I used to buy wine juice from Bosa but now their price increased to almost liquor store prices. Could make good wine out of juice but I would probably go and buy from liquor store in the future because it is too much hassle to make my own wine and it does not worth the trouble for saving a buck per litre. Bosa should think about being competitive if they want to keep their customers.

I've only recently restarted making wine, but I'm doing a lot of small batch country wines that call for a wide variety of ingredients and utensils. When I walked into Bosagrape, I almost fell over in surprise. This place is huge, a real winemaking supermarket. The staff is extremely helpful, and practically everything under the sun related to beer and winemaking is here. They even carry cheese making supplies.

All the staff members I interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly. They have a pretty wide selection of various kits and equipment. If you're just getting started they're able to set you up, and if you just need one piece of gear, they're likely to have that too. Bottle prices were very reasonable, and I ended up spending less than I thought I would on everything I bought.

Huge selection of supplies available, but everything it absolutely more expensive than any other option I have found. Sure, a few bucks here or there isn't much, but it adds up over time. They have a few hard to find things, though. Customer service is definitely where they come up short. Make sure you check the date on your yeast, they aren't above selling you year old yeast at full price if you don't check.

A good homebrew shop with a really extensive collection of homebrewing, winemaking, and draft equipment, up to semi-pro quality. There's a decent ingredient selection. It's a little premium-priced but worth it for the convenience of buying this stuff in store.

Bosagrape has been around for years in the lower mainland. They wholesale and retail to big and small operations alike. Their website is pretty great so you can enjoy listing after your next equipment upgrade. I made a sizeable purchase from them when I upgraded to kegging my home brew. After some issues with some used kegs, they handled it without question or challenge. Since they are a pretty large operation, this store has got most stuff in stock, they can get it or if they can't, it's probably not likely you'll get it elsewhere. I don't even mind driving to Burnaby from Vancouver, which can always be a bone of contention in the lower mainland having to compete with traffic. The lovely lady at the front desk was friendly, super helpful and exudes all the qualities of excellent customer service you'd hope to receive in any transaction! You can't go wrong making a trip out to Bosagrape!

I’ve made the mistake of ordering on Amazon before coming here, I find Amazon disappoints when creating, sometimes you need to see (in person) what your buying to make sure it’s right. Definitely worth the trip and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I truly enjoy every visit. From bungs to bottling and every in between - if it’s good it’s in stock here.
