A few years ago I wanted to make my own beer and was told about KJ. Each experience I've had there has gotten better and better. They are set with an impressive inventory of brewing & wine making supplies. Their willingness to help you learn how to DIY is on another level. Each time I go in, they have my order history with our brew recipes that we can tweak depending on how the last batch went. It's a solid experience. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking to get their own wine made or are interested in making their own craft beer.

We just started brewing and got all of our supplies and recipes from here so far. The 8 gallon brew pot and starter kit had everything we needed for our brews. I also love their selection for bottles! We have brewed three delicious batches and can't wait to keep making more. Their great customer service and detailed recipes have made our brewing experience successful. My personal favourite recipe so far is the Yule Log Cream Ale recipe. This store also has everything that we will need to start creating our own recipes in the future.

Kamil's wine is always great quality, and the co-op wines allow you to get really good wine at a discount. There is a definite difference between wine made from juice vs wine from a kit, a much better quality. The staff are friendly, and very accommodating, I highly recommend them. It's worth the drive to Guelph.

If your still undecided, keep in mind that Kamil Juices is located in the same plaza as a microbrewery so you can stop in @ Royal City Brewing after making wine for a delicious cold craft beer. On my first visit, they did not ask if they can help just rushed to place my order to get me out. Felt like I was being served by a teenager at McDonald’s. The corking machine broke when I went to get my wine. They added the sulphate in without asking me. Wine was good.

Was looking to build out a C02 setup for homebrew beer. Called with questions. Spoke to Connor who walked me through everything I'd need. No upselling or specific product pushing, just a clear plan for all the components I'd need based on what I was trying to accomplish. Did curbside pickup. My order was thoroughly checked for completeness and I was invited to call with any further questions. Was able to find some of the components slightly cheaper on Amazon. Was able to find a cut-rate regulator as well. What I ended up with from KJ, though, was high quality with the product support to back it up. I'll be calling if I have questions and, if this whole pandemic thing ever ends, I'll look forward to actually, you know, going into the store.

I stumbled upon Kamil Juices a few years ago when I started really getting into drinking wine and was looking for a way to keep myself stocked up and offset the cost of LCBO purchases. I had had some homemade and ferment on premise wines before so I went in with the expectation of "you get what you pay for", but was completely wrong in my assumptions; the quality of product was incredible. Starting with high quality, pure juice really makes a difference. Even young most of the wines are very enjoyable and once they've aged they are top notch. The co-op program is a winner as it allows me to get in on some interesting blends and try some new things out without committing to an entire batch. Not to mention the added benefit of the discount built into the program. The barrel program is also awesome and every year I get in on the Malbec. Couple quality product with staff who are passionate and knowledgeable and you have one of the best all around customer experiences possible. They've got answers for my questions, and in the singular case where I had a concern it was addressed and corrected without hesitation. Fantastic service, fantastic product, satisfied customer. Well worth the 45 minute drive. I now offset my KJ wine with the occasional bottle from the LCBO to try something new and figure out what I might want to whip up in my next batch!

We have been making wine with Kamil Juices for more than 20 years. The quality of the juices from Europe and Niagara as well, have been unmatchable. Because of the success we have had with wine making right from the start, we branched out into creating our own unique blends. We have always done all the work at home and have never had a bad batch. The staff has been very supportive and informative. We trust them implicitly in their choices of products year after year. Last year they challenged us to do the "grapes to wine" route. Once again their guidance helped us create 2 reds (Baco Noir and Cabernet Franc) that just went into the bottles this week. Superb taste and colour.

Fantastic people who provide top tier customer service. Very helpful with early home brewing questions through advanced techniques and technologies. Always friendly and engaged. They carry a good selection of grain and some adjuncts. Sometimes you have to make substitutions but it’d be unreasonable for them to stock literally every specialty grain I want. They can mill it for you if you don’t have a machine. Their yeasts are refrigerated, as are their hops. I’m not so into wine making, but they have a number of reasonably priced juices. They also sell car boys, hoses, flasks, bungs, air locks, wooden barrels (not always), cappers, caps, corks, wood chips, yeast nutrient, Irish moss, basic through intricate cooking tech, pots, etc. Only my most eccentric home brews force me to shop elsewhere for extreme niche products.

I started making homemade wines with kits that used tap water. When I heard about Kamil Juices making wine from only the juice, I thought it sounded better. It was! Much, much better. The wines I get from Kamil Juices are far superior to anything else I made at other home brew shops including one other place that used juice only. Connor is the person who has helped me the most at Kamil Juices. He knows his business thoroughly and offers great advice. His judgement is excellent as are his customer service skills. He is very accommodating and will help you get just what you are looking for. All the staff at Kamil has been very knowledgeable and helpful. Our family and friends were originally surprised at the quality of our wine even some of the ones who turned up their noses at homemade wines in the past. Now they look forward to any new ones we try. Kamil constantly comes up with new juices which give us variety. They also started aging wine in oak barrels. I have done one batch so far and it is excellent. In fact, if I don't tell people it is homemade, they ask what winery it came from. Kamil Juices and the staff who work there ensure we have a good time when we go to bottle the wine. This makes it a fun experience from start to finish.

I absolutely love this place. Would not be anywhere close to where we are now home brewing... Upto 120 liters at a time... ???????????????????????? I miss Connor working at the front though. He is amazing with difficult customers (myself included) and always has friendly advice (whether i take it or not). Try their beer of the month as a all grain starting point.... I started with extracts and went all grain the second time... If you have the patients, all grain is the way to go; better price and way better beer in the end. And you can customize the recipes easier with all grain imo. Cheers. Keep up the good work folks.

For the past several years we have been making wine with Kamil Juices in Guelph, which is quite a drive for us, but well worth it. We have made about a dozen different types of red and white wines with amazing juices from all over Europe. We have enjoyed all the different varieties and were never disappointed. The staff is helpful in choosing and knowledgeable about all their superior juices which they source out themselves. When friends try our wines from Kamil Juices, they are impressed with how minimal the cost and how pleasing they are to the palate. Can't wait to pick up our next batch!

I have been making wine with Kamil Juices for probably about 3 years now. I absolutely love the wine I have taken home and get compliments from all the people I share it with. It has made for wonderful personalized gifts as I have always taken advantage of the creative labeling they offer. Perfect as part of a wedding shower gift! I have also shared it with friends who are now also filling their cellars with this wine. I started out just making the Valpolicella, which is amazing, and being fearful to try any other reds. I have now tried about 5 (or more) different reds and loved every one of them. I have made couple of whites too but I am more of a red fan. I love their coop program that runs all year because I am able to make smaller 14 bottle batches (at a discount) to try a new wine and have the option to make a larger batch when it's one I know I love and don't want to run out of! They also keep things interesting with other programs like the Turbo Barrel program I am currently waiting on! They are making small barrels of Chianti that will be ready for Christmas! A great adventure for wine lovers or a special gift for others to enjoy!
