Good staff, nice a efficient. But the layout of the store is very odd. The aisles are poorly marked and you almost have to go down each one to determine what is in it. Fairly large refrigerated section and large vintages area. Convenient and good parking.

Went to buy a bottle of Vodka but it was not in stock. I was told to call the day after and reserve a bottle by 2 staff members. The following day I called to reserve a bottle and the staff member told me they could not hold it because it was selling too fast. Went to the store as soon as I could and another employee told me the order was back ordered and never even arrived that day. Obviously the employees need to get their stories straight, or get off their butts and check. Would have preferred to be told the bottle wasn’t there over the phone instead of rushing into town after work only to be told a completely different story.

I have never had problems or a hassle there, if I can't find what I am looking for with my eyes, I seek service, and they help me. No one has been rude far, even if I passed it a few times. As long as my I.D. is provided I muchly enjoy the sampling and talking about different kinds of drinks and ideas. However; I have forgotten my ID. Before and was neglected nicely.

Good selection, but do not let your teenagers touch the bottles or else they will refuse to sell to you even though they are a monopoly. A month or two ago, my teenage kid was with my and I was carrying a couple of bottle of wine and some cans of Smirnoff ice and a bottle of wine was slipping out of my hands and my teenage kid caught it as it was falling as I was putting stuff on the cashier's counter and the cashier told me, "I cannot sell you this bottle"... what a moronic policy! I checked out, got out of the store, came back immediately alone, went to get another bottle from the shelf and bought it...how stupid is that.

We stop at the LCBO when in Ontario because of Food and Drink magazine they provide free of charge. The stores offer a wonderful selection of beers, wines and liquors which are quite similar to MB Liquor Marts but there are several beverages that we can only find at the LCBO. The magazine is really well done and only offered in Ontario LCBO locations. It is also available online but our family is old school when it comes to reading glossy magazines looking for food and drink beverages. Staff at LCBO like in MB are always well trained, very helpful and always friendly. I find prices in ON to be about avg 5% cheaper than same items in MB.

I had a very rude experience at this LCBO. All I wanted to buy was two coolers and so I brought them up to the register, and the man at the till told me that I cannot remove them from the 6 packs that they were in. There was no sign about this rule. The Barrie LCBO and Collingwood LCBO both allow this. And I have had no issue doing so. I suggested that the cashier put up a sign so that people know not to do that. She did not even acknowledge words and was very rude to me. I absolutely will not be going back to this LCBO, as I do not appreciate being treated so unkind for something that I was not aware of.

Very rude staff followed us in between the isles and stopped us to ask for our ID! And then asked us to keep the friend of ours who didn’t have her ID on her outside the store. I have been going around LCBOs all the time and I have never been treated so poorly! I’ve seen people bringing their kids inside! If I remember correctly, the regulation is to ID the person who is purchasing. Such poor costumer service and only because we looked young! Will never shop here again.

Terrible service! From cashiers with attitude to staff not knowing how many LCBO stores there are in a community! Google maps was more useful than this staff and location! Let's not forget my first visit when the cashier wasn't wearing a mask, or gloves between cash transactions, never once wiped down the debit machine between customer use either and quite frankly was straight up rude when I asked a simple question about selling single and 6packs! Thankfully I'm only here visiting because if I had to interact with this idiots everytime i or my father wanted liquor...I'd quit drinking!

Hi, I wanted to give a huge shout out to their employee Mitch! Before Thanksgiving my niece accidentally left her purse in the washroom full of American cash, I called the store on Sunday and Mitch answered, said they found the purse and it was in their safe. Unfortunately we were traveling back home the next day and the store would be closed, but Mitch offered to bring it home with him as he lived right down the road and we could pick it up from there. He took time out of his Thanksgiving to make my niece got her purse back. It was a great experience for her as it was her first Canadian Thanksgiving and a wonderful example of the kindness of Canadian people. Please let his managers know how great of a person they have on staff!

A two storey LCBO, with a floor dedicated to wine. Located close to the infamous Forest Hill area, the clientele and the product selection reflects the "taste" of the people that live here. The 10pm closing time makes it a convenient backup option for some that live in the North York borough.

I was recently at this location with 2 other ppl ...I did not have the proper so I had my friend bring up the alcohol to the counter ....the man I.d my friend he had the proper then he asked me for my I.d which I was confused about .... I told him I don't have my I.d ... but I'm not the one purchasing it ...he said cause I was holding the bottle at one point I needed to be I.d ...he then told us that he could not sell us the bottle and started to get rude....luckily I found my I.d after he stated to get rude.... but this is the most disappointing service I have ever experienced....3 black adults going to buy alcohol and to get racial profiled is sad I know for a FACT we were 3 while adults this would never happen.. THANK YOU MARK FOR THIS EXPERIENCE.... THANK YOU TO THE OTHER CASHIER WHO WAS WORKING WITH MARK FOR ALSO YELLING/ ARGUING WITH US INSTEAD OF DEFUSING THE SITUATION LIKE A REAL EMPLOYEE..... 2021 Edit: Returning experiences have been pleasant. Original review: Perhaps don't shop here if you appear young? Instead of checking for the $400 specialty Canadian Club, which I admitted I thought might be online only - I was just looked at. Me like I was crazy. Told me to check the glass whiskey cabinet. When I asked help from her again later, she told me to google it. The older gentleman at the cash asked if my alcohol was for Christmas gifts and told me his mother would've called me lazy. I suppose I should be happy that I'm told I'm "doing well" when it's seen that I'm 32, and not appearing 25 or younger. But I actually don't like the comment against my age and how I look. Can't be avoided I suppose. If it weren't the most convenient location for me, I would choose another LCBO to see if they had better customer service and sales help.

Yelled out “you should have used a basket that’s what they’re there for” and drew attention to me in front of the whole store. I was embarassed and singled out. I visited out of curiosity since I wanted to make a mental comparison to its other provincial sister company, the SAQ, and I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all. The layout was well set by wine types, spirits, mixers, beers, etc. Besides having a neatly sorted selection of world wines as well as Canadian offerings from all over the country. I had a very pleasant conversation with the manager, who was candid by stating that himself and the personnelle were still on training and that they were waiting for corporate offices to assign a sommelier to help clients, though despite this fact, he recommended a pretty good wine that I enjoyed with sushi. They have a rather good selection of wines and I'm sure, that once they get more experience, they'll be adding other good selections. Service was uncompromisingly friendly and welcoming, thanks for the pleasant experience!

The lady asks me for ID, I said mam I have only passport which is a picture in my phn , she said it's not valid( I agreed and said ok mam I will just go stand outside ,if u feel iam not abouve 19, actually iam 26) ..and she said nop my brother can't pay bcz I touched one of the small bottle soo... She said can't serve you.... Now I stood outside and he again gone to pick up with his Canadian ID, tht time she shouted before everyone tht "I can't serve guyz like u", bfr everyone and discriminated us bfr all... tHis shd not happen to anyone sooo be aware of wat I faced mentally bfr all tht much customers watching me.....????????

Pretty big LCBO has a lot of selection. Sadly not when it comes to beer. But hard liquor is here. Has all the big names and the expensive names. Would be my go to for alcoholic beverages.

This place is always pristine clean, well stocked. I was looking for sherry and they only have a few choices. I wanted Harvey's Bristol Cream sherry, but didn't see that. My husband tried sherry for the first time during the lockdown. I told him, my mom used to have it when I was growing up when my dad had his wee nip of Black Velvet . I may use this bottle for a trifle dessert soon.
