I miss Metro Liquor. Much better vibes. Can tell this company is more corporate than "family owned", seeing as the behavior of the staff went from a more natural helpfulness to pretty much being annoying. If I look like I need some help, sure I'd love assistance, but if I'm just grabbing a 24 pack of beer, I don't need to be bothered. There are only a few beers to even consider. Genuinely good customer service should not be annoying to anyone...

Great service, great people, parking on the kingway side i wouldn't recommend, as Dennys customers claim up thier parking. There are 200 spots within 25 feet of the store,wheelchair accessible and generally its not pavked,especially during covid. Take it easy. Namaste

This liquor store always has minors in it throughout the day. Always see adults with there kids. I did a test and brought my 12 year old in at night, I was denied service by Beth and was accused of bootlegging for my son. I explained and asked how can they let other bring minors in and sell them alcohol while I am being denied service. Beth claims in the law that there is a grey area where they can decide whether to sell to customer accompanied by minors or not. Very unprofessional. Go a little further down dogwood and pay lower prices at Meercroft.

Not exactly sure what happened here... my partner and I have been supporting this small independently owned liquor store since we moved to Burnaby this year. The selection is very limited but we made due because we like supporting smaller stores. However, the staff is a toss up and can be very rude. We unfortunately were mistreated by a staff member last night. She refused to sell us a 6 pack and bottle of wine ($40-$50 earning) because we couldn’t provide 2 forms of identification each, she repeated “its BC law” because our license is Albertan. We walked out empty handed after supporting this business for 6 months. We will never be going back, but we found a new liquor store right around the corner with friendly staff who gladly made the sale to us.

ive tried to request a product through your 1) store locations, 2) through your website (twice), and 3) have contacted your facebook team (who assured me they would look into the status of my request). I havent heard one response.. not one. this has been going on for 3 months! i can honestly say i will never shop at your store, or recommending you to anyone ever again. We're done. you've lost this customer for life. BC liquour store filled my request in a weeks time and called me as soon as it was in. Perhaps you should take a lesson from them on how to conduct business.
