagara on the Lake with extremely friendly staff and excellent customer service and will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Shaki Mohammed

Visited the Niagara Region this weekend and had the Icewine brunch at Peller. Food was amazing, had the oysters and Steel head trout. We've never had a bad experience at Peller. Top class service all the way...and the wines are heavenly!

Linda P

We had a lovely lunch here. We were a Bachelorette group of 9 girls. Service was attentive, fast and friendly. Food was good. I had the special that day which was duck leg confit and it was delicious. The lobster pasta was also a favourite. We enjoyed the sparkling rose and a few of us purchased the bottle. The only thing that didn't make this a 5 star review was we requested chilli flakes but they told us they don't carry it.

On Dec 26th, 2021, Emily R. at the front desk at Peller Estates was condescending, discourteous, and treated my family and I with disrespect, even though I am a long time Peller wine-club member, had booked a tasting reservation there weeks prior, and have spent thousands of dollars at Peller Estates over the years. Emily R’s disrespectful and dismissive attitude alone will push me to cancel my long-time Peller wine club membership. My advice to young professionals (especially young professionals of colour, like myself), is to turn around and leave Peller Estates, especially if you see Emily R. at the front desk. In fact, don’t bother visiting Peller Estates at all. There are many other wineries and restaurants at Niagara-on-the-Lake where you can spend your hard-earned money, and where you will be treated with courtesy and respect. On Dec 26th, 2021, I had a wine tasting booked at 3:30pm for myself and my family visiting from California, and unfortunately was running late from our previous tasting at the Gretzky property. I attempted to call Peller to let them know the situation, and no one picked up the phone at Peller’s front desk. We arrived with our kids in our arms at 3:44, and Emily R. (at the front desk) immediately said I was too late for the tasting and that she could not proceed with my reservation. She said the grace period was 15min and I showed her my phone telling her it was 3:44. She then proceeded to tell me that the grace period was actually 10min and that she already cancelled my reservation. I asked to speak with a manager and she said “no, I am part manager” (whatever that means). I asked if she could provide some courtesy for me as a wine club member, and call up to the staff to let them know the next tasting group had arrived (given that she said they were still finishing with the last tasting group), and she said no, the staff are now planning to go home. I explained that my family was visiting from California and that we tried to call Peller to let them know we would be late, and she said it didn’t matter. I also suggested, as an alternative, that they shave 4min from our tasting time (given that we were only 4min beyond the 10min grace period) and of course, she said no. She didn’t attempt to remedy the situation or provide any alternative or any courtesy, even though I am a club member. She was rude and short with me, and for a company that is supposed to pride itself on customer service, I was extremely disappointed. She then proceeded to say we could “walk around the retail store” as though that was some sort of saving grace for cancelling our reservation. After that incident, we left and mentioned what happened to our friends that work at other wineries under the Peller umbrella, and they suggested that the grace period is always 15min (not 10min), and they wondered why Emily R. would suggest that. They also said they would NEVER turn away wine club members without providing an alternative or subsequent courtesy booking, especially after cancelling a pre-booked reservation. Not once did Emily R. even attempt to look up or verify my reservation or attempt to call the staff to double check whether we could proceed - and she even incorrectly stated at one point that we DIDN’T have a reservation (even though I had booked almost a month in advance and have the email confirmations). It’s very unfortunate that we were treated this way at Peller Estates, given that we normally love the wine tastings that we’ve had in the past there, especially with Tibor, who is very courteous and knowledgeable about wines. Also, we have always appreciated the great service from Richard, Deb and Kerry-Anne at the affiliated Wayne Gretsky winery, and have never been mistreated there. Again, if Peller Estates hires people like Emily R. at their winery, then I refuse to spend my money there any longer. Young professionals of colour, be advised that you will NOT be treated with any courtesy or respect at Peller (especially by “part manager” Emily R).

Gina Hanna

Stunning property! Definitely worth taking the tour especially in warmer weather. The staff is knowledgeable and the wines are great!

Barbara Lowik

Amazing food, great wine. And what a view from the patio!

Karleen Sales

they have the best red ice wines????❄☃️

Kimberly Stefnitz

Arrived today it was very busy no bus tours and 2 ladies on the wine tasting bar and only one cashier in the boutique. Being the best winery in NOL it was not up to par with others in the area. The tasting room according to John was completely booked no room. Many people just standing around waiting for service.

Flora de Mintich

Absolutely loved it! Breathtaking and beautiful. The food was great, had the charcuterie board, salad and french fries. The view from the patio was spectacular overlooking the vineyards. The sauvignon blanc private reserve was amazing!

Esther Lu

I have to say I am disappointed by their reservation system. As their website recommended making reservation through Opentable, which i made the reservation for 5 people, when i called to confirm it again, they told me its only for 4 people. I said I have the email confirmation saying its 5 people, they argued its not their fault and telling me they are fine dining restaurant. Fine Dining !? I made reservation for 5 people and you are telling me you only can seat 4 !? I made the reservation for my mom's birthday, now i have to look for somewhere else to be able to have 5 people seating. Thanks Pellar, i would not come back to this place ever again.

Rodrigo Cugliari

The barrel house patio-bar its a lovely set up but their wait staff is a completely shame for a such a nice winery. 1st, trained your staff about your prime sale WINE, therefor teach them how to open a bottle and make your clients to taste the wine as its open, not to pouring a half a glass to all. 2nd, serving food with out have plates and cutlery it's unacceptable, we have to asked for them. 3rd, when their colleagues or friends are guest of the restaurant (day off I guess), the staff on site won't look at your table until their friends are served. I love the ambience, actually I've been at the dinning room also, and it is an amazing experience. Sorry but management should know this really bad experience we had.

Eric Byers

Amazing! The guy that did the taste testing was smart, cute and funny. They have such great wine and amazing products. The guy that did the wine tasting was awesome, just wanted to take him home with me ????.

Yves L

Did a Tour with my girlfriend and had a wonderful time. There were other couples/friends on the tour which added to the experience. The two hosts were funny and knowledgeable, and the winery itself was beautiful. The ice wine cellar was also a fun experience.

Marcella Agustina

I love going to the restaurant whether for a simple girls weekend brunch or to celebrate a good friend's wedding. Either way, they'll give you sparkling wine if you celebrate a special occasion with them. The food is amazing and staff is super attentive. I love to order the four course tasting menu, which includes dessert. For the appetizer, my favorite is the ice wine liver. For the main dish, I love to order the chicken or fish. The menu is seasonal so it changes from time to time. I'll definitely come back.

Polly Lam

Horrible experience. Would not return. We got married in Hamilton the day before and went to Peller Estate for a winery experience with the wedding party (group of 9 people). We arrived 15 mins before our reserved time slot. The server told us only two tables were available at that time, directly under the sun with no shades. We looked around the patio and noted the patio was packed and no other tables were available so we agreed to take those tables. Immediately after we sat down, two tables opened up with umbrellas that could fit our party. We asked to be moved to those tables because it was extremely hot that day (32 degrees) - server told us we cannot move tables because of COVID. Within 5 mins, 5 other tables with shades/umbrellas opened up but they just wouldn't move us to those tables. We were extremely hot and frustrated with the situation. Our chilled wine became hot real quick under the sun. What was even more ridiculous was that we saw another table got moved from one shaded table to another because they want to be closer to the view. Don't want to use the race card here - but they were white and we were Asians. If there were no tables available, I honestly would not be complaining. But while we were dying under the sun, we were staring at many many tables with shades that could be available to us so we could enjoy the wine comfortably. Everyone just had a really bad time , basically chugged to wine so we could leave the premise. This could have been completely avoided if they would just let us move to another table or bring us an umbrella. Instead, they didn't care about us because we already paid for the tickets. We paid close to $250 for this, extremely disappointed.

Bill Sanchez

Have been coming here for years and had great experiences. But, this year we stopped in for lunch at the outdoor grill and it was not good at all. We remember coming to the grill the first year it opened and it was fantastic. Fresh grilled food with a nice touch. Now it's all processed and feels commercialized. Low grade fries and burgers that were obviously pre cooked and barely kept warm. You walk up and order, tip is requested before any service is provided, and no one brings your drink until you ask and then acts like they're doing you a favor by getting it. The food came out luke warm at best. You don't get what you paid for, not that I'm looking for a bargain. The view is fabulous, and our past experience (Dec 2018) the indoor restaurant is top shelf. Dissappoined to see the outdoor grill's quality fall to this standard. Bill Ohio

Sheldon

Wonderful winery tour and tasting. Very cool ice bar! Just a 25 minute walk from central NOTL.

Michael Pulikunnel

Was looking forward to eating at the restaurant but it was very average. Nice atmosphere, decent service (although the support waiters lacked enthusiasm/energy) but the food was just very average, overall. Their signature dish, Lobster linguine was fine, but again, nothing to write home about. Expensive, too.

Christina Vandervlist

Beautiful location and spacious, pleasant interior. Very good COVID protocols, which was extremely reassuring. The food was delicious and wine was, as expected, exceptional. Minor issue with fruit flies but that's really something they can only do so much about, after all. Attentive and never intrusive waitstaff. Delightful!

Danielle Volinsky

A beautiful winery and delicious wines. The tour provided 4 tasting; white, red and two ice wines. Our guide, Will, was knowledgeable about the wines and the process. Donna, set up our tour and made sure our whole group was comfortable; even those that just relaxed in the lobby. The ice bar is an amazing part of the tour. Thanks for making our whole family, younger and older, feel welcome!!

Tash R

Phaedra is amazing! Great customer service and recommendations! Will definitely return.

Santino DePetrillo

Not great, charcuterie board was light on the meat/cheese and heavy on the bread. Also found a large hair on the board but they did re make the board without hesitation. Server was great and very attentive.

James Cutler

Bought 18 bottles - made to feel like a low quality customer. Promised a discount over the phone, the next day I was told that that wasn't the case. Megan the manager made us feel like we were scumbags and reluctantly gave us a short tasting before leaving us in the hands of someone equally uninterested. We bought 3 cases of $35 fizz!! So pretentious and smarmy with a terrible customer experience, regardless of the quality of the product. There are so many better wineries in NOTL where they make you feel welcome - avoid this one!!!

Carlie Williams

This was the first of three wineries my bridesmaids and I visited on my Bachelorette Trip this summer. Of the three, this was definitely the most beautiful location! It was a gorgeous summer day, so that definitely helped, but the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Lots of photo opportunities on the property as well. We did the wine tasting and there was a great selection to choose from. The ice wines were DELICIOUS! The wait staff was very friendly all throughout our time here. The restaurant where we ate at afterwards had a limited menu and the wait was longer than expected with a reservation, however they were severely understaffed at the time, so we understood. The food was delicious though! The lobster poutine was awesome!

andrew alonzi

This was not the experience I was expecting .. Terrible service from the start, we booked back to back and they cancelled our second booking but no refund. We got upstairs at 2:20 pm and our booking was for 2:30 pm .. we walked out of there and finished by 2:28 pm! They did not explain any of the wines, just asked you for your 3 and brought them all at once.. The lack of professionalism was shocking. All and all each worker was useless, we asked “how many years has this building been here” Worker goes, “oh a really really long time..” Wow thanks

Allysa Ramkishun

Breath Taking Views... my boyfriend and I are wine club members because of the very first experience we had here. Memorable staff and amazing quality in wines. Very educating as well... we drive 2 hours multiple times during the summer just to come here

Angela Leung

Worst winery restaurant for customer care experience in the region, and I come to Niagara on the lake 4 times a year. If you want to be treated like a nuisance then come here. But only come here if you look like money. The hostess and Maitre'd here just lost a paying customer. If you care about being treated respectfully, go to Two Sisters.

Bobby Chook

Great food and ambiance. Very knowledgeable staff and they walk you through your wine pairing with patience

Jenn S

Their wine tasting was good however, didn't like their chaotic set up to get in to try their wines. Reminded me of being 19 trying to get a drink in a bar

Bosco Chan

We had an early dinner here. The best dish was the mushroom soup, concentrated and delicious. The rest was just average. Ribeye was lean and lack of flavour.

Shriti Gandhi

Unfortunately we had planned a day of touring NOTL wineries and Peller was supposed to be the highlight but it was a disappointment. Firstly we had booked a 1230 tasting but the confirmation said 12 so we rushed to get there only to find out that they ‘just do that’ (what greeter told us). Fine, we took our time to get our first sparkling taste (the lady at the tasting was fantastic unfortunately I didn’t catch her name). We then showed up a few minutes before 1230 for our actual tasting at the outdoor patio and they could not wait to push us out. The gentlemen doing our tasting walked by our table and said ‘you only have 25 minutes’ to which we responded ‘no one has even served us yet’. We received our wines with almost no explanation as is the norm when doing a tasting. At 1255 a lady came by and basically said we have 5 minutes’. No one else was getting pushed out or spoken to that way so we couldn’t help but feel there may have been some unconscious bias at play. Moving on...our pass also included a lunch item and drink. They would not allow us to put our name down when we arrived so by the time we finished our tasting there was a huge (30 minute) line up. When we got to the front we were advised that many of the items were not included in our pass (the most expensive food & beverage items go figure). We then had to wait in another line to order our food (basically burgers and fries as the menu is very limited) like a fast food restaurant. All in all Peller is supposed to be one the best wineries in the region but much was left to be desired. I recommend sensitivity & diversity training, as well as additional hospitality training. Perhaps a visit to some of the neighbouring/smaller wineries to see how to treat guests.

Taylor McIntyre

Love the wine here and the people are fantastic! The scenery is also stunning

virginia swan

stopped in for lunch on Saturday May 10, went out to the "pop up bbq" burger was ok. sadly we could not buy a glass of wine to have with lunch even after asking several times. We ended up leaving and going to Creekside for our wine. Much better service.

J Lite

Jessica gave us great service. I like a server with personality. Could not have been any better. The food was outstanding. Presentation and taste. This place just checks all the boxes. Even the support staff are really trained well and gave great service. I highly recommend this place!

Max Corleone

My girlfriend and I came here specifically to see the Ice Wine room at the vineyard. In order to see this room you need to participate in the wine tour, which accompanies a $39 entrance fee per person. Lucky for us we had a buy one get one free coupon from our Niagara hotel. The tour starts with (1 ounce sample of each) champagne, followed by a chardonay, merlot, and then the beloved Ice Wine which is cultivated at minus 10 degrees, giving reason to why the ice wine room is set to a crisp minus 10 degrees. It was so nice to be given comfy and warm parkas to wear before entering the room made of ice. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in taking in scenic views, tasting delicious wines (that you can't get in the LCBO), and learning about the wine making process. 45 minutes well spent!

Emily Bodrug

Had the best girls weekend ever thanks to Ling who helped us girls wine taste. She greeted us right from the beginning with a big warm smile and asked us what we were celebrating! Due to having two engagements in our group, she took us up to the estate room for VIP wine tasting. She was beyond knowledgeable about every single wine... I couldn't believe how much Ling knew. She catered to each persons unique taste and found us each wine that we LOVED!!! She was so friendly and welcoming. Made our entire trip to niagra on the lake. We are so thankful!! We LOVE you Ling!!!!

Humberto Y. Salazar Lopez

Nice patio with a very nice view of the vineyard, friendly service and good food. Recommended!

Hugh Windline

We had a fantastic tour with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide in beautiful surroundings. We'd advise the Estates team to clean the ice room thoroughly and replace/dry-clean the coats as they are filthy and do not feel particularly hygienic.

Y.K

Omg, the food was amazing, having been there for long time, still my fave winery

None OfyourBusiness

The grounds are well kept and picturesque, the buildings are clean and well kept. The reason for 2 stars is because when we went for our tasting we had one gentleman who was serving us and you can tell he was in a rush. Didn't take time to explain our choices or what our tastes were, which at other wineries they do. He was just like what do you wanna start with. I could feel he didn't wanna be there. Shortly after we had a lady take over which was more friendlier but honestly Peller is all Bark and no bite. In the words of Public Enemy "Don't Believe the Hype!" We later had a tasting and tour at Pilliteri Winery and man what a difference. I'll definitely be back there and recommend it to anyone. The grounds are clean, they're nothing elaborate but their tour/taste guides are amazing. Our tasting experience at Pilliteri was the best so far that we ended up spending our hard earned cash there buying their wines. That's my honest review. Hopefully if you visit Peller you get someone that actually feels like working there and not being inconvenienced by your presence.

Had a blast there today. Catie was our tour guide and she was so smart! I recommend her! I learned really cool things about making wine. The 10 below icewine Peller lounge was a great experience!

Archvile77

Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area! The ice wine tour is a must! The property is fantastic and the tour was great - our tour guide was very helpful, energetic and talkative which all contributed to a great experience. The wines we sampled were also great. Have yet to try their restaurant/dining options, but will likely return in the future for this.

On a cool Monday afternoon we were treated to a wine tour at this great venue. Our guide was Cory who provided a detailed background of this family run winery. I have been on wine tours in Italy, Napa Valley and here locally in Niagara but this has been my best so far. Cory was an excellent host which I found most informative from the vineyard to the making of the wine. Samples of wine were readily available throughout the tour with cheese to challenge our taste buds at one point. The ice wine room -10 degrees was an amazing feature and coats were supplied for this part of the tour. Thanks Cory we had a great time.

Julie Fila

I was there today with my family for lunch. I was so looking forward to it as it was my first time out since having a baby. We went to the grill outside. The staff were very nice. But the food was disgusting! I couldn’t believe it! We had burgers and fries. The burgers were cold, cheese wasn’t melted. The fries were cold and not cooked. We had lobster poutine and the cheese wasn’t melted because the fries werent cooked or hot. For 2 burgers, fries, 1 poutine and 2 drinks we paid $100! I couldn’t believe it! So disappointed! Really sad!

Bluedaisyy

I went to Peller Estates for the first time this past weekend and would highly recommend the tour if you have time! Our tour guide, Cory, was extremely friendly, accommodating and informative. He provided interesting information and kept the tour exciting! We explored the vineyards, the wine cellar and the 10 below room - all of which were beautiful spaces. The wine itself is amazing and locally sourced and grown. Definitely recommend this winery if you are in the Niagara-on-the-lake area!

Catherine Robinson

Had a wonderful time here a couple of weeks ago. I would like to visit in warmer weather. I learned a lot during the wine tour. I really enjoyed myself. Sal was a great tour guide.

Jho Lee

Nice scenery and very knowledgable staff.

Diana Baker

I love your wine. Please let your employee know that I was the one that got the mustard lol. I have pictures of my opening. It's kind of funny. Hope they enjoyed the hot or ham

Christine Dyson

Wonderful experience at the tasting as Candace was quite knowledgeable and very helpful with our choices. She, Christian and Faith, in the store, showed great customer service. We will definitely return, but would request Peller look at their online scheduling system. I booked the tasting on my mobile, but it never registered for the date chosen (Oct. 12), just the date I booked it on (Oct. 9). The 2 ladies at the front have to be commended for their patience and problem solving skills. Luckily, the tasting was not full at that time and they honoured our booking. Great Covid measures in place.

Gordon Kay

We have dined at Peller a number of times and have enjoyed the upscale food and overall experience. Today I will go off topic, to a retirement party our group had last night at Peller in the Barrel room. As we entered the room we were served a very nice sparkling wine and finger foods of good quality. There was also a table that included fresh oysters, a variety of very nice cheeses, cold meats and a few different amuse bouche. Outside they had a fire for roasting the biggest marshmallows ever. Overall a great way for a group to spend a couple of hours.

Charles Hu

Delicious food, wonderful service and perfect ambience!

Gabrielle Jarry

Beautiful place, a lot of choices ! Book in advance because we couldn't do the tour we wanted, but still enjoyed it. The staff is very nice

Stephanie Robertson

Kevin went beyond and above. He was more then accommodating...he was courteous, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he was patient and understanding of our requests. He is more then deserving of these five stars. :)

PJL

Worst costumer service experience. Staffs unwelcoming and cold. They are too popular and don't care about their costumers.

Warren Bushart

Had an outstanding tour led by Cory. When we travel we often take private or small group tours. All four of us agreed that Cory was the best, most engaging guide we have ever had. Great job and great tour of the winery.

Nicole G

For an outdoor wine tasting at this respectable and profitable winery ($20 for 3 choices), the lack of patio umbrellas for all outdoor seating is simply unacceptable. Guests should not have to choose between an unshaded table or waiting for another one to open up. It was very unpleasant having the icewine warm up on the table. Would recommend this winery ONLY for photo opportunities. Customer service at this establishment also needs to be re-evaluated by higher management as our seated party of 4 guests was denied a more shaded, comfortable table, while tables were visibly empty and another group of 4 guests were allowed to move. It was disrespectful that the manager was loudly adamant to insist that there were no tables available while ur group was within earshot of this outburst. Very underwhelming experience and inattentive service - be highly wary if you are a visible minority, as the manager was overtly catering to specific groups of guests. If you are looking for more rounded experiences, do consider Two Sisters for the ambience and restaurant, and Reif Winery for the expertise and welcoming atmosphere.

Neil Zeidenberg

Fantastic tour of Peller Estates Winery. We tasted four wines, got up close to the vineyard, saw where they keep the barrels down below and even stepped into a ice wine freezer with walls made of blocks of ice. Very cool place!

Dawn Williams

The tastings were fabulous along with the food at the grill. All the staff and servers were wonderful. Wines we tried were excellent

Richard Radwinski

Worst customer service at this winery. We wanted to do tasting flights and were ignored by many employees walking by us at the counter and further ignored when we asked for assistance. I would recommend you don’t waste your time driving here. Better to spend your money somewhere else.

Honest Reviews

Real fancy place for special occasions. Went here for lunch. It was pricey but worth checking out once. Food was awesome. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Niagara area.

Thais Santos

Second time here. It was very busy and we just wanted a quick tasting at their bar. Because they were full we didn't get so much attention, but it was enough to help us choose what wine to buy. We bought the sparkling white and rose, and the special bag with 3 for 40! Very pleased with the visit.

Josef Barnes

We recently had the opportunity to have brunch at Peller Estates Winery. It was our third time and we sat outside for the second time. Beautiful surroundings, service was great. Two from our party chose to let the chef decide our menu for the brunch - and while nothing was a disappointment, including great wine pairings, compared to our previous times which were impeccable, this one left me less enthusiastically impressed. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Peller for the experience itself.

Chad Wismer

The food is very delicious although very small portions, I had the rack of lamb. The wine is actually excellent. I would love to give a higher rating but my waiter Colin lacked personality ,being in such a nice place requires a very specific type of personality and his was unfortunately a downer . Very beautiful atmosphere and nice presentation.

Victoria Frans

Great place! Very beautiful grounds and very knowledgeable staff

Catherine Hartle

Good price quality for the tour. Amazing wines. Large vineyard but welcoming staff. Beautiful scenery. Tour guide was amazing. He really knew the details. Best wine tour ever.

André Chartier

We took the Peller Greatest winery tour with 4 testing. The 10below zero experience is amazing. The guide Cory was very interesting and knowledgeable. Wonderfull visit. AC + CE

Ang Emporio

My partner and I went here for dinner and it was nothing short or amazing! I’ve been may times for dinner and loved it every time. We loved the service in the restaurant itself. The meal was nothing short of spectacular. I’ve read reviews on here of people complaining of poor customer service. And I can assure you that being a business owner myself I can sympathize with the owners of Peller Estates. It’s certianly not easy running a business now a days with millennials “working” there and they’re lack of enthusiasm. But, we’ve found it was a perfect evening. And, you can be rest assured we’d not only highly recommend it but we’ll be back time and time again. Thanks again for memorable evening!

podilcek

The food is fantastic but the service is outstanding! I will definitely be returning. Well worth the price for such a wonderful experience

Barry Telesnick

Had a great time tasting and touring with my wife. Jill the tour guide was very knowledgeable about wine, and related issues. She seemed very happy about her job and being there. We were greeted at the door by Joan, who was also very nice. We met John on the way out who was also pleasant. The wine was very good. Tour was worth the money spent, and we were happy to purchase four bottles. Highly recommend!!!

CA James

A great overall experience. Beautiful grounds. Our server was very engaging and was always there when we had questions.

Michelle Greene

Largest winery we visited while in the area. Lots of parking available. It was very busy when we arrived. We walked around first before getting a spot at the tasting bar. Lots of great options besides wine to purchase. The sweet wines and ice wines we tasted were delicious. We purchased a bottle of their late harvest sweet wine. The restaurant has a fantastic menu and they have a reasonably priced 3 course menu as well. Would love to come back and eat at the restaurant.

Vladimir Yotaphone

We were celebrating my wife's birthday - two of us. Everything was perfect, the service, the food, the timing with the dishes was perfect - absolutely no rush. I wish Canada had more restaurants like this.

Chris Hristow

Celebrated our anniversary by having dinner at Peller Estates. We had the 5 course meal with wine pairings. From start to finish everything was top notch. Our server, Colin was amazing, knowledgeable and so accommodating. Thank you for a great evening.

Jeff

Just finished the estate wine tour with our guide Jeff. Being that it is early December it was not very busy and we were able to have a private tour. This allowed us to really engage with Jeff and he was more than helpful in answering our questions. Was an excellent and informative experience even in the cold! Would recommend this time of year if you have questions for a more personal experience.

Andrea Fernandes

We did the Sunset Tour. We had lots of fun but it was so short and the majority of it was spent inside. We were given lanterns and then told to head inside to the cold room. It just felt really short and like a winter tour. It was too expensive for the quick experience. Granted, the service was lovely and we still had a great time!

Carlo Thirtytwo

Peller Estates was made out to be a premier winery experience in Ontario's Niagara Region, and while the property itself is gorgeous, the food needs to be much more elevated. We didn't get an inviting feeling from the women at the door, which is understandable considering the influx of people interested in visiting given it's so proximity to the border. Even still, those first impressions are key. Value didn't seem proportional to menu offerings either (For example, I was surprised to see wine being sold at markup in the restaurant, but essentially half that price in the store). Ultimately, food wasn't as sophisticated as usual. Lobster poutine sounds like a win, but it just didn't deliver. Workers in the store were very aggressive about selling wine memberships. I'd consider going back to Peller, but there are a number of fantastic wineries in the area that offered greater value and experience.

Jess

Wonderful! Helen was excellent and treated us so well - I find that staff sometimes don’t treat you as well when you come with a voucher! Learned cool facts from her :) she gave us so much attention - recommend for sure!

Selina Liu

Arrived for the greatest winery tour. Overall wines that we tried were great and the estate is beautiful. The ice room is amazingly done! I took away one star since we were only allowed to stay inside the ice room for 3 minutes and not enough time to take many photos.

Molly Krywopusk

What a beautiful winery... great selection... knowledgeable staff. Sal was amazing explaining the different techniques. And loved the ice room... this tour is a must for everyone!

Sam Williams

Not busy at all. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Barbara Zemskova

The food and drinks here get 5 stars. We always have had a great meal with a beautiful view. However, the service really needs work. Let me preface that the restaurant was not busy and many tables were empty. It still took about 15 minutes to get seated and 15 minutes to get a waitress to come take our order. I am usually very patient if it takes a while for food to arrive. But that was not the problem. When we asked for our bill, it took over 20 minutes - the waitress went over to several other tables to deliver items and have lengthly small talks instead of actually getting our check. Asking another staff member was not helpful either; he also ended up engaged in small talk at another table. Overall: we were very happy with food, but extremely disappointed with service, especially as we were hoping to leave before it got dark, but got substantially delayed because we couldn’t get our bill.

Kenneth So

Lovely ambience, delicious and creative menu from appetizer to desert; great and friendly service. The only thing is we had to rush finish our lunch because the kitchen is a little behind so they were a bit slow in bringing on the food items, but we only have 1.5 hrs. from the moment we seated. The next group is already at the door. We were given extra 5 minutes to finish the most delicious cheese cake and the Manager was already cleaning my table. It was a great meal and a great time still :)

Paul Webber

Gorgeous property... Great service.. friendly staff I would give a 5 star but the burgers we ordered from the patio restaurant were previously Frozen patties (rubbery) and the bun was stale. For an upscale restaurant (and for the price we paid) these should be fresh home burgers. The fries WERE AMAZING! Tip: Don't order the burgers until they change them!! .... Everything else GREAT!

SJ Lee

The Peller Estate was beautiful in and out, and the tour, which includes four types wines, was very informative. The staff were friendly, though we had to wait for a long time for a cashier at the wine shop at the end of the tour. It seems like the tour and the meal at the restaurant give you some discount at the shop, so I would recommend going there last. The estate itself would get five stars from me, but it’s the restaurant that doesn’t live up to the name. I understand the pricing, but there were just way too many flies, and the food was mediocre at best.

Watch Man

Two-three years ago Peller Estate outside restaurant was one of the favorite place to visit. There were delicious thin crust pizzas (variety of them), salads and so on. Yesterday on that place we found absolutely awful ridiculously overpriced burgers with cheep white bred as the main ingredient. Even Burger King has better taste. Service was extremely disappointed. First of all its almost self-serving. Cashier doesn't give you receipt - only if you ask her, she doesn't ask you if you need it or not (and we all know that many ppl need receipts). If you think you ll get it with your order, like I though, you make mistake. I asked her, and then anemic waitress about that - both promised to do something but no one even got back. That was very unprofessional but quality food was the most and biggest disappointment. Peller should be ashamed to have such disgusting meal on their brand.

Chris Hains

We sat outside with the beautiful view of the vineyard in front of us. The wine and food was fantastic and the service was great. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Niagara on the Lake.

Bill Abbott

Excellent tour...great tour guide! Candace was very knowledgeable and personable. The ice room was a "cool" experience. ????????

The Big Apple N Y

Want to comment on your 4L wine boxes. The cardboard box is now too thick and very stiff and hard to open it. It's hard to bend, take apart for recycling. I want the old box back !!

Hailey O'Connor

Our tour company arranged a tour, tasting and lunch at Peller. The staff were great. The food was unbelievvvvaaaaaaabbblllllleeee. We ended up with a few bottles to take home for family. Love,Love, Loved it! Also want to Thank VIP Tours for highly recommending this property.

Melissa

We went for an ice wine tour and loved every minute of it. It started off as tasting some ice wine, a tour of the of the winery and the underground cave. Very informative!

Steve V

We went here tonight for our anniversary. We had a server in training who was fantastic and kind. Our experience was made memorable. My wife and I chose to do the food and wine pairing dinner. I chose the Rabbit as the appetizer and the beef main course. My wife chose the pork belly and Squab. There was so much food I can’t remember it all but everything was new for me and such an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Dominic Du Bois

Went here at 5pm to have a little wine and cheese and was told they only serve wine and cheese at lunch... whaaaaaat???. So we went to a place next door called Strewn and had a great wine and cheese :D

A Hucal

My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday and the service was top notch. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champane and sat at the best seat of the house by the water fountain overlooking the vineyard. The meal was delicious. My boyfriend was very impressed with the lobster linguini. I will not that the vegatable pot au feu did fall short however. For vegetarians or vegans this meal lacked seasoning and flavor. We would go back but hope the vegetarian entree steps up its game to make the rest of a spectacular service.

Vitalie

Amazing experience and entourage. Pete the restaurant manager is very dedicated and focused on details, nice interaction with customers. Tasting menu with wine pairing is great, priced well also. My favorites are the duck and the fennel pure.

Winsome Brown

Beautiful place service is fantastic

James R

First we had a great tour of the winery with our tour guide Noah, who showed us all the types of grapes and gave us hilarious tidbits of information about winemaking. He also taught us how to slice a wine bottle to open it!! We also had the five course meal later. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious!!

Melanie Devlin

I visited here last year and my husband and I LOVED it. I was going to Trius, the sister company but was recommended Peller. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I love ice wine and yet my husband was fascinated with their -10 room. I thought that their souvenirs were one of a kind

Mike Van Der Spek

We give Alyssa 5 stars as she was a great tour guide, friendly, and very knowledgeable. But I give Peller Estate Winery 1 star for charging our 11 year old daughter adult pricing for their 45 minute tour. In addition the front desk employee made a rude comment towards us. Would not recommend visiting this winery, but suggest people visit Konzelmans Winery or another winery.

frances fu

My favorite restaurant in Canada. The tasting menu is amazing and never disappoints.

Mike Risavy

Very large winery, seemed to be more into the experience than the wine. The wine itself is alright, the sparkling is quite nice. The servers at the tasting were not very knowledgeable. The store seems to suffer from chronic issues that require them to write down your credit card info, which is both a security concern and creates long lines. One would think a business this side could figure it out. Staff were friendly. I recommend booking in advance.

Katrina Francisco

Been here many times. I come here whenever I take my girlfriends to NOTL to do wine tastings. Big estate with nice grounds. Nice to sit on the patio during the summer.

Marni Parker

Great wine fantastic help choosing what we wanted by an employee named Faith, who was extremely knowledgeable.

David Nording

Nice environment for tasting with knowledgeable but unfriendly staff. The wines are nothing special. Too popular for its own good but as good as Canadian wines get.

Irving Cho

I paid $25 for juice. Nice experience 10/10. Would not do again.

Ted Liu

The tasting menu of wine is perfect. Staffs are very nice. But the restaurant here is really terrible. Every dishes were bland and long waiting time

Justin Boyce

All good to me yo. Cool beans

Sarah Richardson

Awesome wine tour! Sal was a great tour guide, super knowledgeable and friendly. Had detailed answers to all of our questions! Loved the Vidal ice wine and Reisling.

Tyler Vrckovnik

We were at the casual side of the restaurant tonight. It is so busy we were treated like a number, very little customer focus. Hosts were simply lazy and do not care if you request another table, they will make every excuse why it can't be done, despite these tables remaining open for hours. They just want your money.

Michael Powers

Flies on food! The restaurant has a huge fly problem. Flies kept on landing on our food while we were eating. And not just a few flies, we essentially ended up eating with one hand and swapping flies with the other during the entire meal. Great place but, absolutely disgusting to have such a big fly problem which seems it could be solved by doing some double doors to the outside.

Mike Cotton

The meal was excellent. The food was amazing and well worth the money spent. When we go to a restaurant I always ask myself, “could I do as well at home?” Often the answer is yes, but not this time. Excellent food, amazing staff..what an enjoyable evening for my wife and myself!! I can’t say enough good things about the service and the food!!

Jim Wilson

We dropped by for a wine tasting yesterday. Very busy. Bob was having a bad day or is not enjoying his job. Learned some new stuff about varieties of grapes. Would have been a 5 star rating if it weren't for Bob.

Per Knudsen

Beautiful place. Amazing patio with well kept garden and view of the wine plantation. We had the 4/5 course surprise lunch, chefs choice. The arrangement was very nice however the food itself did not live up to the surroundings. The soup lacked falvor, the Duck was to salty and the cake was a little dry. For the price it did not live up to expectations.

Angie Medina

Spent Saturday in Niagara on the Lake and checking out several Niagara wineries/vineyards. Took the ice wine tour with Arienne as our guide. She gave us a fun and informative tour explaining about the Peller family, their vineyards, wines, and specifically the "ice wine" process to include a sub-zero (parka provided, haha) cooler visit to help understand how ice wine grapes are harvested. Highly recommend this fun tour!!

Gucci Pucci Yorkie

First visit, the estate and winery is beautifully laid out. The Peller restaurant however, was disappointing. The duck prosciutto still had the plastic on it. The lamb shank and duck sausage had a funny taste to it thats still lingering in my mouth. The plates were bland and basic, nothing special. The only good thing about the meal was the palate cleanser. ( which I wish I saved for after the main) Service was good just the food was a disappointment. Might return for a wine tasting and tour but definitely not for the restaurant.

David Allen

I did a tour of this beautiful winery/vineyard. This place is huge and the property is well maintained and quite an awesome sight to see. My wine tour guide was Kari. She did a great job on the tour. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the property, the wine, and the wine making process. The tour gave samples of four different wines, including an ice wine, at various times and locations throughout the tour. The locations included their patio, the vineyard, the cellar and the 10 below lounge. All the locations were nice but the best were the cellar and the 10 below lounge. If you're ever in the area do yourself a huge favor and tour this amazing place. You won't be disappointed. Overall an outstanding experience. I high recommend this place.

Richard Turpin

Outstanding food in a wonderful atmosphere. All of the staff, especially our waitress Lisa, were exceptionally polite and efficient with great detail!

Heidi Goodine

Alex gave a great tour! Very Covid aware, felt safe and he was so knowledgeable. Delicious wine and beautiful scenery. Little out of the way but well worth the trip.

Samuel Edmondson

I went on the tour here and tried a flight as well. The tour guide was really knowledgeable about the process and answered the questions we had. The 10below lounge was really fun and was much needed after being in the summer heat in the vineyard. Their version of champagne was good and so was the ice wine.

Mike C

Beautiful scenery and a beautiful estate building. The wine tour was full of interesting information and had a nice flight of different wines. If you have a chance, check out the 10 below room while it is there. I feel like dinner should have its own review because that chef is magic. The food was incredible, I will be returning again and again!

Will Lane

Peller Estates is what is it is. You don't go there for the wine really. And there's nothing wrong with that. As far as I'm concerned it is probably the loveliest property within half-wasted rent-a-cycle distance of Niagara-on-the-Lake village. The food is also very respectable, especially at the new outdoor lunch/bbq/chill/less pretentious area where the fried chicken sandwiches and charcuterie boards are noteworthy standouts. The lobster pizza seems to be popular but I have yet to indulge. Prices are reasonable. It's not quaint. It's not boutique. But you know what? It still cares. And for this style of vineyard, the grandiose, palatial, you know what I mean...it is arguably my favourite. Go for the vintage wines though - rieslings in particular. Otherwise the wine is not worth your time.

Rita Cocetta

Another amazing winery experience at Peller. The fire pit experience along with the hot chocolate and the icewine marshmallow was excellent! Service was exceptional.

PRITPAL SADIAURA

Great variety of Vines. Great customer Service.. Beautiful place for photo shoot

Cam Allen

Paul was our wine tour guide, and he was phenomenal.

TERESA GIESBRECHT

Four of us dined on the patio several weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. The weather was perfect, we had a view of the vineyard and lights were hung in the trees. We splurged on the seven course chef's surprise complete with wine pairings and were not disappointed. Every course was delicious and generous as were the wine selections. Service was attentive and helpful and we definitely did not leave hungry! We took our time and were the last customers to leave but the servers never rushed us. We had a great evening and would not hesitate to do this again.

Andrew Weir

We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Delicious and z very fun experience in a beautiful setting with great service.

Catherine Dirks

Nancy was a great server and sommelier and made the meal extra special. Not sure abot the crabcakes but everything else was awesome. Recommend wine tasting menu

Natasha D

My husband and I visited Peller Estates winery today for lunch. We ordered a Chicken Burger and Lobster Poutine. The lobster poutine didn’t even have melted cheese but that was the least of my concern. We asked for ketchup and it arrived when we were done eating the fries. It’s over 30 degree weather they did not serve us any table water. Our chicken burger was totally raw in the center (see photo). I’m not a complainer - I’m pregnant if I ate that I surely would have been sick. I can’t understand how hard is it to grill a burger? We brought this up to the server, they compensated us for the burger and remade the burger - I felt that they could have done better than compensating just the burger. It’s about overall customer experience, and this was not a good one. This all speaks true to Peller Estates motto ' farm-to-table cooking'..literally.

Christian “Big Daddy” P

Took a while to be served at my tasting. Waiters were not very professional. Kind of seemed like staff at a cheap banquet hall. The funniest part was the waiter dropping off our flight and not telling us which wine was which then said “cool” & left lol. Gorgeous venue but would not recommend

Coco Lam

Went there on July 26th for a post wedding wine tasting. It was hella hot and they wouldn't move us to a table with umbrella even though they were MANY EMPTY TABLES WITH UMBRELLA. Oh, they allowed 2 WHITE couples to move table while we died under the sun. My wine were hot, disgusting. They told us they couldn't move us due to COVID but we witnessed a couple allowed to move for a "better scenery". It was all a lie and lazy customer service because they don't want to wipe down the table. Waste of time experience. Rather go to Stratus or some other cute ones nearby. Tourist trap, don't go here. 100% Honest opinion, just look at the exterior of the winery. It's old but not charming, BORINGGGGGG.

E Me

Went there during Fabuliscous week and it was one of the best meals we have had in Niagara On the Lake and we have tried many as we live in the area. Service was excellent too. Ambiance is very nice.

Lovy Khanna

We visited the Vineyard over the weekend and signed up for a 10 below Wine Tour with Lauren. The vineyard hands down is the best kept vineyard in Niagara, patio offers a great setting for a meal and wines are impeccable. The 10-below Wine Tour was informative, engaging and memorable - Thanks to Lauren, she definitely deserves recognition.

Michael Chan

The lobster linguini is a must try!

Mackenzie Kretz

Paul is the best tour guide! Make sure to get Paul, good guide. This tour was one of my favourites as they really give you some interesting information and go through many sceneries. Will is also a really great bar tend.

Mr

Peller Estates is hands down the best winery in the Ontario Niagara region. The wine club is amazing. The food is tasty and the wine is perfect. Did the wine tour which led me to sign up for the wine club witch then led me to drinking a lot of wine one fine Sunday afternoon for free. Then with my membership went and visited another for more free wine and whiskey. The staff was great the knowledge of the history and the knowledge of there products. Great work guys

Stephen Cox

Went in to buy a bottle of wine, and the older gentlemen behind the bar was cold and unreceptive. We asked to taste the wine before buying a bottle, and he looked we had offended his honor! We tasted two wines, and then promptly bought a bottle and left. He was happily speaking to other guests and completely blank with us. When we went to pay, he went up to the cashier and made some kind of remark. We felt so unwelcomed. This man should not be in the hospitality industry.

Jeff Kurys

Very nice spot. Great drinks and board. All thumbs up. Service was sparse, but who needs it with that view!!

Amanda Mason

What a beautiful place!! Amazing service, so detailed and attentive. The wine was great, of course. I had both their sauv blanc and pinot noir. Delicious food, cooked perfectly and the presentation is magnificent. The place has amazing decor as well. All around great experience, I will definitely be returning.

Victoria Braunn

Went for a wine tasting and was ignored for 20 minutes. So we left, didn’t even have a chance to try this almost 5 star winery. What a shame.

Tim Rayner

We had a wonderful dining experience at Peller Estates "The Winery Restaurant" The service and food were excellent.

Lynn Clark

Yesterday I ate lunch at Peller Estate Winery. The décor was lovely and the staff and our server were excellent. It was a special birthday celebration so we decided to splurge and order, "let the chef surprise you" for $106 each. The first offering was a breaded cheese ball which was served hot, but it was still frozen in the center. The tiny piece of trout that was one of the courses was very nicely cooked and artistically presented on the plate. The main entre was chicken which was very salty and disappointing. We had expected the chef to surprise us with something exotic, something we didn't cook in our own kitchen every week. My companion had a glass of wine and this plus the tip and tax brought our bill to close to $300. For that kind of money the meal should have been outstanding and it was not.

Charlie Heather

Always a great experience! Terrific food, service and wine! They host great outdoor events and my personal favourite the Ice Wine cellar Fun fact - John Tavares got married here. Good enough for him, good enough for me :)

Very nice visit at Peller Estates. We arrived for a wine tasting and stayed for a light dinner and live music while sipping on a lovely glass of wine. Nice facility and staff. Great setting for relaxing while enjoying the wine and music.

Amanda S

We enjoyed Peller's newest wine experience: casino. It was a great Time, highly recommend it. Mike did a great job hosting us for our poker game, and was very helpful in the Estate room. John at the front desk was very friendly and made you feel welcome. The wines were fantastic, particularly the Muscat :) Highly recommend this winery!

Peller estates winery is definitely one of the more high end and more massive wineries in the Niagara region; it's got a variety of tasting and tour options and unique experiences offered. I came here recently with a group of 12 family members for a tasting recently and everyone had a great time! I had a $100 gift card which the staff kindly allowed me to use to help pay towards the cost of our group tastings instead of just to purchase wines or something from the gift shop which I really appreciated as well. Pros - Large selection of wines with a variety of flavor profiles, a neat quiz you can take for recommendations of what wines to sample, and absolutely gorgeous views, both inside and out! We particularly loved that we were offered a menu of wines with descriptions, and we were able to select several to taste based on our personal preferences - unlike other wineries where it's more structured with specific wines being served to you. Additionally, the gift shop itself was massive and full of great options and things to purchase other than just wine. Bonus - They had a non-alcoholic tasting menu for DD's, underage individuals or guests who don't drink to be able to enjoy and participate as well. Other wineries we had been too previously usually only offered grape juice or water to such guests, so it was nice that they got to actually select their own fun flavored beverages to try and be amused by! Cons - I'm not sure if it was because of the particular tasting style we booked, but the experience was a little less intimate as we had been hoping. We were placed in a large room (and split up into 2 tables), where there were a bunch of other groups doing tastings as well. While we did have multiple servers around to answer questions and whatnot, it still felt a bit more like a regular "restaurant" experience rather than a private group tasting which was not what we had been expecting.

Had our Christmas party here tonight. Food was terrific. Staff was extremely helpful with choosing the various wines we had. There was no pressure to leave early. All 12 of us were thrilled with the venue. Thank you to your staff. Wonderful evening at the estate. Cheers ????

Kathee O'Neill Cole

A wonderful dinner! Service was extremely attentive, and the food and view were terrific! We especially enjoyed the signature lobster pasta dish and recommended wine pairings.

Hilda Pergota

Ryan is an excellent server and made our dining experience more enjoyable. Not to be confused, the food was absolutely delicious. We like to order wine and cocktails and enjoy our evenings out and Ryan really recommended some great choices. Great dinner. Stunning dining room with the most comfortable dining chairs and elegant service. Love love love

Have called 3 times and emailed once to check on distribution in Colorado. As a wine byer of 20 years in one of the premier wine accounts in the state, I have seldom been ignored to this extent by a winery. Guess they don't like money.

Deep Dhanak

The visit is simply not worth it ($30 to drink ice wine in a freezer? - real joke). This is one of the most commercial wineries of the Niagara-on-the-Lake region. This vineyard lacks in originality - feels like the only thing they talk about is their history! So many other wineries in the region worth the detour but not this one!

Hannah Glauber

We did the "Hike through the Vineyard" tour. It was amazing! You learn so much about the process of growing and harvesting the grapes and how they make the wine. Throughout the tour they give you snacks and you get to try the different types of wines. The restaurants have great, fresh food. Would highly recommend the "Hike through the Vineyard" tour!

Ben Frazier

Tasty wine, nice grounds. Alyssa was awesome!

Salmaan Moledina

Great wine and one of the best tour experiences. Our tour guide, Ling, was very well studied in wines and extremely knowledgeable. Her pace was relaxed and left plenty of room to savour the wines, ask questions and look around. A must visit, and definitely look out for Ling!

The estate is such a delight to experience whether you are there for an hour or a whole day. The wine tours are fun and enlightening. They begin sharp on thr dot so be on time. Their ice wines are some of the best. They are the only ones that have an ice lounge which is quite a interesting experience.

This place has gone way down hill. I'm a wine club member and so is the other couple we went with this past weekend. We were situated in a conference room with many people inside, and the room was fairly small. I feel like they just wanted to cram as many people in as possible so they can herd us like sheep. Not only do regular customers deserve a good wine tasting experience, but don't promote wine tasting experience when you're stuffing a large number of people in a room and then having dirty table cloths with wine stains from the previous customer. Like come on! I hate that I'm a member here and am now seriously rethinking this membership. Peller needs to do better, and stop catering to just volume of people and stuffing them in any room possible. This is not an experience, especially if you're trying to upsell current members to premium membership or to potentially new customers. Do WAY better. Period.

I've been to the place for quite a few years. The food has been consistently good. But lately, the price seem to have gone up a bit while, the ambience and the service which used to be great has definitely gone down. It is noisier, busier, and although the servers are nice and polite, they seem to forget things, and so on. It used to be my favourite place in Niagara on the lake, but not anymore. A bit too touristy.

Étienne Sonea

We visited different wineries in the area and this was the only one where we were treated with indifference. Great wines though and a beautiful location.

David kevlex

This place is amazing, food, service, view, everything, such a good atmosphere and experience, totally recommend it.

Lourdes D.

My husband and I did the $10 wine tasting. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful to help us choose the 3 wines we wanted to taste. They are following safety precautions with limited amount of people in the room so we were taken 10 minutes later than our reserved time, but they didn't rush us once we got inside. It was a great experience and we ended up buying the wines we tasted! We then ate at the restaurant. I ordered the steak and my husband the lobster linguine. He said the lobster was slightly overcooked since it was a bit chewy, but the steak was great! Our server was someone named Ducan and he was very helpful. He came to check on us once, but we could see he was busy with other customers. The decor was very nice and the restaurant was clean and classy. Will definitely come back to visit!

What an amazing place. Great staff. Very Friendly. Amazing food. And of course best in class wine. Our tour guide Paul was friendly and knowledgeable. The Ice Lounge in the basement is such a 'cool' experience.

Emilio J

We opted for the more expensive upstairs wine tasting and it was definitely worth it. The winery and the surroundings are beautiful, the wines delicious, and Tibor and Lina, who conducted our tasting, were both extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and well-informed. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Ron Giblin

Excellent evening with special friends and an outstanding location/ meal. Thank you

Kasra Azizbeigi

This place is amazing! Beautiful view, great atmosphere, and the food was also great!

Nicole Lee

I really enjoyed Peller Estates. My best friend and I did the tour. We had Claire as our tour guide. She was amazing! Friendly, informative, and funny! I really loved the Sauvignon Blanc! It was so good, fresh, and smooth. The -10 below was also super fun. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the price. We visited a few other wineries and the price was so much less. I would understand a little more than competitors because the winery is beautiful and special. I stlll recommend doing at least once!

DJ Farnworth

We visited Peller last weekend and had an amazing time. We enjoyed the outdoor fires and hot chocolate before getting their amazing tour. It was incredibly informative, interesting and entertaining. And finished off in the very cool Ice Room. Couldn’t recommend this experience more for anyone visiting the region.

For such a big famous winery - lacks the most important element of all - customer service. We booked a wine tour here last Oct 16th 2020 and we arrived at 6:30pm. My group were placed in a dark corner outside with no lighting at all. The guy didn't even introduce himself. He didn't even give us the opportunity to chose our own wine - instead he rushed us and chose for us. During a pandemic, he was touching the rims of the wineglasses - such a no no! This is why our friend didn't even bother drinking her wine. He never came back and checked on us. We also booked a dinner at 7:30pm for my husband's birthday. The service is ok but they didn't let us bring the cake we picked up along the way. No biggie here - we just left it back in the car as they want the list of all the ingredients - I guess for allergy reasons, which is totally understandable. We kindly asked if we can just keep it on our table to take photos with it without consuming it - still no! Anyway, the food is just ok - nothing special about it. We had steak and salmon and cheeseboard. We will not come back here anymore.

Durugshan W

Went for a wine tour and then enjoyed some time at the estate. The tour was great and had some great options that I've never had but found it short. The overall estate is nice for everyone and would recommend to anyone that hasn't been.

Annie Segat

Disappointed with the service at the bar grill today we were the first ones at the table seated and the last ones to be served our meal unbelievable a long wait for the meal and then there was one meal short and a waitress did apologize for the error and taking the order and a new order was placed and just a short wait this time as the third hamburger arrived just a few minutes later however the bun was fridge cold. Over the past years I have been taken guests from different countries there to enjoy a good meal in the winery however this time I was very disappointed don't know if I'll be back

Lio

Great atmosphere, beautiful scenery, the wine tasting service was great and the waitresses were kind and friendly. I'd definitely go back and visit again.

Kristina Josipovic

Beautiful winery! Wine tastings were good but would have loved to have learned more from our waitress about the wines we chose. In addition, there is a lack of direction in terms of where the restaurant is versus the tasting area. This was our first time to the winery and due to the lack of Dora toon by both signs and the staff, we were late to the tasting by 15 minutes.

Elena Pagonis

I recently dined at Pellar Estates for my best friend's 40th. We had lovely service and the food was fantastic. In addition, I had purchased 2 whisky creams at Gretzky's which I left under the table. The staff not only shipped it free of cost to my home in Vaughan, but they ensured it was packed carefully and said it was the least they could do for having us choose them for our dining experience. Amazing service all around!!!!

Bhanu Prasad

Jeff was knowledgeable gave us a great tour of the estate and ofcourse the history behind the winery and great insight into wines from Niagara region.

N

I have eaten here many times from the year it opened - and it's always solidly good service and food. I have often been blown away by the meals I've had here, but this time I found it was just good - not great. The greeter and waiter blocking the front were less than 'fine dining' in their dress/demeanor. My server was fantastic - rarely get great service anymore. This is continental charm, casual elegance, a fireplace at one end (perfect for the cold months) and a bank of windows looking over lit trees and then the vines beyond. It's a romantic setting! I'd recommend a tour, then tasting at the attached tasting bar, and then a meal.

Allan Chiu

Good selection of wine. Food was ok. Scallop salad was $14 with one scallop. Signature lobster, truffle linguine was good however portion was a tad small for $50 - maybe half a lobster tail. The best combination was probably the cheese and charcuterie board with wine. Come for the atmosphere, and wine. Not for the food.

Jason Simons

Wine tour was awesome, our tour guide, Kelsey was very knowledgable, friendly and funny. Top notch winery with at least 1 top notch tour guide. Oh yeah and the wine is awesome. We will definitely be back

Nav Hundle

They spilled 9 glasses of wine on me and yelled at me and my friends when we went beyond a line with our to go cups that they fully told us we can wander with … do NOT recommend.

Boris Kolev

We had a lovely experience that included visit to the 10 Below bar. Our guide Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend a visit to the estates.

Scoutscpbp 4781BernChar4781

Always a fun time here. Have taken dozens of visitors and friends and we always leave happy. In more ways than one. LOL. Took part in the course the Great Cheese Theory where we learned to infuse, smoke and brûlée the cheeses and taste wines with them. So much fun.

Francisco Rivera

Good food wine tour and 10 below ice wine Brenden great guide very informative

Dylan D'Aguanno

This place was fantastic, and the hostess went out of her way to reach out to my girlfriend and I to recommend interesting restaurants and places in Toronto, where we were traveling to. Atmosphere, wine and food were awesome- recommend the charcuterie board!

T Thiya

Winery is great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. However the dining experience was less than stellar at the Winery Restaurant. I ordered the pan seared sable fish and my husband ordered the herb roasted chicken. Tasted great but way too overpriced for the portion sizes. Ended up going to McDonalds after! Never a good sign.

Frances Browning

I booked the Greatest Winery Tour, and was quite disappointed with my experience. Upon arrival, I checked in and was told to wait outside and was shown the table where we would begin our tour. At the time of my tour, I saw a group walking with the tour guide and proceeded to follow them with my guest. Keep in mind, this was for my birthday celebration. Upon arriving at the table, the group of 6 (all couples) looked over at myself and my guest and then the tour guide made eye contact with me and asked me whether we had checked in. I said yes I did, and was questioned again "are you sure?" A man from the group of 6 asked is it typical that they would group them with a group of 2, the tour guide said yes it happens and asked the gentlemen if he had an issue with that. The man said "I can live with it." This all occurred within the first 60 seconds of the introduction to the tour. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this tour. It seemed overall quite rushed and with the pandemic we had about 60 seconds in the ice lounge, barely enough to even take a photo.

Vs Sm

Good looking place with white tablecloths on tables, well-dressed and very polite staff. It's not like european classy restaurants yet but quite close. We would love to come there on a regular basis, however their obsession to show their disrespect was so funny and obvious that they even forgot it could cost them a bad review and a few new guests. They started with the worst table they've had in the completely empty room despite of our special event we told them about, then wasting our time on asking what kind of veggies we wanted with our orders and finally bringing orders with three micro-sized pieices of vegetables per plate. They were so small that were not even worth of the time spent on discussion. The whole NOTL area feels like you have to be local to be treated with respect which is very unusial for Canada.

John D

Taste is 10/10 Portion size is 3/10. You will leave hungry and broke. Very expensive.

Sarah L

Lovely winery. Wonderful experience.

Laurel Wyllie

Jeff at the wine sampling counter was really kind and knowledgeable! He helped us pick the perfect samples based on what we like. We will definitely be coming back again (especially since you get your sampling bill off a bottle of wine!) Thanks again Jeff :)

Joseph Potts

Beautiful winery! Jewel was very informative at our wine tasting and she taught us a lot we didn’t know about ice wines. We are definitely coming back!!

Dan Juskovic

We are members of winemakers collection - complimentary sparkling is not served on the patio - also , burgers are overpriced - restaurant pricing with self serve concept - too much and nothing special - $17 for a sparkling cuvee rose which we love but served in a plastic glass - perfect for a bus tour - not for discriminating wine lovers

Sylvia Gallo

A must go in the Niagara region. I was so blown away by the beauty of the winery and the fun experience of the ice wine cooler! Such a fun touch. Extensive gift shop and wine selection and very good ice wines!

Kris

Awesome experience....why is anyone not a wine club member....

Eric Chiu

The standard wine tour was informative and fun. The wine and cheese tour was also very fun and delicious. The tasting menu dinner at peller with wine pairing was very good

Chanthavisay Pankham

Sad to say but I really don't understand the hype around here. Of all the wineries we went so far, this one is or least favorite. Wines were so sweet, the restaurant is very expensive and the dishes are on par at best. I think the highlight for me was the burger and the Gretzky beer at the Barrel house grill.

Mirna Zaanoni

I wouldn't recommend the tour during the winter, they cut it short because of the weather. Other than that the wine options we had were yummy, especially the ice wine that we had in the ice room (definitely worth checking out). The tour guide was also friendly and had a good sense of humour.

William Kuhn

Great food. Learned a lot about food. The chef tasting was great. Absolutely would recommend for others to do. Our tour guide Gabrielle was great.

María Alejandra Casanova

Place was packed. We stoped here before going back to our BnB. Just did testing of 3 wines. No one explain or describes wine, just tell me what you want and that’s it. Great landscape and a lot of place to park.

Laura Patten

We were very disappointed in our visit to this winery. We were met with an extremely rude gentleman working at the bar in the outdoor restaurant area. After waiting to be seated for several minutes, we thought we would seek service at the bar, when he shouted from the bar that we needed to be screened (we knew that but nobody helped us). He proceeded to argue that we hadn't waited very long, very rude and aggressive. We then moved our little tour to Reif Estates Winery and Inniskillin Winery where we were met with impeccable and friendly service. Skip this one folks.

Lisa Clarke

Omg our dinner was so delicious and the server was so friendly and took thr time to stop and chat with us.

Michael Sensenstein

Wine tasting like the other wineries except served by under-aged girls. Prefer the wineries where we are served by older more knowledgeable staff.... members with more experience and bottles under their belt ... so to speak.... just our perception...

Cindy Storey

Sal did a fantasic job as our tour guide and was very respectful of everybody's space with all of us wearing masks. We purchased each of the bottles that Sal provided in our tour. I had difficulties standing at our last stop, and Sal went and brought me a chair. Thank you Sal. There was another group, just ahead of us that were not practicing social distancing and when they completed their tour, went directly thru our space to leave. They were very loud, 4 participants were not wearing masks, and the tour guide did not have control of his group.

Katelyn Lococo

The restaurant was absolutely stunning but the portion sizes were pretty disappointing considering the price.

GY H

I went for a wine tour at Peller with my family. The Estate is beautifully landscaped. Much more impressive was our tour guide, Helen, who shared with us not just the history of the estate and the wines grown there, but also her passion for wine. Helen's knowledge of viticulture is definitely above average, she ably fielded questions and gave accurate and insightful answers. Try the rose ice cuvee, and the cab franc icewine.

Emilie Fitzpatrick

I was not impressed, we went up to the tasting bar and no one paid attention to us. Took a long time for service and once we got service they did not talk about the wines at all or about the winery. The glasses were very small and did not showcase the wines very well. We were a group of girls in our twenties but do not deserve to be dismissed and ignored. Everyone should be treated equally because you do not know what knowledge we may have on wine even if we are not older. This was how we finished our wine tour for the day and i was very disappointed and wished we did not go.

Kayla Gonzaga

I went here for lunch and this place is amazing! I ended up not feeling well halfway through my meal and the staff were very friendly and attentive towards me, especially our server Alyssa! She made sure I was okay to stand up and finish my meal, excellent service. Aside from that the food is delicious especially their desserts. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Shivangi Jha

A beautiful place with beautiful infratructure. They have aperfect cozy hall in the basement for wine tasting. The staff is super friendly with adequate knowledge of wines. The cheese served here is also very delicious and paired according to the wine you order. Great experience!

Ryan Mahood

Wonderful winery with delightful staff and delicious wines of all varieties.

Josephine N

I was here for a wine tour and it was amazing. We got to try four different kinds of wine. The details of how the vines are taken care of, to how the wine is made was explained very well. You get to put on a warm jacket before entering the cooler to try some chilled ice wine and take some pictures. At the end of the tour, you have the option to buy some wine and/or souvenirs. We stayed for lunch and the food was amazing! The options available made it hard to choose what you want to try.
