I love LCBO!!! I love beer, I love wine, I love vodka... I don't like whiskey that much. So i wanted to try a sample of wisers whiskey. In Waterloo, Stratford, Guelph and other lcbos in Kitchener, they have sample packs on bottles other than type and brand of the sample itself.... As if I would buy a 40 of wisers to try the samples on the bottle of the bottle I'm buying... It's special education I tell you... So we grabbed a different bottle of booze, and put the wisers sample on the new bottle of alcohol. Getting up to the cashier, this lady of a (enter word that comes to mind) ...yanks the samples off the bottle screaming at us like we committed a crime. So much so that the gentleman behind took a step back, A STEP BACK! like wow.... "you can't do that! That's not aloud! These go on their own products!" she says. Um excuse me chick! Your stupid, lcbo places these sample on bottles other than their own!!! We told her that "theses belong on different products other than their own"And wow was she rude and mad! I have never experienced such ungrateful, poor, and rude service, in my life, I felt victimised and totally attacked! I have family members in lcbo corporate and they WILL be hearing about this. I can order as much alcohol as I want through the internet, delivered to my front door, quick and easy. So quick and easy that my family members in lcbo have told me that lcbo is scared that online shopping will erase local shops... So if that cashier, who was the "frontend" supervisor "" , a position a highschool dropout could attain, wants to keep her and her coworkers job, she needs to calm the heck down and stop treating her customers like trash. The store manager CarloCatalli needs to revise his policies and procedures with his employees. Samples are free for lcbo to aquire. im sure wisers would LOVE to hear that their expenses in the form of marketing samples are being represented in an appropriate fashion leading to lower sales of their products... I wonder. I will never go to this lcbo ever again.
