Service Not Friendly. No one says hi when u walk in. 0 eye contact. No one tries to sell or recommend anything. Really snobbish service. Especially the older lady. Just cold like ice . I have spent good money here. I bought a bottle of the 1985 Stags Leaps Cask 23 from this store back in 1990. So yeah. I'm OG. It's unfortunate. Beautiful store. Well laid out. But the service.. Unfortunately.. Heavy sigh.

Coming from Ontario, I know exactly where to go to when I want a pinot noir in lcbo, but the friendly staff at this store helped me to find one of the finest wines I ever had in a mess of un organized bottles. In their defense, there was a renovation being done at the store.

Great locally owned and operated wine shop. They bring in wines from regions and producers that are not available in the standard liquor stores. They also have a lot of great events on specific regions and to meet the producers and learn more. Huge supporter of many of the community initiatives in the city!

Omg i recently moved near by and so sad i haven't discovered this place sooner! Such friendly staff and great selection! Made an impromptu visit after running to a store near by and two staff members very happily assisted me. One of the friendly gentleman excitedly showed me to their new spirits section which i learned they've been fighting to get for quite some time and I was shown some amazing unique bottles I've never even seen before!! Got a super cute cloth bag at check out with divided sections to take home all my purchases. Beyond thrilled with my experience, I will definitely be back!!!

Well, it was my first time stepping into the store and I can only say experience wasn’t the best. Hoping to find a bottle or 2 single malt scotch from hunter laing (old malt cask) as I had no luck with the other usual liquor stores I usually go to. So I stood in front of the scotch display and didn’t see what I was looking for, so I asked one of the employees to see if they had any other choices. “We have some expensive ones in the back room” was all I was given. Well then, I tried again, being more specific if they had at all anything from hunter Laing, old malt cask, green tubes. “No” I was told. Walked out of the store, took a peek at the “expensive bottles room” I saw a bottle from old malt cask. Maybe I haven’t been there enough to be their usual customer to spend on “expensive bottles”, but I am sure I could have been treated with a bit more patience.

Great store! Very friendly staff. Was from out of town and I had heard about this liquor store and that I just needed to check it out. When I got there I was a little surprised on how small it was. Then I found the wine wall and fell in love. The staff seemed to always be busy but none of the racks were very clean and there wasn't much facing done.

Very good selection of unlisted wines. My absolute favorite being Whispering Angel. I'm so glad they have it there since it is no longer available in BC liquor stores. I recently discovered their "private room" with higher end wines. Great selection there too. Biggest complaint is price. But I think it has more to do with BC legislation than the store owner...

The selection is very good but I just cant go back anymore. The service is horrible!!! We had to wait to pay as the wine tasting was just finishing up and they were too busy taking pictures of each other. No one offered to help. I have gone to this store for many years but over the last few months service has really dropped. I feel as if I'm bothering the staff. I hate to see the local shops losing money, especially to the BC liquor stores, but that is where I will be making my purchases from now on.

Was a bit lost as to what to buy our boss for a going away present so we decided on a 'nice wine'. Of course, that didn't narrow the field at all! I called Marquis, they were VERY helpful over the phone and I ended up buying a red and a white Chateneuf de Pape. They made the selection and the purchase very easy indeed and ensured it was within the price range I needed. I can see why this lovely store has expanded so much. With great service and a gorgeous selection of wines, I shall be back for both modest and expensive purchases.

They called my son to confirm a delivery time that worked for him between his university classes, and they kept the gift a surprise. Truly a steller location for amazing varietals of discerning vintification. Knowledgeable staff will help you find the perfect match from an elegant dinner party to a relaxing picnic. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Shop for your wine and enjoy the gaybourhood. My only caution. Avoid Moxy at all cost. Pretentious staff. I waited over 30 minutes one evening for a drink. They totally spoiled a anniversary celebration for my husband and I. The worst waitress in history. The Fountainhead Pub and The Score Bar tied for Best Bars on the Village. Celebrities, avoid the place like the Black Plague. Ruined. Sadly one of the Best gay bars back in the day. Now ruined by breeders. You straight people have 1000 bars in the GVA. Leave ours alone. However I digress. Your shopping experience here will have you coming back over and over.

I ordered 2 bottles of Champagne to be delivered to a hotel they were staying at in Vancouver. They were prompt, efficient and it worked out perfectly that when the bottles were delivered for our client happened to be in the lobby at the same time with his family so it was a nice little presentation of his gift for his 60th birthday. I would highly recommend them and Robert Bell, the online gentlemen that I dealt with couldn't have been more accommodating or professional. Outstanding Customer Service by Lindsay Needed to get a bottle of Champagne delivered out to Burnaby on an extremely tight schedule and this woman went out of her way to ensure that it happened. This was not uber-expensive champs and she went above and beyond anything I would ever expect. Will never return to any other liquor store as I have clearly found the best of the best!
