Lori is a wealthe of knowledge. Great customer service and friendly knowledgeable staff. Perfect place to go if you're interested in wine making. You go in and pick your wine kit from a wide variety of options. The kit is prepared and stored in the store until it is ready. All the equipment and accessories you need to bottle your wine is there for your use once your wine is ready. Or you can pick up a wine kit and everything you need to make wine at home. My husband and I always enjoy our wine bottling dates at Village Craft Wine. Highly recommend.

She is so very knowledgeable about everything, is always willing to help however she can and is never too busy for anyone or questions. I will not shop anywhere else. This is a great place to make your own wine. As rewarding as I'm sure it is to go through the process yourself start to finish, the great thing about Village Craft is that the process is mostly done for you. We are by no means wine connoisseurs so Lori made it very easy for us. We will be returning for more; highly recommended!

I made the Argentinian Wine Trio which is a blend of Riesling, Viognier and Chardonnay. If you like whites I highly recommend this one! Lori did an incredible job at all stages, including helping me choose my additives, and really knows her wine! I can't recommend them enough if you want to stock your cellar! One yield is about 30 bottles and I still haven't made it through my stock, eventually I will get around to making a red!

Was about to give up on winemaking (after 15 years) due to heavy lifting and excess work of the Carboy method. UWinemaker makes better wine, less work, no mess, less wierd supplies, no science bits, no lifting, faster aging, no kit taste, still allowing for customization.. Only way -- gave away old carboy supplies. And, you've got experienced professional friendly help with a Sommelier at your disposal. Ask Santa for 2 of these systems. She took the time to explain what needed to be done. The fact that she is a sommelier makes this place even better! We are so happy to be doing business there now!! Thank you!! Last October, I moved from a small Ontario town called Caesarea , near Port Perry. A beautiful cottage area with Scugog Lake being one of the attractions. One of my concerns about moving here to Calgary was finding a place that could make my Merlot as good as I was used to from an outlet in Port Perry, For eight years. I'm happy to say AFTER a trial run looking for a place that I can just do repeat business with, I'm glad I found Village Craft Winemaker and "LORI" who does an excellent job providing me with the beverage of my choice. I'm NOT a wine connoisseur by any means and prefer MERLOT as my main choice of wine. The taste, robust flavour of the Merlot I enjoy, In my opinion, is a better quality from various brands I have purchased from various other Calgary Brew on Premises. She uses a new method to make it in and I find the wine fresher and much more drinkable. Lori does a great job in delivering the goods and providing the customer service....In these challenging times. I joke with Lori, “Your Place is too clean!" Stay Safe... and enjoy the beverage of your choice and make sure it is made at Village Craft Winemaker. Ernie

There is tremendous skill , passion, and product knowledge here. Lori is not only knowledgeable about wine making, but is also a certified Sommelier. What a combination! The store is well stocked with both conventional and innovative winemaking equipment,as well as a broad selection of wine kits. Also, Kudos to Lori for taking advantage of the opportunities opened by Bill 6, which allows her to offer hosted brewing to her customers.

Prices on kits are WAY too high, and the selection for wine isn’t that good in my opinion, for they did not have the wine I wanted, and I went to another place that had better service, and also the wine I wanted.
